PonyVille was having another day go by as normal as the ponies went about their day for themselves, that was until the sound of something cutting through the air was heard. Almost like screaming as the ponies looked up to see something that none of them have ever seen before in their lives.

Of course, anything new to these ponies meant one thing... Danger, so as it landed they shattered into their homes locking the doors and boarding the windows.

"You were right these 'ponies' are quite xenophobic," Krystal told me as we exited the dropship and she looked around.

"Yeah you get used to it after a while," I told her as I walked to sugar cude corner, unlike the rest of the town the cakes aren't as bad and Pinkie well she's Pinkie.

As I pushed the glass doors open we were meet with an almost empty store as some of the ponies decided to hide under the tables and desks at the sight of us. Though I paid them no mind as I walked over to the order counter and ringed the bell as I crossed my arms and on cue-

"ZERO!"

The pink blur known as Pinkie pie rushed to the counter as I smiled upon seeing the pink pony.

"What are doing here?" She asked as I rolled my eyes at the sight of her messy form.

"Nothing much just here to get some of your famous sweets for my new crewmate,"

"New crewmate?" Pinkie turned to Krystal who smiled and waved to her.

"Hello,"

The pink pony gasped as she darted from the counter to her and began to zoom from side to side of Krystal inspecting her as she shot questions.

"WHOAANOTHERALIEN!AREYOULIKEZERO!NOWAITYOUDON'THAVEAMASKLIKEHIM!WAITAREYOUHISSPEICALMAREFRIEND?HOWLONGHAVEYOUKNOWNZERO?ALONGTIMEIBET!HAVEYOU-" I placed my claw on her snout.

"Pinkie claim down,"

Krystal smiled as she waved her hand.

"It's alright Zero I've meet weirder individuals," Turning to her I shrugged.

"Very well," Letting pinkie goes she rubbed her snout.

"Owwies Zero that hurt!" Pinkie told me as she puffed out in an anime pouty face.

Rolling my eyes I pointed to her.

"You were overwhelming my friend with questions pinkie and besides I'm here for that piece of cake I didn't get to have," I started this cause pinkie to gasp.

"WHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAATTTTTTT!"

"She's quite the drama queen ain't she?" Krystal whispered into my ear I crossed my arms with a smile.

"You haven't meet Rarity yet Krystal," I whispered back as I did this Pinkie shoot to my faceplate.

"You haven't tried cake yet even after I make you a cake! How does that happen?" She asked as I gently pushed her back with a smile.

"Two words: Party crashers," Pinkie was going to say something but realized what I said.

"Oh yeah, the princesses did come in and pulled you aside, and then...I may have accidentally eaten your cake piece," Pinkie lowered her head in shame as I only shook my head.

"Pinkie it's OK that's why I'm here see I've gotten a sweet tooth lately and really need a pinkie pie special to help with that and also here to have Krystal try 'real' cake!" I started pointing to Krystal nodding.

(AN: "Look up Corneria cake...Ugh it looks awful!")

"Zero spoke highly of your cake-making skills and I had to see if he's right," Krystal stated as Pinkie smiled before rushing over back to her side of the counter.

"Alright, then one Pinkie special coming right up! For her or to go?" I reached into my belt and pulled out a few bits (That I may or may not have 'borrowed' from the guild members). "Don't this ones on me!"

With a slight chuckle, I gave a nod before placing the bits back in my belt before pinkie told me and Krystal to take a seat. As I took my seat in a booth so did Krystal on the other end as I leaned back looking out the window waiting for Pinkie pie to make the order.

"Quite the colorful place...Falco would have hated it," Krystal joked as she looked at the colorful inside of the sweet shop.

Turning to her I put on my 'Ihavenoideawhatstarfoxis' face.

"Isn't he the frog?"

Krystal smiled before shaking her head.

"No, he's the Falcon Zero. Slippy is the toad and he, on the other hand, might just like it I mean he has a weak spot for sweets," She joked with a smile as I nodded.

"They should quite the friends," I stated Krystal then turned to me.

"What about you Zero did you have any friends before going out as a captain?" Leaning back in the chair I looked up.

'Think of something! Think of something!'

"Well, I have Mr. Bones-"

"Droids don't count," Krystal told me narrowing her eyes.

I placed a hand on my chin humming.

"Well Protogens don't really have much contact with others while being grown and since I spent my time in the archives before becoming a captain I didn't have what you may call 'friends'," I started but I raised a claw. "Scratch that I think I might have one before,"

"Don't let me stop you,"

"F5-55 or Fives as he likes to call himself he was also in the Archives when we ran into each other once when we were studying combat strategies. He was pretty chilled and kinda relaxed...I think the last time I saw him was we he became a Lieutenant for a war station for a newly found world," I stated as Krystal nodded.

"Interesting is there any else that you knew that you could consider a friend?" She asked as I shook my head.

"Sadly no I mostly kept to myself," I stated as Krystal rested her arms on the table.

"Do you consider me a friend Zero?" The vixen asked as I turned to her slightly surprised at what she said.

"Well... yeah you're a part of my crew and what I was taught your crew is your family so yeah I see you as a friend Krystal," I smiled as Krystal blushed slightly at my kindness.

"Thank you Zero," The vixen stated.

"Your welcome Kryst-"

*SLAM!*

"ALRIGHT MONSTER COME ON AND GET THE BEATING OF A LIFETIME FROM ME!"

The two of us looked to the door to see...Rainbow Dash?

"RAINBOW DASH!"

(Zero's Face: -_-)

"That the hothead rainbow one you told me about?" Krystal asked as I nodded.

"Prepare yourself, princess," I stated as Rainbow looked around the room before resting eyes on me.

"Zero? What in the name of Celestia are you doing here there's a monster in ponyville you need *sees Krystal*-"

As she stopped talking my cybernetics kicked in as I shot forward as Rainbow 'dashed' to Krystal's fist out ready to knock her out but luckily I was faster catching her fist before lightly pinching her nose. The daredevil fell onto the floor holding her nose as she looked up at me.

"Zero why in the name of luna was that for! There's a monster next to you way are you-"

"One: She's not a monster her name is Krystal. Two: I always protect my friends even if they are someone I know," I told her as Rainbow got up rubbing her nose.

"But I was told there was a monster that came down in a weird do-hickey and ran through town and into sugar cube corner,"

"You ponies so Xenophobic," I stated out loud as Rainbow growled slightly as I turned to her. "What it's true,"

Before Rainbow could say anything Pinkie Pie came in with a Blue box with a black ribbon.

"Order for Mr. Zerooooooooo- Rainbow what are you doing here aren't you suppose to be teaching at school today?"

As Rainbow told her how she was told that there was a monster in town that was causing havoc in town she came here to check it out. Pinkie pie just laughed at Rainbow dashed saying it was only Krystal and I along with the fact they came for a new cake to try out since I didn't get to try my party cake.

Taking the cake from Pinkie I thanked her as Krystal and I left an embarrassed Rainbow and a waving Pinkie pie telling us to come again.

"Well that was something," Krystal stated as I nodded.

"Don't have to tell me twice let's just get back to the ship before any more ponies decide to show up,"

"Agreed,"

"ZERO!"

"Goddammit," Turning around with the cake in my claws I was meet with the sight of...spike?

The dragon came up to me with a few packed bags and holding his legs from out of breath.

"Spike? You alright?" I asked.

He looked up at me.

"Zero...Can I come with you guys!"

(Zero's face: ?.?)

"Come again?"

"Zero I know you barely know me and all but I'm asking if I am a part of your crew and all,"

"Why?" I asked. "You got friends and family here why would you want to leave all this behind?"

Spike got up before

"Well, to be honest, I read so many comics as a kid to wonder what is up there you know space and the endless reaches of it and everything," Spike started pulling out a comic that almost made me lose my shit.

It read the 'adventurers captain jangles the moon monkey'.

"And since I got my wings I been thinking about doing something that doesn't involve Twilight looking over my shoulder all the time," Spike told me. "Please Zero I don't want to be Twilight's bookkeeper forever,"

I looked at Spike then turned to Krystal who looked at me before giving me the eye look saying 'give the kid a chance' and since he was one of my favorite characters in the series and the most logical of the entire series I sighed.

"Are you sure kid?" I asked as Spike nodded. "Very well but there are few rules you're going to have to follow and I mean it! These rules are there for a reason alright you can just go around and break them no matter what even if your friends beg you to do so,"

"Of course I promise Zero!" Spike said with a smile before I turned around.

"Get you bags quickly I don't want Twilight coming out here and give a big speech saying why you shouldn't go and shit,"

"How did you kno-"

"Kid I know lots of things," as I said this I noticed one of my probe droids uncloak for a moment.

With that, we all got on the ship and exited ponyville back to the reach.

Man, what a day.

(In Cornaira land port aboard the Great Fox)

"Fox, why did you have to bring her onto the crew?" Fox looked from his datapad at the supply list for the resupply for the great fox to his trusted friend Falco.

"Well, she's one of the greatest pilots at the academy Falco don't you remember?" Fox said as ROB 64 lifted a crate of food over to the other side of the room.

"But she's so so so,"

"Falco she just has a crush on you its nothing to be overzealous over," Fox stated as the Falcon held a pained look. "Besides she most likely going to be with Faya and Miyu during the trip anyways Falco you need to claim down,"

Falco growled crossing his arms.

"Why couldn't you have just brought along Slippy's girlfriend instead,"

In the background Slippy: SHE'S NOT MY GIRLFRIEND!

Fox turned to him with a glare.

"She's busy working on a project for the government like hell I'm going to bug her about anything so suck it up bird brain," Falco huffed before storming off as Fox turned back to his datapad.

"Yo Fox,"

"I don't catch a break do I?" Fox looked around to see the lynx known as Miyu walking up to him with her hands in her coat. "What's going on Miyu?"

The weapon nut moved a hand from her pocket to her head to scratch behind her ear.

"Well, I've been wandering ever since you called way did you pull Faya and Me back? I mean I don't mind getting out of that office and actually do something but what's so important for you to call both Faya, Kat, AND me?" The lynx asked as Fox turned to his list.

"You know about Krystal?"

She nodded.

"Yeah she went off with the cloud jumper and now there's a bounty on her whats to know?" Miyu asked. "And you broke up with her,"

Fox turned to her as Miyu held a look of slight anger.

"She told you?"

"Yeah she told me for goodness sake Fox she's almost my sister next to Faya you should know better," Miyu stated as Fox turned to her completely.

"Than do you know where she is since you last talk to her?" Fox asked as Miyu spoke.

"I know where she 'was' and where she was going to but beyond that your guess is good as mine," The gun nut said as Fox placed a hand on his side.

"This could have been useful before," Fox stated.

"Well, I'm telling you before we get off-world,"

"Fair enough...well then where was Krystal going?" Fox asked as Miyu rolled her eyes.

"Where do you think? Dinosaur Planet,"

Oh my GOD! 200 likes! THIS IS AMAZING! SO AMAZING I DECIDED TO DOUBLE THE SIZE OF THIS CHAPTER FOR THOSE 200 LIKES!

I mean I really really appreciate you guys doing this, I mean its not every day one of your stories reaches 200 likes! I don't think ANY of my stories has gotten so much attention and love and to my shook is how little hate there is...don't get me wrong or anything I like that the dislikes aren't 30 or anything but since this is a furry story I expected the hate to be flooding over. Luckily that hasn't happen...yet.

Besides that I'm so glad of everyone who smashed that thumbs up...its like Caesar is giving me a second chance to live in the glorious area! Aside from that I've been wandering...do you guys think we can reach up 400 likes? I know its almost double of what we have now but hey its a goal! If we do reach 400 likes I will post not one but two chapters with over 4,000 words.

Also I've been wander if there is someway I can get a new cover for the story so if any of you guys know or are any good artist (since mine is art skills are awful) please let me know if they are doing any requests in the comments down bellow and with that my fellow space adventurers until the next one!
