Mercenaries for life

Twilight had three different expressions on her face when she saw the Princesses in their base looking at the mess her teammates have made. Shocked as to why their security cameras didn't alert them of their arrival, Confused as to why Celestia was licking their wall cake and, a full-blown look of anxiety as she turned around and knelt in front of them. Lighting up her horn and teleporting her other two teammates into the main room as she enveloped all of them in her purple magic aura forcing them to do the same as her.

"Princess Celestia and Princess Luna, how can we be of service to you?" Twilight asked waiting on their reply, as Luna wrestled her sister away from the cake batter pulling her in front of the six girls in front of them.

*Ahem*

"The Elements have been requested once again to deal with a life-threatening assignment we will discuss the details in the throne room. Celestia announced regaining her composure as she and Luna made their way to the throne room.

Twilight released her magic over the rest of the girls as they all stood up and glared at her. "Hahaha Well I think we should go see what this life-threatening assignment is." Twilight looked at her teammates nervously as she started to sweat as a hand was placed onto her shoulder.

"Twilight!!" A white mare unicorn with a grandiose curly purple mane and tail screamed as she looked at her leader peeved off. She stood at 5'6 wearing a sexy black slitted dress that showed off her ample curvy ass with a three diamond necklace between her D-cup breasts. "This attire took....me eight hours to make...and now it's covered in bucking cake batter!!!" Her nose flared up as her face got redder steaming with anger. "So Twilight darling I'm going to be here reworking this entire outfit cause if I miss out on Fleur de Lis fashion." Gripping down on her shoulders as hard as she could smiling on the outside but still boiling on the inside."Your books and grimoires will be paying the price, Capiche?"

"Capiche Rarity." Twilight whimpered in pain as Rarity finally let go of her shoulder as she walked back to her room.

*Boom*

Rarity slammed the door so hard it echoed through the whole castle "Okay I guess Rarity won't be wanting to go on the assignment given to us by our...you know bosses that sorta rule all of Equestria Hahaha." Twilight laughed nervously as her mane started to frizzle out finding it harder to breathe as she made her way to the throne room along with everpony else. As the other girls were leaving for the throne room there was only one pony left behind. A yellow pegasus mare with a silky long pink mane standing at 5'4 wearing a full set of butterfly pattern pajamas as her buttons were barely holding back her F-sized breasts.

"Fluttershy let's go!" Rainbow Dash bellowed for her pegasus friend to get a move on.

"Oh no you all go on ahead I was just thinking of cleaning this up before we have to leave on a dangerous life-threatening assignment," Fluttershy said distracting herself by grabbing a mop and broom as she went to work cleaning up.

*Sigh* "Every time."Rainbow grumbled knowing that to get Fluttershy to go on a dangerous assignment is the same as trying to get Twilight away from a book. "Have fun then we'll be back." Waving her hand as she left the room to follow the others catching up to the three of them.

"So how's Twi?" Rainbow whispered to AppleJack

"Okay so with Rarity out of the picture I guess that just leaves just us five!" Twilight turned around as her eye started twitching "Where's Fluttershy?"

"Weeeeeellll...she's being Fluttershy." Rainbow dash admitted shrugging her shoulders making Twilight's start to smile and chuckle to herself as she started mumbling to herself.

"Okay, any other pony who doesn't want to go on this dangerous assignment because we still don't know what's so dangerous about it!!! Or maybe you have plans that you don't want to miss out on I mean it's not like we're getting paid by all of Equestria to do our job or anything!!!" Twilight complained as her eyes started twitching faster the rest of them all simply shook their heads not wanting to further upset her. She walked into the throne room where the Princesses were sitting as she sat down blowing her mane away from her face. While the rest of them followed making sure to give her plenty of space all of them were sitting in silence watching the Princesses hoping they would break the awkwardness.

"Someone has requested the Elements once again and here's your payment for the job." Princess Celestia revealed calmly as she slid the bag of bits towards Twilight along with the scroll. Twilight began to read the scroll calming down as her eyes stopped twitching and her mane soothed as she looked back up seeming like an entirely new mare.

*Sigh*

Twilight rolled the scroll to the other girls as she faced the two amazonian mares in front of her."Princess Celestia and Princess Luna as the Elements of Harmony when you first brought us together it was to stop Princess Luna from spreading an Eternal Night. Since then we have stopped countless monster attacks, ponies who didn't believe that Princess Luna should be able to rule again, along with protecting the Grand Galloping Gala for three years." Twilight reported dead serious as she turned her face at the other three mares as the look of boiling anger was present on their faces. "And you're telling us to kill a dragon that not only kills ponies like it's squashing a bug but to steal back a phoenix that may or may not be dead. And it lives right by Ponyville the same place where you made me go to find the rest of this team?" Twilight said with a confused mocking look on her face.

"Yes, that's correct," Celestia said looking into the young mare's eyes and giving a smile.

"You should have come by sooner, my team will be ready in an hour were going to need to use the royal underground tunnels AppleJack and Rainbow Dash you two take care of Rarity Pinkie Pie convince Fluttershy," Twilight commanded as her teammates walked off.

Ponyville

As Spike and Zecora got to Ponyville they immediately caught other ponies eyes with Spike's borderline indecent clothing along with Zecora who is rarely seen without her cloak on. As young mares covered their foal's eyes or tried not to make any eye contact as whispering could be heard all around them.

"Is that a dragon?"

" What a couple of perverts."

"Mommy isn't that what grandpa has to wear."

Curious glances were coming from every direction as Spike's face became redder as he could barely look up from the ground. As Peewee landed on his shoulder with an old dusty brown patched satchel as Spike looked at it with astonishment. "Peewee is that my old bag I thought I threw that away where did you even find it!?" Spike took it from Peewee's mouth as he felt some weight from it looking inside it was filled to the brim with bits.

"It seems little Peewee is quite prepared, compared to his partner who is getting utmost started." Zecora chuckled as they finally got to the clothing store which bared a resemblance to that of a carousel but not without a crowd of ponies trying desperately to spy on what the two were doing. As they walked inside as the bell to the shop alerted the fashion designer of their presence. "Welcome to the Carousel boutique where every...." The mare stopped in front of the two as she went mute from seeing a dragon that alone would be enough but seeing him barely dressed made her whole body freeze up.

"Ummm....hey sorry about this but do you think you could help me get some clothes?" Spike said trying to laugh the awkward tension off. As he looked at the mare before him seeing her coat was light vanilla and her mane was light cyan with lighter blue highlights along with a flower hair clip as she wore a yellow sleeveless cardigan with a purple skirt and a red ascot. "Umm... madame?" Spike looked down to see a name tag. "Aaahh Coco Pommel!!" As Spike smiled his razor-like teeth showed making the mare grab Spike by the arm and throwing him across the room. Spike went flying as he hit a couple of mannequins on the way as Coco tried to regain her breathing as Zecora and Peewee burst out laughing at their friend's misfortune.

"To send a dragon flying is amusement in of itself, but what my friend was hoping was for some clothes for himself?" Zecora told her from a safe distance as Coco turned beet red from throwing a potential customer across the room.

"Oh no, I'm so sorry for what I just did to you!" Coco said in a flustered panic as she walked over to help Spike up from the mannequins only to be met with two bright red draconic dicks as her whole face turned as white as a ghost.

Canterlot

"Rarity would ya please stop being a damn brat and get your flank out here!" AppleJack screamed pounding her hand against the door as her blood was continuing to boil. She now wore a long-sleeved brown shirt with a matching vest and chaps with a bullwhip on her hip and her hat. Rarity had locked herself in her room for a solid 30 minutes barricading it with magic.

"Excuse me darling I'm pretty sure I told Twilight I have a prior engagement that I refuse to miss" As Rarity was fixing her hair and trying on different outfits that could at least pass for upper-class.

"There is a bucking dragon in Ponyville you stupid cunt!!" AJ retorted getting more and more upset at her teammate selfish complaining.

"Ah... Ah...Ah, AppleJack we both know that if a dragon was in Ponyville AppleBloom and SweetieBelle would be sending us letters about what it was doing." Rarity corrected knowing her's and AppleJack's sister were known to get into crazy situations that would terrify even the oldest of ponies. As she opened the door with her horn only to get a paper shoved in her face reading it she turned around and closed the door on them.

"Rarity get out here!" AppleJack demanded as Rainbow Dash came flying back landing right by AppleJack she now wore steel armor which covered her B-cup breasts completely and on her back was a broadsword.

"So how's Rarity coming along?" Rainbow Dash asked and just on cue Rarity came out wearing a black leather jacket with the collar popped up with black jeans and on her hip, she wielded a glistening blue rapier.

"Well, are we going to kill this dragon or not?" Rarity said pulling her rapier out and spinning it around before sheathing it again as she flaunted her mane as she walked downstairs.

"I bet Pinkie Pie doesn't have to deal with this shit." AppleJack facepalmed as she stomped off grumbling all the way.

"You'd be surprised." Rainbow Dash mumbled as she followed the two downstairs and saw that not a single glop of cake batter could be seen. As they saw a yellow streak and bouncy pink streak going back and forth across the room.

"Come on Fluttershy think about how exciting it'll be to kill a dragon!!" Pinkie Pie exclaimed bouncing up and down on a pogo stick trying to convince Fluttershy who was flying all over the castle.

"I'm good you girls have fun," Fluttershy reported with her hands up as she tried to get away but Pinkie Pie was already behind her.

"But what about going back to Ponyville I know how much you miss your old cottage with all your animals!?" With a huge cheesy smile on her face as she asked with excitement getting more and more excited. "Oh, what about all the delicious food that you can only get in Ponyville!"

"Oh, should I order something from wingmates?" As she whistled for a cloud to write down her order but before she could do that she was enveloped in Rarity's magic. Forcefully having her clothes taken off as her mercenary clothes were put on her she now wore a green dress that was entirely made of leaves. That blended in the wild so well that sometimes even her teammates never knew exactly where she was until she shot an arrow from her natural wooden bow.

"Come now Fluttershy we'll have none of that nonsense of not wanting to go." Rarity scoffed at Fluttershy's childish behavior only to be put back in her place.

"Now hold it right there Rarity I've been banging on your damn door for the past thirty minutes." AppleJack still pissed off from having to deal with Rarity's uppity bullshit.

"Why must you always live in the past AJ darling I'm here now aren't I?" Rarity retorted in a grin only to make AppleJack even more pissed.

"Why I oughta." AppleJack was this close to backslapping Rarity across her face only to be stopped by Twilight walking in and glaring up at her sending chills down her spine.

Looking at Rarity to release Fluttershy as Rarity did so as commanded she looked Fluttershy in her eyes"Fluttershy try to think about it like this a dragon is keeping a poor defenseless rare phoenix in captivity and if we don't kill this beast many other mystic creatures will be in just as much danger." As Twilight handed Fluttershy her bow as she grabbed it and stood up having newfound confidence in her eyes. "Now then girls let's kill us a dragon." As the six girls walked out of their base of operations.

Back In Ponyville

Spike was holding a bag of ice on his eye as Coco was apologizing, again and again, taking the ice off showed he had a hoofprint covering it. "I'm so very sorry please please don't sue if my boss hears about this she'll fire me," Coco said almost on the verge of tears as Zecora made her way into the conversation.

" Spike how could you make a lovely mare cry, for that you deserve two black eyes!" Zecora joke lifting her leg to mimic how Coco stomped her hoof on him.

As Spike gave a death glare at her and turned around to see Coco still bowing her head as sighed not wanting to get to make a big deal out of this. "Look it was my fault, to begin with coming here with barely any clothes on so let's just let bygones be bygones ok." Spike held out his hand as Coco looked up and agreed by shaking his hand. "Good now that that's cleared up do you think you could let me try on some clothes I kinda need them if I'm going to walk outside in public?"

"Of course right this way!" Coco beamed as she took Spike over to the measuring center as she brought out a ton of tools. "Since this is the first time a dragon has come here I need to get your measurements and tailor you an entire outfit," Coco exclaimed in full-blown excitement as she measured Spike's arms legs tail and wings.

"Umm hey I kinda have other places to go couldn't I just buy a few clothes and you could just stitch them together?" Spike getting more nervous as she pressed her boobs against him and writing down his size.

"I guess you're right this outfit would take the rest of the day." Stopping her work as she grabbed what would fit him and made him wait outside the room as she started working on it.

As Spike came back out he saw a crowd of ponies all looking at different clothes as a ruse to take a closer look at the dragon. Making him feel uncomfortable he sat down as three teenage mares sat down next to him.

"Hey, you're a dragon right!?" The young teenage mare said in excitement as her other two friends had the same look on their faces all three of them had extremely different styles you couldn't imagine them being friends. But just trying to imagine one without the other two just felt weirdly off. The one talking was an earth pony with a yellow coat and red mane she wore blue overalls with a baggy white T-shirt giving a glimpse of her breasts as she wore a pink plaid headband.

"Yeah, I am my name's Spike how about yours?" Spike smiled this time making sure not to show his teeth.

" Name's AppleBloom, this here is Scootaloo and she's SweetieBelle!" The other two girls stood up to do a little salute as the two were like polar opposites. Scootaloo being a pegasus with an orange coat was sticking out all over and a purple mane styled in a brushed-up mohawk. wearing a beat-up old Wonderbolt jacket with lightning bolts on the shoulders with a purple shirt and brown shorts. On the left, a sweet looking unicorn’s white coat was well-groomed her pink and purple mane was styled into silky curls that flowed down past her shoulders. She wore a white dress with a purple blouse on top of it with regal trimmings.

"Pleasure to meet you both." Spike did the same gesture with his hand that wasn't covering his crotch.

"So why ya naked?" Applebloom questioned as Spike immediately tried to change the question as he looked around to find Zecora to get him out of this mess. Not being able to see her he had to try the next best thing as he whistled loudly making Peewee rush to his side causing nonburnable flames to trail behind him.

"Well, this amazing bird is called a phoenix toughest bird in all of Equestria but doesn't know how to hold back on his flames." As Spike threw Peewee under the bus as Peewee looked back at him with a look of shock and disbelief cooing in response. Spike tried to ignore him not being able to look him in the eyes as he bit his lip only to hear the sound of curtains being pulled back as Coco waved him to the back room. "Hey, you three mind watching Peewee for me while I get this done thanks you're the best!" Turning around mouthing I'm sorry to his feathery friend.

"So this is a phoenix Granny Smith told me their so tough not a single metal in Equestria can hold them back when they're mad!" AppleBloom beamed stroking the back of Peewee's head as he cooed in enjoyment.

"Well, I heard there so fast nothing could keep up with them well besides Rainbow Dash obviously." Scootaloo corrected herself as she scratched underneath Peewee's chin

"They're feathers are supposed to be an everlasting masterpiece just one of them could make anything look ten times better." As Sweetie Belle tried to pluck one of Peewee's feathers only to be stopped by Zecora.

" A phoenix feather is all of those things, but to take one by force trouble it brings." Zecora smiled at the three mares

"Zecora!!!" As the three went to hug her. "How've you been Zecora?" AppleBloom asked knowing that the Carousel boutique isn't a place Zecora would spend her time.

"All though these clothes are things I'd recommend, I'm here to shop with a dear old friend" Zecora smiled as she let Peewee nuzzle against her.

"Wait a minute is your friend dragon and is his name, Spike." SweetieBelle chimed in as her eyes were sparkling with joy as Zecora went along with it.

"Oh yes, it seems you already know, and in reverse Spike has met the CMC trio," Zecora replied as the three girls went into a group huddle.

"Zecora has a special somepony well dragon," SweetieBelle informed the rest of the girls as they both looked at her confused.

"What are you talking about Zecora just said they're friends." Scootaloo corrected

"Yeah, that's what every adult pony says when they don't want others in their business." As SweetieBelle shot her friend's suggestion down flat.

"So yeah let's not be in their business remember what happened last time?" AppleBloom tried to make her friend recall what happened with her brother and teacher when they played matchmaker.

"Yeah but this will be different." SweetieBelle tried to convince the two as they looked unamused as her request as they moved behind her and grabbed her by the shoulders and dragged her away from the scene.

"See ya Zecora take care of Peewee for us." AppleBloom and Scootaloo said as they waved goodbye

"Come on girls no why!" SweetieBelle complained as they left the store and as if on cue the curtains unfolded as Spike walked out wearing a stitched together purple hoodie with two holes on the back for is wings and a pair of baggie pants matching pretty good with his necklace. As everypony took a good look at the dragon giving some Ooohs and ahhs as he made his way back to the now present Zecora. "Hey so how do I look?" Spike said giving a good ole fashioned turn barely able to see any sort of stitching.

"I must admit, this outfit is a perfect fit," Zecora said as she tossed his bag back at him as Peewee landed on Spike's head. as Coco walked up behind them and gave Spike a new satchel.

"An apology for the way I acted before and this outfit is on the house." Coco smiled as she went to the front desk to check out multiple ponies who were waiting for their turn.

Zecora leaned in and whispered in Spike's ear. "A very nice mare I saw her blushing, you should ask her for some very rough loving?" Making Spike blushed intensely as he wanted to scream at her but held back as he threw his hands in the air and just walked off.
