We all lost someone that day, we all changed one way or another, but the young wolf changed the most. His usual happy, chatty behaviour replaced by cold silence and venomous hate, and as he grew older, his ways became those of a butcher, a maniac. Young Skolas became Skolas, the Rabid. I could not stomach his hate... - Variks, the Loyal answering to Mara Sov, Reefborn Queen and new kell to House Wolves

Darkness yet again, only now it wasn't as cold as before. He remembered only vaguely what had happened but moments before. Was it moments? Probably hours by now but who knows when all you see is a black abyss? His senses hadn't returned yet, yet he knew he was somehow still conscious in some way or another, and that he wasn't alone. There was someone else with him inside his head and he didn't like it one bit. Whoever it was, kept their distance, wich was a smart move, and didn't reveal themselves either, also pretty smart. He was already cooking up a plan as to what to do with the intruder. Invading someone's head, a KELLS head, HIS head without permission was reason enough for him to kill- THERE, he heard it again, a similar gasp as the one he heard when it had first entered his head, and as he searched his mind he caught a glimpse of blue before it, as well as the entity, dissapeared completely. He was alive again for but an hour, thrown off a mountainside and now his own mind was being invaded. Was this some cruel joke by the Gods for his failures, or did the universe just hate him? From what he knew about the universe, it was probably both, with a hint of chaotic energy to complete it.

Voices, there were voices. He couldn't hear them, but he felt the trembling in his ears, he also had this gut feeling he wasn't on the ground anymore. It was either time to meet the black bugs again, or he was going to be judged by the Gods soon. Both seemed unpreferable in any circumstance. He tried to listen to the small trembles in his ear canal, make sense of them in any way, so that whatever happens, he could at least prepare. He was surprised to feel a pressure he didn't even realize was there begin to dissapear, wich allowed his ears the ability to actually hear the voices instead of feeling them.

''-nd you are sur...ever this thing is kn...ou were ther...?''

''-Ouldn't lie abou...is! It sens...andering around it's thou...was sure he was drea...''

''Enough! Both of you! This crea...ying and in pa...ually thin...reeks of dea...need more tim...elp it...ead trauma. Perhaps you...that?''

More human speech, it would seem the black bugs caught him first then. He would soon find out as the pressure in the back of his head lifted even more. His senses came back even slower than before, but at least he knew what to do now. Scent? 7 notably different creatures and what seemed to be a medical bay. Taste? Still shitty ether and blood, though less than before. Touch? Pain, more pain and surprisingly enough, the feeling of warm cloth on his skin as well as a warm tingling throughout his body. It took a while, but sight came back after a solid chunk of time of listening to the creatures around him bickering and arguing, not that he understood a word of it anyway. His vision slowly returned but was hazy and swam around heavily. He could only make out shapes of those around him, wich was only four out of the seven he first smelled. They weren't black bugs like he had thought though, they were as diverse in color as the skies above Elik-ha itself. Blue, pink, white, green. So many colors, yet there was a notable lack of black, as well as a lack of bug.

They must've seen the glow of his bright blue eyes because the more his vision stabilized, the more he found himself being stared at with dropped jaws.

''A-alright then, i-i-it's awake. S-somehow.'' the fear was ever present in who he guessed the doctor's voice, a voice that sounded a lot like that crazy man on Io...

''Well, what do you think we should do now, doctor?'' that voice was of the blue female to his right, with the doctor on his left. Now that he could see better, the blue one looked a lot like Blue from the windows.

''Well, i'd suggest we keep it here and let it heal. There's only so much our magic can do for creatures who's magical aura is almost non-existent. Plus, you wished to keep it between the people currently in the room and the best way to do that, would be to keep him here under a watchful eye until it's fit for relocation.''

''I understand, but i must return to my nightly duties as soon as possible. I can be assured that you will bring me reports of its condition every six hours?''

''Of course, Princess. I will not let you, or this creature, down.''

''And please, bring it some food. If its wounds won't be its end, starvation will.''

Blue began walking to the door far left of him.

''I'm on it, Princess. Anything else?''

Blue stopped right in front of the door, hand already turning the doorknob.

''That is it, doctor. I'm counting on you, there has to be more to this sudden appearance other than random chance.'' Blue finished before walking through and having 2 guards take her place at the door.

''We'll be leaving too then, doc. I got a wedding to finish.'' A white male with blue hair in scratched, yet still beautiful gold armor said, upon wich a pink equine joined his side.

''That'll make three of us then. Well, except for the wedding part. I'll be spending my time freeing my guards from their green, slimy prisons.'' Another female voice wich he couldn't see the origin of said with obvious venom, but also fatigue in her voice.

''Well then, Captain Armor,, Princess Cadenza, Captain Nightshade, i wish you all a a good night. Guards Cloud and Chaser, please inform me when his condition destabilizes. Other than that, don't get my patient or yourselves hurt, please?'' Those were the doctor's last words before he too left the room he was in. Now all was quiet, except for the occasional gust of wind howling outside. He took this moment to take in his surroundings once more. He was indeed in some sort of medical bay, though it seemed outdated when compared to those on his ketch. Yes, it had iv's and basic common medical equipment, but they were not at all advanced in any way. The grey walls were boring and the furniture's only feature was that it was made of wood. The guards at the door seemed uncomfortable being in his presence. Good, at least he knew he was still feared. The left guard was a female, had a lighter shade of green fur and red hair that was mostly tucked under her gold helmet, from wich portruded a spiraling horn. The right guard was a male, slightly shorter than the green guard, had light-blue fur and short, light-brown hair wich was visible, since he was tinkering with his helmet and a set of wings on his back. There wasn't much else to look at other than some weird canvas filled with random smears on the wall. Probably art.

The silence was unusual, other than the light dinging sounds of a helmet it was completely quiet. Too quiet. He couldn't get up to walk, or escape, in his pulverized form and he didn't speak the language well enough to know what the fuck was going on. So he did the only thing he could do, sleep. Wich was surprisingly easy, you'd think the wounds, broken bones deep cuts would hurt more, but they didn't. Probably just a powerful painkiller. He closed his eyes and with the final thought of what the everliving fuck had happened today, he drifted off to sleep. A light sleep, but sleep nonetheless.

Author's Note

Second chapter up bois, i might be able to make something out of this. If my spelling is even worse or the formatting is weird in any way, my phone decided it would do an automatic reset and clean out my whole ass phone, wich is now only good for writing and reading. Anyways, i hope i'm not boring you with the more slow style of writing. I'm not just gonna thrust Skolas' ass in this new world and have him be an op action hero. No, i'm gonna try a slower approach and make my own AU. Possibly even a New Destination series, as well.
