Twilight had assembled teams of ponies to help find the rest of the stars of the constellation. She got her friends, Big Macintosh, Zecora and the Cutie Mark Crusaders as well. Starlight was busy with the school of Friendship, so that was understandable. The crusaders were excited to join the big leagues on the Mane 6’s adventures and Big Mac was excited to step up to the plate as well. Twilight had given them a map of the location of each star, and a special means of transportation, a detailed timeline and a drawing of the star gem as well. They each set out to their respective locations.

Fluttershy was headed to her location, and she knew where she was headed too...her cottage. When she got there, she saw her pet bunny, Angel running from a stressed out draconniqus with a salad on his head due to what he had been through...Discord, nonetheless.

“FINALLY!” Discord said. “Tell that monster of a lagomorph that he can just STARVE!” He said frustrated. Angel was running from him.

“Oh!” Fluttershy said in shock. “You need to use the spring mix, NOT the romane! I should have told you!” She rearranged her salad just how Angel liked it.

Discord took off his cook and salad disguise. “How was your little meeting? You said you were going on a trip?” He wanted to know what she was up to. “I DO hope it’s to go antiquing! A chippendale table for my breakfast nook would be lovely!” He changed into a scuba diving outfit. “Or perhaps...scuba diving in the great farrier reef!” He changed into a morning robe. “Or, what about a gallop in the park?” He looked into Fluttershy’s lunch basket. “Oh, Gouda!” He joked. “A cheese plate!”

“Maybe some other time.” She told her mismatched friend. “We’re headed into the Everfree Forest to find a fallen star.”

Just then, Discord changed from crazy happy to a little nervous. “A fallen star? In the Everfree Forest??” He asked a little worried.

Fluttershy continued to pack for the mission. “Oh yes. Twilight is very excited. She said a constellation fell out of the sky, and we’re on an adventure to collect all the pieces.”

Discord was getting a little more nervous by the minute. “There’s no POSSIBLE chance that...the Andalusian Constellation is there?”

“It IS!” Fluttershy said, excited. “I didn’t know you were so well versed in astronomy. That’s going to save you from having to read the first 17 pages of Twilight’s notes.”

“This is just...some WHIM of Twilight’s, right?” He wondered, still a little nervous, but a little joking as well. “A flight of fancy? A hobby? She doesn’t think the STARS actually exist, right?”

“Oh no!” Fluttershy said as she got a book out and showed her a page containing the whole constellation. “She FOUND one, and it’s pointed the way to all the others! She put us in charge of the one in the Everfree Forest, so I’d be close to home for all my animals! Wasn’t that nice of her?”

Discord was now on full panic attack as he jumped up and grabbed Fluttershy! “She’s FOUND ONE?!?!” He asked frightened.

“Oh, yes! It’s all quite exciting!” Fluttershy said calmly and happily.

“We have to leave!” Discord said as he snapped his fingers to take him and his friend to his dimension.

Fluttershy was confused. “What? Why?”

“Twilight cannot reunite all the pieces!” Discord said as they arrived to his house.

“Why, Discord?” Fluttershy was still confused. “What’s happening?”

Discord explained to her. “Those stars AREN’T STARS! They are COSMOS! She’s an old...acquaintance of mine. Cosmos was once a terror upon Equestria! She was like me but she took things too far!” He warned her, “She hurt things! It took the combined efforts of the most magical beings to lock her away in the stars that were her prison!”

Fluttershy now understood why her friend was frightened. “Oh my.”

“Years ago, a shooting star knocked her out the sky and the stars scattered.” He revealed.

“You seem to know a lot about this!” Fluttershy processed this information into her brain.

“I have a vested interest in keeping Cosmos from coming back!” Discord said as he put a hard hat onto his friend’s head.

“Do you want to talk about it?” His friend asked.

“Not really.” He said. “But I’ll have to!” He revealed his backstory of how his hid the stars of Cosmos into the forest. “Before the stars fell, I used to monitor them constantly, always afraid that she would come back! I thought it was a good idea when they fell spread out across the land...it felt like she was that much further away from being whole.” He was nervous, but still decided to continue to voice his fear to his kind Pegasus friend. “I found one...it called to me in the Everfree Forest! I hid it away...under NO circumstances can all those stars be reunited.”

Fluttershy was now worried. “Oh, dear.”

“Oh dear isn’t the half of it!” The draconniqus admitted.

“Well, this is perfect.” His friend said. “You know where it is! We should go get it and give it to Princess Celestia. She needs to know about the threat of Cosmos coming back, right?”

“I suppose.” Discord thought. “But I’d REALLY rather be left out of it. This is HER we’re talking about.”

“Nonsense!” She was positive. “You obviously know more than any of us about what’s happening, and we need to protect our friends. Let’s go get that star and protect everypony, okay?”

“You’re being far too calm and reasonable!” Discord said both admitting and worried.

“It’s a gift.” She told her friend. Just then, she got an idea. “Discord? Could I tell you something?”

“I don’t think I could handle any more secrets.” He calmed down. “But, okay.”

Fluttershy revealed her secret that she told her friends, who suggested she tell him. “You know how I’m friends with Twilight?” He nodded. “Well, this sounds silly, but I’ve been having some...fantasies about her.”

“Why Fluttershy!” He said in surprise. “You been having fantasies about Twilight? What kind of fantasies? Roller skating fantasies? Scuba diving fantasies? Music fantasies? Vacation fantasies? What?”

“Um...personal fantasies.” She said, while she blushed. “Romantic fantasies.” Discord just scowled at that. “Oh, don’t worry. I know she could never replace you. We have been Besties! And no one can replace that sort of friendship.”

“I guess you’re right.” He admitted. He knew that their friendship couldn’t be replaced, but he wanted to know how Fluttershy developed those fantasies about Twilight.

“You see, when she met me before she met you, after we defeated Nightmare Moon, I’ve always thought we were just friends, but now, when I saw her wearing that fallen star necklace, I now felt a little aroused by her and I’ve been having this feeling like I’m loving her...she was probably worried about me.” She smiled while Discord started to get nervous again. “Oh my, that was very sweet of her. I don't know how but…” her eyes morphed into hearts as she told him what would come out of her lips next. “I think I'm in love with Twilight.” She smiled contently.

Discord’s eyes popped out in a state of shock and amazement. “Wow, Fluttershy!” He said, shaking her hands excitedly! “I didn’t know you’d actually have a relationship with the princess of Friendship! Congratulations!”

“Um...as you can see, I don’t know how to confess my feelings for her, much less tell her how I feel!” She admitted to her. She was now a little nervous about what to say.

Discord calmed her down. “Oh, don’t worry my dear Fluttershy!” He reassured her. “It’s all for the best! You can just go up to her and tell you how you feel! It’s that easy!”

“Well, you've got a lot to learn about marefriends, Discord.” Fluttershy admitted. “I’m in big trouble here. ” she said.

“Why don’t you confess your feelings to her when you feel like it or when you feel like it’s the right time?” He asked her,

“Oh, I guess I could just wait for the right time.” She said. “Or tell her when I feel like it!”

“That’s the spirit, Fluttershy!” Discord clapped his hands together. “I knew you could do it! Now, all that we have to do is to find that missing star!” He snapped his fingers and teleported them to the place when her buried the star. “I really don’t think I should touch it. Do you?” He asked his friend.

Fluttershy picked up the star that was buried out the ground. “I wore the one Twilight has with no problem.” She was calm about the whole situation. “It should be fine.”

Discord got out more TNT to burry it more. “I really think we should burry it even deeper.” He got an idea. “Or...WE COULD BLOW IT UP!”

“Now, now.” Fluttershy said calmly and well aware of the situation. “Princess Celestia has a very good track record for dealing with horrible monstrosities. She’ll know what to do. Besides, we’ve been so lucky that nopony has stumbled across it here! Just leaving it buried isn’t as secure as bringing it to Princess Celestia.” She started to get worried about what would happen if a dragon or other villain found the other stars. “Imagine if a villain found it...or a DRAGON!” She said worriedly. “...um, not that my best friends are dragons, but...” she calmed down. “...you know what I mean.”

Discord sighed and realized that Fluttershy was right. He gave in. “You’re right. Let’s take it to Celestia. I should have eons ago.” He said a little beat and concerned.

“It’s so pretty.” Fluttershy said as she hugged her mismatched friend. “It’s so sad that it heralds the coming of an monster of unspeakable horror.”

“Oh, honey...” Discord said in agreement. “You have NO idea!” He snapped his fingers to get himself and Fluttershy to Canterlot Castle, where a familiar surprise would be awaiting them when they arrived.

Well, that’s part 2! Discord has confessed his fear of his greatest villain, Cosmos, and Fluttershy has confessed her feelings about Twilight. Discord has teleported himself and Fluttershy to the castle, where a familiar surprise will be awaiting them! Who do you think will be there?! And what about Twilight?
