Flight Of Moonstone

Ruby gasp as she watches Luna and Fleur De Lis life and marriage of seventy-six loving years through her eyes. She starts to tear up as she felt Luna`s magic unclasps the pendant from Ruby neck and puts it around her elegant blue neck.

“Luna…” Ruby smiled at the Princess of the night happily with tears running down her cream-colored face as well as a wet spot spreading out upon the bed coming from her still rather sore neither region “Thank you for showing me.”

Ruby then leaned into Luna wrapping her hooves around the princess in a warming embrace. Luna eyes widen up at the sudden affection as she gently hugs ruby back and opened her mouth to say something as she looks down at a sleeping ruby which brings a smile to the princess face

‘Just like you Fleur, and I`ve been keeping my promise to you.’ The thought of Fleur brings a tear to Luna cyan eye. She wipes it away with her hoof before it could stain her face as she felt her chest ache for her past lover. She looks out into the night sky and smiles and then back at Ruby. She carefully unwraps the cream-colored pegasus from her midnight blue coat. Her magic ignites lifting the bedsheets off the bed and down a hamper chute as Luna magic opens up a drawer and puts fresh linen for Ruby to sleep on. She then tucks ruby into the fresh made bed and kisses her on the forehead which of course made Ruby smile softly in her sleep.

Sunlight streaks over Rubys face as she rolls over to her other side not wanting to get out of the nice warm bed. She soon yields to the undesirable task of getting up after tossing and turning but somehow, she did manage to sleep better in this bed than the one at her apartment. Ruby then opens up her amber eyes and looks around the Princesss room, and notice a letter on the nightstand addressed to her in elegant cursive.

‘Dear Ruby I hope you slept well last night. I have some meetings that I have to attend. I suggest you take a nice long bath before you leave, since you have to work today and expect a surprise during it. You don’t want to be smelling like sweat and sex~. Another thing please fly out from the balcony below to avoid any prying eye.

Ruby crumbles up the note furiously with her hooves and tosses it onto the bed. ‘You just had to remind me of my work and on top of that you didn’t even gave a date for our next session. Well at least you gave me permission to use your bathroom.’

Ruby stiffly gets up and stretches her aching wins some of her cream-colored feather fall out onto the dark blue bed as she makes her way to the huge bathroom. Her eyes widen at the size of the in-ground tub and the assortments of oils, conditioners and mane products.

‘Jeez even I don’t have that much beauty products for my body or mane and tail’

Ruby opted for a shower since that would be the quickest and easiest. She then starts heading forward what she thought was the shower but to her surprise it was many shower head at odd angles.

‘I`ll have to ask Luna about that next time we meet. Where is your shower Luna?’

Ruby mind wondered about the multiple showerheads as she wanders farther into the bathroom and finally founds the shower that she is use to back at her apartment. She turns on the hot shower nob first to let the water warm up as she goes back to the assortments of beauty products and starts browsing them.

‘Arora star, Midnight Beauty, Wildflower Meadows, Cloudy Rainfall…’ Ruby grabs the Wildflower Meadows soap and the Cloudy Rainfall shampoo and tucks them into her wings as she walks back to a steaming hot shower now. Ruby then goes about adjusting the water temperature through the shower knows being careful not to get her wings to get touch by the water as she adjusts it to her desired temperature. She slowly steps into the shower letting the slightly scalding water over her body and wings letting her aching muscles starting to relax. She then spreads her wings groaning and grimacing

‘Perhaps a break is in order. I don’t think my body or wings could handle another one of Luna`s session. I should also let her know about my wings’

Ruby starts scrubbing her mane and tail thoroughly with the shampoo and rinses it through and off. She then grabs the soap with her feather and lathers up a gray bath loofah tied onto a wooden handle and starts scrubbing her body with her wings the areas that she could reach. She then grabs the handle with her hooves and sits down on her flanks and unties the loofah with difficulty and starts scrubbing her forelegs and chest. She gasps and moans as she gently scrubs her mare hood and clit. Her face and chest soon become heated and flushed as she keeps on scrubbing.

“Luna~”

Ruby gently bites her lower lips and turns the crystal shower handle which makes the steaming hot water to ice cold running down her body. She slowly stands up and raises her tail and sighs contently as it runs down her sore mare hood. As Rose steps out, she realizes that she forgets the towels. As she starts looking through the cabinets her coat starts to become completely dry unlike her mane which starts to fizz up and Rose sighs annoyed as she just finds the black pristine towels neatly folded in the last cabinet that she checks. She grabs one with a hoof and finishes drying her cream-colored coat off and her eyes sparkles up as she see a full bottle of heavy duty fizz tamer and starts spraying into her mane and tail as she remembers where she saw the combs and brushes hanging on a wall next to a full body mirror. She grabs a black comb and a brush with a black handle as well from the white hooks. As she sprays more fizz tamer into her mane she grits her teeth in pain as the comb that she was using brushes the knots in it out and after about ten minutes of just using the comb her crimson and mauve mane was back to its signature wavy style as she starts brushing her tail with the brush, the bristles straitening out her tail quickly, as she learned to use the comb on it at a very young age when she was living with her parents.

Ruby shivers as the memory came back to her as she continues to brush her tail. Ruby was flying through the rain as it was not raining hard enough to cancel school as she struggled to fly home up above the dark relenting clouds. The raindrops pelting into her coat and mane. She finally makes it home alone dripping water from her body her mane sticking to her face as she blindly makes her way towards the bathroom and blindly reaches for brush and a comb. She uses her hooves to brush her mane away from her face.

“This doesn’t feel like how mama does it but it is getting the work done”

Ruby then grabs the comb and runs it through her tail quickly and yells in pain as a thunder clap happens below her. Tears starts streaming down her face as she looks at the comb which had a huge clump of her tail stuck between the teeth of it as she looks at her tail in horror instead of being straight and long it was now thinner and a little bit shorter as she cries learning her valuable lesson that she will never forget.

Ruby comes out from her memory and looks at herself in the mirror with her amber colored eyes as both her crimson and mauve mane and tail back to its signature wavy style and her cream-colored coat cleaned from the long session from last night. Ruby smiles pleased with the way she looks makes her way back to the bedroom and looks at the crumpled note on the ground and pick it up and rereads it

“I hate past self for crumpling Luna`s note up”

She thoughts as she pick the note up and looks for the saddle bag that Luna has lended to her and tucks the note inside a pocket without checking what is inside the bag first as she puts it onto her back making sure her wings can still flap with the saddle bag on her body. Ruby then heads to the lift and rides it down to the balcony below to the terrace and balcony following Luna`s direction as she takes off from the balcony a few of her feathers dropping onto the floor as she takes to the sky. A pony with a horn and wings watches Ruby leave unbeknownst to her as the pony picks up the feather and watches Ruby fly away from the castle
