me against myself

I woke up with pain still pulsing through my body. I was still tied to a tree but the rope was loosened just enough for me to get out. I fell to the ground and found that the knife was still in my stomach, but yet all my insides were inside me again. I observed my legs and arms. They all still had the cuts and were still bleeding away. I began to search the area around me, only to find that I was in a different place. Once I finished my search I walked back to the tree. I began to look at the ground for anything that could be useful, only to find a note. I picked up the note and read it out loud.

"You have survived, but do you think you can save the one's you love most?" I looked at the note with confusion. 'What loved one's? I lost them yesterday.' After that thought I started to hear multiple screams from one direction. I looked at began to run in that direction, having big difficulty with the knife still in me. I found a small clearing along with my stuff. 'dang that guy didn't even take anything.' I grabbed my stuff quickly and continued in the direction of the screams.

After another thirty minutes of running, I found another small clearing, only this clearing had things tied to each tree in a circle, all screaming for help. I looked around for an attacker, only to find one in front of a gigantic tree, with that same devilish smile on its face. "So you finally showed up. It's about time, I was about to kill them." It raised its arms and a flame erupted to life in the middle of the clearing. I looked at each per- . . . PONY! I looked at them in horror to find that they had all been tied to a tree like I was before. I looked at the person to find his smile getting bigger.

"Ha ha ha ha, What are you going to do now? Just stand there while I murderer each one of them."

I looked at him with anger as my heart began to fill with rage. He was approaching the first pony with a knife in his hand. I couldn't let them have the same pain as I could. I grabbed the knife still in my stomach and pulled it out with great force and pain. I winced as I began feeling more blood come out of my body.

"You better leave them alone!"

"Oh, and what are you going to do about it?"

"I would rather die for their lives other than just watch you kill all of them."

At that moment I jumped forward with a slashing movement towards him. I watched as he dodged the slash and began to slash back. We fought for around five minutes, between me getting cuts and him getting cuts. I finally got the upper-hand and pushed him into the fire. I watched as he tried to escape, only to be stopped by me kicking him back in. I walked towards the first pony and cut the rope and continued this with the others. I watched as they crowded around me.

"Go . . . *Cough up blood* I'm to far gone to be healed. Go . . . Escape."

I felt my vision blurring again and quickly. I took one final glance at the ponies around me and passed out.

I woke up in a place full of white.

'Am I in a hospital?'

"No you are not in a hospital."

"Whoa, who said that . . . and How did you know what I was thinking?"

"Who else could do it?"

"God?"

"Yes my child, it is me god."

"I guess I died didn't I?"

"No"

"Then why am I here?"

"You are here for me to talk to you about something."

"What?"

"Me and you are going to talk about your past."

"Why do we need to talk about my past when you watched every single step I took."

" . . . Not exactly."

"What do you mean?"

"Well, their are billions of people on earth and its not easy to watch every single one of them at the same time. When you experienced pain of someone else, I wasn't watching or able to help you."

"So you want me to tell you what happened in my past that has me the way I am today."

"Exactly."

"Well you might want to pull up a chair along with some refreshments, because this is going to take a while."

"No need. I can see into your memories and see what happened without you telling me."

At that moment I felt a pain in my head, like someone had lit a fire in it. I saw the expressions on gods face go from sad to anger. As the pain left my head I felt like I had gotten hit in the head with a hammer.

"So thats what you have been through, Fights, Injuries, Being kicked out of your home. I feel sorry that I wasn't there for you my child."

I put my hand on Gods shoulder. "Its o.k. Because of all that I saved six . . . um . . . ponies I think."

God looked at me. "Yes I saw that memory too. I would thank you for saving them, but I cannot. It is not me who should be thanking you."

"Why and who should be thanking me."

"Why you ask. Your answer is this, you are no longer on earth."

That sentence went threw my brain like a bullet. "Wait wait wait, Your telling me that I am not on earth anymore?"

"Correct."

"Then how are we talking to each other?"

"Because the ruler of this land allowed me to visit this place once and I decided to use it to talk to you."

"So the ruler of this land should be the one thanking me."

"Correct again."

"So where am I?"

"I will not tell you that, but you will figure that out soon. Goodbye my child. I hope our paths will meet again at a later time." I saw the white area fade away.

I woke up in a bed. I opened my eyes as I felt pain go through my entire body. I found myself in a hospital room.

'Oh how I hate hospitals'

I rose up to a sitting position, while feeling pain all over. I looked around the room. It was a normal Hospital room included with a couch and a window to my left. I looked out the window to find the sun high in the sky. I smiled thinking of how I get to live another day, but was reminded of how I was going to pay for this. I had no insurance that could help. I did what I would usually do in times of stress. I reached into my pocket and pulled out an old Ipod I had bought with my own money. I looked through all the music I had and chose the one that always made me happier. Five Finger Death Punch - Remember Everything. It always helped with stress from my life. I grabbed my headphones and put one in my ear leaving the other out. I was bobbing my head up and down from the music.

When the music stopped I felt better and put it up. I looked at the door to the room. I could see shadows of the doctors or maybe others. I heard them easily. Someone wanted to see me. The doctor was in a argument of if I was safe or not with me.

"Hey, you know I can hear you easily right? Plus I won't harm anyone."

I watched as the shadows looked at the door. "See I told you he could talk."

'What kind of argument is this?' I watched as the door opened and I was greeted with the presence of six PONIES. I looked at each and every one of them in shock.

"So yer' the one who saved us. Thanks partner."

"That was a very courages thing you did for us in the Everfree Forest."

I was shocked by that name. 'Where have I heard that name of a forest and where it had talking ponies. . . . Oh wait duh I'm in Equestria. . . . WAIT HOW THE HECK DID I GET HERE?' I looked at the six ponies and found them all familiar. 'Oh and I saved the main six didn't I. Why does this feel like I'm in a story?'

"Thats because you are silly."

"What the heck. Did you just read my thoughts?"

"Nope, I just looked at the story the Author is writing right now." I looked at the pink party pony for a couple of minutes.

"Thats pinkie, we never truly figured out how she does that, but its just pinkie being pinkie." Pinkie giggled after Twilight finished her sentence.

"Ok, I have a guestion. How did you know that I am in a story or think I am in a story? Really, is there some mythical power you have that allows you to destroy the laws of phisics to just a simple task? Or is there a portal somewhere around this room that I can't see but only you can? Or is it a strange chemical that spilled on your coat that was made by some scientist and you were a experimental subject of it?"

Everypony looked at me with shock. "What is it something I said? Or is it that my language is not able to be heard through your ears? Is there a problem with ya'lls ear tubs that dosn't allow you to hear me or something?"

"No no no sugarcube. Its just that we only heard that kind of talk from Twilight and we didn't think there was another thing like that. What are ya anyway?"

"Oh so thats why you all looked shocked, anyway I am a human or in scientifical tearms Homo Sapian. I am bipedal and able to grab stuff easily with my hands and fingers. Here I will do a demonstration." I grabbed a book and started to read it.

'Weird how they even put this in the same language as mine.' I continued to read, not even carring for what was going on around me or what I was reading. I finished the book withen a couple of minutes and I closed the book and put it back. I looked at everypony else. They all had shocked looks on their faces. "Huh, What now? I'm not in the mood to go into more scientifical tearms of why you all are looking at me like that."

"Oh nothing, but you just read a two hundred page dictionary in around five minutes. How is that even possible."

"Beats me. I've had people give me confused looks when I get around twenty books a day with around Five hundred pages each and come back within two hours to get more. Seriously I went to around five different library's just to keep reading. So your guess is as good as mine to how I do it so quickly."

"Wow, so you read that much a day?"

"Yup"

"What?"

"Oh sorry how about this. Yes"

"Oh so thats what that meant."

"Yea, Let me guess *Points at rarity* your name has something to do with something rare, like a jewel or something."

"Why, yes it does, My name is Rarity. Nice to meet you" She stuck out her hoof, but as I went out to shake it she pulled back, put a towel on it, and then shaked it.

"Well its nice to meet you to miss Rarity."

"Quite the same . . . um . . . can we get your name by chance?"

"Oh . . . sorry. Ahem, My name is kyle."

"Well its nice to meet you kyle and I hope you have a good stay in ponyville."

After rarity said that sentence I felt my smile go into a frown of both confusion and sadness.

"Whats wrong kyle?"

"Oh, I'm sorry its just that I don't have a place to stay at all."

"Oh but there must be someone who is in your family who can help you."

I looked at the ground and began to feel tears go down my cheeks.

"Whats wrong now?"

"Oh . . . *Sniff* its nothing" I tried to make a fake smile but I could tell Applejack saw strait through it.

"Whats wrong kyle. I know you just lied there. What is the real problem?"

"Its just that . . . *Sniff* I just got kicked out of my house for something that I do best. My mother told me never to come back."

Everypony stopped what they were doing and looked at me. "You mean that your family kicked you out?"

"Yes, I have no where to go. I'm sure I'm not on earth anymore. I was just planning on just staying in the woods, but then that maniac came at me when I was asleep, tied me to a tree, and then cut my arms and legs open, and then, as the supposed final blow, put the knife in my stomach and opened it up and watched as my guts fell out of me."

Everypony's face went to ones of sorrow to ones of disgust.

"You didn't have to go into that much detail."

"Sorry."

"So you only planned on staying in the woods."

"Yes."

"What is earth?"

'Oh great the ultimate question that could be asked especially at this time' "I'll tell you later."

Twilight had a look of hatred at that second, but instantly faded away at remembering that I had no place to stay.

"You can stay at my place."

"What!" Everypony said.

"Well I'm not going to let him stay in the woods."

As they go through their argument I decide to go into more detail of how I look along with what the room looks like. I looked like I was part mummy, half mummified, but was still able to move my arms and legs easily. I looked around the room. It was a tiled white floor, with white walls and a white roof. 'Wait a minute were's my stuff.'

"Um . . . sorry to bother, but where is my stuff?"

"Oh its being analized."

"Um . . . can I get them back."

"I don't think it will be in one peice when you get it back though."

'Oh hell no. They are not taking apart my computer!' "Um . . . where are they observing it at?"

"The room right next to us."

I instantly got up and walked to the other room, only to find that a unicorn was rapped in tin foal, about to touch my computer.

"Um . . . you don't have to take it appart I'll tell you how it works without you taking it apart."

The unicorn only stared at me for around ten minutes. I looked at him, but soon got bored and walked to my stuff, picked them all up, and walked away. He was still staring at me by the time I walked out. I entered my room to find all the ponies staring at me.

"Um . . . what is something wrong with my face or something?"

"How did you get your stuff back?"

"I just walked in and grabbed them."

"But weren't they about to observe the flat object?"

I pulled out the laptop. "You mean this."

"Yea."

"I told them they don't need to take it apart."

"Why?"

"Because I would like to get it back in one peice and not all over the place."

Twilight only smiled shyly while rubbing the back of her head. "Yea, . . ."

I opened the laptop and turned it on. 'I swear if I left it on FIMfiction.net I will have to go through the pain of explaining all of this.'

As soon as the screen opened up and I typed in the password the website came on. 'speak of the devil.'

"Hey kyle whats this? wait a minute why is their a picture of princess celestia on your flat box?"

" Sigh . . . awww great I hate explaining things to people. Anyway, back on my world they actually kind of knew about yall already."

"What? How?"

"I don't actually think that they knew that yall actually existed, but anyway a guy made a show called "My Little Pony" that stared all of yall."

"Oh really. Then what is my name?" A rainbow color maned peguses said.

"Your name is Rainbow Dash, you are the only known pegasi to pull of the Sonic Rainboom, you are the element of loyalty, and you love the wonderbolts."

I watched as rainbow dash's mouth dropped.

"Heh heh heh."

Rainbow dash shook her head. "W-whats so funny?"

"Its just the way you look when your surprised."

"So you do know about us."

"Yes."

"This information definatly has to go to Princess Celestia."

"You might as well read my mind then, because I hate explaining things to people or ponies in this case."

"Alright we can meet in my library so I can find the spell. When are we going to go?"

"Right now."

"But your injured!"

"Nah, I can easily get out of these casts and my body doesn't hurt anymore."

"Ha ha ha ha, good luck with that! They put two casts on you on top of the others."

"Oh, nice a actual challenge I can beat." I flexed my arms and the casts broke apart like they were paper, then I flexed my legs with the same effect as the last one.

"huh, didn't even have to try."

Rainbow stared at me.

" *Sigh* What now rainbow?"

"How did you do that?"

"I just moved thats it."

I walked to the hospital door with the six ponies hot on my trail. I passed by nurse redheart, who only stared at me while I passed her, and found the front door to the hospital and left.
