Spiders and Nobodies: Life With Sunlight

After that talk last night with his mother, Sunlight was more determined to accept who he is. One day, his mohter, Celesita, called him to the library in Canterlot. He did as she told him and once he made it there, he found his mother next to the private section.

"uuuh...why are we here? This is a the restricted section, mom" Sunlight said in concern, wondering why his mother was heading to the restricted section.

"Come, Sunlight. You'll see" Celestia said with a smile.

Sunlight doesn't question and follows Celestia. When they make it to the end of the area, Celestia uses her magic to pull an invisible switch to reveal a dark cave full of old books. Sunlight is shocked.

"Wh...what is this place" Sunlight asked his mother.

"This is the cave of legends. Ubran Equestiran mythology lies within these books" Celestia answered. "I believe that we'll find the answers we need in this cave".

"You really think so"?

"I hope so".

"Then let's get started".

Celestia nods.

A few hours later after searching, Sunlight finds something.

"MOM! COME QUICK"!!! Sunlight shouted.

Celestia runs to his aid to see him holding a red book with a symbol resembling Sunlight's cutie mark and the title called "Twilight".

"I think this is it" Sunlight said with a smile.

"Are you sure you want to read this, son...it could change your life forever" Celestia asked with concern.

"I want to know everything" Sunlight replied with determination on his face.

"Then let's do it".

Sunlight opens up the book and starts reading from it.

Think now for a moment, about your best friend. Someone you couldn't bear to lose. His mind blank slate, Roxas starts counting the days, determined to never forget anything again. He and his friend, Axel go on missions for the Organization. They're soon joined by the group's 14th member. A girl named Xion. Like Roxas, She has no memory of her past. The three have been told they don't have hearts. That they're "Nobodies". And yet, it's strange. They start to realize how much they care for each other.

But before sunlight could read anymore, a buzzing noise goes off in his head as he shouts "GET DOWN" as he pushes his mother out of the way to see a razor sharp, white eel-like dart miss them. Sunlight looks up to see the leader of the nobodies.

"XEMNAS" he says.

"You have learned too much, nobody" Xemnas says.

"So what? My son has the right to know"! Celestia shouted

"A nobody doens't have a right to know anything. We are all empty shells without hearts. We cannot feel emotion...so....why is it that you're an exception, Sunlight Star"?

"It's simple. Cause I DO have a heart, Xemnas! I don't know what kind of darkness that you're hiding, but I plan to bring it to the light"! Sunlight replies.

Xemnas chuckles "Silly child. Then why do you even hate darkness in the first place"?

Sunlight stands there in silance, not knowing what to say.

"Just as I thought....no words...just silance...like a true Nobody" Xemnas says.

"That's enough"! Celestia shouts "Why must you go so far to harm my child"?!

Xemnas chuckles as he says "it's in our nature, your highness.....us nobodies cannot feel sorrow.....no matter what misery befalls the worlds. No matter what you think, what you feel, or how you exist. We are all the same....but that child...holds a prophecy..........and must be destroyed".

Xemnas pulls both of them into a dark room where a bunch of light spots surround them and start shooting at them. Both Sunlight and Celestia sceaming in pain but mostly Celestia. Both of them fall to the ground as Xemnas walks up to them from what looks like a red lightsabor glowing from his hoof.

"There was a prophecy...that a special nobody will rise up and stop a monster with the Infinity Stones.........now it ends. I will purge that light within you....WITH DARKNESS"!

Xemnas swings for the final blow with Sunlight prepared to accept his fate...when suddenly......a purple energy shield forms around Sunlight. Xemnas looks in confusion.

"Hey buddy! Why don't you pick on someone your own size"! a mysterious voice called out to him.

Xemnas turns around to see....Princess Twilight Sparkle to the rescue!

"So...the spider prodigy has returned to save the nobody......how very intruiging" Xemnas says. "You choose to save the life of a nobody?.....why"?

"Cause He's more of a somepony than you'll ever be"! Twilight shouts as she shoots a beam of magic at Xemnas. Xemnas dodges in disbelief that another pony stood in his way from his task. Back with Celestia and Sunlight, Celestia tries to crawl over to his son.

"S.....Sunlight" Celestia said while in pain....".....May your heart be your guiding key"...

Suddenly, a light started to forge around Sunlight. Everyone turns around to see Sunlight begining to transform. Xemnas looks in shock.

"How...can this be"?!

Sunlight stands up but not in pony form. He looks to his......hands to see that he's in some kind of armor....a...nobody armor.

Xemnas stands back as Sunlight forges of what looks like a keyblade.

"What does one transformation matter to a nobody?......I'll be back" Xemnas says as he teleports away.

Sunlight makes is keyblade disapear as he transforms back into his pony self. Both him and Twilight run up to the wounded Celestia as Sunlight says "Mom! Are you gonna be okay"?

"Y-yeah...I'll be fine, Sunlight...I just need a moment" Celestia replies as she tries to stand back up but fails to.

"We need to get her to the hospital right now! She's extremely wounded from the fight"! Twilight said with concern in her voice.

"Agreed! Let's get mother to the hosptial." Sunlight replies.

"Also, two things. One, who are you? and two, Who was that"?!

"My name is Sunlight Star...and...that...was my worst nightmare.....that..was a nobody like me.......that...was Xemnas......".

Xemnas teleports himself inside the castle of the two sisters as he smashes a wall in frustration. "My young nobody...it is time to serve your purpose....Bring Sunlight Star to me"!
