Peewee, Zecora, and Spike walked out of the boutique with his face blushing as he switched satchels and filled it with bits as he looked at how much was there. “Now what should I use all this on?” Pondering what his large amounts of bits could be used for his stomach began growling like crazy. “Food ...definitely food Zecora where’s a good place to eat?” As Spike grabbed his stomach and kept walking forward.

“A meal so great that you’d jump for joy, come follow me and you’ll be sure to enjoy.” As Zecora grabbed Spike’s hand and walked quickly to a giant gingerbread bakery with a two-layer cupcake on top of it. “The Cakes are masterminds for sweets, eating here one time will have you coming back for more treats,” Zecora announced as they made their way inside getting hit with different types of aromas from cookies to pancakes. The intense smell had Spike and Peewee drooling not paying attention to the many staring of ponies.

“Mr. and Mrs. Cake a pleasure as always, many different delicious pastries with extra glaze.” Zecora requested as the two ponies looked at the two unique guests as they gave cheerful smiles.

“Of course what are you three in the mood for?” Mrs. Cake asked as she brought out a pen and paper.

“An herbal tea is all for me, but for these two something triple the portion of a mere pony.” Zecora gestured toward Spike and Peewee whose mouths are still drooling as she walked over towards a table.

“And what can I get you, two sweethearts?” Mrs. Cake said smiling as she wrote down Zecora’s order and waiting for theirs.

As Spike looked all over the glass counter as Peewee cooed his order in Spike’s ear.“Umm…could we have a dozen gem cupcakes a large apple cider with three birdseed cookies?” As he reached into his satchel and grabs enough bits to pay for their triple portion meal and Zecora’s.

“It’ll be right up sweetie!” Mrs. Cake walked back to the kitchen as Mr.Cake started working on Zecora’s tea as Spike made his way to the same table.

“This bakery smells so good,” Spike said taking another big whiff of the majestic aromas in the air as his body relaxes as he slips down in his chair. As Mr. Cake walks forward with Zecora’s herbal tea and places it in front of her with different kinds of berries and two breaded croissants.

“Yes, the SugarCube Corner has quite the fragrance, just begin inside has already brought me a new radiance.” Zecora smiled as she took a sip of her tea letting out a relaxed sigh.

Mrs. Cake and Mr.Cake come out walking with four large trays of desserts and a barrel of apple cider and places on the table. Turning heads of the many customers as they were questioning if he could eat all of this. “This looks delicious.” Spike grabs his claws on a sapphire cupcake and takes a bite as his eyes start to sparkle as he goes into ravenous eating shoving the whole cupcake into his mouth as he licked his scaly lips. “Hehe...wow sorry about that.” Spike gave an embarrassed grin as the other ponies started giving small chuckles and warm smiles as the whole bakery filled with joyous energy.

“Glad you like it, dearie,” Mrs.Cake said as she and Mr.Cake walked back towards the kitchen while Peewee goes to eat his birdseed cookies.

{Mane Six POV}

“Okay girls our mission is to kill this murderous beast and hopefully rescue the wandering ponies ancient holy phoenix and return it to them,” Twilight commanded as she walked with a grimoire in her hand moving through the elaborate tunnels. “This is extremely dangerous not only because dragons are very aggressive creatures but also because we have next to no information about them.” Going further into the tunnels as she turned around to make sure the rest of her team were keeping up.

Turning around she saw her Applejack giving a confident smile with the rest of the girls right behind as she placed her and onto Twilight. “Twi listen we all know how dangerous this assignment is that’s why we’re all here right now with you.”

“Well...Umm...technically?” Fluttershy being cut off by Rainbow’s hand covering her mouth and forcing her to agree.

“Yeah and besides were totally awesome at this shit we’ll be done with this mission ten seconds flat!” Rainbow said as her words echoed through the caves.

“And it’s super-duper fantastic that we get to go to Ponyville again I mean think of how many things have changed since we’ve lived there!” Pinkie Pie said now in her mercenary attire she wore a yellow shirt and frilly pink skirt and on her back was a giant hammer. The giant hammer seemed way to big for her to be carrying as a weapon but she was surprisingly proficient at it bouncing and skipping as they walked through the tunnels.

Hearing what Pinkie Pie said made Rarity and Applejack bite down on their lower lips worrying if their families were even still alive. As the group of girls came across what seemed to be a stairwell as they made their way upwards opening a secret trapdoor and entering the ruins of. The Castle of the Royal Pony Sisters as beams of sunlight passed through the busted rubble and haunted decor.

“ My word I’ll never understand why Celestia and Luna would allow their old royal castle to stay in such hideous shape?” Rarity said pulling out a frilly looking handkerchief to cover her mouth and nose as to not breathe in the ancient dust.

“There’s actually a fascinating reason behind Princess Luna’s decree for not letting it be rebuilt. She wanted to keep it this way as it serves as a great reminder of what jealousy and hatred could make a pony become. The horrid destruction that can break the bonds of family and the painful ignorance it can bring on to oneself.” Twilight explained walking around the ancient castle in full astoundment at the history it holds and will continue to tell for many generations. “And not only is this a great history lesson that can now be found in school books it also serves as a courage test for young fillies and colts. And even on Nightmare Night that has gotten a new version where ponies from all over celebrate sleeping through the day and playing through the night. Princess Luna was so happy when Princess Celestia made the holiday for her.” Twilight went on more and more about the history and trivial facts as she made her way towards the broken entrance and took a breath of fresh air as she saw the sun was getting ready to set as the burning red and orange filled the sky. “Okay girls let’s get to...” Opening her eyes she could see the rest of them were already crossing the bridge. “Girls wait up there are still some more fun facts about the castle.”

“Huh oh yes, believe me, darling we couldn’t be more enthusiastic about hearing the history of the Royal Pony Sisters castle for the third time.” Rarity and the rest of the group walked off as Twilight rolled her eyes and cracked open a history trivia book.

“So where in the hay is this dragon’s suppose to be Twilight?” AppleJack said pulling the scroll from her pocket and rereading the message. “ All it says is that this darn bucker lives on the outskirts of Ponyville in a barren wasteland but that could be anywhere do they not know how big the Everfree Forest is?” As Applejack handed it to Twilight and started pacing thinking of where the dragon lived.

“Rainbow Dash Fluttershy you two in the air see what you can see,” Twilight commanded as the two went into the air looking around to see an area that resembled a rocky, dry, isolated place. Fluttershy tugged on Rainbow Dash’s metal sheath that held her sword. As Rainbow Dash turned around and saw rocky mountains with not a soul in sight Fluttershy grabbed Rainbow’s face with her hand and forced it to look at a giant cave.

“Alright, we got a location Rambling Rock Ridge!” Rainbow informed the rest of the group as the two pegasuses head back towards them already on the run.

“Twilight darling I hope you made sure we got a plan on how we kill this dragon before we get there right?” Rarity asked running the same pace as Twilight while Applejack and Rainbow Dash were booking it jumping over fallen trees parkouring off whatever they could. Doing insane stunts that didn’t even make them go faster but just made them look so much more badass than the rest of the group.

“What’s the matter Applejack can’t keep up with an actual athlete?” Rainbow mockingly asked jumping from tree branch to tree branch as she smiled and kicked off one of the trees so hard leaving an imprint on it while not even using her wings flew to the other side of AppleJack and continued running. “Boom all that with steel armor you can admit it I’m amazing.” Rainbow boasted as a massive swamp was approaching. “Hey, cowgirl you know a swamp’s up ahead if you want I could carry you across.”

Rainbow smiled as AppleJack slowed down to grab Twilight and Rarity in her arms “Twilight Rarity boulder at 3’oclok mind helping me out.”

“You know darling this thing you and Rainbow Dash have it’s not...” Rarity was immediately stopped by Applejack squeezing her stomach tighter as she glared at her.

“Me and Dash don’t have a thing so kindly pick that boulder with your’s and Twi’s magic and throw it into the swamp or be prepared to be used as a springboard!” Applejack threatened and that’s all it took for the two unicorns to use a levitating spell on the boulder and throw it inside.

“Ha man AppleJack how dumb can you…”

*Booom*

Rainbow Dash was stopped in her tracks as a four-headed Hydra appeared from the swamp. As Applejack rushed towards it faster as she took a giant leap off she slammed her boot right on the neck of one of them as the other three tried to stop her. Moving with pinpoint accuracy and acrobatics she managed to avoid all of them and bounced her way to the other side. Letting Twilight and Rarity down as she said “ Ay reckon if' ya need me t' come pick ya up in maah arms ah could bounce back over. As she chuckled at Rainbow Dash’s blushing face.

“I got my wings,” Rainbow mumbled but it was loud enough for AppleJack to hear as she busted out laughing falling to her knees as Rainbow Dash slowly flew over to them not even having to avoid the hydra since AppleJack put them all back to sleep. “Happy now?” Blowing her hair out of the way as AppleJack got up wiping a tear from her eye.

“Next time don't get so full of yourself sugarcube.” As she patted Rainbow Dash on her back sending her leaning forward a little. “Now then where are Fluttershy and Pinkie…”

“Well silly all you had to do was ask!” As Pinkie and Fluttershy appeared like magic behind her.

“Now where the hay have you two been?” AppleJack said crossing her arms and tapping her finger.

“Umm...we got here before you,” Fluttershy interjected as her outfit of leaves turned a more gray and dusty color proving that they were already where they needed to be. As she clutched onto the birdcage.

“What how did you two get there?” Twilight said trying to recollect her thoughts from AppleJack’s performance.

“I hitched a ride with Fluttershy and we’ve been over at the entrance of the cave for what felt like forever so we came to see what was keeping all of you!?” Pinkie Pie said smilingly smugly at Applejack and Rainbow Dash. “So what were you all doing hmmm?”

“Well umm, you see umm nothing it was nothing much just a friendly competition.” Applejack and Rainbow Dash said sweating as Pinkie Pie grilled them.

“So nothing going on with anyone?” Pinkie leaned in closer with the biggest mischievous smile on her face.

“Nope, nothing going on here.”

“Well, then you don’t mind.” As Pinkie Pie lifted her pinkies and brought them close to Rainbow Dash and Applejack’s “Pinkie promising.” Applejack and Rainbow Dash started panicking like crazy as they looked at each other.

“Sure after we deal with this dragon.” AppleJack said pushing Pinkie’s hand back towards her as she tried to make a break for it.

“Yep, the dragon that we need to kill let’s go shall we!” As Rainbow Dash does the same.

“Couldn’t agree more!” Both of them make a break for the cave.

{Spike’s Pov}

Buurrppp

Ten trays with crumbs on them and two big barrels of apple-cider and three clear glasses of that held milkshakes “That was absolutely amazing.” Spike said with his head down with Peewee on the table laying on his back with a huge belly as Zecora finished her second herbal tea and berries.

“Stuffing your face like a parasprite, made the morning sun turn to a burning orange light,” Zecora said telling off her two friends as Spike lifted his arm pointing a finger at her and not looking up.

“Look it’s not my fault that everypony here paid for more food just so they could pet Peewee,” Spike replied lifting his head off the table as he puts a huge tip on the table as he grabbed Peewee and placed him in his hood. “Shall we head out?” Spike asked holding his hand out for Zecora’s with a charming smile.

Taking his hand Zecora walked closer and closer to Spike’s face till they both could hear the other’s breathing. “Spike a fine drake you have become,” Zecora said pulling Spike’s hoodie making him come inches away from her mouth as Spike’s heart began beating faster and faster. Closing his eyes and puckering his lips Zecora smiled and went past his lips and whispered in his ear. “Even though you are covered in jelly cherry plum.” Spike snapped back to reality wiping his mouth with his hand only to realize it had already stained his mouth.

“Come on Zecora did you really have to mess with me like that!” Spike said trying to hide his blushing face as his scales turned bright red.

“As bright as a phoenix your scally face has turned a kiss you want well that must be well earned.” Zecora chuckled as she ruffled Spike’s spines like a pony’s mane “Hope this was a magical birthday my dragon friend but do try not to overspend.” As she walked towards the door out of Sugarcube Corner.

Spike jammed his hands into his pockets as he heard Peewee snickering “Hahaha, very funny let’s go home shall we?” As Peewee cooed mimicking exactly what Zecora just said and flew outside. “Ohhh so this is what we’re doing now alright!” Surprised at his friend’s sarcastic sass as he followed him. “Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Cake the food was absolutely delicious.” As he smiled waving his hand unfurling his wings as he chases Peewee down toward their cave. Zipping down different alleyways and going under bridges as the two laughed into the night heading towards the Everfree Forest flying around it as to not draw the attention of the creatures living there. A mischievous grin creeps onto Peewee’s face as he begins to speed up and making a hard left and goes into the Everfree Forest. As the color in Spike’s face goes white “Peewee!!! Nonononono.” Spike starts to panic breathing heavily and does the same trying to keep up with him.

{Mane Six}

“Hey, Twilight darling could you maybe pinch me to see if I’m dreaming because I might be dreaming.” Rarity’s eyes were sparkling as she set her eyes on the thousands of gems that were in front of her.

“If you’re dreaming Rares ay think I’m there too.” Applejack said with eyes entranced by the number of bits more than she ever could imagine.

“This must be everything that fucker stole from the villages he destroyed.” Rainbow Dash said gritting her teeth as her fists were balled up. “If that bastard knows what’s good for him he’ll die slow and painful!” As her breathing became heavier as Twilight placed her hand onto her shoulder.

“Don’t worry everything here will go back to the village hopefully that’ll give them a fresh start,” Twilight said with confidence in her voice as she opened her grimoire as her eyes began to glow pure white as the treasure started to move into the air.

“Even if we give them all of this treasure they won’t be able to rebuild their spirits without their precious phoenix.” Fluttershy began to cry as a soft cooing could be heard in the distance. “That noise it’s a phoenix cry it’s still alive!” Fluttershy scrambled to her feet and grabbed the magical birdcage as she headed outside.

“Fluttershy wait!!!” The rest of the girls except for Twilight moved outside as a fiery streak came bursting out of the forest with a huge smile on his face till he saw a group of unknown visitors. As he tried to stop his flying but not being able to fight a gravitating force as he was pulled into the cage and it shut with many different locks.

“OH, MY CELESTIA we fucking crushed this mission!!!!” Rainbow Dash yelled as she slung her arm around Fluttershy and shook her around. Looking at her pegasus friend she noticed her face was in shock. "Hey, Fluttershy what's wrong…" Turning her head to the forest she saw a terrifying creature with mutilated clothing his mouth covered in blood glaring like a predator stalking its prey. As the beast opened his mouth a spark of green flame in the back of his throat appeared.

"Girls get in formation!" Twilight shouted as the rest of them all pulled out their weapons as Fluttershy flew beside Twilight preparing her bow and arrows. While Twilight began to read her grimoire casting her magic on Fluttershy as she felt an intense power she began to rapidly fired her arrows. Aiming for the dragon's vitals as the seven arrows moved through the air at high velocity. The dragon barely dodged two of the speeding arrows scraping his cheek but ultimately getting pierced by the rest of them. As blood oozed out of his shoulders and chest as he screamed in agonizing pain only to be cut off by the arrow to his windpipe making him fall to his knees. Only to meet the eyes of a smiling mare hitting his lower jaw with a giant metal hammer as the force knocked him into the sky.

"Rainbow Dash Rarity cut off any escape he has," Twilight said as Rainbow Dash flew into the night sky grabbing Rarity's hand cutting through the cool night air. Meeting the dragon falling towards them Rainbow Dash threw Rarity on the other side of him. As Rarity illuminated her rapier along with Rainbow's broadsword they cut through the hard skeleton bone of the dragon's wings. Blood falling all over the two as Rainbow Dash did a U-turn grabbing Rarity's hand once again.

"Make sure this bastard goes straight to Tartarus AJ!!" Rainbow yelled as she looked at Applejack lifting her hat and cracking her whip. As the bloody beaten up dragon was in her line of sight she threw her whip in the air wrapping around the dragon's entire body. Applejack then pushed a button on the handle as tiny blades came out climbing fast. Stabbing him all over as she yanked him to the ground head first as a cloud of dust filled the air.

Rainbow Dash and Rarity regrouped with the others as they made their way to the dead body covered in blood. "That was easier than I thought it would be?" Rainbow Dash said spitting at the dead corpse.

"Fluttershy how's the phoenix doing" Rarity looked back at her teammate seeing she was still clutching tightly to the cage.

"He seems to have fallen asleep so that good." Fluttershy smiled as she sighed with relieve looking down at the dead dragon. gulp "What...do..we do with that?" Fluttershy asked trying not to make any eye contact with it.

"Girls let's drag this dragon back to Canterlot so the villagers can have some peace of mind." Twilight suggested as she lit her horn and surrounded the dragon with her aura levitating him off the ground. As the rest of the girls followed her back to the ruins.
