Fluttershy & Discord's Happily Ever After

It was the day of Fluttershy and Discord's wedding.

All of their friends, family, and random citizens of Ponyville Fluttershy had honestly never spoken to in her life, were sitting in the pews. Fluttershy was in the back, getting fitted into her dress.

The bridal nerves were strong and tension was high in the air.

"Are you okay, dear?" Rarity asked while measuring Fluttershy's dress one last time to make sure it fit.

"I've just never felt this way about someone," Fluttershy spoke, "and I always saw myself marrying another pony. What if it doesn't work out, what if he gets bored with me? Oh my."

"You're speaking yourself into a twist, Fluttershy," Rarity said. "When you have a problem, you shouldn't worry about what has happened, or what could happen. You should only focus on solving the problem at hand... and right now that problem is your mane! We need to get it straightened out, the wedding starts soon!"

Fluttershy sat down and let Rarity do whatever she wanted with her hair. Fluttershy's standards were low, but she told Rarity she at least didn't want a tight up-do, something flowy and natural.

Rarity decided on one long loose french braid on the side.

"I hope when I get married, I have a love as precious as your own, darling." Rarity said as she worked Fluttershy's hair into one long french braid.

"It is pretty special," Fluttershy said, smiling. "I hope it's as special for him as it is for me..."

"You know it is! A man does not just get tricked by hundreds changelings that look like you and feel nothing towards you," Rarity said, smiling. Discord would not talk about the time that the changelings tricked him into thinking the real Fluttershy was in the crowd of changelings, but he did tell Starlight, and Starlight told the entire friend group.

"I think it's time to go on! Go, darling, go!" Rarity went to find her seat, and Fluttershy prepared for the biggest, happiest moment of her life.

Here Comes the Bride played in the background, and Rara herself was the pianist. That was one quirk of having friends who know ponies, Fluttershy thought.

She walked down the isle and saw Discord in his suit at the end, and giggled to herself. Of course he wouldn't settle for a normal suit,

Discord was smiling, pushing all his nervousness and flushing it down the toilet.

Fluttershy reached Discord, and Mayor Mare stood in front of the two, holding a book.

"You may say your vows," Mayor Mare said, smiling. This was the part Fluttershy was nervous about, public speaking was never her strong point, but staring into Discord's eyes took away all her worries. She pretended they were alone, maybe having tea in her house, and she was speaking directly to him, without the audience peering in.

"Discord," Fluttershy began, "you came into my life and changed it, for the better. You showed me a new side of life that I never knew. You showed me a pony who doesn't care about what anyone else thinks, but loves me unconditionally. I have learned so much about love through being with you... I am so happy to be marrying you today," Fluttershy couldn't hold back tears, and her voice cracked throughout her speech.

"Oh Fluttershy... you showed me what it really means to love somepony. You accepted me for who I am, if anypony had to ask me I'd say you're the real princess." He snapped his fingers and suddenly Fluttershy had a crown, and a unicorn horn.

"Oh!" Fluttershy giggled, touching the crown upon her head.

"Do anything you want, Discord, dalring, just don't mess up her dress or hair!" Rarity shouted from the audience, biting her hoofnails.

Discord snapped his fingers again and the horn was gone, but the crown remained. It was a green flower crown with real bees flying around it.

"Don't bee scared! I wouldn't dare mess up such a gorgeous dress," he said, chucking to himself. Fluttershy chuckled back.

"Discord, do you take Fluttershy to be your mare, through sickness and in health, until death do us part?" Mayor Mare asked, smiling as well. It seemed like all the tension had dissipated, all that was left was happiness. Fluttershy was just happy to be with her beloved.

"Why wouldn't I? Of course I do!" Discord smiled. "Gotta get her before someone else snatches her up. I'm looking at you Angel bunny!"

Angel was in the audience and crossed his arms, eating a carrot angrily.

"Fluttershy, do you promise to care for Discord, in sickness and in health, till death do us part?"

"Yes, I do," A piece of Fluttershy's hair fell in front of her face, of which Discord swiped away lovingly.

"I now pronounce you mare and.... what is he again? A draconequus? Yes, that." Mayor Mare grinned widely, and Fluttershy felt her heart flutter up and down like a butterfly.

Fluttershy and Discord shared a short kiss, and everyone cheered.

The afterparty was amazing, everypony was dancing their hearts out. There was a cake that Pinkie Pie made, a 9-layer strawberry and chaos cake, whatever that was.

"Fluttershy! We're so happy for you!" Twilight shouted over the music, dancing to the music played live by Rara herself.

"Thank you, Twilight!" Fluttershy shouted back, smiling. She hugged Discord and kissed him on the cheek.

"Are you excited for the honeymoon?" Rainbow Dash shouted over the music, smirking.

"Why, of course! I have a hell of a honeymoon planned for us!" Discord shouted, dancing to the music and letting himself go.

Fluttershy blushed and smiled. "We don't need to talk about that!"

"Why, I've got a trophy wife now," Discord snapped his fingers and on his paw appeared a giant trophy with Fluttershy's face on it. "You expect me to NOT show her off?"

Fluttershy giggled and hugged him once more.

Suddenly the music switched to a slow song.

Fluttershy and Discord danced together, and Applejack and Rainbow Dash danced together as well. Pinkie and Cheese Sandwich were still dancing like it was a party song, though.

"Are you sure that marrying me won't drag you down, though? It won't force you to be less yourself? I just want you to be yourself," Fluttershy said.

"It never would, in fact, when I'm with you, I'm more myself!" Discord smiled and kissed her.

"I love you," Fluttershy said, curling her head into his neck.

"I love you most," Discord said back, holding her tighter so he would never have to let go.
