So there Starlight was, in the middle of nowhere, with a large crowd staring at her, and not much else being there. The giant Changeling, of course, had mysteriously vanished (something about rounding up a Maulwurf, and bemoaning the fact that Thorax couldn't pronounce the word correctly), and this left Starlight to simply wander up along the streets and try to locate a duo she knew very well. Somebody had been discussing a pair of girls who were sitting in a cafe. Yes, they hadn't moved from there since December, and the cafe had made a healthy profit off of them. So, Starlight set off up the street, looking around her trying to locate her friends. The description given had matched Watermelody and Mystery Mint, two of her close friends, and so she set off to try and locate them in this cafe of legend which she was now searching for.

Mercifully, she had a coat on. (How it returned is anyone's guess, but in the time it was gone, it redid itself to fit her new female body.) She hated to imagine what it would be like if she was doing this with no coat. Her skirt helped to protect her legs (somewhat), but her shirt wasn't exactly appropriate clothing for the freezing cold weather they were experiencing in this town. And there were no blizzards forecast, which was certainly a good thing. A thing that was good, nonetheless.

So, onwards she went, noticing how empty the place seemed to be. Her platform boots made walking along the icy streets and cracking road surface somewhat difficult, and she must have slipped a handful of times as she walked along the icy paths as she suddenly saw an entrance. Watermelody was leaning out of it.

"Behold!" she exclaimed. "Saturn's providence has brought us once together, as the seas verdous could not keep us from our greand kin!"

Starlight laughed. "You haven't changed a bit, Water." (A little nickname that Starlight liked to call Watermelody from time to time.) She indicated that she wanted to enter, and then Watermelody moved back and let Starlight in.

Mystery Mint sighed. "Has it warmed up yet? We've been in here for what feels like months!" She checked herself over. "Good, I'm not blue anywhere."

"Hade's freezing wrath could not stop our union, for the weather is but mere inconvenience."

"Not if you freeze in it," Starlight corrected her.

"OOOOH!" said three voices. Glancing over were two human Starlight Glimmer's and a filly Starlight Glimmer. "That's what you were all talking about when you were mentioning Starlight!"

"Yes," Mystery Mint answered. "But at least we are united once more. Another latte on the house, please!"

The barista (and not the banister or the barrister) nodded. "Anybody would think you are all made of money," he joked, as he turned away. "One latte, coming right up."

Starlight took a chair. "So, what did I miss?"
