Celestia's New Life
6. Wedding
Previous ChapterNext ChapterChapter 6: Wedding
A few weeks had passed since the day of the Ceremony and life for Celestia continued in its same peaceful and routine-filled way. She honestly thought she’d need more time to get used to her new lifestyle, but much to her joy she found the words of Persephone to be true: a fulfilling routine put her mind at ease. Sadly, she couldn’t really adapt to a no-magic cleaning and cooking abilities. She was an alicorn, after all. She represented all forms of pony magic, including Earth Pony magic, so stamina was on her side as well as control of her body (though not to the ridiculous extent of Pinkie Pie), but, sadly, hands and other prehensile extremities outside her wings were something she was not blessed with.
Still, she found a way to incorporate her magic to a minimal extent and focus more on the physical aspect where she could. Another aspect that she had come to adopt and adapt to with great ease was the constant exposure of her genitals. Getting used to the constant stares of every draconequus being able to see her exposed pussy and asshole, was relatively easy once she noticed they put more attention to her rather than her privates. But even those curious stares died after the first few weeks past her Ceremony.
She wasn’t used to bucks and does praising her beautiful looks or her privates, though she enjoyed the compliments, and she knew Discord was proud of his fiance receiving so much praise.
“And now here I am,” Celestia whispered to herself as she put on her flower crown, a variant form of the wataboshi used on more sacred rituals reserved for the royal family. Discord was in the next room also getting ready as he put on his kimono. She giggled, the memory of seeing him without his beard had been too funny not to laugh. But while he was being helped by his father and some brothers, she was left alone, refusing the aid of the really nice maids.
It was traditional that family members of the bride and groom to help them put on their wedding attires, and she wished to follow tradition as much as she could. While it was rare for a draconequus to marry and have no family, it happened, and traditions made an exception, should they choose to abide it, to accept the aid of maids to change. If not, they could do so on their own.
She chose the latter.
Maybe that was the only thing she disliked about the draconequus society: their isolationism. On one hoof, she understood the need for them to be like that. On the other one, it was borderline paranoia. The world wasn’t as dangerous as they believed anymore. And truly? The world could use their help to learn from their example. Because of their isolation, she couldn’t invite Luna, Twilight, Cadance, or Spike. She missed them terribly, and their absence would make her happy day just a pinch dimmer.
Looking at her reflection in the mirror, she looked at herself, examining if everything was in order. “Dress, check. Crown, check. Oils and perfume, check. Good! Now I only need to apply the make-up. Good thing I read so much about the wedding ceremony and traditions!” She exclaimed giddily.
Her dress, a transparent silk dress of quality she couldn’t believe existed, adorned most of her body. The designer had taken the time to modify the traditional dress to fit her form and accommodate her wings, which she was thankful for. The silk was silvery, nearly white as her coat, and had a gap on the back that exposed her nethers to the world: a symbol that her virginity and soul would be freely given to her husband and her husband alone. “Failing on the virginity part for sure, but more than making up for the soul, indeed!” She chanted in good humor.
Just like her robe had a significance beyond being incredibly beautiful, her headdress represented her purity and commitment. While the make-up represented not only her beauty, in and out, but also her promise to always be at his side. Truly, draconequus society was both complex and fascinating.
As she prepared her make-up for use, her mind wandered on how many of her family and friends would miss her wedding. Rain Shine, Novo, Luna, Spike, Cadance, Twilight and the Bearers, Raven, Fancy Pants and Fleur, Starswirls and the Pillars, Stygian, and so many, many more. For a moment, she felt quite lonely in this the day she’d marry her beloved Discord.
Then, just as she was about to begin applying her make-up, someone knocked at the door before opening partially. A maid snuck her head inside.
“Excuse my intrusion, Bride, but there is someone here who wishes to see you,” she explained.
“Oh, let her in!” Celestia replied. It must be Persephone coming to wish me luck or to see if everything is fine, she thought. She didn’t pay attention to the maid leaving nor the door opening more, but when she saw who had entered the room through the mirror’s reflection, her went wide and her head snapped back to see them.
There they were, as clear as day and not an illusion. Luna, Twilight with Flash Sentry, Spike with Ember, Cadance, and Shining Armor, all entering the room with smiles spread on their faces. “Luna!” Celestia stood and ran up to them, hugging her little sister tightly.
The group watched as the two sisters hugged each other, Celestia crying through it all. After a few minutes of embracing to satisfy Celestia’s hunger for sisterly love, she pulled back. Brushing her tears away, she asked. “Luna, what are you, all of you, doing here?”
Luna chuckled, tilting her head. “Do you honestly think I’d miss my big sister’s big day? Nay, I say!”
“Nor would we miss your wedding, auntie,” Cadance said as she approached to give the older mare a hug of her own.
“B-But how?” She began. “The draconequus empire lives in isolation. How were you allowed entry?”
“You can thank Discord for that, Celestia,” Twilight answered. “He convinced the Emperor to let us visit for the wedding.”
Now that surprised Celestia. More so because Discord’s family wasn’t tied to the royal family in any way, nor were they wealthy or important or remarkable in their society. Just how in the world had Discord managed to get such permission?
“Well, when you’re the literal God of Chaos, the most powerful draconequus alive, a being capable of shifting reality itself as you please, and the most infamous prankster in history, few would say ‘no’ to a simple little request, right?” Spike answered after reading her expression.
Celestia nodding in understanding. Of course, the Emperor wouldn’t just say yes no matter who Discord was, unless they made a deal or maybe the Emperor did grant Discord’s request out of goodwill or as a machination to gain his trust and support in case--Now, now, don’t go thinking like a politician, Celestia. Just accept the nice deal for what it is. Your family is here to celebrate your wedding, that’s all that matters, she chastised and remembered herself. Looking around, she noticed someone was missing. “Where’s Flurry Heart?”
“Discord’s family was nice enough to take her off our hooves since she can’t enter. She’s playing with bucks and does her age outside the monastery,” Shining replied.
Celestia nodded, making a mental note to spoil her grandniece rotten after the wedding. She turned to Twilight and Flash smiling widely. The alicorn then hugged Twilight. “Look at you, Twilight. All grown up and with a coltfriend!” This made Twilight blush. “You’ll be an excellent Princess, Twilight. Far better than I ever was, I am sure.”
“Thanks,” Twilight replied feeling teary-eyed.
Then, she turned to Spike. “My little boy, although not as little anymore,” she smiled now that he was much taller, his growth spurts hitting him hard. Now they stood at eye level. He noticed that he and Ember were holding claws. “Oh my! When did this happen?” She asked referring to their holding hands.
The two dragons blushed but didn’t break their hold. “Eh, a little after you left, actually. Ember and I were dating for a while in secret, but after came here, we decided to make it public. We, uhh, got engaged two weeks ago,” he explained.
“Oh, Spikey!” Celestia hugged him, with him returning the gesture. “It is good to see you could come, Dragon Lord Ember.”
“Likewise. I’ve only heard legends about the draconequus empire. I wasn’t sure it even existed. But I’m glad I’m seeing it now with my own two eyes,” she replied with a bow of her head. “You look beautiful, Celestia. I don’t know how you ponies can leave with that fur growing out of your heads,” she said with a bit of sardonic snark.
Everyone chuckled or chortled at her remark. Once it died out, she asked. “Where’s Blueblood?”
“Oh, he’s being treated like the spoiled ass he is,” Luna answered. “Can you believe he had the gall to demand entry despite being warned he wasn’t old nor closely related enough to enter?”
“Hey, he has blood in his veins that relates, I’m adopted!” Spike mocked, then pointed and Shining. “He’s just extra luggage!”
“Yeah! Wait, what?”
Then, at Twilight. “And she’s pretty much your daughter, too!”
Twilight giggled and blushed, covering her face with her wings while Flash kissed her horn.
“I can’t believe the spoiled brat tried to barge his way inside the monastery. He had the gall to argue with the police officers! I can’t believe I’m related to him,” Cadance lamented, shaking her head.
“So he’s outside?” Celestia asked, disappointed at her nephew’s actions.
“Outside and probably being used as a toy by the officers. One of then said he couldn’t enter because his relationship with the bride wasn’t strong enough after, what, seventy generations? And that he was rude and full of enough hot air he could fill a zeppelin. Blueblood insulted them with something I dare not repeat and, well, yeah,” Shining explained, his expression grimacing on the memory.
While Celestia talked with her family and known ones, happier than ever now that they were there with her, Discord was having his own steps to follow.
In truth, Discord hated when others did things for him. He was the flipping God of Chaos, for pony’s sake! But… traditions were traditions, despite how much he liked to buck the trend, Fluttershy had really made him realize his wrongdoings and how he could tolerate a few nonsensical traditions easily. So, he could forgive being shaved and dressed by servants on the day he’d make Celestia his official wife.
“Discord-sama, kimono ga dekimashita,” one of the servants said as he and his four companions stepped back.
“Oh, please, don’t speak dracoris with me,” Discord drolled. “So, how do I look?” He asked turning to his parents.
“Look at you, my son. I cannot believe this day has come,” Hades said, tears swelling in his eyes.
“My little boy is no longer the headache he used to be. Now he’s going to start a family and settle down. I couldn’t be any more proud than I am now,” Persephone exclaimed.
Discord smiled before hugging his parents. “Thanks, mom, dad. I know I wasn’t… the best kid or even the best son. Who am I kidding? I wouldn’t want to deal with a stupid little shit like me if I can help it,” he chuckled and his parents laughed. “But thank you. You never gave up on me, and now I’m going to get married. I love you, my parents,” he said, wholeheartedly.
After a few minutes of silent hugging, they were interrupted by another servant.
“Discord-sama, it is time,” he said with a respectful bow.
“Well! Time for me to marry a pretty white alicorn then!” He proclaimed as he stepped back, ending the hug, and dusting his black kimono, elegantly designed to represent his chaotic nature, status, and the sigil of the Emperor himself, blessing his union.
He was led by his parents on a ceremonial procession until they reached inner chambers of the monastery. There, shrine masters took his parents’ places and guided him to the blessed altar. When they reached it, the shrine masters returned to the entrance of the entrance, chanting blessings as they walked. Discord only had to wait for a few minutes before Celestia arrived at the entrance of the chamber flanked by Luna, Cadance, and Twilight. Just like it happened with him, the shrine masters guided her the rest of the way until she, too, was standing at his side in front of the altar.
They spent a few seconds looking deeply into each other’s eyes, smiling, blushing, and feeling their hearts about to explode twice when the toll of the ceremonial bells begin. Looking forward, they begin to slowly walk past the arch of the altar and advance to the podium where the Shrine Elder is waiting for them.
“You look stunning,” Discord commented in a hushed tone. “Absolutely beautiful, Celly.”
“And you look more handsome than usual, Discord. Maybe it is the shaved beard?” She teased.
“Don’t get too used to it, love. I’m growing it back without using magic. The beard is half my personality!” He winked at her.
“Yup! Why do you think I fell in love with you in the first place?” She replied with a wink.
After a few more steps, they arrived in front of the podium and the bells ceased their ringing. The Elder taps his throat and begins to speak. “Welcome all, blessed by the Gods and blessed be the Gods.”
Celestia blinked. She heard him talk in dracoris, yet she understood perfectly what he said, like he was speaking ponish. After a few seconds, she understood what he had done and bowed her head to him in gratitude. The Wedding Ceremony required him to speak in dracoris, but using his magic he made it so that his words would be understandable for those not able to understand dracoris.
Behind the couple, their family members began to enter the shrine guided by maids and servants and sit on their designated places. Once they are all seated, the Elder continues. “We are gathered here today, by the grace of the Gods, the blessings of the Emperor, and the union of love and companionship to witness the marriage of two souls. To unite and stand strong together, to be a pillar and the fire of a new home, to bring new life, and to honor the traditions.”
“Blessed be all who have come from far and wide to this most joyous occasion. Blessed be those that have come to see this union. Blessed be those that lay witness of this love; the birth of a new family. Rejoice! The Gods command! Rejoice! For our brother and sister unite! Rejoice! For new life brings forth!”
“Yorokobu!” Everyone yelled.
Shrine priests then appeared next to the couple as they carried smoking plants and began to walk around them, gently tapping them with the leaves.
“Let the sacred leaves of the cherry and the rice and the lavender purify and consecrate your union; for they are pure and born from the breath of the Gods,” next, a pair of maids approached bringing with them two small cups and a bottle of wine. “Drink the blood of the Gods, a most precious gift; never abused, always enjoyed, just like your love. Drink three times, for three times you shall be blessed and three times you shall swear your devotion. One to bring honor to the heavens and your ancestors. Two to give thanks to the earth, for it is strong and wise; to be bound in love for all your lives and beyond. Three to praise the Gods and be blessed with their touch; children a plenty to have and take care of!”
The maids handed them the cup and slowly, never breaking eye contact, the couple drank the strong yet sweet wine three times.
“With the promise made, now come the gifts. Bring forth your gifts to be united in sacred marriage,” said the Elder.
Celestia brought forth a small wooden toy preserved via magic just in case she would ever need it were she to marry. She was glad that draconequus marriage ceremonies and pony ones were similar in that aspect. Holding the small toy against her chest, right above her heart, she closed her eyes and began to breathe in order to calm her nerves.
Then, she turned to Discord. “Watashi wa, anata to tomoni, anata o aishi, anata o sasae, anata o aishi, watashi no zenryoku o anata ni sasageru koto o chikaimasu. Issho ni ite don'na toki demo soba ni tatte. Aisuru mono yo, anatagata o kokorokara aishiteirukarada.”
Discord, his family, and pretty much everyone else was stunned at her sudden confession. Blushing, she continued. “I know I’m still learning and my dracoris is very sloppy. Just in case I said something wrong, ehem. I vow to be with you, to love you, to support you, to care for you, and to give you my all. To be together and to stand at your side no matter what. For I love you with all my heart, my beloved,” she repeated her vow before handing her gift to Discord.
Discord then smiles and brings out a small stone. “I am terrible at speeches. So I will do something simple,” he then crushed the stone, with turned into a sunstone, one of the most precious, rarest gemstones in the Empire. “I can’t imagine my life without you, Celestia. I want to be your husband and you mine wife, mi amor.”
They locked gazes for a few seconds before turning, not to the Elder, but to the Gods. They merged their gifts and threw them at their pyres. The flames erupted in flashes of different colors for several seconds before the flames turned golden; their gifts accepted by the Gods themselves.
The Elder threw his arms up. “The Gods bless this wedding with their approval! REJOICE!” At that, every draconequus preset chanted at the same time ‘Yorokobu!’.
After that, they each were handed a unique flower reserved for wedding ceremonies only. It was beautiful and crystalline. They then moved to the trees of the Gods planted behind their pyres. They simultaneously proceeded to plant the flowers next to the trees. The flowers withered away almost instantly after and a small branch grew from the tree. They retrieved their respective branch, knelt (or in Celestia’s case, haunched), and offered their branches to the pyres while pointing at the statues of the Gods. The fire danced and shone beautifully for a few seconds, then it stopped; the golden color never changing.
Of course, their wedding couldn’t be complete without Discord wanting to do something remarkable. That’s why they had thrown their gifts to the pyres. Traditionally, the gifts were exchanges, accepted, and then blessed by the Elder who then, in turn, placed them inside a golden urn for them to take back home as a reminder of their union. And while throwing the gifts wasn’t traditional, some did it. The flames were lit thousands of years ago by the Gods themselves and nothing could suffocate them. When someone places something inside the pyres, it was spat back out, intact. But when that something, namely speaking, were the gifts of a couple currently undergoing through a marriage ceremony, the flames consumed them. No one knew exactly what happened except for the colors.
Black flames indicated the Gods were against the marriage. Red that the marriage had a sad future ahead of them if they continued together. Green that they were okay with it. Blue that happiness would be theirs. Grey was the same as blue, but only if they worked for it. Pink signaled pure love but that they should wait a bit, as it warned of brashness. Orange meant the Gods were glad to see them finally together. White meant the couple was destined to be together, and quite possibly they were lovers reunited from a previous life. But Golden? Golden meant the Gods themselves blessed their marriage.
The cost was great, not just for the outcome, but for sacrificing the gifts in order to achieve it. But if the Gods themselves said so, then no one, not even the Emperor, would dare question their divine will.
The Elder spent the next half an hour reciting exploits and blessing by the Gods, their pyres burning bright with golden fire the whole way through. When he was done, maids and servants clapped simultaneously three times with measured, practiced pace to ward off any lingering evil spirits.
“And so it is, and so shall be. Blessed by the highest authority, you are to be married; husband and wife; mates to love and care for each other,” he nodded to the crowd.
Hades and Persephone, both unable to stop crying, approached holding a pillow with a ring sitting on it. They approach Discord and stand by him. The Elder then nods again, this time to the other side of the crowd. Luna and Twilight stand up, both carefully carrying a similar pillow with a ring lying on it peacefully. They approach Celestia and stand by her.
“Now, the rings may be exchanged; the symbols of eternal union that go beyond plan fidelity and romance; they are commitment, compromise, and undying love,” Hades and Persephone exchanged places with Luna and Twilight, neither pair willing to stop the rivers flowing down their eyes.
“Bride. Groom. You may now emblaze your figures with the holy exchange of rings,” the Elder estated.
Using her wing, Celestia put her ring on Discord’s middle claw-hand finger. Discord used his lion paw to put his ring on her horn. When it was done, Hades, Luna, Persephone, and Twilight returned to their seats. The maids and servants then attend to the gathered present and give them a cup of wine.
“With the blessed blood of the Gods, two families join as one! Shiawasena!”
“Shiawasena!” Everyone says before drinking the wine in one go. “Shiawasena!”
“Shiawasena!”
“Shiawasena!”
“Shiawasena!”
The Elder steps off the podium and walks until he is in front of the couple. He then kneels in front of them. “May your lives be full of happiness and joy; may the Gods watch over you. SHIAWASENA!”
“Shiawasena!” Their families replied.
At once, everyone bowed before the couple. The Elder goes back to his knees, dows a respectful bow before each of the Gods, stands up, claps his hands three times, and then turns to the couple once more. “The Groom may now kiss the Bride. Shiawasena!”
They didn’t hear him. They kissed with passion despite it only being a chaste union of lips. After a few seconds, they parted and their families erupted in cheers. With a final blessing from the Elder, the crowd was allowed to move to the reception, but the couple was held back for a few parting words. Once their families were gone, not without a final knowing and proud nod from Discord’s parents, the Elder revealed his intentions.
“A final ritual must take place, away from prying eyes, for only those of high ranking and the Gods are allowed to take part in,” he snapped his fingers and two Priests rushed to the podium. They then brought out a small ornate platinum chest. The Elder moved to open the chest, pulling out from it two simple cups, some plants, and a steaming teapot. With a quick, silent blessing from the Elder, he hands the cups to the couple. “This is the final ritual to symbolize not only your union, but your gratefulness to the Gods and devotion to your new life.”
He then poured the tea to the cups. Handed them the plants, he continued. “These plants will allow you to reach a minor climax after you ingest them. The tea, containing special and ancient herbs, shall be mixed with your essence. After that, you must drink the other’s tea.”
The couple takes notice that a Priest is at the ready to catch their fluids within ritualistic crystal containers. Nodding to each other, they consume the plants without hesitation. A second after they swallow it, they, as the Elder explained, experience a weak orgasm. Nothing more than a few drops of marejuice come out of Celestia’s pussy, while precious drops of cum dribble out the tip of Discord’s cock. The Priest then pours their juices, one to each cup, and waits.
After a few seconds, the tea turns blue. Satisfied with the result, the Elder speakers up again. “Now, exchange cups and drink the tea, so your union may be final and true.”
Celestia and Discord exchange cups and drink them; Celestia gobbles her tea mixed with her beloved’s creamy batter; Discord slurps loudly as his spiked tea with marejuice travels down his gullet. When the cups are empty, they return it to the Elder, who in turn returns them to the chest and hands it to a Priest in order to undergo the ceremonial cleaning process. “May you go in peace, with the blessing of the Gods to guide you.”
The Elder bows one last time and the couple is allowed to go meet their family and friends at the reception. The ensuing party was a blast. Banter, jokes, exchange of stories, funny anecdotes, and speeches were given. No one fought, there were no discussions, and the ambient was filled with nothing but joy and happiness.
With the reception at its end, the couple ended it with a final speech by Discord.
“I never had many friends in the past. Shocker, I know. I left my land, my family, and my loved ones in the pursuit of freedom. And while I will never take back what I did, since that allowed me to reach the spot where I am not, I am grateful to Fluttershy, who is absent this day but is with me at heart, for teaching me friendship and to open my heart to more than just my own selfish desires. Now, I am here, reunited with my family, loved ones, and my beautiful wife.”
“I don’t know what the future awaits for us, but we will face it together, and together we shall prevail! For Harmony!”
“For Harmony!”
“Now, enjoy the party, go to sleep early, and see you later, ‘cause my wifey and I have a honeymoon to attend!” He declared before snapping his fingers. And in a flash, the newlyweds were gone.
