Reno

Kayden and Shorty made it back to Ponyville, away from Peanut and his relatives.

"Wasn't that fun Shorty!" Kayden had the best time eating all he wanted. He prefers gemstones like a dragon but still had that dog in him that devours everything. Shorty groaned.

"I didn't know that there's so many nut that you can put in pie." He walked sluggishly an looked at the giant lump in his stomach.

"I'd also like to visit Carousel Boutique. It was once owned by the element of Generosity, Rarity, but then was passed down to her niece. Rarity's little sister, Sweetie Bell."

"What would be sweet is the sky. I heard it was supposed to be clear today." It wasn't. Clouds roamed the sky like cattle in a fresh pasture. Shorty heard someone yelling then was bodyslammed.

        Shorty was on the ground with dizzy eyes, on top of him was a younger pegasus colt, maybe a yearling, with unusual black tobiano markings. The whites slashed his shoulder and the markings from his hindquarters ran down his legs.

"Sorry,didn't see you there." He didn't sound sorry but quickly helped Shorty up. "I'm Reno, the baddest flyer in Cloudsdale."

"I bet, now can you help us? Why is the sky cloudy? I heard it was supposed to be clear." Reno blew from his mouth then flew on top of a close cloud. His wings were, unusual. When opened, rings of white and black seemed to put you in a trance.

           "Yeah, I'll get it done but i'm far too busy practicing.

"Practicing for what? Falling." Kayden fell on his back with laughter. Shorty usually wasn't funny but his sarcasim was gold.

"Hahaha.... No. For the Wonderbolts." Reno pointed to a nearby poster of the costumed ponies. "It's my dream to become the first horse to join their group, but these cloud chores are getting in my way."

"They're probably not letting you in because of the lousy job you're doing." Reno raised his hoof.

"HEY! I can clear the clouds like THAT!"

"Prove it."

         Reno took on his challenge and then zipped through the clouds in a black and white haze. His hindquarters bumped the clouds and his wings sliced through them. He gently floated to the ground, enhancing his awesomeness. His chest puffed out and his head held high.

"What'd I tell you? Just.Like. THAT!" Shorty's mouth was wide open in awe, staring at the now cleared sky.

"You should see the look on your face. I gotta go, maybe we can hang out again!" In a flash, Reno was gone.

              "Whoa, he's amazing!" Kayden followed Reno into the sky with his eyes until he dissappeared but Shorty already left him.

"Let's just go find this Boutique."
