Chapter 1

Previous Chapter

“Come on, Fluttershy!” Her father called from downstairs. “We don’t want to be late for the tour at your flight camp!”

“Alright dad! I’m almost ready!” Fluttershy replied from her bedroom, while preparing her saddlebags. She was excited to visit her flight camp for the first time. She was curious to see what her school is about, after reading that flyer which came from the mail a few days ago. As Fluttershy was getting ready, her parents were right by the front door, checking their supplies as well as squaring away their appearances.

Fluttershy's father was wearing his favorite, blue sweater while her mother was wearing her rose colored sweater.

“Great! We're all set! We just need to wait for them to come down," Mrs. Shy said to her husband as she closed her husband's saddlebag and gave it to him.

"That's wonderful, honey," Mr. Shy replied as he strapped the saddlebag. He then wondered about his appearance and said to his wife, "Oh! I was wondering, how do I look?"

His wife looked at him into his teal eyes for a moment, then she checked his appearance. His swirled, pink mane, lighter than her daughters’ and his tail which is shorter than hers, appeared to be squared away and well combed, including his pink mustache. His light and pale, green coat also looks well groomed and his wings are neat. There also wasn’t anything on his cutie mark, which features three clouds. She smiled, knowing that her husband is an expert at the weather factory.

“You look pretty nice, dear. There's no boogies on your mustache.” his wife smiled, which made her husband blush. “What about for me?”

Her husband then examined her. He loved her wife's grayish, cherry eyes and raspberry hair curls. Her light, amber coat was well groomed as well. Also her wings are tidied up. He then admired his wife’s flank, curly tail and cutie mark, which featured three flowers. As he starred, he then daydreams. He loves his wife’s way of gardening and always finds them pretty. Moreover, he always found her round flank kinky, including her glasses.

His wife notices that he’s daydreaming. “Ahem.”

Mr. Shy snaps out his dreamy state, looks back into his wife’s eyes and replied, “Oh! Um...y-you look very pretty, honey,” with a goofy smile.

Mrs. Shy then lidded her eyes with a smirk, which caused him blush once more. Giggling, she then faced the stairway, waiting for their son and daughter to come. They then see their son trotting down the stairs, along with his saddlebags.

"Hey mom! Hey dad!" Zephyr Breeze greeted as he trotted to his parents by the front door. He was also tagging along as well and was also curious to see what his sister’s flight camp was about. His light, grayish mane and tail was a bit messy. Also his light, aquamarine coat was not well groomed. His voice being a colt is a bit annoying, due to him being mostly loud and highly obnoxious.

"My hair's a bit messy. Can you help me mom? Make me look jazzy?" Zephyr asked with pleading grayish, cherry eyes, along with a smile.

His parents were a bit shocked of his messy appearance, but his mom then replied, "Alright dear...just come upstairs to our room and I'll tidy you up, but real quick."

"Thanks mom! And pops? Can you hold this for me?" Zephyr asked and just simply threw his saddlebags at him, which startled his dad, but manages to catch it. He then cantered right up the stairs, making her mother sigh.

"I'll be right back, dear." Mrs. Shy said to her husband.

"Okay honey," he replied as he set Zephyr Breeze's saddlebags gently on the ground. Because of Zephyr, they’re going to be a little late, which made them a bit stressed. As his wife went up the stairs and into the parents' bedroom, his daughter came down, wearing her green sweater her father gave her, as well as her saddlebags. Their daughter was taller than their son.

"I'm ready to go dad," Fluttershy said with a smile. She was clean and well groomed. Her father smiled, but then faltered.

"That's nice to hear Fluttershy, but..." her father sighed, "We need to wait for your brother. Your mother is...tidying him up." His response made her daughters' smile fade away.

"Oh." Fluttershy sighed and slightly lowered her head. "We're...we're going to be late, aren't we?"

Her father then replied, "No need to worry Fluttershy. We'll just be a few minutes late. A few minutes won't hurt, right?" He put his best smile to reassure her.

"I...I guess so." Fluttershy replied. She then sat down with her hair still lowered. She didn't want the group at flight school to start without her. She doesn't want to get a bad impression from the instructors for being late.

Her father notices and puts his fore hoof around Fluttershy's shoulder, comforting her. "Don't worry. Everything is going to be great. Besides, this is your first visit there. I'm sure they won't mind us for being late," her father said, and rubs her shoulder.

Fluttershy then looked up to face her father and smiled. "T...Thank you dad," and she hugs him. Her father smiled and returned the hug.

A few moments later, Fluttershy's mother came down with her brother Zephyr Breeze, finally tidied up and ready to go. He wore a yellow sweater. "I'm ready!" Zephyr exclaimed. He then trotted to his sister. "Sorry I kept you waiting sis. Didn't want to show up to your school looking hippy like."

Fluttershy sighed and replied, "It's fine Zephyr. Just...please don't do it again."

"Don't worry, sis! My hippy style won't show off again!" Zephyr exclaimed with glee as he got his saddlebags next to his father.

Fluttershy was unamused and started to face the front door. "Alright everypony! Let's head to the flight camp!" Mr. Shy commanded as he opened the door, letting his family out as well as letting some of the cold air in. After he locked the door and placed the key underneath the mat on the stone slab connected to their home, they were off.

They took off and left their home to visit Fluttershy' flight camp. Fluttershy and her brother flew behind their parents. It was a sunny day, but the Winter season still made the air cold. It was a nice, cool day for an afternoon flight. They overlooked Cloudsdale from above as they passed by. Fluttershy didn't like heights, but she enjoyed the view of it and felt more confident flying with her family. Her flight camp was not that far from her home.

As they approached, they see the flight camp and it was quite a sight. It was much bigger than their own home. The school had a few obstacle courses. They had a bunch of cloud hoops, wide roadways, orange flags and so on. There were some foal pegasi that played there. It was like a big playground that was specifically designed for the pegasi.

"Quite a sight there, huh sis?" Zephyr asked, referring to the flight camp. Fluttershy nodded, as they approached the school grounds and landed near the entrance.

From there, they see a group of ponies. There's parents with their foals as they waited for one of the instructors to start the tour. There appears to be nopony at the podium, yet.

Zephyr Breeze looked around and he actually enjoys what he sees. He then sees a group of colts playing a game of tag with each other. Feeling excited, Zephyr turned to his father as he unstraps his saddlebags. "Hey pops? Is it alright if I play with them, plz?

Mr. Shy looked at the foals then back to his son, "Of course, Zephyr. Just make sure you don't ge-"

"Thanks pops!" And Zephyr immediately throws his saddlebags at his father again, which startles him. His father felt his adrenaline rise every time his son does that to him, and he hates when his heart goes too fast. Zephyr approached the colts, introduced to one another, and off they played. As Mr. Shy shrugged the feeling off and holds his sons' stuff, he sees her daughter smiling as she looked around, which also brought a smile to his face.

Fluttershy felt relieved that they didn't start yet as they approached the group. "See Fluttershy?" her father said as they joined the group. "We're only a few minutes late and the tour didn't start without us. The instructors are probably still getting ready too, so we're not the only ones who are late."

Fluttershy smiled at her father and turned back to wait for the instructor to arrive. As she waited, she noticed a filly who was looking at her. The filly smiled at her and approached eagerly. She then greeted, "Hi!" This startled her a bit, and she looks up to her parents.

Her mother smiled, lifted her fore hoof and encouraged her, "It's okay." Her father nodded. Feeling a bit more comfortable, Fluttershy tries to interact with the filly. The filly had a pale, light grayish apple green mane and tail. Her coat is slightly light grey and her eye color is the same as her mane.

Fluttershy looked at the fillies' straight eyes and greeted, "Um...hello..."

"Hi there!" the filly smiled. "Is this your first time here?"

Fluttershy nodded, feeling more comfortable since the filly had something in common with her. Fluttershy parents watched and smiled, feeling glad that she was making a friend. She felt more confident as the filly continued.

"Nice! Me too! I haven't been to flight camp before," the filly replied. "I'm Derpy. Derpy Hooves! What's your name?"

Fluttershy replied quietly, "I'm...I'm Fluttershy..."

Derpy trotted closer and replied, "What?" As she brought her fore hoof to her left ear.

"I'm...I'm...my name is Fluttershy..." Fluttershy said, more quieter than before.

"I'm sorry, I can't hear you," Derpy replied and trotted a few more steps closer.

Fluttershy felt nervous and backed away slightly. Her parents noticed this and went to accompany her. "Her name is Fluttershy, dear." Her mother answered for her. “Sorry about that. She’s a bit...shy.”

"O-Oh! Thank you and I understand. And...what's your name?" Derpy asked.

"Just call me Mrs. Shy," she replied. "And this is Mr. Shy," and pointed her fore hoof to her husband. "We're her parents."

Mr. Shy extended his fore hoof and then said, "Pleasure to meet you eh...what's your name?"

Fluttershy felt much better and a bit confident that her parents were beside her. Derpy shook her father's hoof.

"Hi Mr. and Mrs. Shy! I'm Derpy. It's nice to meet your daughter! She's so cute!" Derpy smiled.

Fluttershy blushed and smiled after hearing her comment. Nopony else besides her brother has called her that before. "T-Thanks..." she replied back.

Derpy giggled, but suddenly a whistle blew. Everypony stopped talking and paid attention to where the whistle was coming from. The instructor was finally here and was already at the podium. She was a young mare, who's here to help guide them through this tour. Her coat was light grey, has light blue eyes, and her mane was white. The mane look wild, like wind has seem to blown through it. Her cutie mark had whistle with a pair of wings around it.

"Sorry Fluttershy! I got to get back to my parents. We'll chat more after. Talk to you soon!" Derpy said as she cantered back to her parents. Fluttershy waved at her as she went back, and faced the instructor.

The instructor spoke aloud into the megaphone, "Greetings everypony! My name is Whistle Bolt and I'll be your tour guide for today. This is a big camp, so I advise everypony to have your own foals be near you. They can easily get lost if they're not being watched."

As soon as they heard this, everypony immediately told their foals to be with them through most of the tour. Zephyr groaned and waved goodbye to his new friends and went back to his family. He retrieved his saddlebags from his father.

Zephyr asked his dad. "Hey dad! Are we-"

"We're on a tight schedule, so I'll make this real quick." Whistle Bolt said, interrupting Zephyr. "As some of you know, our camp has a lot of fun activities and a bunch of events that we do here. However, this is a public camp, and there are rules to follow. Now I'm not going to explain every rule, but the number one rule is this, and I hope everypony remembers. Be nice to everypony and support your wing mates along the way. Follow that, and your experience at camp will be a lot of fun."

Fluttershy nodded and smiled, sinking that rule into her head.

The instructor continued. "The rules will be explained more next week, if you guys decide to enroll in this camp. Alright everypony! If you can follow me inside the school, I'll be happy to guide you guys through the camp. And please, no cantering. Thank you."

Whistle Bolt left the podium and trotted of the stairs, telling everypony through her megaphone to go follow her lead. She guided the group inside the school. The school was quite big and it was mostly made out of cloud. It was mostly one story and they were a bunch of classrooms. Some of the structures and foundations of the building have enchanted magic, where they can't simply fall through the clouds and heading to the ground below.

Fluttershy's family followed the instructor, as Zephyr went to her sister's side. "Hey sis? I think this place is pretty cool." He whispered.

Fluttershy nodded at him as the instructor stopped for a moment and once again speaking into her megaphone.

"As you walk through the hallways..." Whistle Bolt continued, "...you'll pass by some classrooms. We have a library and a cafeteria, which I will take you guys in a moment. Feel free to look around, but don't wander far."

Fluttershy went to the closest classroom along with the foals who opened the door in front of her and went in. Zephyr went along in there too as their parents stand by. She only just took a peak in the classroom. They had a big chalkboard, cloud seats and a couple of desks as well. "So this is what a classroom is supposed to look like..." Fluttershy thought. After much gazing, she went back to her parents.

Zephyr Breeze came out of the classroom that Fluttershy was peaking earlier. "The chairs in the classroom are pretty soft! You're going to love the chairs, sis!"

"They're...soft?" Fluttershy wondered.

Zephyr nodded as the instructor called everyone back. "Okay everypony, let's head to the cafeteria. We will pass by the library along the way.

Whistle Bolt led the group by the library, but it wasn't very big. There were a few book shelves that don't have a lot of books. Zephyr then whispered to Fluttershy, "I think they're mostly for little colts and fillies,” he guessed.

The group went to the cafeteria. It was big, but not as big as the obstacle courses. Whistle explained, "This is where we mostly eat our lunch in, everypony. You can go out back and eat your lunch there, if you want. You can watch the obstacle courses from there. The food here is free, so don't worry about bringing your bits." This made Fluttershy smile as she heard this. Maybe flight school isn't bad. "However, make sure you save some for the other foals. We will have a limit on the foods."

Most of the foals nodded. Pleased with their response, she replied, "Alright! Time for our favorite sight. Let's head outside and visit the obstacle courses!"

The foals cheered as Fluttershy's family went with them. Fluttershy was a bit startled by their cheers. She was not used to it. Zephyr Breeze whispered to his sister on the way out. "Whoo! Free grub! You are very lucky, sis! And you don't have to make your lunch at home!" His response made Fluttershy smile and giggle.

The group went to the back of the school's entrance and had to walk ways to get to the obstacle courses. It was very spacious as the group trotted across the cloudy field. There were orange flags, which created a path that lead to the obstacle courses. Once they arrived over there, Whistle Bolt resumed her speech, "We have a bunch of obstacle courses in our camp and we trained our foals to be the best that they can be! Feel free to see and try out the obstacle courses for yourselves, but have an adult nearby. This is the last part of the tour."

As the instructor allowed the group to explore more of the playground and obstacle courses in depth, Fluttershy was in awe that her flight camp had a bunch of fun things. However, she didn’t feel like trying the obstacle courses and was a bit nervous looking at those cloud hoops. She sees some foals that are faster than her, like seeing the filly with light, turquoise coat and an amber, striped mane just speeding through the course. Hopefully she doesn't have to do it and instead just learn new things, as well as making friends.

Thinking back, Fluttershy hardly had any friends when she was homeschooled. It was just her and her brother. She only played with him whenever given a chance. Then, she remember she had an acquaintance and looked around to find Derpy. See she’s Derpy again on thr cloud hoop with her parents watching, who looked at her and waved, before she went through. Fluttershy waved back and smiled. "Maybe I can go to school here. This place has a lot of fun things here and...and I really like to make new friends." Fluttershy thought.

After a few minutes looking and playing at the obstacle courses, the instructor started once more, "Alright everypony! That's enough! Let's head back to the entrance!" The foals groaned and went back to their parents. "Don't worry! You can play with them again next week and I'll teach you how to be really good on the obstacle courses!" The instructor promised.

Everypony was then leaving the obstacle courses and they trotted back toeard the entrance. Instead of going through the back entrance, they went around the school. Along the way, the instructor brought the group to the plushie boxes. There was a lot of plushies to give around. "Thank you everypony for coming to the flight camp! Here's a free plushie, but you guys can only get one. Oh and please get an enrollment sheet! Make sure you guys fill them out and have one of your parents or a guardian drop it off to us. Have a nice day and fly safe!"

Fluttershy picked the bunny plushie while Zephyr Breeze got the Wonderbolt plushie. Afterwards, Mr. Shy went and got the enrollment sheets by the plushie boxes for both of them, incase they would like to attend flight camp. He scrolled up the papers and put it into his saddlebags.

The family followed the group to where they started the tour. There was another group, that was waiting for the next tour. The sun was beginning to set. Derpy Hooves went up to them and said to Fluttershy, "It was nice meeting you Fluttershy. I wish I can hang out with you longer, but we're going to get going soon."

Fluttershy smiled and replied to her, "It was nice meeting you too, Derpy. And I understand."

"Hey, maybe we can meet up at flight camp next week! I have a bunch of things I like to share with you Fluttershy." Derpy said.

"Oh...Oh okay." Fluttershy said with a bit of enthusiasm.

"Anyways, I have to go. Nice sweaters by the way! Talk to you next week!" Derpy concluded, as she galloped back to her parents.

Fluttershy's parents smiled and waved as Fluttershy said her farewells, just a little bit louder. "Ooooo! Nice, sis," Zephyr cheered with a smile. "You got yourself a friend." Her sister blushed at his response while her mother approached her.

"I'm so proud of you dear for making a friend." Her mother praised her. Fluttershy grinned and replied, "Thank you mom."

Mr. Shy said, "Alright Fluttershy and Zephyr, we're flying back home. Let's have dinner and get ready for bed." His family nodded and they flew back home, holding on tight to their plushies.

However, unbeknownst to them, there was a colt, who had a grayish, brown coat who looked at the family. He eyed on Fluttershy mostly as she left with her family. He had heard little of their conversation earlier with Derpy Hooves. That colt was in the next group that waited for the tour. As Fluttershy grew smaller from his view, he hope that one day, he will interact with her, if she chooses to come here, since she is mostly shy.

By the time they came home, night fell upon them. They washed themselves up and got ready for the night. Mrs. Shy had already made tomato soup with garlic, for dinner. Fluttershy enjoyed her time being with her family at the dining room. As for Zephyr Breeze, he really enjoys her mother’s soup.

"Mmmmmm...Mom, you sure know how to make good stuff. This soup is yummy!" Zephyr hummed as he slurped up the soup.

"I'm glad that you like it dear. Just please don't make a mess on the table." Mrs. Shy said as she pointed the mess that's on the table, with her fore hoof.

Zephyr looked down and saw his mess. "Uh...whoops! Sorry mom!" He replied and tried to reduce his slurps.

The soup was warm and just right for Fluttershy, and as she dranked it, she liked the warm feeling in her stomach. She enjoyed her soup and loved the flavor, but she was a bit annoyed with her brother's overly loud slurps while her mother and father were taking small slurps. There's something that she needs to ask to her parents.

"Mom, Dad?" Fluttershy asked.

Mr. Shy looked at her and answered, "Yes sweetie?"

Fluttershy paused for a moment, then asked, "What did you both think of the tour?"

Mr. Shy looked to his wife for a moment and said to her, "We...We thought it was good. That instructor gave us a pretty good view of the place. Am I right, honey?"

Mrs. Shy agreed, "Of course dear. But there were a lot of foals over there. It’s seems a bit competitive there.”

“Oh...um...okay.” Fluttershy responded. There were indeed a lot of foals over there, more than she expected, which made her nervous. She fears the foals will push her along with them and be trampled upon. Also, she'll be piled whi-

"Fluttershy? Are you alright dear?" Her mother asked, which startled Fluttershy. She noticed that her daughter went quiet for a few moments.

"Oh! Um...I-I'm alright mom," She then turned to Zephyr. “What about you Zephyr?”

Zephyr ceased his slurping and looked at his sister with tomato sauce around his lips. “Huh?”

Fluttershy repeated, “What did you think of the tour?”

Zephry gave his opinion, “Well sis, I really enjoy the tour! I mean, you get free grub, try out awesome obstacle courses, and not making lunches to bring to school! I think I would like to go there myself!”

Fluttershy was surprised at her brother’s choice, “R-Really Zephyr? You like to go there?!”

“Of course! C’mon now, sis! I like that flight camp as much as you do.”

Fluttershy felt relieved that her brother maybe coming to school with her, to accompany her through the stampede of pegasi foals.

Mr. Shy questioned, “You really want to go to flight camp, Zephyr?”

“Yeah pops! I actually made a few friends back there while I was playing tag!” Zephyr exclaimed, "I want to play with them again!"

Mr. Shy put his fore hoof to his chin, and turned to Fluttershy. “Do you want to go to flight camp too Fluttershy?”

Fluttershy looked at her father. She looked to her mother and then to her brother, who was nodding quickly, implying her to say yes. He did point out good reasons to go to flight school. She then look back at her parents and nodded.

"Are you sure you want to do this dear? If you like, we can still homeschool you. We can homeschool both of you.” Fluttershy's mom suggested.

Fluttershy thought about this. She's thankful to her parents that she has the option of continued to be homeschooled. But she would like to learn new things outside her home and make new friends.

"Thank you mom for giving me the choice...but I like to try out the flight camp. I also want to make new friends." Fluttershy answered.

“Now you’re talking, sis!” Zephyr praised and resumed his slurping.

Her parents then look at each other for a moment. They both nodded, and turned to Fluttershy and Zephyr Breeze. Mr. Shy was the first to respond.

"Alright Fluttershy and Zephyr Breeze! If you really like to go to the flight academy, we're going to need to fill these out first,” their father said as he stood up from the table, got the enrollment sheets from his saddlebags, and gently laid them on the table. He continued, “Once we're finished, I'll just hoof the enrollment sheets over to the flight camp tomorrow morning, before I go to work," Her father concluded.

Fluttershy grinned and hugged her mother and father. "Thank you mom! Thank you dad! Thank you both so much!" she exclaimed.

Zephyr joined as well. “Thank you both! Give me some family love! You too sis!”

Her mother replied, "You're mostly welcome Fluttershy. And you as well Zephyr." And they did a group hug. Fluttershy teared up with them.

"I...I love you all..." Fluttershy said affectionally, but quietly.

Her parents were able to hear her and smiled. Her father replied, "We love you too, Fluttershy."

Zephyr added, “You got your brother’s love, sis.”

Fluttershy allowed her tears to flow freely. Their hug lasted for awhile.

As agreed, Fluttershy's and her brother's parents filled out their enrollment sheets. When they were done, Mr. Shy put both of their sheets into his saddlebags. The siblings smiled at each other once their father closed the saddle bag. Afterwards, the family cleared their plates and Mrs. Shy wiped off Zephyr’s mess on the dining table. Fluttershy then trotted back upstairs and into the bathroom.

After she brushed her teeth in the bathroom and said good night to her parents, Fluttershy went into her bedroom. Her bedroom was mostly soft and warm. It was decorated with a bunch of animal plushies. The walls are pink and the floor is very soft, soft enough that she can easily lie down on it and sleep. She has five pillows and some plushies on her queen sized bed. She has a bunch of blankets, more pillows as well as plushies in her own closet. Some of the blankets are made out of silk. She had a white wooden table, for either drawing or doing homework. There were stickers on one side wall as well, like butterflies, polka dots and many more. Her bed frame was very decorative and had a butterfly hole at the top in the front and back.

As Fluttershy got onto the bed, she put her new rabbit plushie along with the collection of the plushies that's on her bed. She didn't even noticed that her brother was by the door.

"Hey, big sis," Zephyr Breeze knocked on Fluttershy's door. She sees him by the door, wondering what he wants. "Can we talk?"

Fluttershy nodded and allowed him inside his room. Zephyr Breeze looked around the room and said, "Whoa sis! You have a bunch of cotton animals. It's almost like a party in here!" Fluttershy smiled at him as he sat by her bed.

"Zephyr, you can sit with me on my bed...if you like," Fluttershy offered, but found herself blushing a bit. She didn't think she ask him that before.

Zephyr replied, "Thank you sis, but I'm feeling comfortable on this feathery floor right here. You sure do like soft stuff."

"Mmhmm," Fluttershy hummed as she sat on the bed facing him, "So what is it would you like to talk about Zephyr?"

"Well..." Zephyr thought aloud. "...I guess I’m feeling a bit nervous of going to this flight camp.

“Oh don’t be nervous, Zephyr. This will be my first time too and I’ll be there.” Fluttershy ensured him.

“Thanks big sis, and I’m feeling ecstatic about it too! I can’t wait to play tag again with my new friends.” Zephyr exclaimed.

“Me too Zephyr,” Fluttershy agreed, but she faltered a bit. “Though, I’m a little nervous about the obstacle courses and the foals there."

“What do you mean, sis?” Zephyr asked.

“Well...” Fluttershy thought for a moment. She continued, “I hope we all don’t need to do it. And I...and I wonder if I have to do them in front of everypony,” She shuddered.

“Oh...but I’m sure you’ll do fine, sis! You said it was your first time, right? And most of the foals there don’t breeze by on their first try.” Her brother encouraged her.

“I guess so...” Fluttershy replied, “Maybe your right Zephyr. It’s everyponys’ first time and I’m probably overreacting a bit.”

“Yeah sis! Just enjoy yourself on the courses. Maybe you’ll get better.” Zephyr replied.

Fluttershy smiled and replied, “Thank you, Zephyr.”

“Anytime, sis,” Zephyr responded back.

Then they remained quiet for a few moments. Fluttershy smiled at her brother at his response, then broke her focus and looked at her fore legs. She rub the blankets and crossed her legs, as Zephyr Breeze watched.

She unfolded them and replied, “Zephyr...I’m kind of glad that you want to go to flight camp with me.”

Zephyr smiled and responded, “Me too, sis! We’re going to have a lot of fun there! It’ll be like a party!”

Fluttershy grinned at his enthusiam. She feels glad that her brother has the same interests as her on flight camp. She replied, ”It’ll be a lot of fun, though we may get separated into our own classes.”

“Oh...but can I be with you during recess? Maybe talk to the grey filly that you were with?” Her brother asked.

“Of course! You can follow and be with me during recess, but only if you want to.” Fluttershy offered. “But I understand if you don’t want to, since you also have friends as well.”

Zephyr Breeze smiled at his big sister and hugged her, which surprised Fluttershy a bit. "Thank you! You're the greatest, big sister ever!"

Fluttershy smiled and hugged him back. They hugged for a few moments until her brother broke the hug. "Anyways sis, we should spend the last few days playing together at home before we go off to flight school." Zephyr suggested as he trotted back toward the doorway.

"Don't worry, we will. I promise." Fluttershy said.

Zephyr Breeze smiled at her older sister. "Anyways, I'm off to bed now. Night Flutterbutter!"

Her brother then disappeared from her doorway as he went back to his room. "Good night, Zephyr," Fluttershy replied quietly.

Fluttershy got under the covers of her bed and then laid on her bed quietly. She got her bunny plushie and brought it near her to sleep with. She then arranged the pillows and brought them to the sides of her head, to keep in heat. Afterwards, she thought about the tour of her flight school, and smiled to herself, feeling excited for next week. And most exciting, she can't wait to talk to Derpy Hooves again. Things are going to look great in a few weeks, hopefully.

Author's Note

Hey guys! What's up? Anyways, this chapter was a bit tricky to make, especially when trying to put the dialogue in. I had to do some research. You know what they say, good quality chapters take time. In my opinion, I think there's some things I need to work on, like trying to avoid saying the word "said" many times and improve on the grammar. But other than that, it's a start.

Anyways, there will be more in the future. It's going to start up slow, but it will build up later on. I'm working on the other chapters right now, and they're coming along nicely. Also, I like to try and complete this story. That is my goal. I know it's going to be long, but I'm up for the challenge. I've seen other good, promising stories like, A Countryside Hideaway, written by Enigmatic Otaku, but most of them didn't finish. And I know that SorcerusHorserus is doing other things, but I like to see how Dash Academy turns out. She definitely made us a cliffhanger on the recent page. Hopefully, they'll get back to it one day.

Alright guys! I'll be posting more chapters soon. It will take time, but can't wait to see how this story plays out. I like to create about a 5,000 chapter or more, so you guys can get the full experience of the story. Enjoy it and have fun!
