Demise of the King

Another few months pass, it’s been about a year now since I was ponynapped and brainwashed. Little Night Fire had begun walking and flying, she’s so cute. Me and twilight have been doing great; I just wish the same could be said for the rest of Equestria. Things had gotten worse as time went by, half of Sweet Apple Acres burned to the ground, many ponies were starving and in poverty. Many towns had fallen apart, most ponies are living in shanties, luckily ponyville hadn’t been affected too bad. Rarity’s boutique hadn’t seen business in ages leaving her in a deep depression. Pinkie pie still threw parties which many ponies went to, to escape the reality around them. Fluttershy and dark scene had teamed up with dash and shadow trying to find the crown, but still had no luck. As for canterlot, well the whole city had become a political battle ground. The city had become divided, half against cadence and half for her. Cadence has been trying her best to run the kingdom but one disaster after another had many ponies pointing their hooves at her clamming false leadership. Luna and Bloodmoon tried to take the heat off of her but were thrown under the bus and were being held accountable for Celestia’s disappearance. No pony knows what happened to Celestia; she dropped off the face of the earth.

For me and twilight the times weren’t so rough on us. Our marriage was great, the sex hot and romantic, we were so happy being parents, and we both became very respected individuals in ponyville. I was seen as the go to pony for pretty much anything and was praised for the great job I did at each task and twilight was the go to pony for anything magic related. It kind of sucked that night fire wasn’t a unicorn or alicorn like us because twilight really wanted to teach her magic, but instead she found herself teaching me new spells often which made her just as happy. I found myself teaching night fire how to fly and taught her different aerial stunts. She looked up to me as her hero and said she promised one day she would be a faster flier than me, which made me happy. What she really was excited for was her test in Cloudsdale, which we practiced for almost every day. She made me promise her that me and mommy would be there to see her pass her test, and of course I promised it.

When she wasn’t at home night fire was usually hanging out with applebloom, sweetie belle, and scootaloo, and joined the cutie mark crusaders. It made me and twilight so proud to see our little filly succeeding in a world that was going to hell. Finally the day of night fire’s test had arrived and we all headed to Cloudsdale, twilight had me perform a spell to give her temporary wings so she wouldn’t fall through the clouds. After we had left, that’s when dash and the gang decided to strike the house again, in search of the crown.
