Friendship is Awesome pt.1

You've heard of the story of Princess Celestia's encounter with Nightmare Moon but you've never heard the Horses' story. Equestria was divided in two. One half you know of , is Ruled by the Royal sisters, Princess Celestia and Princess Luna. The other half, however, was where horses lived. Ruled by Princess Sophia and Prince Charlie, they shared the same duties as Princess Celestia and Princess Luna. Princess Sophia was in charge of raising the sun and Prince Charlie was Prince of the Moon. Taking a look into the dreams of the horses, he saw that their nightmares were placed around nighttime. One morning, he decided to keep the moon up a little longer to help conquer the horse's fears. Princess Sophia decided to let it slide but Charlie never kept that promise. Sophia tried her best to reason with him but his greediness turned him into a wicked enchanter of the night, Stallion of the Stars. With help from Celestia, the two mares used the most powerful magic stronger than thiers. The Elements of Harmony. Using the magic, they were able to banish Stallion of the Stars into the sky. Since then, Princess Sophia took on both for day and night and harmony was maintained for generations since.

      "I didn't know that the legend was true and why Sophia hasn't told me yet." Shorty was sitting at "Le Jazz Hot" cafe, reading one of the dusty books hidden in the royal library in Los Pegasus. Wanting to know more, he galloped out of the cafe onto the cemented and asphalt grounds of Los Pegasus, home of his mentor Princess Sophia. Shorty was a dark bay stallion with a blaze covering his face. He's a bit smaller than the other stallions with a muscle mass of one hundred pounds.

        In the library was his assitant Kayden, a brown brindle Pitbull puppy. As Shorty rushed into the book cases, Kayden stepped in front of him. Shorty slid as if he were a reiner and pushed the carpet up high.

"Move out of the way Kayden." The puppy remained at the same place with a peice of paper in his paws.

"Not before a weekliy report! What is the color of a zebra's skin?" Shorty rolled his eyes at the easy question.

" Black skin with white stripes."

"Correct! What breed of horse has Equine Cushing's Syndrome?"

"Bashkir Curly Horse."

"Yep. Now what year did racehorse, Shergar, die?" Shorty lit up and HA!'d.

"Trick question! Shergar dissappeared in 1983!" Kayden leaped to the podeum and checked off a list of To Do's.

"Great! Three out of three, that's a pefect weekly report!" Shorty walked away from the dog to the history section of the library. Kayden climbed up the ladder, ready to find the book Shorty needed until his eyes glowed green. Out came sprks until a letter emerged from them.

"It's a letter from Princess Sophia!

My Dearest Student[ Sisque Shuttle,/i] Shorty,I must inform you that i will be staying with Pony Ruler, Princess Celestia of Equestria, on Royal business and would like you to move closer to us to continue your studies. I have made arrangements for you to stay in the local library in Ponyville.**

Wow Shorty! We get to move to Ponyville!" Shorty looked at Kayden with  hard eye an flat ears, and his blaze tinted red.

"Are you KIDDING! I heard Ponyville is an old run down village with old fashioned horses and ponies, and worst of all... It's full Of PONIES! A bunch of way too clueless and laughing ponies!" Kayden fanned away the steam from the stallions head and decided to put away some books. Boy, were they heavy.

"Lighten up Shorts, you and I both know that's a stereotype." Shorty came face to face with Kayden with a crazy look in his eye, letting the poor puppy fall and drop the books.

"Or is it? But I have to go anyways since the Princess made arrangements. A Little odd for such short notice, right?" Kayden scowled at the horse and picked up the fallen books.

"Just wait Shorty, you'll see how nice it'll be." Shorty rolled his eyes and sighed.
