When the night started to end with Nightmare Night, everyone started to get back home. Including Twilight who was yawing out of exhaustion. Twilight allowed Spike to sleep the night in Rarity home. When she was near the doors of the castle, she saw that they didn't fit. Sighing on that she turned herself into a mass of black goo and crawled across the walls to the balcony of her room and her bed, revealing her true form now more muscular and bigger earlier.

Then she was pulled to the dream by something or... someone. She felt like someone was shaking her. Twilight tiredly opened her eyes and saw Styx in his gooey form. She raised her head, confused about that.

"Styx? Is that you?" Twilight asked him.

"Yes, it is. I was afraid that you won't wake up." Styx said, concerned about her.

Twilight stood up and looked around her. The place where she was now, was dark. An endless abyss was extending and extending with no end. There were no lights. The only thing that was dominating here was the shadows. There was no sky nor stars, only darkness around them. Like stars, on the night, they were glowing with a faint light that looked that it could be extinguished at any moment.

"What is this place?" Twilight was concerned about it.

"It's the deepest corner of your mind, my dear star." Someone said in the voice that Twilight could recognize anywhere in the world.

"Show yourself, Nightmare! I know that you are here!" Twilight shouted to the darkness around her.

Nightmare giggled before speaking "Nothing can hide from you, doesn't?" Then from the ground appeared a black and purple goo that formed two blue eyes and mouth on it. "How long was it since we saw each other, ah yes. When your friends and you interrupted our plan bringing the Eternal Night."

"What do you want?" Twilight demanded.

"I wanted to congratulate you. Not only you have accepted Styx's offered but also become a friend to this... demon." Nightmare said with a growl at the end of her sentence, "If I want to be honest I never saw an entity like him or his brother in my existence."

"How do you know him?" Twilight asked.

"Curious aren't you? Why won't you ask him instead? You can stop hiding, I see you hiding in the dark, demon." Nightmare said looking at her left side, confusing Twilight and Styx. Then black flames sprouted from the ground and formed a shadow figure, who was Sokar himself.

"You know how to ruin a surprise don't you?", Sokar deadpanned at her, "You don't have a sense of humor."

"Says the one that scared the mare because of one tiny prank." Nightmare added and he growled at that.

"Wait a second. How do you know each other?", asked Twilight who was confused about the whole situation.

"When I was asleep I sensed her presence in my dreams and after we meet, we had a chit-chat between us if you can say that and I must say it was an interesting talk because she told me many curious things and I bet you want to know them, don't you?" Sokar answered the lavender alicorn who nodded.

"Very well... Nightmare Forces have chosen Luna as their host because of her jealousy towards Celestia. Ponies started to praise her and loved her but that left her blind towards her sister's pain, anger, hatred. That's when Nightmare Forces offered her becoming Nightmare Moon but she wasn't under their influence. She rebelled against her sister out of her sheer will. After the Elements returned Luna to her true form, Nightmare was left alone in the deepest corners of the Dream World. For many years she was watching everything, trapped between dreams and reality. That's when she saw my dream. At first, I wanted to punish her for invading my privacy but she told me that she wanted to ask me for help. I listened to her story and agreed with her. The plan was to find a willing host. Luna wasn't an option so that leaves you, my dear."

"That is why I came here Twilight. I wanted to give you the power of Nightmare Pony. Unlike Luna, I don't want to bring Eternal Night. Instead, I want to help you. I will stand at your side no matter what happens. I can assure that you will be in charge. So... what do you say about it?" Nightmare asked the alicorn.

Twilight thought about the offer. It could be a trick that Nightmare set up for her. She didn't want to put Equestria or her friends in danger because of one small mistake. Or making the same one as Luna did. She looked at Sokar who nodded and later at Styx who too nodded. Taking a deep breath she said, "I say that I believe you Nightmare. I accept."

"Very good.", Nightmare said and looking at the shadow, "Sokar if you would-"

"Of course. I'm already disappearing." and with that Sokar left them alone in black smoke. She turned to Twilight and started moving towards her, first coating her legs, then her body and finally her head causing her to scream in pain and everything turned black.

Twilight gasped for air as she felt like something was crushing her chest. Sweat was forming at her forehead from stress and panic. She thought it was a nightmare. She rubbed her eyes with her hoof, but when she looked at them, she saw that they were black. Looking at her body, which too was black. Panicking, she quickly got out of bed and saw herself in the mirror. Her reflection made her gasp in shock.

She looked like Nightmare Moon but with changes. Her mane tail was black purple and her eyes were dark amethyst. The same could be said about her coat now from purple was changed to black. Unlike Moon, her body was even more buffed from the agile body of Luna or her own. She also was wearing a similar armor that the princess wore except that it was the color as her draconic eyes.

Twilight watched her new body from every angle, admiring and savor every moment watching it. She smiled, revealing sharp teeth in her mouth. 'If I would show like that, everyone would be scared because of 'Nightmare Moon returned'' Twilight thought facetiously.

The door of her room suddenly opened showing Vrede "Hello Twilight! How you do-" He stopped at his tracks when he saw Twilight in her new body. She turned to him and for a moment they looked at each other. Vrede closed doors after that but Twilight opened them, furious at him.

"WHY ARE YOU ACTING AS NOTHING HAPPENED!!!" She shouted, using the Royal Voice for the first time that echoed through halls of the castle, making Vrede scream and fall on the ground.

"Jesus Christ! Do you want me to lose my hearing?!" Vrede said, getting up and clenching his left ear.

"Didn't you know that you should knock the door before entering?", she asked him.

"Of course I was! I just didn't know that you were already on your legs!", he answered her.

"Then don't forget next time when you want to enter someone's room. Got it!?" Twilight said to him.

"Okay, okay! Jeez. You mares always make a fuss about everything." Vrede joked, making Twilight glare at him. Suddenly they heard someone vomiting and it sounds crossed through entire halls. Vrede sweet drop knowing who belonged to.

"Holy fuck. I didn't think that it would be more serious than I thought."

"Who was that?", Twilight asked him.

"It's my brother. He ate a huge amount of candy and now he has a stomach ache and started to vomit in the bathroom." Vrede explained. Both of them started to walk towards the source of sound until they reached the station bathroom. Vrede has knocked the entrance twice before saying "Are you, okay brother?"

"I FELL LIKE I'M THROWING UP MY STOMACH! *Bleee*" Sokar said before again started to vomit. After a while, he left the bathroom looking like he gut up his guts. "I regret everything..."

Shortly Vrede entered the bathroom, leaving the two outside alone. "So how are feeling Twilight? Any change in magic?" Sokar asked her.

"To be honest I-" Suddenly they heard Vrede started to puke but this time it could think from the sound that he had worse.

"REALLY!? YOU TOO!?" Sokar facepalmed himself. Physically and mentally.

"SHUT THE FUCK UP! Maintaining it was worse than puking right now!" Vrede said before continuing to puke.

"*Sigh* Anyway I want to repeat my question Twilight. How are you feeling?" Sokar asked her.

"Better than ever. The only negative side effect would be if Princesses or my friends saw me like that." Twilight stated.

"That is understandable. For that I recommend you to stay at the castle until we found a way to explain to them." Sokar said.

"I think that would be the best idea for now. After all, I will have time to learn to control my new powers. I don't want to repeat a situation that I had in the past." Twilight said remembering her first Flare at the exam in the school.

"It's fine. I'll gonna take a walk through Ponyville while my brother is puking. I need to collect my thoughts." he said to her and she nodded at that. With a blink, he disappeared and appeared before the castle and started to walk, thinking about what has happened. He sat on the bench and get deep into his thoughts.

'Okay. First Twilight has bonded to the Old One, now she has become a Nightmare Pony. Sooner or later her friends will found that out. Rainbow Dash probably already gets suspicious and Rarity is too a Nightmare Pony and that allows her to detect other Nightmare Ponies as well. Celestia and Luna too will detect that. Damn, so little time to plan everything. I have to play my cards right if I want to keep Twilight out of Nobles. They'll probably start to say things that aren't true and because of that, the public will be against Twilight. *Sigh* I never liked politician and that one of the reasons why.' Sokar thought to himself. Then he heard someone approaching from behind him. He ignored it until he turned around and saw Rainbow Dash, holding in her hoofs a baseball bat. She panicked and hidden it behind and started to grin at him.

"What you doing with that bat, Dash?" Sokar asked her, raising his eyebrow.

"Oh. Hehe. I wanted to ask you if you want to play Baseball with me." Dash said innocently to him.

Sokar already knew she was lying through her teeth. She was sweating and started to get nervous like a person who lied. To be sure about it, he read her mind using telepathy and saw images of Twilight friends and two Royal Sisters. He already knew what they were up too.

"Maybe. If you start to say the truth, Dash.", Sokar frowned at her, "If you wanted to ask me to play with me you wouldn't sneak at me like that and you would be confident about it. You wanted to knock to me out, don't lie to me. I know already the truth."

"What? But how?" Dash said to him, shocked about it.

"I have my ways. You can go back to the princesses to tell them that I will talk with them like a normal person." Sokar said to her and she nodded. Dash went up, leaving a rainbow trace behind her. Sokar sighed and teleported to the room he learned from Dash memories. It was a room inside Canterlot. He was sitting between the columns against the wall. He looked down and saw the princesses and the rest of the Elements. Celestia was in her normal, same as Rarity but with changes. Celestia was slightly taller and buffed, same as Rarity. He saw Luna walking around the circle, nervously.

"Calm down sister. I'm sure Rainbow Dash will return with him safely." Celestia suddenly said, trying to calm her sister.

"That's what worries me. If he sensed her intentions, he could kill her." Luna said.

"You don't have to worry about her, your majesty." Applejack said. "Ah' bet she will return with him in the blink of the eye."

And just like she said, Dash has entered the room with a terrified expression, making everyone worried.

"What has happened, darling? You look like you saw a ghost." Rarity stated.

"It's not good guys! Not very, very good! We all screwed!" Dash panicked in front of her friends and that meant not good news.

"Dash, calm down and tell us what happened, and where is Sokar? Why you didn't- oh no..." Luna already knew that meant when with her sister, they sensed powerful dark magic in the room. "He's here..."

A mad like laughter was heard in the room. The group looked up and to their misery, they saw Sokar laughing holding his sides. "Excellent Luna! Excellent! I was wondering when you'll notice me." He said before jumping off and landed on the ground leaving a few cracks from his landing. "Now..." His eyes started to glow and a transparent black fire appeared above his head. "Will you tell me why you wanted to knock me out or do I have to get the answer myself?"

There was silence. Luna cleared her throat before speaking, "It's a very serious case Sokar. We are afraid that the old enemy has returned. We didn't want to cause panic among civilians, so... We thought about the safest way to bring you here."

"And the stupidest idea. Doing something like that can be negatively received by the second person. But if that's so serious as you say then I can understand that." Sokar replied with a sigh, slightly calming himself and the flames disappeared from his head. "So... who do you have in mind?" he asked, already knowing who she meant.

"It's a Nightmare Moon," Luna said, confirming Sokar suspicions, "While I was watching over the dreams of ponies, I sensed dark magic inside the Dream World. Following the source I found her, invading your dream. I wanted to stop her from spreading her influence upon you but I wasn't able to because of the barrier around the dream. I tried to break through it but to no valid. Then her presence disappeared from your dream but the barrier remained. What you were doing with her back then?"

"We talked. She told me many interesting things. Like that, she is part of you, Luna.", Sokar grinned and continued, "Also it wasn't the influence of Nightmare Force that caused your rebellion against Celestia, it was your own choice. No matter how much you want to decline it you won't change the past, we can only move on and live with consequences." He said walking towards and placing her hand on her shoulder.

"...You're right. After I was freed, every night I dreamed about what happened that night. But my sister is always at my side and helps me with that and Twilight. With their help, I overcome my fears. I don't know what would I do without them." Luna said, making everyone smile at her. Sokar chuckled at that.

"Friends are a precious thing in our life. Don't ever forget about that." Sokar said.

"I won't Sokar, thank you." Luna said. He then starts to scratch his chin before deciding to talk.

"Returning to the main point, I explain everything, so hold tight." Sokar then started explaining to everyone about what happened during Nightmare Night and what happened in Dream World. About Styx and Moon and they bonded to Twilight, leaving their jaw dropped to the ground. The first that shacked from the shock was Applejack.

"Are you sure you can trust them sugercub?" She asked him, worried about her friend.

"I read their mind and they weren't lying. I assure you that they are not evil anymore. Besides, you can see for yourself, if you don't believe me." Sokar said to the group. Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, and Rarity nodded and left the room leaving the sisters and Sokar alone. Sokar looked at Celestia and said, "It seems that you both want to ask me something. I'm all ears." Sokar summoned a chair and sat at him, tapping his fingers at its arm.

"Yes, there is something that we want you to ask from you Sokar," Celestia said before sitting with her sister at the chairs under them. "and that must something only between us, your brother, Twilight and her friends."

"So what is it?" Sokar asked.

"Well..." Luna started and said something that will change their lives forever.

Author's Note

There goes another chapter from my fanfiction. I decided to expand the history of Nightmare Moon because of the show and comics mostly. It didn't show her creation, leaving the only speculation. I present my theory to you, my dear readers.
