Chapter 1: The beginning

It was morning as Rainbow Dash got up and got ready to go meet her friends. She had promised to come to Pinkie's party, even though it was her third party this week. She heard the wind softly flowing outside. The sun was shining and it was the perfect temperature for flying.

"Ah, I just love the fresh air," Rainbow said.

She flew outside, going to the sugarcube corner. The party wasn't supposed to start until in 15 minutes, but she decided to come early to get a quick snack. Pinkie wasn't there, so she guessed that she was out getting supplies for the party.

~15 minutes later~

The party had started and all of her friends were there. She could smell cupcakes everywhere.

"Hi Dashie!" Pinkie said excitedly. "I'm so glad you're here! Want a cupcake?" Pinkie said holding up a cupcake for Rainbow Dash.

"No thanks," Rainbow Dash responded, "I already had one this morning."

"Okay! Enjoy the party!" Pinkie said, dashing off to treat the other guests.

~After the party...~

Rainbow Dash flew home, exhausted and collapsed onto her soft, cozy cloud bed.

She was sleeping when she heard a loud bang in her kitchen.

"Wah?" Rainbow Dash said, getting up. "Who's there? I know karate and I'm not afraid to use it!"

She walked into her kitchen, observing it carefully. She saw a pan on the floor.

"Ugh, dumb pan," she sighed, putting the pan back on the counter.

Then, suddenly from behind, she was hit in the head. She collapsed to the floor.
