Vintavia Scralody Season 4

The Canterlot High bell rings, signaling the end of the day. Vinyl and Octavia are at their lockers when they hear some of their classmates talking, Revealing Trixie (A unicorn with a pale blue mane and a blue coat), Snips (a Unicorn filly with a dark orange mane and a grayish coat), and Snails (a Unicorn with a golden colored coat and a greenish mane).

“I hear the screams are so loud, you can't even hear yourself scream.” Said Snips.

“I hear it's so scary, they give you diapers before you go in.” Said Snails.

“I hear a deranged clown chases you with barbecue tongs.” Said Trixie before Vinyl and Octavia start approaching them.

“What are you guys talking about?” Asked Vinyl curiously.

“The Canterlot House of Terror just opened up for the season and we're finally old enough to go.” Said Snails as he pulls out the brochure for it. “Check it out, zombies, vampires, mutants, all waiting to pounce on you the minute you step inside.”

Trixie cover the brochure with her hoof to interrupt snails. “Snails, don't bother telling them about it, they'll never go. Everyone knows they're the biggest chickens in our school.” Said Trixie staring at Vinyl and Octavia sinisterly.

“Oh yeah?! Then how come we already got tickets to it, Trixie.” Said Vinyl Defensively.

“We did?” Asked Octavia before Vinyl nudges her, now nervous. “Oh, right, we did, I totally forgot, because I'm so excited, and not at all terrified.”

Octavia gives a nervous chuckle until a book falls over in Vinyl’s locker, startling the two mares to scream and hold on to each other. They realize what they are doing and regain cool postures.

“Oh, really? When are you going?” Asked Trixie Smugly.

“Uh, tomorrow night.” Answered Vinyl with sweat on her face from being nervous.

Trixie looks at Snips and Snails before back at the musical duo. “Cool. Then we'll get our tickets for tomorrow night too. That way, we can all go together.” She chuckles.

“Great. Looking forward to it.” Said Octavia feigning excitement.

“I'll bet you are.” Said Trixie as she folds the brochure into a paper airplane and throws it at Octavia’s hair as She, Snips, and Snails leave.

“Oh man! What did we just do? How are we gonna get through the House of Terror?” Vinyl said freaking out.

Octavia grabs onto Vinyl’s Shoulders. “I won't even get up to take a shower at night if my Cello lamp isn't on.” She said as she breathes into a paper bag.

“Wait...I Got an idea.” Said Vinyl as she plucks the brochure airplane out of Octavia’s hair. “Maybe we can toughen ourselves up before tomorrow night, so we'll be able to handle the House of Terror, and I know who can help us.” She puts her hoof around Octavia’s neck and the gray mare sighs in relief.

At Vinyl and Octavia’s House, it's revealed that they have the mane 6 and Maud Pie with them as Vinyl explains the situation to the group.

“So, what do you say? Are you up for scaring the daylights out of us?” Asked Vinyl as they all cheer in response.

“Maud, you're the expert. What do you suggest?” Asked Twilight.

“I've got a few ideas.” Said Maud as she smiles.

Cut to Vinyl and Octavia’s room where Maud knocks on their door.

“We're ready, Girls.” She called.

“We can do this.” Said Vinyl confidently.

“Indeed.” Agreed Octavia.

Vinyl and Octavia glance at each other before hoof bumping each other. “Vintavia Scralody!” They cried.

Suddenly, the lights in the room go out and a red light illumines in front of them. They gasp glance at each other in fear and Vinyl opens his door, scared, same with Octavia. They step out and the hallway is shown to be dark as well with red lights coming from the walls.

“Uh...it doesn't look so bad.” Said Vinyl sheepishly.

The duo smile nervously at each other before walking down the hallway. Unbeknownst to them, a huge shadow appears on the wall behind them. As they keep walking, two hooves grab the girls' shoulders.

“Thanks for the encouraging pat, buddy.” Said the DJ.

“You too.” Replied the Cellist.

“That's not me…” They said in unison as they realize they’re not touching each other.

The pair look at their hooves before turning around to see a giant hooded figure standing right behind them, Revealing the mane 6 and Maud Pie as they pop their heads and let out a giant “BOO”. Vinyl and Octavia freak out, run right into the walls, and in a daze, pass out on to the floor. The girls take the hood off, and see that this wasn't one of their better ideas. At the living room on the couch, The two girls are now in a blanket, shaking terrified while holding each other in their embrace and Maud approaches them.

“This is my fault. I gave you too much fright too soon.” Said Maud looking guilty.

“It's okay.” Said Vinyl as her voice started Vibrating.

“You meant well.” Said Octavia as her voice also started Vibrating.

“We'll dial the scares back a little for round two.” Said Maud as the musical duo nodded their heads.

Later, Vinyl and Octavia meet up with Maud, who is on the couch, for the second round.

“Ok Maud, we're ready to try again.” Said Vinyl.

“What have you got for us?” Asked Octavia.

“Actually, I just ordered you two a pizza.” Said Maud as the doorbell rings “Oh, and there it is.”

“Pizza? Not afraid of that.” Said Octavia confidently.

“Me neither.” Agreed Vinyl.

“Puh-puh-puh-pizza!” Chanted the Two mares as they dashed towards the door, They laugh but when Vinyl answers the door, it's actually revealed to be Rainbow Dash in her masked killer costume with a chainsaw. The pair scream, run around, hit their heads on the doorway of the dining room, and fall down; heads spinning.

“Huh. Too much?” Said Rainbow as She and Maud look at them while Dash lifts her mask.

Cut to the two mares back in their blanket, this time with Rainbow Dash on the couch.

“Sorry. I'll dial it back some more.” Said Maud.

Later, Vinyl, Octavia, and Maud approach Vinyl and Octavia’s room.

“You girls better now?” Asked Maud as The two mares nod their heads."Okay, let's try this again.” She Opens the door and gestures the girls in.

The room is shown to be pitch black, and Twilight emerges.

“Vinyl. Octavia. I'm glad you're here. I have a bone to pick with you.” Said the alicorn as The pair look at each other confused before Twilight continued. “Or should I say, two-hundred and six bones.” She pushes a button and a giant plastic skeleton drops down. The girls freak out again, run into the doorframe, and are knocked out again. Maud sighs at this.

Later, the three mares are outside the basement.

“Here's an easy one, all you have to do is go down in the basement.” Ordered Maud.

“We can definitely do this.” Said Vinyl as Maud opens the door and the girls step up. “Though it sure is dark down there.”

The pair quietly go downstairs, until they step on a squeaky stair. They panic, run back up, and slide facedown across the kitchen floor, Octavia sliding right out the kitchen. Maud Sighs again.

They are back at Vinyl and Octavia’s room, but there’s a coffin right in front of them.

“All you have to do is go in your room and open the coffin.” Said Maud.

“Brightly lit empty room. We got this one.” Said Octavia confidently.

The duo step inside and approach the coffin. Octavia opens it and to their discover, it appears to be empty.

“It’s empty.” Octavia wiped her forehead with her hoof in relief..

“Phew. That wasn't so bad.” Vinyl sighed with relief.

“I knew you could do it.” Said maud offscreen.

The pair turn around and Maud is right in front of them, causing them to scream and fall back inside the coffin, which collapses on the floor. And it's back to the blanket they go.

“Okay, even less scary. Got it.” Maud sighed.

Pinkie Pie enters the scene dressed like a wolf and howls, which causes the duo to scream again, having the couch fall backwards.

“Pinkie Pie, wrong time to break out your new wolf costume.” Said Maud to her sister.

The pair are still wrapped in a blanket, holding each other quivering, and Maud has officially given up as she sighed. Just then, Sunset Shimmer and Flash Sentry walk in.

“Hey guys.” Said Sunset in unison with Flash.

“What's the word.” Said Flash in unison with Sunset.

Maud, Vinyl, and Octavia greet them.

“Uh, why are you wrapped in a blanket? And why are you holding on to each other?” Asked Sunset with concern.

“Maud has been trying to prepare us to go to the House of Terror tonight.” Vinyl Explained.

“We told some classmates we'd meet them there, and we don't wanna look like chickens.” Added Octavia.

“Guys, I worked at the House of Terror a few seasons ago, I used to haul people to the first aid tent when they passed out.” Said Flash.

“Passed out?” Said Octavia looking shocked.

“Yeah, I'd just throw 'em in the wheelbarrow.” Said Flash.

“Wheelbarrow.” Repeated Vinyl looking Shocked.

“Tell you what, why don't I call and see if any of my friends still work there. I'm sure they'd let us take a tour of the place with all the lights on. Maybe that would help make you less scared.” Flash suggested.

“That’d be awesome.” Said the duo looking excited.

Vinyl, Octavia, and Flash later arrive at the House of Terror.

“This place doesn't look so bad, Octy.” Grinned Vinyl.

“Yeah, we got this.” Octavia Agreed as a squirrel scampers next to her and offers a high five. “Why hello there, Mr. Squirrel, hoof bump.” She hoof bumps the squirrel. “Boop.”

The squirrel scampers off and Flash puts his hooves on the Girls' shoulders.

“You guys ready for the tour?” Said Flash before The two scream once again and collapse to the floor.

“We gotta stop doing that.” Said Octavia as she and Vinyl get up from the floor.

The three of them walk up to the entrance and Flash winks at them and they nervously wink back. The doors open and Vinyl and Octavia look around.

“You can do this, fellas. There's nothing to be afraid of.” Said Flash grinning.

They head inside and the two mares look around again. Octavia bumps into Vinyl from behind and a spider web drops down from below them.

“SPIDER WEBS!” They shouted as they held onto each other.

“Check it. They’re just string.” Said Flash as he pulls them back up.

“Huh.” Said the two mares as they continued walking.

They continue on and three papier-mâché bats drop down with its wings flapping in front of the two mares, startling them.

“They're just papier-mâché.” Said Flash as They continue again, Vinyl and Octavia are still nervous. Flash holds a trucker's head over his face. “Styrofoam.” Blood oozes from the wall. “Food coloring.” A mummy. “Toilet paper.” The pegasus pulls some off and goes in the bathroom, and the mummy statue is revealed to be quite handsome. A pile of guts lands at the girls’ legs, and Flash shows them the bucket it came from. “Yogurt with fruit mixed in.” He tastes it, and Vinyl and Octavia look at each other and are looking better. They walk past a broken piano. “See? It's all special effects.”

“I guess you're right.” Vinyl admitted, Suddenly, smoke shoots out from the piano and a deranged clown with barbecue tongs drops down, causing the two mares to scream in terror. “That's not!” She Exclaimed.

The clown takes of her masks, revealing Ms. Harshwhinny, an earth pony with a light gold mane and an orange coat.

“No, it's just Ms. Harshwhinny, my old history teacher. Hey, Mrs. H.” Flash Greeted her.

“Flash, what a nice surprise. What brings you back to Canterlot?” Asked the teacher.

“Just giving my friends a tour.” Replied Flash.

“Hello.” Said the orange mare greeting Vinyl and Octavia.

“Hello.” The pair greeted back as the three walk off.

They continue down the hall, when suddenly a zombie comes snarling out from a dark room, Vinyl and Octavia freak out again.

“Relax, that's just Spitfire, the wonderbolts leader, she likes jobs where she can be tough on her students.” Said Flash as Spitfire takes the head off, blows her whistle, and gestures for the duo to pass.

“Oh, thank you ma’am.” Said Octavia as they walk off once again.

They continue, and finally, Flash moves a curtain aside revealing another door that reads 'BAIL OUT'.

"And finally, this is what we in the haunted house biz call a 'bail out' door.” Said Flash as he opens the door revealing sunshine, Vinyl and Octavia step out. “Things get too scary tonight, you can just run outside here.”

“Thanks Flash, but I don't think we'll need it.” Said Vinyl confidently.

“Yeah, this place is just special effects and friendly town folk. It's not scary at all.” Octavia Agreed.

“You really saved our flanks, Flash. Can we treat you to a thank you Cupcake from Sugarcube corners?” Vinyl Requested.

“Oh-ho, you bet.” Said Flash as Vinyl and Octavia wink at him.

Later that night, Vinyl and Octavia return to the House of Terror with confident looks on their faces.

“We totally got this, Tavi.”

“Totally.”

The squirrel from before scampers next to Vinyl and offers a high five.

“Awww. An encouraging squirrel high five.” She hoof bumps the squirrel. “Boop.” Said Vinyl.

The two mares are about ready to head inside but to their surprise, the staff is walking out with some of their belongings. They stop Ms. Harshwhinny.

“Ms. Harshwhinny?” Said Vinyl with an eyebrow raised.

“Aren't you supposed to be inside getting ready to scare people?” Questioned Octavia.

“Not anymore. Management just let the entire staff go.” The teacher explained.

“What, Why?” Asked Vinyl.

“Word got back to them that you kids took a tour today and didn't find the place very scary.” Said Harshwhinny as Vinyl and Octavia look at each other and grow nervous to hear that. “So, they decided to do a complete overhaul. Apparently, it's a hundred times scarier now.”

“It's scarier?! And we got everyone fired?!” Exclaimed Octavia as She and Vinyl are freaked out. “This is a double bagger.” She said as Starts hyperventilating into two brown bags.

“Hehe, Don't worry about me, honey. This gives me more time to work on my…” Ms. Harshwhinny started singing. “One woman shoooooowwwwww~!” She Smiles and Leaves.

“What are we going to do? We'll never get through this!" Exclaimed Octavia as she continues hyperventilating into the bags.

“Maybe we can get out of here before Trixie shows up.” Said Vinyl putting a hoof around her marefriends shoulder.

“What up, Girls?” Said Trixie off screen.

“Darn it.” Said Vinyl Deadpan.

Trixie, Snips, and Snails arrive.

“You two actually made it? I didn't think you would” Said Trixie as she and her cronies casually continue towards the house, with Vinyl and Octavia following behind, holding hooves together nervously. The coffin shaped doors open themselves, and Trixie gestures inside. “After you.”

Vinyl and Octavia gulp and nervously walk in, Still holding hooves, followed by Trixe, Snips, and Snails.

“Sure is dark in here.” Said Vinyl nervously.

Evil laughter can be heard followed by two stallions running out of the house screaming. The group continue on and they reach the end of the hallway leading off in two directions.

“We'll go this way, you girls go that way. See you chickens at the exit.” Trixie said Smugly before Backing into the corridor with Snips and Snails.

Vinyl and Octavia nervously look at each other. They enter their corridor, this time not holding hooves, and are greeted by a huge scarecrow with crows flying out of his mouth, they run off in fear screaming down another hall into a giant mutant with eyes all over and holding a scythe, the mutant swings at them but they run off in a scream, they stop in a dark room to catch their breath, when suddenly they hear “Braaaiiinnns”. The lights come on revealing the pair to be surrounded by zombies, the duo run again, screaming their way through the rest of the house.

“We gotta find that bail out door!” Vinyl Exclaimed.

“My thoughts exactly.” Octavia Agreed.

Cuts to the bail out door, where, not Vinyl and Octavia, but Trixie, Snips, and Snails jump right out of, terrified by the experience.

“That was, the scariest experience of my life.” Exclaimed Trixie getting up from the floor, scared.

“I need a hug.” Said Snails as Snips gets up and gives him one.

“Well, who’s gonna hug me?” Asked Trixie feeling left out.

“Bring it in, Trixie.” Said Snips.

The three hug each other, quivering. Meanwhile, Vinyl and Octavia are still running through the house, screaming, and eventually make it out, and can now catch their breath in peace.

“Oh man, the bail out door was much farther than I thought.” Said Vinyl.

“They really, need to work on their, signage.” Octavia agreed.

Vinyl sees Trixie, Snips and Snails approaching. “Hey guys, how'd you get out before us?” The DJ asked.

“Ooh, well, uh…” Said Trixie Trying to come up with something.

“We took the bail out door, that place was way too scary.” Snails confessed before Trixie angrily elbows him for that.

“Guess you Two made it all the way through.” Said Snails.

Vinyl and Octavia turn around and see that the door they ran out of was the exit, which two other kids run out of in the same manner they did.

“Yeah, I guess we did.” Said Vinyl as she and Octavia look at each other, amazed.

“Are you gonna rat us out to everyone at school for being chickens?” Asked Trixie nervously.

“Nah, that wouldn't be cool.” The DJ answered.

“Oh, you two are alright. I'm sorry for messing with you.” Said Trixie with guilt.

The two mares glanced at each other before they opened their mouths.

“Forget it.” Said Vinyl.

“Yeah, We’re good.” Said Octavia.

“Hey, you two wanna go to the hay burger for some burgers?” Trixie requested.

“Sure.” Said Vinyl.

“Fine by me.” Replied Octavia.

Trixie, Snips, and Snails head off and Vinyl and Octavia take the time to reflect on what just happened.

“Wow, friends with Trixie who would have thunk it? Said Vinyl looking impressed.

“Do you think we should tell him we only made it to the end because we couldn't find the bail out door?” Octavia asked.

There was a brief pause before the duo could make an answer.

“Nah!” They both replied.

“That'll be our little secret.” Said Vinyl as she and Octavia hoof bump on it, they start off to catch up with Trixie, but stop when they see their squirrel friend's face inside a crow's beak, which they find adorable. “Ahh, he's wearing a crow costume.”

Octavia kneels down to get a better view. “Are you trying to scare us too? You cute little-

The squirrel's head falls out of the beak, the pair scream again and run off. Once they're gone, the real squirrel picks up what is revealed to be a fake squirrel head, and high fives with the crow.
