Vintavia Scralody Season 4

Octavia is at hers and Vinyl’s house during the night as she is sitting at her desk trying to think of a song to write. She looks at the clock and then she bangs her head on the table in frustration.

Vinyl suddenly bursts open the door (with her bass cannon next to her) startling Octavia as she fell off her chair. The earth pony glares at the unicorn who sheepishly smiles. She sets down her equipment on the floor gently with her magic. Octavia found a CD on the floor as she picks it up and it reveals a song by Drake called “hold on, we’re going home”. This surprises her and Vinyl giving Octavia an idea.

She goes to their room and picks up her violin and rushes back to the living room telling her marefriend that they could make a cover like this, to which Vinyl agrees.

They head outside with the music equipment they need and they start playing the cover. They are suddenly transported to a minecraft dimension while they are still playing.

As the song ends. It was revealed to be a music video from Vinyls phone as she and Octavia slow it to Lyra, Bonbon, and Minuette. They are all in ponyville.

“Wow! That was amazing!” Exclaimed Lyra in excitement, how do you guys do it?

“It wasn’t that easy.” Said Vinyl as she pulls out their CD of their cover.

“We had to combine every part of the cover we did, we couldn’t do it at the same time.” Added Octavia.

“So, if you two win the contest, they'll make this here into a real song?” Asked Bonbon.

“And we’ll meet other celebrities, like Feather Bangs…” Began Octavia.

“…Coloratura…” Added Vinyl.

“...And Songbird Serenade!” Said the pair sighing with happiness.

“Well, I think your Song’s totally gonna win.” Said Minuette as Lyra and Bonbon chattered in agreement.

Svengallop appears as he sneaks up towards Vinyl and Octavia as he grabs the Disc away from them.

“Scratch! Melody! What is the meaning of this? Music is supposed to be inspiring, not degenerate fantasies! This trash belongs to me now!” Said The stallion in a stern look as he starts to leave.

“But Svengallop, you can't take our song!” Exclaimed Vinyl.

“Oh, and now you two are giving me sass? That's punishment! Today! Till 5:00!” Growled Svengallop.

“But we have to get to the office by 4:00! That's the contest deadline!” Exclaimed Octavia.

“Oh, I didn't realize. I'll just give it back to you.” Said The male pony sarcastically before going back to serious. “NOT!” He yelled making Vinyl and Octavia jump as he walked away. The pair looked at each other worried.

Vinyl, Octavia, and Svengallop are at the recording studio at the stallions office. It is a mess.

“I've got just the thing to keep those doodling hooves of yours busy: cleaning my office.” Said Svengallop as he gives the girls the brooms and leaves.

Vinyl throws the brooms aside. “But we're not criminals. All we did was make a music video. And we're getting it back.” She tries to open the door but can't. “Darn it. He locked us in from the outside.”

Vinyl and Octavia try to get out via the window, but Svengallop stops them by welding it shut. He snarls while the duo starts sweeping the floors nervously.

Vinyl throws the brooms away. “Okay, Plan B. We'll sharpen a bunch of pencils and dig our way out.”

Just then, the door opens to show it's Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon.

“Or I could just pick the lock. “Not that your idea wasn't great.” Said Diamond twirling her tiara and puts it back on.

“Diamond Tiara? Silver Spoon? Why are you guys busting us out?” Asked Vinyl looking confused.

“Cause we heard about Svengallop confiscating your Album.” Silver replied. “We saw it, and it was amazing.”

“You think we're gonna let some power-tripping manager take away your chance to get famous?” Said Diamond.

Vinyl and Octavia glanced at each other and then back at the fillies.

“For someone who makes fun of the cutie mark crusaders, that is a huge compliment.” Said Vinyl looking impressed as Octavia nodded in agreement. “Let’s move!”

The four mares head out the front door of the recording studio. They see Svengallop leave in a carriage.

“How are we gonna catch up to him?” Asked Vinyl Looking worried.

“It's taken care of.” Replied Silver.

A Van pulls over revealing the mane 6 with Applejack Doing the Driving.

“Quick! Y’all jump in!” Called AJ as the 4 ponies hopped in.

“Svengallop has the album. Follow that carriage!” Exclaimed Vinyl.

Applejack, with determination in her eyes, steps on the gas pedal and chases after Svengallop.

Svengallop is at his carriage talking with someone on the phone.

“I’m headed somewhere for the day. You can let Scratch and Melody out of my office at 5:00, but only if the room is clean.”

He is then cut off by a honking horn behind him. It is revealed to be the Van that Applejack is now driving.

Both the carriage and the van arrive at the office as Vinyl and Octavia got out of it.

“Thanks for the lift.” Said Vinyl.

“Just hurry up and get famous!” Said Diamond smiling.

Vinyl and Octavia head inside and run up to the mailing window.

“This needs to be mailed by four o'clock!” Said Vinyl and Octavia at the same time as someone else. They turn around that the other mare is Svengallop.

“What are you doing here?!” All three said looking shocked.

The stallion dropped a random CD on the floor.

“Is that an album?” Asked Vinyl pointing at. She and Octavia glare at Svengallop.

“A what? No! I mean, shouldn't you girls be cleaning my office?” Said the male pony as Vinyl picks the album up with her magic.

“It is an album!” Exclaimed Octavia as she and Vinyl read the title. “Countess Coloratura - The Spectacle by Svengallop”. She and Vinyl gasp. “You’re entering the music video contest?”

“Look! New commemorative stamps!” Said the stallion Distractingly pointing behind them.

When the girls have their backs turned, Svengallop grabs the CD and runs only to trip and fall as Vinyl and Octavia run towards him.

“So, that's why you confiscated our Album and put us in your office: to knock us out of the running!” Scolded Vinyl.

“Okay, okay, I did it. But I had to. When I heard how great your song was, I knew mine wouldn't stand a chance.” Svengallop Confessed.

“But, sir, why is a contest like this so important to you? You're a successful manager. You've got your own carriage.” Said Octavia reasoning with the male pony.

“Yes, it's true. I have it all. But it wasn't always this way. When I was your age, I didn't have a lot of friends. But I had music. Music meant the world to me. I wanted to win the contest so I could meet other celebrities and thank them for getting me through a lonely childhood. But I went too far. I'm sorry, girls. You deserve to win, not me.” Sighed Svengallop as he takes his CD and leaves shamefully.

Vinyl and Octavia look at each other in disappointment.

“I mean, don’t condone what he just did. But I’m glad he confessed.” Said Octavia.

Svengallop is on his carriage ready to leave. But The two mares stop him.

“Svengallop! Wait!” They called.

“Oh, yes. Of course. You'll need my administrator ID to report me to the studio.” Said Svengallop looking sad.

“No. We're not reporting anyone. Tavi and I get it. Music has gotten us through some tough times, too.” Said the unicorn.

“Like that time when me and Vinyl’s friendship was nearly over. It was a terrible thing that happened to us.” Added Octavia.

“And we’re not mad.” Grinned Vinyl.

“But we gotta hurry, We only have a minute.” Said Octavia looking at her phone.

“I think I can buy you girls a few minutes.” Grinned Svengallop as he walks back at the office as he walks up toward the the mailing window where the lady there pulls the curtain down.”

“I’m sorry sir we’re closed.” Said the lady.

Svengallop pulls the curtain back up as he began to whisper something in her ear to which the lady agrees. Vinyl and Octavia hoof bump each in victory.

Vinyl, Octavia, Svengallop, and celebrities were at a panel at a convention on the stage as the audience started to watch Vinyl and Octavia’s music video.

Time had passed and the music was done. Every pony started stomping their hooves while cheering.

“I love the Video! Especially when you guys were transported to a minecraft biome.” Said Feather Bangs.

“I’ve seen a lot of entries with great sequences, but none with this kind of heart.” Said Coloratura.

“Thanks for your support.” Said Vinyl smiling.

“You should meet Svengallop, he really wanted to see you all here.” Said Octavia.

“Guys, it is an honor. I just never-ah, this is the best day of my-” Said Svengallop as he passes out from the excitement.

Vinyl and Octavia Shrug it off. The audience starts gathering around the musical duo talking to them.

“Hey Vinyl?”

“Yeah?”

“Doesn’t this seem familiar?”

“Just go with it Octavia.”
