Darkness is in Everyone

Celestia was watching everything that was going in the Ponyville from her balcony. What she saw surprised her. First Sokar and Vrede costumes. Secondly Rarity becoming the Queen of Nightmare Forces and Spike sudden growth. Thirdly the return of Styx and Twilight bonding with her. She was proud of her and worried that the power she required will overwhelm her, but she believed her abilities and Sokar. After she told Luna to give a message to Sokar, she was waiting for him. Sooner or later he would arrive.

This is a mistake, Celestia. Hissed in Celestia's head deep voice, that she was starting to hear a long time ago but she was ignoring it.

I've been hiding this for too long. They deserve to know. Celestia answered it. Beside, Sokar, and Vrede would sense you sooner or later.

It will bring us nothing but trouble.

No, it won't. Why are you so afraid that I will tell them about you?

Because it will only bring you pain. Everyone will turn away from you. You will become the object of search or worse, you will become a monster in their eyes. But if you use my power, they will respect you, love you. Only if you embrace my gift.

I don't know if I'm ready for that. I'll decide when I talk to Sokar. And only then. Celestia said to the voice which responded in a growl. Soon they heard knocking to the door and someone said behind them. "Are you there Celestia? You wanted to see me."

"You can come in." She responded to it and soon Sokar went through them seeing Celestia with a worrying look.

"Something happened Celestia? You sound like it did." Sokar asked the princess.

"It's... complicated. I wanted you to keep that as a secret. You and your brother are the only ones that I can trust." Celestia said to Sokar who raised his eyebrow, curious about that.

"Okay... So what's about it?" Sokar asker her, though knowing what she meant.

"It would be better that I show you." From Celestia back sprouted two long serpent heads with sharp fangs, both of them were glowing from red to purple and demonic tentacle hands. Her eyes started to glow with a deep yellow color. At her side, a purple-black portal opened and from it appeared an imp-like creature, wearing rugs on him.

"Elo monkey! Long time no see you mate!" The imp said in a British accent.

"I could say the same about you Darkling." Sokar greeted his old friend.

"I see you know each other," Celestia said in an amused voice.

"Yep. The same I could say about your little friend. I know that you hear me Darkness." Sokar said to one of the serpent heads.

"I never thought that we will meet again, Sokar." The Darkness hissed through the head to Sokar who smiled at him.

"Same here, old friend, many decades have passed since we saw each other and if I remember correctly it was... 10.000 years ago, I don't know. My memory is not serving me right now." Sokar said to him, scratching his chin.

"You knew I was his host?" Celestia said, slightly surprised by that. "From when?"

"From the moment I sensed dark essence seeping from the castle, back at the Ponyville. Even a child could guess that." Sokar answered her.

"Oh. I guess you're right." Celestia shook her head, focusing on the main topic. "Either way. I wanted to show that to my sister, but I don't know how will react at that." Celestia admitted to him.

"I understood that. But hiding things like this will only push your friends away from you." Sokar said to Celestia.

"I know but... This power, this... Darkness. My sister has suffered because of our mistake and to this day, she still has nightmare's about the time when her jealousy drove her nearly mad. I'm afraid that she will suffer more when she will see me like it." Celestia said to him.

"Celestia. Listen to me. It doesn't matter what happened in the past. What's done is done. We must move forward and learn from our mistakes. To make a better future. Don't let it control you." Sokar cheered her and that made her feel a little better.

"Thanks, Sokar. You're right." Celestia slightly chuckled.

"Oh. I'm gonna cry." Darkness teased at that and both of them send him a glare. "What?"

"You know how to ruin the moment, don't you?" Sokar deadpanned to the Darkness. He sighted before they looked at each other. "So how long are his host, if can ask that?"

"To be honest, from the moment when Twilight received her castle. I was walking in my garden on the night when I heard him. I felt the pain coming from my back and it made fall to my knees. Soon those serpents and tentacles appeared from me. I was scared back then and I tried to rip them off from me but it didn't work. From there it whispers to me, promising me to give power but every time I ignore it. I heard him whenever I'm alone. It droves me crazy! Luna becomes worried about and gets suspicious." Celestia explained to Sokar everything that was happening in the past.

"Hm..." Sokar was tapping his chin before speaking. "You're afraid of it. Why?"

"Because I'm afraid that I lose myself. Having too much power can corrupt ponies. Including us Sokar. Deep inside there is lust. But not ordinary lust. I'm afraid that If I follow the path to gain it, I will become nothing than a hollow shell of myself." Celestia confessed to him.

So she too has the same craving as Twilight. I already know how to help her. "You fight against it. It's not the first time I saw something like that. People I've met had the same problem as you, Celestia. And I don't blame you for that. Everypony has a part inside that makes them craving for strength. Tell you what. It can be used for good my dear." Sokar said to her.

"What you mean?" Celestia asked him confused about it.

"The world is a mixture of Light and Darkness but sometimes too much Light creates an even more dreadful Darkness. People forget that the Light begets the Darkness and without each other, they cannot exist. Sadly only a few persons like me know about that. Darkness consumes everything true, but it hides many beautiful things and sometimes can give us strength beyond our imagination. I experienced that. When I was young, I dedicated myself to learn and harnessed both the Light and Dark arts of magic. Darkness is not bad after all. It's the people that wield it makes it look like that. I decided to use it for the Good and help people, not just for my gain. Just like you." Sokar explained to her.

"He's right. Think about it. With my power, you will become a God. Give you a strength that everyone can only dream off. What's your answer Princess or should say, Goddess?" Darkness encouraged her.

Celestia bit her lips and thought about it. The power started to seduce her and thinking about it alone, sent a way of pleasure across her body. Maybe Sokar was right? Maybe she should embrace the dark and became a Goddess? But what about her subjects, her sister and her student? She decided to thought about it later, as she made her decision. "I accept it."

The Darkness smiled widely and Sokar backed off slightly to enjoy the show. The serpent heads bit her shoulders and Celestia fell to her knees, letting out a moan full of sexual pleasure. The heads started pumping a purple liquid into her veins and her body started to change. Her muscles started to grow on her entire body. Her muscles pushed forward, fueling with power and muscles. Her entire coat was turned black as her mane and tail. Teeth in her muzzle turned into sharp fangs that could shred meat in pieces.

After the transformation was complete, the heads drew back and her wounds were instantly healed by Darkness. Breathing quickly and tiredly, Celestia stand up, taller than before, and looked at her body. The strength was coursing her new form and she was enjoying every second that passed. She flexed her biceps which looked like bowling balls.

"This is incredible. I fell the power, coursing through my body." Celestia admitted to Sokar.

"That's perks of being the Darkness host m' lady but, you have to rest now. The process took out a lot from you." Darkling said to Celestia.

"You're right. I feel tired right now. I will go to sleep now. Sokar..."

"You don't have to tell me. I'm leaving." Sokar said and started heading towards the balcony and decide to use his wings for once. He jumped from it and sprouted them and begin to fly towards Ponyville to see what happened during his absence.

Celestia sighed with relief. She grabbed the blanket and lay down to the bed, hearing it made cracking sounds under the pressure of her new body but she didn't mind. She closed her eyes and on her face, a smile appeared.

The flight was a nice changed from constantly teleporting from one place to another for Sokar. Breathing fresh air, he released it. Looking down he saw his brother with Twilight at his side.

'Damn. It looks like a party has started without me.' Sokar thought. He started going down but slowly to not cause panic among ponies. He landed right before them, making them jump in surprise, mostly Twilight.

"Hello there!" Sokar greeted them.

"Sokar what the hell! You nearly give me having a heart attack!" Twilight scolded for that.

"Heh. Sorry about that. I couldn't stop myself from that. It was a perfect opportunity." Sokar told her.

"C'mon Twilight, you must admit, it was funny!" Vrede cheerfully said.

"No, it wasn't!"

"Yes, it was!"

During their argument, they didn't notice a black cloud coming towards, with a certain pony on it. When it was above Sokar, the pony who was at it, shook the cloud and made it rain on him, making his body wet. The group was surprised at that. Sokar blinked few times in confusion before lowering his head, making his hair cover his eyes. Soon they heard laughter coming from the cloud, which belonged to Rainbow Dash who was wearing a Shadowbolt costume.

"Rainbow Dash! That was mean! You ruined his costume!" Twilight scolded her for doing that.

"Don't be like that egghead! It was fun! Right Sokar?" Dash looked at him who still was having his head lowered before answering.

"'Fun' you say?" Sokar turned to her with a manic smile and glowing eyes, he said in a deep, twisted and demonic voice. Dash face turned pale and in with a blink she flew in the other direction. Twilight and Vrede sweet dropped at that and their face was in the color of light blue.

"I forget to mention, that my brother is taking pranks sometimes too serious. When he gets like that, you better pray he won't run after you." Vrede whispered to Twilight, covering his left side of the face with his hand.

"Pointed taken." Twilight agreed on that. Soon after that, Sokar has taken a few deep breaths before calming himself down. "I think you overdid it Sokar..." Twilight added.

"She deserved that. Now my mood went out of the window." Sokar sadly said.

"Don't be so dramatic brother. The night is still young. There is still time for fun!" His brother cherries him and he slightly grins at that.

"Heh. You're right. But that has to wait. I need to talk with Luna. It's important." Sokar said.

"I agree with that." Said Luna which she was behind him.

"Jesus Christ. You can give someone a heart attack by doing that." Sokar deadpanned.

"A habit I guess. Come on, let's talk in private." Luna said walking towards a dark alley with Sokar at her side, who waved his hand at the two. When they been alone, Luna looked at Sokar with a serious look at her face.

"Now then. Does my sister is okay?" Luna asked him. Sokar sighed knowing that will be a long talk.

"You can say that. Before I continue I want to ask something. Does your sister have been acting strange or out of order. I forget to ask you about that." Sokar confessed to her.

"Well... She was, as you described, acting strangely. When I was passing her room, I heard her scream. Peering through the doorways, I noticed her. It looked like she was talking to someone. It worried me. I decided to look into her dreams to see what was going on and I regretted it. Something ... dark has trapped me in her dream, deprived me of control over the dreams. It called himself the Darkness. He said that if I entered her mind again, he would kill me. Since then, I am afraid for my sister that this creature wants to use her for an evil purpose." Luna explained to him.

So she decided to look into her dreams? Bad move. Sokar thought before saying. "That was a stupid thing to do Luna. The Darkness is overprotective about his host. Entering her mind was like a death wish."

"You sound like you knew this creature, Sokar, what is that monster? In my life, I never meet being of that power." Luna said.

"I knew that you said that. I tell everything but you have to keep that as secret got it?" Sokar warned her and Luna nodded at that. Sighed before speaking, Sokar told her everything about the Darkness, it's history and it's own war against Angelus, his counterpart, and how long was it lasted, leaving Luna shocked.

"Then we must stop him before it will cause harm to someone!" Luna shouted and started leaving but Sokar grabbed her by the wing.

"Whoa! Do you want to end you're life so badly?" Sokar asked her.

"I won't be standing still when that monster will harm my sister!" Luna declared.

"I know that your worried but blind charge will only end your life. Besides the Darkness, it's not evil as you may think."

"What you mean?" Luna asked Sokar.

"Darkness wasn't and never he was evil. The one that you should be afraid of is Angelus. My race was born at the same time as them and that let us watch them. Over time, Angelus wanted to coat the world with her light but the Darkness said that doing that would bring the end to the universe. Since then the war was started between them and me with Vrede took a side with Darkness. After her demise, the Darkness disappeared from our radar, but we knew that he decided to choose a vessel in mortal's world." Sokar explained to her.

"So that's means that my sister is safe?" Luna was unsure about this.

"Yep. You don't have to worry about her monkey." Darkling said appearing from the shadows.

"And who are you?" Luna asked the imp who was sitting on the trash can.

"My name is Darkling m' lady. Servent of Darkness and his host." Darkling waved his hand.

"You mean my sister? How long have you been spying on us?", asked Luna him.

"Long enough to know that you're are at the good side. Your friend can help with many things and I won't lie about that." Darkling assured her.

"I see. You said that the Angelus meet her end Sokar. How?" Luna asked him.

"We couldn't kill her because it would cause the end of the world. So we trapped her in the artifact called 'The Prism of Brothers'. It was constructed to hold the Sister of Light inside it for eternity. I hidden it in the placed where no one will ever find it and only I knew where is it." Sokar said to Luna.

"Alright then." Luna sighed before speaking further. "Now that my sister is host to him now what?"

"Your sister started to control over the power the Darkness gave her and started to change her body but not the mind, so don't worry. Celestia is still the same as you know her before. Her power will over time increase but not until she will start to devour hearts." Sokar said to her.

"Devour hearts!? Do you mean that MY sister has to eat the hearts of living beings to strengthen herself? Are you crazy!?" Luna exclaimed at Sokar's faces.

"Calm down yourself. The Everfree Forest will be a perfect place for that. Did you though that I won't think about it?" Sokar calmed her down a little.

"If that's the case then I can accept it. But if I hear about the killed ponies with their hearts ripped away, I will personly end your life. Do you understand me?" Luna threatened him, which make him slightly chuckle.

"I understand. You don't have to worry about that, my dear. I got it under control." Sokar responded to her.

"I hope you're right, otherwise you will feel my wrath, I can assure that no one has experienced before. You can be the first one." Luna said before leaving Sokar and Darkling alone in the alley.

"She's sure can make a speech with an attitude like that mate. I would watch out if was you because you might have made her your enemy, and that would pissed off her sister, Twilight and her friends." Darkling said to Sokar.

"Don't worry my friend. With the right training, she will master the power within her in no time." Sokar assured Darkling before too leaving the alley with him the only person in there before he disappeared into the shadows.
