(Same day aboard the Reach)
(2 hours later)
(Brig)

Two medical droids were overlooking a captive pony who was strapped onto a table as a bright light was forced into his face causing his eyes to tear up.

"Who sent you?" The droid asked

Spitting at the droid, the pony hissed.

"Go back to hole you came from, freak."

The droid's eyes blinked before asking.

"I'll ask one last time, who sent you?"

The pony only glared at the droid as the droid shook his head.

"We're getting nowhere, bring out the interrogation droid." As he said this, the light was moved away. The table folded itself, and the two medical droids backed away.

"W-What? What are you doing?"

They said nothing. The red shield that covered the door vanished as a new droid entered the room humming menacingly.

(Another room)

"I never thought that there was life on this planet." Krystal stated, as she held up one of the ponies swords in her hands. She inspected the gear that rested on the table before her.

I sat in a chair as I held my head in one of my claws studying one of the amulets the ponies had before speaking.

"Was this planet consider lifeless?" I asked, looking to her as she turned to me.

"Well, with this planets weird gravitational pull, we considered it would only have non-sentient life...guess we were wrong." Krystal said as she put down the sword before I spoke.

"This planet is full of surprises, like some of this planets inhabits know how to use magic." I told Krystal as she crossed her arms.

"Doesn't surprise me that magic is real, I mean I've seen spirits and the supernatural...so yeah not surprised." Smiling I leaned forward.

"Will it surprise you that two of this worlds leaders control the sun AND moon?" Krystal laughed at me before doing a Jonah Johnson.

"You serious?" I nodded.

Krystal went wide eyed at me before sitting down.

"Whoa...now that is surprising." Nodding I popped my clawed feet up on the table as I crossed my arms.

"Well buckle up, and let me give you a crash course of this world."

(Corneria)
(Medical station)

Fox looked at one of his oldest friends that rested on the medical bed with tubes and other medical equipment strapped onto his form as the heart monitor beeped. The leader of the mercenary team sat across the rabbit speaking to the sleeping veteran.

"-and you know Falco, always mad over the littlest things." Fox joked at he smiled at Peppy.

As he finished his story the door to the room open as the general of Corneria's navy enter the room.

"Fox."

"Pepper."

The old dog turned to one of his oldest friends and sighed.

"Ironic, isn't it." Pepper walked over to his old friend as he grabbed his cap and placed it over his chest.

"What is General?" Fox ask.

"Someone is always injured."

Fox nodded, remembering how it was the general last time when androssians attacked Corneria not too long ago. As the merc looked up General Pepper turned to him and spoke.

"How is the team doing?"

Fox closed his eyes and sighed.

"Falco is acting like its not affecting him, but I know better. Slippy took it hard, took him almost a week to get him out of his room." Fox told the general as he nodded.

"And Krystal?"

"I...I had her taken off the team." Fox stated.

Pepper raised an eyebrow.

"Why is that? Weren't you two-"

"It was for her own safety." Fox interrupted as he placed his hand on his fist.

The old general sighed before looking back at Peppy.

"You should not have removed her from the team just because Peppy was hurt." Pepper stated but Fox snarked.

"No, its because of this I should have realized this job wasn't safe for her in the first place." Fox stated as he got up.

"Fox."

"Your not going to change my mind General...and besides she's gone." Fox told the general as he tilted his head.

"What do you mean?"

"Like I said, she's gone...stole cloud jumper and boom never heard from her again." Fox said as he went over to the door.

"I think you should know something." Pepper said as Fox stopped.

"What's that?"

"There's a bounty."

The Leader smiled as he opened the door.

"I've had more bounties on my head than I can count I think one more won't be-"

"It's not on you." Pepper stated as fox turned to him. "It's on Krystal."

Fox froze.

"2.500.000 credits for her hide, Fox. I don't know why, it didn't say why, so it's most likely underworld...I think it's best that you find her first, before any hot headed bounty hunter or pirate finds her first." Fox turned to the door before stepping thought it.

"I will."

With that, the door shut behind him as pepper turned to his oldest friend.

"We're getting too old for this, Peppy."

(3 hours later)
(back on the Reach)

"So they got in though means of teleportation?" I asked as the droid nodded. "How? Our shields are designed to protect us from that."

"Apparently sir these 'ponies' must have used a 'spell' that held enough power output to counter our shields." The 'medical' droid spoke.

Rolling my eyes, I turned to Krystal who was currently sparring with a few new dark droids. After the thieves got on, I decided to make combat-ready droids. Decided on the design of the dark droids or dark troopers from the rebel series.

"Alright then who hired them?"

"Unknown they say they are apart of a guild and were hired personal and anonymously by an unknown client. The client provided the magical Amulets, along with the promise of 500.000 'bits' in exchanged for any 'important' technology aboard the reach." Turning to the droid I sighed as I placed my hand on my chin.

'Could Celestia have done this? Maybe I mean she was pretty pissed when I told her no, but these Amulets seem like a bad idea to give to some hired-swords...and from our scans of them, they seem to give of 'dark magic'. There are others out there that could have heard about the reach...hell this thing is so fucking big I didn't expect any one to not see us, so what to do?'

"Sir, if I can say something." Turning to my psycho friend Mr. Bones.

"What is it bones?"

"As you think on who could have done this, I think it would best that we exit orbit and head into space. That way no one can board our ship planet side."

"Not a bad idea Bones. I was really hoping to see Twilight and the lot, but I guess I'll have to visit them later." I stated, really hoping to get some cakes from Pinkie due to me not getting my piece thanks to the Princesses.

*CRAUCH*

Turning my head, I saw Krystal had taken down all three dark droids with ease as she stands on top of one of them with her staff pointing to the droid's head. I'm so grateful for this visor on my face. Why is that? Well I'm blushing like crazy because one: Krystal is wearing a white tank top, and two: She's sweating so much that I can see her bra.

'Damn.'

Krystal looked up before getting off the droid and walking over to me as she panted as she waved to me to throw her a towel. Doing so she grabbed it before whipping it on her face as she spoke.

"How did I do?"

I nodded.

"Well, I'd say you did great! The bots were on level 7, and you took them all down in a good amount of time...so I say about 9/10." She smiled as she wrapped the towel around her neck. I hand her a water bottle.

"Thanks, you didn't do so bad either...but you were kinda sloppy on time, I would say 6/10."

(Visor: WTF)

Krystal laughed as I growled. She sat down next to me, and took a drink from her bottle.

"I'm only joking you did good...7/10."

"I was on level 9, unlike you vixen." I told her as she turned her eyes to me as she took another drink.

"Well...there was only two not three."

"You asked for the third one." I stated as she smirked.

"Only to prove to you I can do better."

"You used a weapon I took them down with my bare claws and tail."

"You have bionics."

"You have psychic powers."

"I can't read robots Zero."

"Maybe you can, but your lying." I crossed my arms.

"Well maybe I am but you will never know." She smiled as I huffed.

Krystal smiled as she lightly jabbed my arm with her elbow.

"Come on Zero you know I'm just playing with you." Rolling my eyes I turned to her.

"How is that?"

"Cause I love how your mask does those things when you react." She said tapping on my visor as I narrowed my eyes.

"It's a visor Krystal."

"Same difference."

"Its really not," I stated as Krystal smiled wider.

"Well if you let me try it on, maybe I can tell the difference." As she said this I turned away.

"No."

"Awwww, why not?"

"I've told you why before." I reminded her.

"Come on we're friends right? It won't hurt."

"Krystal, I've known you for three days for makers sake, and Protogen's don't show their faces to their friends...we show them to people we trust," I said.

Krystal leaned in to my face with puppy dog eyes (which were very effective!).

"Pleassssssssssssssse."

"No."

"Fine then, let's do this the hard way!"

As she said this Krystal grabbed the sides of my visor and pulled...

Only to no avail. my visor had a locking system so it wouldn't fall off or be taken off as Krystal was trying to do. Smirking the Vixen pulled and pulled only to fall back panting.

"H-How?"

"That's simple my dear, locks." She got up and turned to me.

"Jerk."

"Say what you want...fluffy butt." Krystal back away slightly as she blushed.

This time I was the one laughing.

"Oh my maker, you should see your face! HAHAHA!" I laughed madly..

"W-w-w-well your one to talk, metal butt!" I rolled my eyes.

"How original Krystal." Krystal huffed as she blushed crossing her arms before turning away from me. "Aww Krystal I was just joking."

"Well, words hurt."

I sighed as I calmed down.

"Well Krystal, if it really bugs you that much, how about make it up to you?" I said she turned to me still blushing.

"What are you thinking of?" She asked as I smiled.

"How do you feel about cake?"

She dropped her arms before turning to me fully.

"Alright I'm listening."

Looks like I'm going to have that visit then.

Alright this chapter was bit of a long one but still...OH MY GOD THE COMMENTS! SO MANY I LOVE IT!!! Keep them coming boys and girls I love reading them even the ones that I learn something like about the muramasa swords! This also chapter was to start Krystal and Zeros relationship ship a bit not by much but a bit hope you guys like that I'm taking things so. Also Star fox is tracking down Krystal...Well its going to be awhile since we will see them again because shes on/around Equis.

Along with that the new chapter is Zero getting a new member to his 'crew'!
