HammerTime is a pegasus who has grown up in a orphanage. When she was three she watched as her mother was shot in the head and ever since she has been determined to unravel the mysteries surrounding her death. She does not want revenge just answers and she is willing to go through any kind of pain to find them. She is now 18 and works for TimeTurner (also known as Doctor Whooves) as an inventor and she has a cutie mark of cogs. She is sulky, moody and terrible with people but the only person she can talk to is her boss. One day she is on the computer and finds a video of her mother. It explains that her mother is working for a group of assasins and she quit, hoping that they would never find her or her newborn child. Accompanied by Doctor Whooves HammerTime then decides to set out and find the gang, her mothers killer and her father.

Have you ever wanted something so bad that you would risk your life to get it?................I have.

When I go to sleep I always have the same dream. Well nightmare more like. Its my third birthday and I am running, running with my mother. I trip and fall to the ground. I see my mother turn to protect me from the pursuers and I hear a single shot......

Warm, dark liquid splashes onto my face. My hands. I watch my mother fall to the ground and then I am running again. Running as far away as I can. I find myself on the steps of the orphanage and then, as I collaspe, the world submerges into a sea of black.

Life sucks. Well it does for me. I am HammerTime. And immediately what comes to you is the M.C Hammer song isnt it? Like I haven't heard that before. I am a pegusus and I'm an evergreen colour. Some rich, haughty ponies call it bogey green but I just ignore them. As if seeing their faces everyday wasn't tiring enough I have to listen to their snide remarks as well. My mane is bright, bright red so that is picked up on by them as well. Basically I'm a loser. I have no friends but I have never seemed to want any. I prefer to be alone. The only thing I can seem to pick up any interest in is making. Not crafts or sappy little dresses. No I mean tools, gadgets, inventions that can help ponykind. I work at Time Turners labatory and help him create and invent. Its the only time when I peel back the layers that surround me and show a little of my true self. I dont like being the way I am now. I want to become a normal, nice pony but whenever someone starts talking to me, I see the faces of the ponies who bully me and I see the face of my mother as she died. So I just tell them to bog off and then rumours start about me and then theres nothing I can do to redeem myself. I am an orphan. Well my mother is dead but my father is alive although I dont actually know who he is. I hate him anyway. If I saw him again I would say:"Where were you when my mother was hunted down and murdered?" He doesnt care about me anyway. If he did he would have found me by now. Humph like I care I'm happy as I am now. Alone. It works better that way. Less people to annoy me. I wish I knew what happened onthe day my mother died though. It would be nice to know why she had to die and leave me without anypony................
