"Stop,"

I stopped the speeder bike as Krystal turned to me as I looked over to her as she held her head.

"What is it?" I asked.

"Were close...were going to have to go on foot from here," She told me as I nodded.

Turning off the speeder bike I hopped off as she did as she looked forward with her hand on her head as if she was trying to listen to something. Following behind her I readied my plasma rifle as we began to enter deeper into the forest, if I knew what I knew then I would have brought more guns with me.

(In orbit)

"Goddess this is boring!" Spike threw his head back as he leaned back in one of the bridge's chairs as the map of the dinosaur planet held nothing interesting just nature and more nature.

The usually busy dragon that did chores and read comics for the first time in quite some time had nothing to do.

If he was back on Equis he would be cleaning for Twilight, helping lecture hall for the students, helping Rarity out with her dresses, or lastly be getting the latest power ponies or Captain jangles the moon monkey comic. But he had at least re-read the comics he brought at least 100 times and it now got boring.

Was now kinda wishing he had waited till the latest issue had come out before he left.

*BEEEEEEEEEEP*

The beep had caused Spike to fall out of his seat as he shot back up looking around.

"What the fuck!?" (Au: as you can see Zero words had rubbed off on Spike)

Looking at the map he noticed something.

Krystal and Zero's signals had vanished.

"Oh, shit,"

"Agreed spike," Bones stated.

(Back on the ground)

As we entered the dark cave I placed my hand on my comms as I got a very broken message from Spike.

"Z....o...com...in...c...yo...r..ed..me..." I looked up at the cave ceiling before speaking back.

"Spike I can hear you. We entered a cave that must be a mess with our comms don't worry we're fine," I said but I only got back the same message from before.

'Eh, I'm sure it will be fine,'

As I walked next to Krystal as she seemed set to go on forward even without comms.

I stayed close to her so we won't get split up, as we went down the rabbit hole I began to notice glowing cyan blue crystals coming out of the cave. The deeper we entered the number of crystals grew along with how brightly they glowed meaning we must have been getting closer to whatever had tugged on Krystal's psychic mind. They were pretty though, to say the least.

Krystal stopped as we entered a large cavern that held more crystals in it that made me feel I was in superman's fortress of solitude. Turning off my light I walked forward before reaching out to one of the crystals and gently breaking it off and holding the glowing gem. As my visor began to scan the crystal I began to notice something about the crystal...it was like it was humming.

Finishing my scan I moved the gem to my ear and began to hear something...almost a whisper.

"Zero," Lowering the Gem I looked at Krystal.

"What is it?"

She looked at the largest gem that started at the floor and went into the top of the cave.

"Are you seeing this?"

I nodded.

"Glowing crystals that are whispering?" I stated.

She shook her head.

"No come here you got to see this," Placing the gem back I walked over to where Krystal was.

"What are we looking a-" I stopped when I saw it.

The insides of the Gem looked like they were moving.

"Whoa..."

"Yeah,"

I turned to her.

"What is it?" she turned to me.

"I don't know but whatever it is it has a strong amount of psychic energy almost it is alive," Turning back to the Large crystal she placed her hand on her chin in thought. "Wonder what it is,"

I hummed back as I placed my rifle on my back before placing my hand on the crystal to get an energy scan from my claw but as I did this something happened.

Krystal watched as Zero place his metal claw onto the Crystal but as he did so he was knocked back by a bolt of white electricity to his visor. Falling back on the crystal follow the vixen went wide-eyed at what happened and got down on her knees to see Zero's Visor glitching.

"ZERO!" She grabbed him in her arms worried for her friend but then a voice came forward.

"Don't fret dearest Krystal your friend is alright," She turned her head to the source of the voice to see it had light up even more.

"What did you do to him?!" Krystal demanded as the Gem spoke in a calm manner.

"What we did was meant for you but he seemed to awake us by accident," Krystal narrowed her eyes as she held the protogen in her arms.

"Who are you?"

"Don't you recognize us dearest child? We are your home,"

(???)

"Ugh what hit me," I opened my eyes to see that I was in some kind room in a... temple?

Get up from the fur bed I looked around... was I in some kind of amazon room? Looking around at the room I spotted various weapons along with armor and other kinds of belongings around the room that heavily reminded me of a certain DC superhero.

Then I noticed something.

Pictures.

But what made me freeze up when I saw them was that all of them had Krystal!

Each photo was of her with someone.

For the looks of it her father and mother along with friends and family...was I on her home planet?

How? I thought it was destroyed years ago!

"You aren't my little girl," I almost dropped the photograph of Krystal with her friends when I turned to see what looked like a male version of Krystal... but older.

"Um...sorry but who are you?" I asked.

"I should ask you the same thing you in my home after all,"

I nodded.

"Fine enough, my name is Zero and how I got here I don't know," I told the fox as he looked at me with his green eyes before speaking.

"You touched the crystal didn't you,"

I nodded again.

"Damn it...well, I can't blame you for touching it. Hell I bet I would in your shoes," He told me before crossing his arms. "But I have to ask what brought you here?"

"Well I was here with my friend Krystal to find out-"

"Krystal? My daughter!" He grabbed my armor in his hands as he looked into my visor.

"Um...yes?"

"DAMN IT!" He let me go as I gave a confused look. "Krystal was supposed to touch the crystal! Not you!"

"I'm...sorry?" The old fox took a deep breath before turning to me.

"It's fine... it's fine...now Zero I have to ask you something," he told me as I nodded.

"What is it?"

"What is your relationship with my daughter?"

"Nice bike," Falco walked over to the strange-looking bike that was parked next to one of the trees of the planet with a look of awe in his eyes.

"Yep whoever made it took a while to make it," Miyu said as she popped her bubblegum with her hand on her hip.

"You two coming or what?" Fox asked as the two snapped to him before following the leader as Slippy was in front of them with what looked like a scanner tracking two pairs of footprints.

"Sorry boss it's just a nice bike," Miyu stated as she held her blaster.

"Yeah well, focus were on a mission,"

"To find your Ex look Fox it could be just some guys that decided to come out and check out the sights," Falco stated as he walked forward with a bored look on his face.

Fox turned to him.

"Didn't you see the wreckage of scale folk ships not far from here? Whoever did that must have some serious firepower so it could be bounty hunters looking for her," Fox stated as Falco rolled his eyes as he did his famous 'hmpt'.

As the group of hero's for hire walked through the forest they were meet with a cave as they stopped, Fox turned before ordering them.

"Falco, Fay stay out her and guard the exit if they try to make for a break for it, zap ‘em with a stun,"

"Oh come on the first time in ages we get some action you are putting me on guard duty!" Falco stated.

"Clam down you big baby just watch out if anyone tries to make a break for it, I’m sure you can handle any stragglers," Kat stated with a smile only getting a growl from the bird.

"More like leftovers," He whispered.

"Come on team," Fox stated with that the four entered the cave.

(Back with Zero)

Sitting in a room with Krystal's dad was...tense to say the least. Do you know that cliche when a girl's dad doesn't trust a boy? Well, that is happening right now and from the looks on the face of this spartan-like warrior, he could almost easily tear me a new one.

"So Zero you meet my daughter after saving her life from pirates?" He asked as I nodded.

"Yes sir my crew and I came in to save her as she was being chased," I told him as he held his tea in hand before blowing it.

"Interesting and you just so happen to be there when she need help?" Oh boy...

"We were...in honestly we were testing out our ship's systems when we came across her asking for help," I stated as he looked at me with 'dad' eyes.

"Hmmmm,"

"Darling be nice to the boy he saved our daughter in the end," Turning my head I was meet with what I guessed was Krystal's mother.

'Damn she takes after her mother,'

She sat down next to her husband as she smiled.

"After all, he could be our son-in-law someday,"

(Zero's visor: 0.0)

'WHAT!'

"My love please don't say that?" Krystal's dad stated.

She only giggled as turned to me.

"Tell me Zero what do you think of our daughter?" Snapping out of it I smiled.

"Well, Krystal is quite the friend ma'am. She's strong, smart, and sweet," I told her as she smiled.

"Do you love our daughter?" She asked causing both me and Krystal's dad to back up slightly.

"Uhhhhhhhhh,"

The father turned to me with 'say yes and I'll kill you'.

"I-I-I-," before I could finish the room we were in began to shake slightly.

"Oh, my looks like our time has come to an end," Krystal's mother stated as her lover crossed his arms.

"What do you mean?" I asked standing up as the room shook.

"Your body is waking up quicker than expect," Her father stated as I turned to them.

"I...I...is there anything you want me to tell your daughter?" I asked.

Krystal's dad looked at me in surprise before he could say anything her mother got up and handed me what looked like a letter.

"Give this to her Zero," She told me as I took it in my claws as the room began to shake more violently as it began to brighten. "As for my blessing, you have it,"

"What?!"

"No time my son I do hope we see you again and with my daughter next time," Before I could say anything the light got so bright I was blinded as everything went white.

(Real world)

Slowly I opened my eyes to be met with a pair of Jade ones.

"ZERO!" Krystal smiled as I awoke.

"Krystal?" I looked around to she was hovering over me and I was laying my head on something soft. "What happened?"

"When you touched the crystal it zapped you causing you to blackout on me," She hands her arms around my neck as hugged me slightly. "Don't do that again you jerk!"

"Sorry to scare you like that," I stated as felt something in my claw.

Lifting my claw to my face I saw the letter.

"I think this is for you,"

She looked at my claw as she held a look of surprise.

"When did you-"

"Long story," I told her as she took it in her hand.

Getting up (was kinda blushing when I noticed I was on her lap anime style) I watched her as she held the piece of paper in her hand.

"This is my mother's handwriting," She then looked up at me. "Where did you get this?"

"Well from your parents," A look of pure shock was on her face as she turned to the letter.

"B-b-b-but how? Cerinia was destroyed and my parents along with it," I pointed my thumb at the large ass crystal in the cave.

"Whatever this crystal is it sent me to them," I said as she looked at the crystal.

"It spoke to me,"

I titled my head.

"What does it say?" I asked.

"It said it was what was left of Cerinia," Raising an eyebrow I turned to it before turning to her.

"Do you feel alright Krystal?" I asked wondering if this was her krytonite.

"I don't know but... let's leave this place Zero," She got up as I nodded.

"Yeah this place is creepy best we take our leave before it gets weirder," I stated as began to walk.

But I stopped when I felt something pull on my claw, I turned to see Krystal holding it as I looked at her.

"Um...Krystal is something wrong?" I asked.

"Thank you Zero," I looked at her before I could say anything she ran up to me and gave me a hug as I knocked of breath.

Looking at her with surprise I then smiled as I gently returned the hug making sure I don't accidentally crush her using my cyber strength. As we hug I heard her began to cry as she held me tightly as I gently rocked her, as I began to enjoy the moment I turned when a light flashed on my face causing me to move my claw to cover the light.

"What the-?" Who was that?

Krystal must have noticed the light as she turned around still with one arm around my neck as she used her other to block the light.

"Krystal is that you?"

"What a minute Miyu?!" Krystal spoke as the light turned off.

Then I saw the four being before us.

It was the star fox team.

There you go 2,500 words (close to) so I hoped you guys and girls enjoyed this story as I had writing it. Besides that the next chapter will be Zero FINALLY meeting starfox and fox himself and oh boy will that be a chapter to write! Besides that here's Krystal in anime!
