Darkness is in Everyone

Nightmare Night.

The time of screams, candies, ponies in costumes and fun. The town was decorated with scary decorations like pumpkins, ghosts, spiders, bats, etc. This event was created based on the story of Nightmare Moon. They said that if you won't make a sacrifice in candies, she will devour you. Wearing a costume allowed to be safe from heir ravenous hunger.

Ponies were wearing costumes made by themselves. One ponie was wearing the costume of a mouse. Another costume of an apple. And another costume of a robot.

'Some of them are or good or average. I guess that what only stops you is your imagination.' Sokar thought while watching ponies. He too made a costume for himself. It was representing Fallen Angel. On his back, there was a pair of black wings. He used one of his most common abilities, transformation his body and clothes that he wore. He was wearing a black robe and under it was black slim armor. His eyes and mouth were normal to some degree. The sclera of his eyes was white and pupils purple.

He currently was walking towards Rarity home. He wanted to check on her. She didn't leave her boutique, which was strange. When he appeared, he knocked on the door twice and they were opened by Rarity sister, Sweetie Belle. She was wearing a pumpkin costume.

"Happy Nightmare Night!" Sweetie Belle greeted Sokar.

"Happy Nightmare Night, Sweetie Belle. Is Rarity still in her house?" Sokar asked her.

"Yeah. She still is. All this time is admiring the Moon in the sky. Don't know what's got into her." Sweetie Belle replied with the sigh.

"Can I come in?" Sokar asked her.

"Of course! Rarity friends are my friends!" She answered with a smile. The doors opened and Sweetie Belle led Sokar to the Rarity room. When they entered, they saw her watching the moon behind the window.

"Hi, Rarity." Sokar greeted Rarity.

"Hi, Sokar. Nice costume."

"Thanks, Rarity. And what is yours? A naked pony? That would be hilarious." Sokar joked.

"No. Something special." Rarity said, still admiring the moon. Sokar intrigued by that he looked at it and saw that the moon was starting to be covered by black, smoke shadows. Sokar now knew what she meant by that. 'So they decided to join the party. Let them. That night is getting interesting with each second passed.'

"What do you mean by that sister? And what does it do with the moon?" Sweetie Belle asked confused about it.

"Everything" Rarity said now with a much darker tone. She turned to them with a crazy smile on her face and which scarred her sister.

"Rarity... You're scaring me..." Sweetie Belle said with fear in her voice.

'Too bad that I didn't bring Popcorn with me." Sokar though sadly.

"You should be. It's gonna get even scarier than before hon. Prepare to witness the scariest Nightmare Night in your life!" Rarity said with dark delight in her voice. Soon the dark smoke started to envelop her body and then a dark voice spoke out. "My Queen. We are here. It's been so long since we were together. "

The smoke started to sink into her chest and horn. Her chest started to bulk up and swelling. She grew bigger than before. The coat turned from white to black like a sky. The back let out a popping sound and her cutie mark change from three crystals to a constellation.

Then she fell and hit the ground. Her legs started to gain more muscle and turn black. She watched her biceps becoming more buffed than before for her pleasure. Her eyes became more draconic, cold pale blue with glitter on them. Her neck grew longer and the muzzle started to push forward. Her teeth became much sharper. Horn became longer and spiral. Her mane became longer, multicolored with star-like glitters on it.

She nearly spits out the droll but she quickly covers her muzzle with her hanky."No. No droll. That wouldn't be ladylike."

"Rarity... is that still you?" Sweetie Belle asked with her jaw dropped to the ground.

'I thought that I saw everything. Guess I was wrong.' Sokar thought.

"It's still me Sweetie Belle and more." Nightmare Rarity said to her sister.

"Wow Rarity. You must be very tall like Celestia or even more. How did you do that?" Sweetie Belle started to get better on her sister which has drastically changed.

"Let me guess. You become the host to the Nightmare Forces I'm right?" Sokar asked smiling at Rarity.

"You guessed right darling. A long time ago I became a host for them. I promised them that they could come to visit The Nightmare Night but they need a host to manifest in this world. And well... Being their host has... benefits." Rarity explained to them. Suddenly a yellow cobra-like shadow appeared next to her and started to stroke her chin.

"Did you missed us, my Queen?" the shadow asked Rarity.

"You know, you don't have to call me like that Jerome." Rarity said to her servant. Then another shadow appeared on her side. He was all black and his eyes were red. His head had features of the bird. He looked at Sokar with a smile on his face. "Well hello there Sokar. It's been a long time since we saw each other."

"True, if I remember correctly it was... 10.000 years ago, Larry, it seems you changed with your brother, Jerome" Sokar answered to the Shadowfright.

"You know them, darling?" Rarity asked Sokar, surprised that Sokar knew the Nightmare Forces.

"Yes. We knew each other for a long time. I helped to emigrate to the darker side of the moon. They were dying. I couldn't let that happened. Because of my work and my brother their kind grew and become natural inhabitants of the moon." Sokar scratched his chin, remembering the time when he and his brother helped Shadowfright's.

"For that our kind thank you. Without your help, we could perish." Jerome said to his kind savior.

"It's nothing, Jerome." Sokar turned to the Rarity. "So, are we going or what?"

"One-moment dear." Rarity started using her cosmetics and when she finished she looked like she was wearing a costume of a skeleton. "Now then, shall we going?"

"Yes!" Sweetie Belle said to her sister jumping happily.

"I think we forgetting something." Sokar had a feeling of deja vu.

"You mean Spike? You're right. Did you saw him?" Rarity asked.

"That's the weird part. I didn't saw Twilight neither Spike while I was heading to you." Sokar answered, shrugging his shoulders. "Probably they still trying to choose their costume... I got an idea!" Suddenly Sokar opened a small rift surprising his friends. It showed the castle of Twilight. "It seems that Twilight and Spike currently are still in the castle. The spell I used often shows the place where the person I'm looking for is."

"If you planning to visit them, take this." Rarity showed Sokar a blue crystal that she was holding her magic grasp. Sokar took it and looked at it curious about it.

"What's that?" Sokar asked.

"That crystal is a gift for the Spike. He likes very much gems and crystal. When he asks you about it, tell that this is a gift from me." Rarity explained to him.

"I see. I was planning to get there anyway. Well then! See you later Rarity and happy Nightmare Night!" Sokar said before disappearing in a cloud of black flame. Rarity turned to his sister and said.

"Come on my Little Pumpkin!" She and Sweetie Belle opened the door and they left the boutique and started heading towards the village. "Let's make this night ours!"

Sokar reappeared right before Twilight castle. He looked at it and saw that it was made of crystals. And it was big. Big enough to house a small family with it. Sokar chuckled at its design. 'The one that made that place had a very little imagination but it's not my place to judge a book by its cover' He knocked the doors and after a second they have been opened by Spike who was surprised to see Sokar in his costume.

"Whoa! That's one of the hell costume men!"

"Thanks, Spike. Can I come in?"

"Of course!" He let Sokar in and he saw a pile of books. Many books were either on the ground or the table. He noticed Twilight walking around the circle.

"Hi, Twilight, what's wrong, you seem troubled" Sokar said catching her attention.

"Oh? Sorry about that. I'm trying to find a costume that would suit me and Spike but I couldn't find anything!" Twilight lowered her head in shame.

"That's sucks. I came right after visiting Rarity and she wanted me to give Spike this." Sokar pulled out of his pocket a crystal and showed it to Spike. "She said that's a gift for you, my friend."

"Really? Oh boy! Thanks, I appreciate it!" Spike took the crystal from Sokar's hands and in a second he swallowed it. Soon after his stomach started to let out growling noises which worried him, Twilight and made Sokar raised his eyebrow in curiosity. "Eee... I think is something is wrong with that gem..."

'Oh boy. That crystal must be magical. And now his body adapts to its power' Sokar thought to himself while Twilight approached Spike.

"What you mean Spike?" Twilight asks his assistant, worried about him.

"I starting to feel..." Spike suddenly started to grow. His muscle growth to the size of the trunk of free and hardened. He became taller than Celestia and even more. His chest exploded forward in power. Pecs and abs hardened and bulged. The tail became longer and spikes growth from it. Claws on hands and feet grew longer and sharper than before. Spike's jaw pushed forward and teeth grow sharper. Spikes grew in length along his spine and head. After the moment where Spike was standing, now stood a dragon bulging with power and strength that could crush anything and anyone in his way. "...hard?"

'Holly Molly... Things get interesting the more time I and my brother spends in this world. A little corruption won't hurt.'

"Spike are you okay!?" Twilight asked his friend that now was taller than a full-grown tree.

"I'm fine Twilight. But look at me now! I never felt so good in my life!" he flex his biceps that now looked like watermelons. Twilight turned to Sokar with a furious look on her face.

"What did you do to him?" She asked him sending a glare towards him.

"Heh heh heh you could say that was part of a greater game, Twilight" Sokar answered to her.

"What the hay was that supposed to mean? If you won't tell I will send you to Tartarus!" Twilight threatened him while frowning at him. Sokar looked at her with a devilish smile on his face and for the moment his eyes glowed purple.

"Let's just say that was a gift from the Queen. You will see her now, my dear."

"Queen? What Queen? Tell me now." Twilight was started to get impatient with Demon God when suddenly a voice spoke out.

"He meant me, Twilight" they looked to the source of the voice and they saw Queen Rarity, standing near the doors. Twilight and Spike were shocked, seeing her friend like that.

"Rarity? Is that you? You- you look huge!" Spike said while blushing at his lover's new form.

"Look who's talking my not-so-little Spikey-Wikey. You look like a hulking monster that could scare the entire town out of candys, my dear and I must admit you are looking good, even for a handsome guy like you, my dear," she complained to his new form. "After all you've always been one cute handsome dragon."

"You mean... You did this to me?" Spike pointed with his claws at his face.

"All of it with Sokar help. I thought with one big dragon could get many candies, then what an even bigger dragon get? Are you complaining?" Rarity explained and asked her lover.

"Not really..." he said flexing his big arm. Rarity turned to her friend and looked down, seeing that she was bigger from her. "I'm sorry for that Twilight. I wanted to give Spike one night where he could stand by my side and enjoying this event."

"It's fine Rarity. I understand that." Twilight accepted her apology and then she turned her head towards Sokar."I'm sorry for accusing you of doing that."

"It's alright Twilight. You had a reason for being angry at me." Sokar reasoned with her and he looked two love-birds. "Now that you have your costume Spike, you can enjoy this night with your Queen."

"You right. Thanks for helping Sokar. You're the best! See you later Twilight!" The two turned to the doors and left with Spike having a little problem getting through them. Sokar now turned to Twilight while she looked at him nervously.

"Now then. Now that we are alone we can talk about your costume... Twilight." For the moment his true form was revealed themselves. Twilight started to fell chills going down to her spine.
