(Aboard the Reach: In deep space out of Equis orbit)

(Zero's room)

Snapping the last piece to my newest weapon to my arsenal I held out on my take on the plasma rifle from the terminator series as its energy core glowed blue.

I was thinking of making a sith trooper blaster from rising of skywalker but I decided on making a plasma-based weapon besides a laser-based. Plus this weapon held some modern-day attachments something that reminded me of home slightly along with its design.

After all, I was going to need all the firepower I could get for where we were going...

I did think long and hard about making something similar to a lasgun from the Warhammer 40,000 series knowing how actually useful they are... Well outside of the Grimdark universe.

Krystal had requested me that we should exit Equis space and head over to a planet called...*sigh* Dinosaur planet, there was something that she needs to do. She didn't tell me why we need to go all she said 'it is important' and like the gentleman that I am, I agreed and exited Equis orbit and set a course to Dinosaur planet.

I was excited to say the least, besides Equestria I was going to set foo- Claw (still getting use to that) on a different planet, I didn't really play the game star fox adventure or whatever it was called but still, I was kinda squealing on the inside of being on a different planet though and though.

*Knock Knock*

I turned to the door before speaking.

"Come in,"

The doors opened as the gem fox herself entered the room.

"Hey Zero I can't thank you enough for doing this," Krystal stated as I smiled.

"Not a problem," She smiled back. "But I wanna ask something in return,"

Krystal tilted her head.

"What is that?"

"I'll tell you later Krystal when we finish this earn you have us on," I told her as she nodded.

"Fair enough,"

I nodded.

"Good,"

"Sir,"

Turning to my holo disk the image of Bones appeared as I turned to it.

"Bones what is it, my friend,"

"Sir we have arrived at 'Dinosaur planet',"

Cocking back the plasma rifle I nodded.

"Let's raise hell,"

(Hanger bay 2)
(5 minutes later)

"Why can't I come," Spike asked as I turned to him as Krystal boarded the dropship.

"Spike it isn't safe down there," I told him.

"But I've trained, hell I've beaten you on one on one combat the other day don't you remember! I'm ready!" Crossing my arms I spoke.

"Spike this is for your own good and besides it will just be me and Krystal on this mission cause we're going in as few in number cause we don't want the entire planet to know we are here," I stated as Spike backed off slightly.

"But,"

"No buts I am Ordering you to say aboard the Reach and inform us of anything that could be a threat alright Spike," the dragon sighed before nodding.

"Yes sir,"

"Good now head to the bridge Mr.bones will help you out as best as he can,"

"Him?! That droid makes my scales crawl," Spike told me causing me to laugh.

"Yeah he does that but don't worry he will harm a single scale on your purple ass unless I tell him, now get going spike we'll be needing you looking over us," I told him as he nodded.

Lightly bumping his shoulder with my fist I smiled.

"Hey don't worry kid the next mission I'll let you come with us what do you say?" I state as Spike lit up.

"Really?" I nodded before turning to board the ship.

"Count on it kiddo,"

He then smiled before turning around as the ramp closed behind me.

'Kid's got guts,'

(In the dropship)

As I sat across from Krystal who held her staff in her lap I asked as the ship rocked from entering the planet's atmosphere.

"So what are we looking for down there Krystal?" I asked.

"I don't exactly know Zero," She told me causing me to blink.

"I'm sorry?"

"I had a vision the other night Zero...See Zero I'm what you might call a psychic and I-"

"I know that Krystal,"

She backed up slightly before speaking.

"How did you know?"

"My cybernetics inform me if some psychic creature is trying to enter my mind and blocks anything trying to enter my mind," I stated.

Blinking she rubbed the back of her head.

"Sorry,"

I shook my head.

"It's fine," Opening my eyes I then spoke. "So your vision brought us dinosaur planet that we know but whatever it is will you be able to track it?"

She nodded.

"Of course even now I can feel it buts quite far away,"

Chuckling I slammed my fist against a button as the floor before us opened up reviling a speeder bike.

"I do hope you don't mind the sidecar,"

(On dinosaur planet)

"WOOOOOAHHH!" Krystal smiled as we jumped a rock that was angled like a ramp as we flew slightly in the air.

"When did you make this thing!" She asked as we raced through the forest.

"A while back before I meet you I have quite a few of these in the reach's hanger," I stated as Krystal pointed right.

Turning that way she then asked.

"Why did you bring me one?"

"So we can stick together and not get separated like in the movies," I told her as she nodded.

Krystal pointed left, as I took the turn we were meet with a clearing which in all honest looked amazing...

All kinds of dinosaurs covered the planet's planes and sky making me feel like I was back on earth but during the dino age of the earth. It was quite cool, to say the least seeing all this kinda made the dino-loving kid inside me go nuts about what was before me but luckily I kept down those feelings as I began to go downhill in Krystal's direction. Pressing on we went on undisturbed until Krystal turned her head, when she did this she grabbed my shoulder.

"Zero!"

Turning my head from the road and I turned my head and saw it.

What it looked something similar to that of a Wookie drop ship from Episode III but instead of fluffy aliens where what looked like lizard men aboard the drop ships roaring.

"Sharpclaws!" Krystal stated as I turned back around and punched the bike to go faster.

"I thought you told me you dealt with them!" I shouted.

"Well, it's been a while they must have regrouped!" Cursing I turned to Krystal.

"Take them out,"

"How the gun is pointing forward,"

"Push the green button,"

Krystal looked down at the cart's console before pushing the green button this caused the sidecar to snap a 180 as she was now facing the ships behind us.

"I love this bike," With that, she grabbed the gun and opened fired as I drove us forward.

The lizards roared before speaking something that I had no idea what it was as I spoke to Krystal.

"What did they say?"

"Oh nothing much just the usual surrender or else," She fired followed by the sound of something crashing into the ground. "Head right!"

"On it," Turning right we went over a lake as our tailers kept on us still even though Krystal was firing at them.

"Zero you got some guys on your tail!" Spike told me over the radio as I rolled my eyes.

"Kinda already knew that Spike,"

"Well there are more on their way,"

"How many more?" I asked.

"About five more...no ten more? There's a lot,"

"I don't think we can take them all," Krystal told me as I nodded.

"Actually I think we can flip back I have an idea," I told her as she did I reached for one of my added features to the speeder bike.

Which was in the form of a big red button.

"Hold on to your tail!"

As I said this I pushed the button causing the bike to rocket forward, the force from the speed boost caused me to shot back in my seat as did Krystal as he held onto the pod.

This is a good time to quote joker.

"BEST. BUTTON. EVER!" As we rocketed forward we used a hill to shoot up in the air as I decided to use one of my modifications.

You know bullet-time right?

Well, I added an implant when I built my HF blade to mimic Raiden's Zandatsu which took me a while to make but in the end, it worked. As I got up from my seat I pulled out a special grenade that its very similar to what is known as a Tesla pulse device.

As I threw it the top and bottom of the grenade opened up as electricity shot from those spots and a web of light grabbed the closet ship before chain linking to the other remain ships causing them to catch fire before crashing down into the ground and as my systems began to overheat I turned back to my seat. Landing back on the ground I stopped us as we turned around to watch the fireworks.

"What was that?" Krystal asked as I pulled out one more of the grenades.

"Lighting Grenade," I handed her one as she took it and looked at it.

"Another one of your creations?"

I nodded causing her to turn to me.

"What have you not made?"

"A black hole?" She gave me a scared look.

"Don't worry I'm not that crazy to make something that dangerous," I stated as he handed me back the bomb.

"Please don't,"

Nodding I turned us back around and we went on.

(with the great fox crew)
(moments before)

"GOD it's been 4 weeks and nothing!" Falco stated in his arwing as fox rolled his eyes.

"Claim down Falco it's not easy tracking someone down on a planet like this it takes time," Fox said to his bird friend.

"Well, Fox it has been quite some time I'm starting to think Krystal isn't here," Slippy told the leader. "I'm not picking up the cloud jumpers signal,"

"She must have turned it off Slippy," Fox told him as the toad nodded.

"Yeah, she must have," Slippy rested his head on his fist as Falco crossed his arms still thinking this is a lost cause.

Fox then turned his coms over to Fay and Miyu as he spoke over the range radio.

"Miyu...Fay anything on your end?"

"Sorry fox nothing yet," Fay stated.

"Yeah nothing...Whoa, where did that come from?"

"What is it Miyu?" Fox asked.

"I just picked up a large energy spike not fair from our location," Miyu stated

"Yeah I picked it up too,"

Fox smiled.

"Alright we will meet you there you two wait for us," Fox stated as the other two pilots got up.

"Finally some action!" Falco stated as the three of them cut through the air to the right as they went to the girl's location.

Not 2,000+ words but its is close enough I do sure hope you guys enjoyed this chapter even though it took awhile to do. But you will have to wonder what brought Krystal back to Dinosaur planet and why are the Scaly Folk back?

So many questions so little time... I hope you guys are ready to see Zero meeting star fox
