Awaken brother

(deep below Celestia and Luna's castle)

"Celestia...what is all this?" Twilight asked as the three were lowered down into a hole via a old lift.

The lift seemed extremely old and looked like it would break any moment but somehow it was stronger than it looked, as it lowered them to the dark dept of the void. The sun princess lit up her horn using a light spell as she turned to her young student.

"After our brother decided to enter his deep sleep he thought it was best to hide the 'death-keep' from the world for the technology and power it held," Celestia told her this cause twilight to tilt her head.

"But if your brother had this great technology why not share it with the entirety of Equestria? From what you told me we could have been more advance than ever before if your brothers shared his technology with you," Twilight stated as Luna shook her head.

"Dear Twilight you must understand the reason why our brother chose to hide the technology from the world was for its own protection," Luna told her. "And besides the technology within our brother's control isn't for the fate of heart,"

Twilight was going to ask another question but the lift stopped causing her to turn forward.

"Were here," Celestia turned to twilight. "Twilight you are stay chose to me and what ever you do Do. Not. Touch. A. Thing,"

Twilight gulp as she watched the doors to the lift open with the sound of old wood and metal moving, she and the rest of the princesses where meet with a large open space that made twilight wander how she didn't see this when she was down here when chrysails trapped her and cadance. As the walked forward the light of her mentor's horn barely lit the cave chamber but then she saw it. Twilight went wide eyed the moment her eyes laid on the large FORTRESS!

When Celestia told her that there brother slept she expected a keep tower but this?

This was basically a full sided fortress! It was almost three times the size of the castle that rest on the surface above, how it was here she didn't know nor did she know how the castle and town above weren't caved in due to the lack of support that this cavern had. Before her rested the vanta and copper fortress of the death-keep, on the outside of the fortress rested statues of what looked like skulls and other strange markings.

Talking a step forward she didn't notice that the thing she accidentally kicked, looking down twilight went wide eyed at the sight of what was before her.

Skeletons!

She almost lost her breakfast at the sight of the many bones that surrounded the death-keep. Ranging from ponies, dragons, diamond dogs, and other creatures of equestria surround the fortress causing the young princess to almost lose it but before she could Luna spoke.

"Fret not twilight for the bones around your feet are those of thieves and grave robbers who wished to seek out the power that the death-keep held within only to be meet with the guardians of the keep," Luna told her making twilight look up at the fortress.

"How...does no pony have ever reported any missing ponies or creature?" Twilight asked to which Celestia stopped when they reached what looked like a gate.

"Twilight these bones are over 4,000-1,000 years old," Celestia told her cause twilight to look at her teacher.

"See twilight before my castle was built or the mountain to which it rests on there was only this place and for the first few thousand years ponies and other creatures would come here seeking power only to be faced with death or flee with grave wounds. Some ponies that you know have tried to come her and take power for themselves," Celestia said.

Twilight looked up confused.

"What do you mean?"

Luna knelt down and picked up what looked to be a helmet of some kind, but when twilight got a closer look of it she saw it was one of sombra's soldier's helmet from the crystal empire long ago.

"Look familiar?" Luna asked as Twilight nodded. "The only reason Sombra lost the crystal empire is because he sent his entire army to siege this place only to lose 60% of his forces and to which we took action and tried to take the empire back before it was banished,"

Dropping the helmet onto the pile of bones at there feet twilight watched as Celestia looked up to the gate before her, on the gate was the strangest looking symbol she had ever seen. On it rested a 'I' with in it text in the middle of it rested a skull that was similar to those that rested on the walls but this one hand its left side dressed in mechanical parts with a ruby red eye. As Celestia stepped forward the symbol hummed to lift, twilight watched as the red eye came to life and lit up the entire cavern red with its light! The light then went out before coming back this time more focused on them as it gave a beep before speaking in a low machine like voice.

"Subjects: Princess Celestia, Princess Luna, unknown being... Being: Alicorn Age: 21 Sex: Female Authorization: Denied Warning third party you are to leave the area at once otherwise you will be terminated this is your only warning,"

Before she could do anything Celestia spoke up.

"Gate keeper hear me! the third party is with me for she too is a princess of equestira as well! Her name is Twilight sparkle and she is with me allow use entry into the death-keep!"

The skull's eye darkness before turning from red to green.

"Access...granted,"

As the gate began to lower itself into the very ground Twilight was meet with what looked like some kind of air lock chamber. Entering the chamber the gate keep raised itself closing behind them before locking into the great walls of the death-keep once again.

Once inside the large room they were meet with what looked like a old fashion door that seemed to be made of black iron and pure sliver. The dark room's only light was a dim light that came from the lanterns that rested on the walls on the right and left side of the room. Before twilight could ask what was happening the large old fashion door opened up causing the air to taste like frankincense.

Finally entering the death-keep twilight was amazed at how big it looked on the inside along with the walls holding images of what looked warriors and great battles. Walking in they stopped when they heard a pair off footsteps coming there way, twilight looked forward confused but as she narrowed her eyes to hopefully get a better look of what it was coming to them she gasped.

Before them was a creature made of bone and metal, a bipedal creature like them but unlike them it held four different arms. Two of the arms ended in claws that were attached to the back of the creature while the two on where a pair of arms should be didn't end in hands. The right 'hand' of the creature was a three finger claw that held small moving wires in its palm, on the other was what looked like a small version of some kind of chainsaw but almost with a device strapped to its side it looked like a blow torch with its small flame that was always on that blow torches used, something told her that it wasn't a blow torch. It was dressed in a black and red cloak that covered the rest of its form she could think what was under it but when she saw its face she froze. It was a skull that held a red eye like the gatekeeper but where there should be another eye was a series of wires going into it. The bleach skull held the symbol from the gate on its forehead and in its mouth held what seemed to be a speaker of some kind.

"Greets: Princess...Has something happened above?...Do require the assistance of the master?" The creature said in a very muffled voice that came from the speaker, celestia shook her head.

"No but we wish to speak with him," She said causing the creature to stare at her with no emotion.

"Query: Why do you wish to awaken the master if there is no threat to Equis?...The master infromed you he wished not to be disturbed if the Equis wan't under threat," It told her causing Celestia.

"Servo I wish for you do awake lieutenant Lan'Mok as princess of Equestria I order you to do so servo-unit," The machine like device looked up at her as its eye flashed.

"Follow unit,"

(Later)

'This place is like a maze!' confused as it seemed like they walking in circles but then they came across a room that they entered.

The four entered the room, as the friendship princess looked around when they stopped.

"statement: Please wait as the here the master will be awaken shortly," The servo unit told them as the two princesses nodded as they watched the servo unit walk over to what looked like a black tube in the room.

Twilight looking around walked around to one side of the room where there were five stalls within each stall rested a massive set of what looked like armor. Walking up to them the stalls lit up causing twilight to step back at the sight of the strange looking armor sets that rested behind a blue field of energy. Each set of armor was different but the same of each hand a left arm that look like it was made from sliver or platinum along with the black color.

She must haven't been paying attention cause she didn't see luna or celesita came up next to her.

"Amazing isn't it twilight?" Slightly spooked she looked the night princess before giving a nod.

"Yes...is this there armor that they wore?" She asked.

They nodded.

"Yes," Celestia pointed to the first set on the left, the armor out of all the sets looked the most damaged but only a few scratches here and there. On the armor's right arm rested the symbol of a snarling wolf along with that the armor was covered in Celtic ruins, teeth, and what seemed to be a wolf pelt on its backpack. "This set of armor belong to our brother Logan of the space wolves. He died giving his life to allow my sister and I to flee from a demon known as a soul grinder, he was gravely wounded but our brothers gave him a second chance as a dreadnaught to where he now sleeps. To be honest I'm surpised to see his armor like this for the last time I saw it the armor was ripped and torn apart the servo units must have brought it back to its former state after 5,000 years,"

She then turned to another set of armor, out of all of them this one seemd more darker than the others for it also hand more parchment and wax seals on its form along with a more skeleton look than the rest. A hooded skull like mask rested under on its head to go along with the skeleton look along with that the symbol on its right was that of a winged sword that was white with a green back ground. "This was brother Azazel's he was something called a Chaplain from the chapter known as the dark angels, he was there of spirital guidance to the rest of his brothers along with that he was also the interrogator but he was also kind to us when we were little, very few saw his kind side. He along with brother Logan fought amoug themselves for the past of there chapters but when It came down to watch each other backs the two of them put there differences aside and fought bravely,"

Twilight turned to her.

"How did he die?" She asked.

"He was beheaded by a being known as skull collecter but the beast never got to collect his skull for its master for he took the creature with him to his death with his bolt pistol," The sun princess told her.

The sun princess turned to the next armor unlike the rest of the helmets this one was pure white with what looked like a metal eye piece on its left side along with a strange device on its arm and strange jars on its belt. The symbol on his shoulder was that of a black fist on a yellow back ground proud and strong . "This is brother Larvan he designed the death-keep since he was apart of the group known as the imperial fists who are masters of construstion along with that he was also the groups Apothecary the one who would heal there wounds but sadly he fell at the hands of lord of change that stabbed him in his hearts while he tried to retrieve the geneseeds of brother Azarel,"

Twilight wanted to say something but didn't for the two sister looked sad.

But that didn't stop Celestia to going on to the next armor, this one out all the rest was a strange one, it was red and black for it held what looked like a over sized belt buckle on its chest that held a black and white symbol on it: the symbol was a gear half white and half black within it a reversed colored skull. It helmet was pure red with green eyes unlike the others which were red. Along with that red robotic arms came from the much larger backpack that was strapped to the chest and waist, finally was the symbol it bore on its arm. A yellow bar with a red lighting bolt with a white background rested on the arm.

"Finally brother Jekos, the team's tech marine. He was tasked with repairs and other kept up of the weapons here in the death-keep for it was he duty to do so. He was apart of the group known as the white scars and from what he told us they where a tribal like chapter of the adeptus astartes who would make little toys for my sister and I to play with. I-I-I was there to watch him be killed by keeper of secrets when he tried to protect our mother from harm," Celestia said as she began to tear up slightly.

Twilight watched as she rubbed her tears but she froze when she saw a hand that grabbed her shoulder, backing away slightly the hand didn't belong to either her nor princess Luna. Turning her head she and the other princesses where meet with a very dark scaly skin red eyed looking giant, Celestia smiled as looked at the being before her.

"Hello Lan,"
