Chapter 1: Waking up in another World

It had been many days since the incident of the fallen star as the residents of Canterlot were in an uproar some were wondering what it was while some were wondering if it was attack by an unknown threat. Princess Celestia was able to calm them down and explained that the impact from that night was a fallen star and nothing more, however she did leave out the part of the grey-haired human to not raise too much suspicion for she believed it was too soon to reveal the human’s existence to her ponies. And to not cause a panic since this will be the first time her ponies will see a human after 1000 years and hoped that things will go smoothly for the human. Speaking of the human, he is still asleep in the royal infirmary, but to the surprise of the doctors and nurses his injuries seem to be healing at a faster rate which the doctors found it unbelievable. Dr. Scrubs has been examining the human every day since then but is unable to explain how this was possible; the time it would take to recover from broken bones would take maybe 3 to 4 months, but this human was healing in just a few days.

“Are you certain of this Doctor Scrubs?” asked the princess of the sun as she along with the doctor were in the throne room as the doctor was holding various documents of the patient’s rapid recovery.

“Indeed, your majesty. Every day I have been looking over the patient’s injuries and so far, each day his body begins to heal in a rapid pace. I first noticed after the third day his ribs were completely healed than on the sixth day the cuts on his body began to fade and the gash on his gut is completely sealed. Normally this would have taken some time to heal but this is beyond me your highness.” Said the doctor who was in complete disbelief at the patient’s recovery as the princess was also shocked, but also curious it was then that the doors to the throne room open as a familiar captain of the guard and two other ponies enter the scene as they each saluted. Shining was in the middle as the mare on his left was a yellow skinned female with orange and yellow spiked hair like fire wearing a blue skintight body suit with yellow designs in the shape of lightning bolts, circular googles hanging around her neck, a pair of pony eyes and wings behind her back along with a tail and hooves instead of feet.

Note: this was all I could find of her.

On Shining’s right side was a dark grey skinned female with a blue hair wrapped in a ponytail wearing brown light leather armor with black boots with metal shin guards and bracelets and a single shoulder guard on her left arm. Though what stood out the most was her bat like appearance as she had bat ears, wings, and blue eyes with slits in the middle, but still has hooves instead of feet and is carrying a small sword on her left side and a few daggers strapped to her thigh. Soon a guard approaches and begins to announce them; “Presenting the following ponies Spitfire captain of the Wonderbolts, Shining Armor captain of the Royal Guard, and captain Blade Dancer of the Equestrian Rogues.” The Princess nods at the guard as he turns and exits the room as the doors to the throne room close as the captains and sergeant laid their hands down and stood a more relaxed stance as the princess rises from her throne and walks over to them as the doctor followed her as she stood before the three.

“I thank you 3 for coming today for there is something that I wish to discuss with you three.” She says as the three ponies looked at one another facing the princess again to which Spitfire came forward.

“I’m guessing that it has something to do with the red star that came crashing down in the castle gardens days ago?” said Spitfire to which the princess nodded as Shining then spoke up;

“Wait I thought that incident was covered up?” he asked as Princess nodded toward hims

“It was captain Armor; however, I wish to explain exactly what came falling down to the castle gardens that day. But before I continue are you three familiar of the name Crimson Star? Said the princess as the three looked at each other once again in confusion as Dancer soon stepped forward.

“Crimson Star the legendary hero who aided in the creation of our nation and fought for us during our many battles. But what does an old legend have to do with what came crashing down in the gardens?” Asked Blade Dancer as Celestia looked at them with a serious which caught 3 off guard as they stood up straight by impulse as the princess sighed and was looking out the window.

“That thing that came crashing down was a human one that bares the same resemblance as Crimson Star. For he has finally returned.” Said the princess to which the three ponies were slacked jawed as Spitfire spoke up.

“Wait, but I thought Crimson Star died during the fight against Nightmare Moon how is he still alive?” The incident was then played back in Celestia’s mind as she recalled that very day when Crimson fought against Nightmare Moon the blows they delivered to each other as they fought to their last breath as Celestia gathered the elements of Harmony and how Crimson took a hit that was meant for her and how after sending Nightmare to the moon Celestia was holding onto a dying Crimson in her arms. As the memory faded, she shakes her head as she looked to back to her ponies who were still shocked at the possible return of Crimson Star.

“You are correct Dancer, Crimson Star did die during the battle against Nightmare Moon, but before he died, he told something in his dying breath something that I at the time did not understand, until now. He told me not to cry for he will return, but not as what he was before, but as someone far greater than he could ever be, and I believe that the human who fell in the form of a shooting star is him and is currently resting in the infirmary.

“She is right.” Said Shining Armor as the other two looked at him still in disbelief to which Shining continued; “I was there when it happened, and when I saw his face, I knew he had to be related to Crimson Star somehow.

“But that’s still impossible Crimson Star was many things, but he wasn’t capable of rising from the grave.” Said Spitfire who was in denial at all of this to which Blade Dancer stepped with her response.

“It’s possible that this human is a descendant of Crimson Star one that was kept secret from us and from you as well your majesty.” Celestia nodded as knowing that it is possible as she lifted her hand silencing both Shining and Spitfire who were still debating on the whole thing as they faced.

“As of right now the human resting in the infirmary and will be waking up very soon and once that happens, he will need to regain some of his strength which is I am having you 3 train him back to full strength. I believe his arrival may be a sign of things to come and if he is like Crimson Star, he may aid us in our time of need and until then he needs to get stronger.” Said the princess as the 3 captains looked at each other before looking at their ruler. Celestia knew what his arrival could mean she could sense the spell keeping Nightmare Moon imprisoned was growing weak, but she had a plan for it and maybe the human will aid in said plan.

“Umm… Your majesty withal due respect humans don’t have the ability fly like the Pegasus.” Said Spitfire as Shining Armor continued with his response.

“Not to mention the inability to use magic without a horn like the unicorns.” He said not sure about the whole thing.

Blade Dancer rolled her eyes at this as Celestia was aware of their words as she responded, “I am aware of this, but let me remind you that you each possess other skills that could benefit him since Crimson was skilled in other forms of combat than magic or flight. Shining your skills in tactics and ground combat will aid in regaining his strength, Spitfire your skills in hand-to-hand combat will aid in regaining his speed, and Dancer your skills in the blade will aid in regaining his sword skills. But if you’re not interested than it is fine the reason why I asked you all here to know if you’re interested in training our new human visitor and if you’re not then you don’t have too its your choice.”

For a moment the three were silent as they were not sure about this on one hand, they had to deal with keeping their men in line, but they would be lying if the idea of training a descendant of Crimson Star hadn’t cross their minds as Spitfire and Dancer were very interested while shining was still undecided.

“Ah what the heck it might be interesting especially if he is as cute as what the others in the barracks have been talking about.” Said Spitfire as Dancer rolled her eyes at her and said her part; “If he is as skilled as his predecessor, he may be a worthy swordsman in the future and a great ally to our troops.”

The two were still looking at Shining as he was still on the fence here, he then sighs and looks toward the princess with a determined look. “I will do my part as well your highness I won’t let you down. Plus having another male soldier beside might be nice in the long run.” He said the last part to himself as the three saluted as Celestia smiled at their response.

However, the moment was soon interrupted when a royal guard came storming into the room as he stops before the princess as he tries to talk but was panting heavily as he tries to breath. Before Celestia could ask what was wrong the guard then said something that had everyone go wide eyed; “Your majesty he is awake.”

We now go to the royal infirmary where the human was residing as he laid peacefully on the bed as his eyes began to slowly open his vision was blurry for the moment before going clear. He then proceeds to sit up a little disoriented as he looks around wondering where he was and what was going on and it was not until a nurse came into the room with a clip board in hand and upon seeing the human sitting up and fully awake proceeded to drop the clip board and runs off. The human was not sure what that was all about as he removes the covers over his legs as he proceeds to sit on the edge of the bed but before he could get up a headache began to form as the human was clutching the sides of his head as the pain intensified for a while before fading. It was then that the princess, the 3 captains, and Dr. Scrubs came barging in the room as the human looks over to them tilting his head in confusion at the sight of them. Without warning Celestia lunges at him in a loving hug to the surprise his captain as the doctor shakes his head as the princess was shedding tears of joy as she continued to hug the human in a tight hug. The human on the other hand did not know why but proceeded to hug the white alicorn back as he forms a small smile at the warm embrace.

“Welcome home dear brother.” Said Celestia as she held onto the human for a short time. Sadly, their moment had to end as Dr. Scrubs came close to them.

“Excuse me your majesty but I need to examine our human guest to see if he is completely fine.” Said the doctor as Celestia was reluctant to let him go, but knew she had to comply to the doctors’ orders as she lets him go and moves aside as the doctor approaches the human as he stands next him.

“How do you feel?” Asked the doctor as the human tilts his head, but answers.

“Fine I think.” Says the human with a raspy voice as this surprised the others in the room as they did not expect to hear him speak and in equish no less. The doctor then pulls out his note pad and begins to jot down notes.

“Do you remember anything? Anything at all?” Asked the doctor as the human tries to remember anything only for nothing to appear within his thoughts, but just then a painful migraine came in as the human was clutching onto his head as he groaned in pain. This alerted the doctor and Celestia as they got close to him as the human continued to groan.

“Are you alright dear?” asked a concerned Celestia as the human slowly regained his focus as he looks back to them as he let out a sigh of relief.

“Take it easy there, it’s probably the effects of the coma along with the other injuries you sustained. Honestly, I am surprised that you even woke up.” Said the Doctor as the human nodded, just then something does pop into his mind as it felt strangely familiar to him.

“I do remember something.” Said the human as everyone in the room were now paying attention to him. “My name. I think my name is…. Dayman.

This surprised the ponies within the room as Dayman starts to get a good look at each of them making him tilt his head in wonder.

“Who and what are all of you? Where exactly am I?” Asked the human as the captains and the doctor were not sure how to answer him as they were unsure if the human would react well by their answer. Celestia being the regal ruler she is took the initiative as she cleared her throat gaining the attention of her ponies and the human.

“To answer your question, we are called ponies and you are currently in the royal infirmary after being in a coma for many days now. “My name is Princess Celestia, the three beside me are my captains Shining Armor, Spitfire, and Blade Dancer, and the one examining you is Dr. Scrubs.” She answered as ones mentioned nodded at the human who then asked another question. “You called me brother. Am I related to you?”

Celestia did not expect to be asked this but was able to keep her cool and answered truthfully. “In a way you are especially since you carry a striking resemblance to Crimson Star. Though I do apologize for hugging you so suddenly you just remind me so much of him.”

Dayman was about to ask another but was stopped as the princess raised her hand. “I understand that you have a lot of questions dear, and you will receive your answers in due time, but you need to relax after all you did wake up from a coma.” She said almost like a mother telling her child to rest up after being badly hurt as Dayman nods at this as Celestia smiles and proceeds to hug him again. “Welcome to Equestria my little human.” Said the princess.

Sorry for the long wait but this was a headache to come up with hope you guys like it and will see you in the chapter

Update just fixed some stuff here and I apologize in advance for it. Some parts will be explained as I wish to reveal certain parts in future chapters.

update 3/12/2021 added some more stuff to end the chapter and introduce the next chapter.
