Alessa grumbled as she sat on the curb. Once again, like every other day in this hell hole of a town, it was unbelievably foggy. The little girl watched as the mist swirled around in a slow, chaotic soup of slightly light grey, slightly dark grey, and just plain grey.

Alessa sighed. She preferred the Otherworld over this gloomy scene. Unlike now, the hellish transformation left the town with a beautiful pallet of reds, yellows, and other warmer colors.

But only Pyramid Head can bring about that darkness.

Sure, Alessa could conjure up SOME darkness, but not enough to turn all of Silent Hill into her personal rust and blood laden paradise.

The little girl stood up with confidence. Clenching her fists, she closed her eyes tightly and started to concentrate. With a moaning chorus in the background, a small circle in the concrete street started to peel like sped up wallpaper. The peels floated up and burned into ash.

The once-concrete circle was replaced with rusted grate. The darkness underneath the weak iron platform bellowed out hot winds from the fires deep within the abyss of pain and terror.

Alessa loved that wind. It warmed her up like a good fire on christmas. When was the last time she actually celebrated christmas? She didnt really remember...

Oh wait.

Once, sometime long ago, Pyramid Head had tried to recreate the christmas scene for Alessa when she first arrived. But he unfortunatly, if not hilariously, failed to do so when he thought rapping presents with skin and using intestines as bows were good ideas.

Slowly, the hellish circle around Alessa had started to fade away as she missed Pyramid Head more and more. She seated herself on the curb once more with a humph, both hands holding up her head, her elbows on her lap. She continued to pout more and more, getting more and more depressed with each wish of her friend...no...her father to come home.

Suddenly, a warm and familiar hand placed itself on Alessa's shoulder. With a quick glance she looked to see the owner of that hand.

It was Nursie, or more specifically, Pyramid Head's girlfriend.

"Hey sweetie," she said with a sweet voice. "What are you doing out here all alone?"

Alessa humfed and returned to her previous position. "Nothing..."

The Nurse pouted a little underneath her wrappings. "Aw come on, you know you can tell me anything."

Alessa remained quiet. With a little more examination, Nursie could see that Alessa's mind was in deep thought about something that had been bothering her for a while.

"Yeah... I miss him too." Nursie said with a sigh as she buried her chin in her crossed arms.

Alessa shot a look at the Nurse. "How did you know I was thinking of him?"

"Well, don't you think I miss him too? I love him as much as you do, you know."

Alessa absorbed this for a second. "Yeah, I guess..."

As she lowered her head once again, Alessa was suddenly grasped by Nursie and brought in for a tight hug.

"Don't worry about it, sweetie..." Nursie said soothingly, stroking Alessa's dark hair. "He'll be back soon. I just know it."

The little girl returned the hug as her side of her face became soothingly warmer from the heat of Nursie's bosom. She looked up for a second at the nurse's bandaged face.

"Promise?"

Nursie gave a small nod to Alessa as she released her. "Now then," Nursie said as she held on to the girls hand. "Let's go see what Walter and Vatiel are up to." The two began to walk down the side walk.

"Do you think we can see Mr. Butcher too?" Alessa said hopefully.

"Maybe." said the nurse. "Its something to hope for, isn't it?"
