Ansa Sito sat in her dining room. She began to weigh in her options.

Yesterday, an urgent report had arrived from one of her swallow. They have managed to acquire classified information regarding a high ranking navy officer moving to Hjortland.

The Equestrian attaché, Major Padded Mane, present at yesterday's meeting, had pushed for a mission to assassinate him. The war had brought Equestria to its knee. Changeling u-boats raided their sea faring convoys while the Kriegsmarine rules the Lunar Seas. Eliminating him would prove useful in regaining control of said ocean.

Yet, the attack will reveal the true strength of the Grey State, her resistance movement. So far, she believes the Changeling Queendom to not be aware of their true size. Only minor raids have been launched against their holding and on a rare basis. They have so far kept assemblies and troop movement to a minimum, preferring to lie low until the right time.

Should the presence of a highly organized resistance movement be known by killing an eminent officer, undoubtedly a reprisal towards the civilian population can be expected. And with her entire forces congregated in the southern peninsulas, what hope of surviving to they have once the changeling make their move?

But the Equestrian do need their support. The lost of Los Pegasus three months ago decimated an entire army group. The fall of Canterlot last month brought down their morale while losing Cloudsdale meant defeat in the sky. Major Padded Mane made it clear that a victory at the seas could mean cutting off the Changeling from the resources they need. In doing so, they hope that the enemy won't be able to replace their loses.

Yet she also needs them to win. It would all be for nothing if Equestria loses the war.

Following a long deliberation, she made a decision for the forthcoming assembly.

With that, the world waits for midnight.
