I sigh as I look up from the blank spot on the far wall that I had been looking at while talking with EDI, to search the room for someone or rather somepony I was both thrilled to meet and dreading it for depending on how she and her sister react to me and the Normandy being here. My life could become very complicated very fast, depending on how the next few moments go.

It only takes a few seconds for my sharp eyes to spot something in the darkest corner of the room, one that is far darker than should it should be. I wait a few seconds as I ponder what to do next without looking like a fool, before I smile and speak in a calm voice. "Good evening Princess, and such a lovely night it is." I take a stab in the dark at which ruler it is.

I fight down a giggle as I hear someone nearly choke on something before they start to sputter in disbelief as I watch the spell hiding the pony fall away from lose of concentration. Standing there in the now visible corner of my hospital room stood a flabergasted Princess of the Night, looking back at me in shock. So my newly sharped instincts given to me by whatever brought me here allows me to take in the image of Princess Luna in the seconds it takes for her to recompose herself.

I am to say shocked though not very surprised at her height, being what seems to be an impressive seven foot even. Though I must know why you did so as from what I was told you could've escaped while he was focused on the mares and dragon but you called out and issued a challenge to him instead. Why?" Luna paused to let me have a moment to formulate my response though from the look on her muzzle when I started to tell her right away one it was clear she was waiting for me, she must have thought I'd take longer to think on it.

"Well I could never just stand still while others were in danger, even since I was a child I've always been willing to jump into danger for someone in need." I pause to take a breath giving her a chance to ask something else.

"Even at the risk of your own health?" Luna asked with a raised eyebrow and thoughtful look on her face.

"Yes even at risking my own life, I've never been one to let others be in danger if I can help it. Even if I can't I still jump in to the fray to take the pain for myself rather than have someone else feel it." I look up in thought "Come to think of it, it would explain all my injuries while I was growing up"

The Princess clears her throat to bring my attention back to her. "Well, be that as it may, you have done a service to Equestria by fending off the beast. And for this, I've decided to give you the benefit of the doubt and do my best to be fair in how I treat you." At my confused look, she explains further, "I mean you are a stranger in our lands, armed with firearms far beyond anything Any nation is using to date, while wearing armor that is made of a material we can't identify, and finally you have in your care a ship of unknown technology that appears similar to 'space' ships from those new science fiction story that have come out recently."

I give a nod in understanding, she's saying she is doing her best to come at me without any preconceptions on my character based on my 'stuff'. "I...well thank you for that, though I must ask where is your sister if you both have questions for me?"

Blushing for some reason the lunar Princess tells me of her discussion with her sister late last night while I was unconscious.

Several Hours Earlier

The two Princesses of Equestria stand at the foot of the bed that holds the mysterious Dragoness that has caused them to take two days off from their ruling duties to handle. The darker of the two looks over to her sister and complains softly to not wake the slumbering unicorn in the room nor the dragon. "But sister why must we wait until later tomorrow morning to question her instead of first thing after she awakens?"

Standing tall the elder sister fought every urge to roll her eyes at her younger sister's inpatients on this matter, though she too would like answers from this ness she. "You see Luna, this way the doctors can check on her and not interrupt us when we do if we let them have the time to examine her before our questions. Not to mention she deserves some respect from us for having fought off an Alpha Manticore and getting injured to protect the elements"

Heaving a loud sigh the night princess finally nods and accepts it though with a gleam in her eye as she looks upon the healing ness.

Present

I raise an eyebrow at her making her blush even more as I draw out "Soooooo.......if you two agreed to wait until after the doctors checked on me then why are you here now? Not that I dislike your company so far Princess, I'm just curious is all."

Speaking up through her embarrassment she replies "Well I was patroling the dream realm when I felt the spell I had secretly cast on you to alert me as soon as you awoke went off. So I traveled here as soon as I could to 'obverse' you speaking with someone who isn't here. And I was only planning on observing how you acted before returning to my duties but you spotted me leading to what has happened."

I open my mouth to respond when I'm cut off by a blinding flash of light and a loud POP startling Twilight awake in the process as my eyes clear I blink to find that standing in my hospital room was none other than Princess Celestia and she did not look pleased at the moment.
