Celestian is a normal pony, too normal. He’s stuck in a dead-end Working Class job, and he isn’t going anywhere. Then, as he’s listening to the radio, he hears news that changes his life.

There’s a war going on with the zebras. Celestian, hearing this, decides that he should sign up. If this goes well, he’ll be able to take out his mutual hatred of the zebras, be able to stage a coup, and fight for the Working Class.
