Discovery of him|
It's morning that's all you can think about as you try to remember last night you didn't think that you could drink that much let alone handle the flavour but I guess you were proven wrong as you get up with a pounding headache and foul smelling sweat radiating through your senses
You decide a shower is your best bet of smelling better than hard liquor and body odor
When your done you reach for the medicine cabinet knowing full well you'll need to take something to focus and get rid of this headache
Taking three ibuprofen and a swig of water you wonder what to do with your day
Deciding on your usual you sit on your couch and turn on your Poni
You decide to watch a reality show you never bothered to figure out the name of but liked when it came on
"Damnit just kiss or something already!" You half yell at the actors on screen the mare and stallion looking in each other's eyes before looking away with flushed faces
You shook your head and got off the couch looking for something to at least sate your hunger
When you open up the fridge it's practically empty save for leftover pizza which you grab and take back to your couch happy that you at least had something left
"I need to get some groceries..." You said but only half heartedly even though you need to you really didn't want to and that was enough persuasion to stay home
As soon as you get comfortable you hear a loud bang on your roof and the metal popping as who or whatever it was slowly slid off of it and then landed in the grass
"What the hell..?" You slowly get up and look out your window there was a stallion you've never seen before you may not have friends but you know almost everyone in town and well...this wasn't someone you knew
You make your way to the door and put your hoof on the handle and stopped...
You were never good with other ponies and you really don't want someone else to come in your life and then to leave and never come back
Every muscle in your body screamed for you to stop but you didn't you opened the door and walked outside there was definitely a stallion in the grass he
Wait he's bleeding badly you stopped again your heart beating faster you've never been in this situation and wonder what to do
You picked him up and carried him inside despite your whole being trembling and trying to stop you from doing so, you managed to wrap him up in blankets and lay him on the couch
You stood there for a good minute or two trying to calm yourself down and deduce what the next thing to do would be
You had a spark of enlightenment as you went and grabbed a washcloth and wet it in the sink as well as getting some in a cup for the stallion and came back
You let him sip the water and when he was done you started to clean the dirt and blood off of him he was definitely starting to look better than he was except he looked hungry
You went to the kitchen and made a berry smoothie and came back and feed it to him he recoiled at first until the sweet flavor washed over his taste buds
He was definitely more relaxed
You then realized you didn't have anywhere to sit
The floor? To hard
Stand? Nope
Couch? No, I don't want to move him...
Unless...
You pick him up slightly and slide under him then lay him back down his head was now on your chest but you didn't mind because he was warm another good sign
You pulled him up more your chin now on his forehead you still didn't mind even though it made you blush a little
He seemed even more relaxed now and even seemed to smile but if he did it hurt so it didn't last long
Christ the commercials on TV seen to be more repetitive now like Everytime you blink Minnuette is talking about coming in for dental and to keep your teeth clean or the Flim Flam brothers with another invention that with them anything they make is a fifty fifty if it's not a hit it's broken
Equestria is a weird place...
You look at the time and realize it's dinner time your starving but you don't want to move him so no more damage is done and because your feeling lazy
After five more minutes of your stomach telling you to get off your ass you do and head to the kitchen after gently getting out from under the stallion in which you were trapped or rather relaxing
Picking out some microwavable things and popping them in you wait for it to beep
A minute or two and you hear it and take the hot pockets out you made some for the stallion but he was asleep now so you put tin foil over it and put it back in the microwave to keep it warm making sure the timer was set to 0 so it didn't accidentally start
You head back to the living room and... Damnit no where to sit and if you sat under him you wouldn't be able to reach your food you sigh and sit at the kitchen table and eat after almost burning your mouth with the hot pockets and becoming full you got back under the stallion making sure he was wrapped up properly and comfortable
You sighed you felt tired but you weren't sure whether to sleep under... With the stallion but being lazy anyway you decided to fall asleep there anyway

The next morning your hugging a blanket to your chest that has a bit of dirt and blood on it when you open your eyes you sense absolutely nothing is wrong it's just another day... That is of course until you notice that the blanket is empty and The proof it wasn't a dream is all over the blanket
You throw the blanket on the other side of the couch and panic looking around the room before spotting something there's a foldable table with a plate on it containing eggs and bacon and next to it a glass of milk
"H-huh..?" You don't know what to say so that's all that comes out you spot a piece of paper taped to the glass of milk it reads: "thank you for helping me I made you breakfast I decided to get some fresh air and will be on the porch due to unfortunate events leaving me flightless for the time being"
You weren't sure how to feel your still very scared of what could happen but relieved he's doing ok and that you'll have company for a longer period... Even if that company is a stranger that your afraid of but worried for
Eyeing the food your decided to trust it mainly because your stomach but partly because if he wanted to hurt you get he would've done it while you were asleep
Eating what felt like the best tasting breakfast you've ever had you take care of the plate and glass and slowly sidle up to the door thinking whether or not to open it
You slowly open up the door the stallion is holding on to the side of the porch and looking out on the horizon being as you wanted to be isolated you picked a high place and to have to admit it's beautiful especially at night when the suns rays turn the sky your favorite colors purple pink and red and then Luna's stars and Moon shine down on you it's... Lovely
He turns to look at you with a smile he's clean now he probably used the shower too you looked at him and your heart dropped it looked like he had a Halo atop his head it could be because you were isolated for so long but his smile his square jaw and short hair all looked perfect to you
This stallion...
You slowly shut the door again before having a heart attack...
Your hooves were shaking
"So..." You told yourself "he's... Actually here and real..."
Great...
"Guess it's time to call a friend..."
You pick up the phone and dial the number you know so well
Someone picks up before the second ring
"Hi Twilight how have you been..?"

This is my first story I'm going to post on here and I hope that someone sees it this is a story that takes place on the edge of Ponyville with a mare that had isolated herself and one day a stallion falls from the sky then her roof and she's recalling the story of him now pay attention because there's a twist in the end but you might be able to figure it out before it gets there

"Hi Twilight how have you been..?"
"Oh my Celestia it's been so long! How are you!?"
Twilight yelled through the phone without warning causing you to wince as your ear rung with the tomfuckery of sound
"I asked first..."
You say not wanting to answer the question or at least not truthfully needing time to find an answer that would please the princess
"Oh right sorry... I'm quite well it's been tough with all the work lately but other than that it's going good."
You could practically hear twilight beaming which made you both disgusted and happy because of it your left and right brain really don't like you
"I'm doing...uh... Well as well er watching TV eating some nice salads..."
Taking care of bloodied up stallions falling from the sky
"That sounds uh... Nice how's the weather; I'm guessing it's pretty much the same for both of us but still."
Weather the son of a bitch that makes and breaks everything even conversation
"Nice and sunny and the nights seem to be nice too."
This wasn't a lie you actually enjoyed the outdoors in your isolated place
"That's good... So... Something happened didn't it?"
You sighed twilight was smart and she knew you so of course she'd know what's going on
"Uh..."
How do I word this a stallion came falling out of the sky covered in mud and blood whom I cleaned off and pretty much cuddled all night
"Um..."
Oh for fu-
"There's a stallion."
Yours ears suddenly started committing suicide at the noise twilight made which could probably shatter bullet proof glass if she held it long enough
"Oh my God I'm so excited!"
She was excited so excited in fact that started rattling off things about future plans that was until
"That fell out of the sky onto my roof..."
Twilight stopped so fast that time felt like it went backwards for a second
"O-oh sorry I...I thought..."
Whoops
"Hey hey twi it's ok your fine you just got excited is all."
She seemed to find that good enough to feel better again
"Right... So why did you call me than? Does he need medical help and you don't know how to do it yourself? I know you don't like ponies but you should at least take him to a hospital or something."
I wish I did
"No it's not that it's just... What do I do he seems like he's not even from here yet he's... He's another pony I don't know how to put it and not only that he...I don't feel threatened by him Its just the normal feeling I get when I'm around people but much less intense like a child afraid of the dark finally realizing it's not bad and that it's more relaxing..."

Twilight didn't say anything for a few seconds she was silent enough you thought you got ghosted or she hung up
"Well...if that's how you feel, get to know them; if he's someone you don't feel scared towards and the first guy you actually got near not to mention see the inside of your house or even the outside of it from more than oh about three miles away, than I think you could get a friend... Or a *ahem * good friend out of them; do you know their name at all?"
Oh umm...hmm

"No."
You heard twilight sigh
"Go. talk to him. ask his name. no bullshit or getting scared this will be good for you."
When twilight talks in short ungrammatically correct sentences she's serious so when she swears there's no getting out of it from small things like cleaning up or if she wanted she could even get you to blow up the world with a single grain of gunpowder and you would try until you did it too that's how convincing she could be
And you were intimidated
"O-ok I w-will..."
Twilight makes another Happy high pitched noise except this one doesn't pound your ear drums like
Thankfully
You hang up before you get another ringing in your ear and take a few breaths
"Alright so... Just... Talk to him?"
If your heart was beating fast before it's going to explode now as you reach for the door
To bad it opened before you could do it yourself and the stallion walked in
Thankfully he did it slowly so you didn't get as startled as you would've been if he had came in gung ho
"Uh hi."
He said to you seeming to not know what to say himself which actually made you feel better if only a little
"H-hi..."

At least I answered
That wasn't an answer that was a question with a period at the end
Shut up
"Are you... Ok?"
The stallion asked seeing your inner debate
"I-i should ask the same for... You..."
He gave a small smile and raised an eyebrow
"I guess but I asked first."
Damn
"I'm... Fine"
Good enough
"I to am feeling fine."
You knew where this was heading he was going to give the same thing he got...
"I'm a little... Scared by other ponies...a-and other things..."
He relaxed and made himself smaller as to get on your level
"Don't worry I won't hurt you."
You knew that already even if you were scared of him but at least hearing it makes you feel less frightened
"Th-thanks..."
He nodded
And just stood there this let your eyes wander against your will remembering the seeming halo and how perfect he looked to you even though you didn't really want to know this person you really wanted to know them
He waved at you
"Hey uh... My eyes are up here."
You knew oh you knew
"Sorry... You can come in..."
He waited a second before coming further in the house and then stopped again and started to shuffle a bit you could tell he didn't know what to do
"Y-you can go ahead and sit down..."
He seems relieved and sits on the couch
"S-so what happened yesterday... With the falling from the sky..?"
He looked at you then sighed
"Well..."
(Back to the campfire)
"I know what he said and I'll try to tell it you the way I have for the whole story but he didn't tell me everything and I know he didn't so it may seem weird"
The story teller mare said
The mystery pony on the other side nodded
"To whomever else it's listening I hope your enjoying."
Before looking at you and smiling
"Don't be surprised the fourth wall is the weakest one..."
You strap on your backpack and make sure your suits on straight before heading inside the chopper
As you do you sit down and put the headset on and start talking to the pilot
"Everyone is on board, checked and secured, ready for lift."
The pilot nods before saying "copy." And flipped a few switches a well as pressing some buttons and the blades atop The chopper came to life
You sigh and do a double take of your comrades they have become your best friends at this point no sorry family
You had LT.John who was always ready to protect the team some of us are still here only because of him the latest person he saved was private Anderson
Private Anderson was the newest member of the team he's a specialist in recon and is our sniper your truly surprised he wasn't promoted yet he's helped keep us on the right path
The last but not least member was LT. Zach he was our engineer so we called him Gears he always had his tools on him even though we told him it would be harder to sneak or shoot due to the weight and noise but he just laughed as he brewed coffee then afterword would clean his custom desert eagle
You chuckled
Even though you know the hell that is war you can't help but feel better knowing these guys got your back
You stopped smiling when the chopper started rocking violently and the pilot said
"We have a problem there's a waterspout here I don't know if we can get through it!"
You said what any scared person would
"Just steer clear!"
The pilot just shook his head
"No shit!"
You felt the chopper jerk as the pilot attempted to steer clear of the waterspout but to no avail the tail was ripped off and more of the chopper was following suit you held on to your chair and unbuckled it seemed stupid but if you could hold on you wouldn't drown either
Pretty soon the chopper was flung and that hit the ocean knocking you out cold...
Your head hurts like really bad you groan but don't dare move yet you feel light waves lapping at your heels that was good you could feel you sat there gathering your senses slowly after you were sure nothing was broken you pulled yourself out the sand and wiped yourself off
"Where...am I?"
You genuinely wondered because you didn't know of any islands anywhere near where you were so naturally you were stumped and suddenly a little fearful just how far did your body drift?
You got started on gathering supplies you couldn't find your backpack and your gun would have to dry before you dare fire it so no hunting today
After a while you managed to start a fire with a makeshift bowdrill and some leaves after which you carefully added wood until you had a real campfire glad you were taught how to do it otherwise it'd be cold tonight or you think so anyway as you crack open a coconut after torturing it with a strong stick by beating it half to shit
As you drink and eat the coconut and bask in the heat of the fire you silently hope one of your friends shows up but not really you hope there not stuck and better yet hope there still alive
You lay down in the sand and stare at the stars than you smile you just saw a shooting star you close your eyes and wish to get out of this place before falling asleep
Your awake or at least your getting there your eyes are still heavy and your yawning you stretch your arms in the grass around you

You sit up abruptly this isn't where I was which is weird cause I was just somewhere that didn't even exist as far as anyone knew
You scan the area wondering where the hell you magically appeared and stand up
"Hello...is...is anyone out there!?"
You yell into the woods surrounding you before something catches your eye something shiny is that..?
You walk to the shiny object and realize it's a bell just a lone been connected to a post you look around seriously considering that you died and went to limbo before turning back to the bell

You decided that it was best to ring it not expecting much so it was a damn surprise when the ground started shaking
"Wh-what is happening!?"
A house rose from the ground and than the rumbling stopped giving you a heart attack and making you do a double take
"What?"
Is all you could manage before you stood up and took an actual deep look at the place, it was what looked to be a church except bordering on a cottage you couldn't really explain it any other way
Looking at your surroundings than the house again you decided it was your best bet
Walking up to the door you stopped momentarily
Who would be smart and or crazy enough to build this?
You sighed opting that you would have to find out before knocking
For a while no one answered making you think about just going in and dealing with the consequences afterward but just before you got to that it opened and your head went haywire
A small mare with a puffy mane and tail had opened the door that wasn't what made you brain go haywire it was how big is eyes were and how it stared at you with confusion like you were the weird creature and it didn't help that the mare had asked you if you were ok
You shook your head and took a spit take before asking "you... You can... Talk?"
The mare looked at you even more confused before nodding and saying
"Yes yes I can as can we all why do you ask?"
You sat down in the grass and muttered something about dreams and that you hope it doesn't become a nightmare before the mare speaks again
"Are you... Alright?"
You took a deep breath let it out and replied "I don't know but uh I guess I should tell you my name?"
The mare shook her head and said "I don't accept names unless I really know you." Before thinking for a moment and asking if your lost to which you say
"Considering I was washed up on an island and then woke up in The field over there... Yeah...I uh I am."
The mare rolled her eyes and invited you in which after a few moments of thinking you accepted and went inside
It was nice it looked much bigger on the inside and it felt like this place has many magics working throughout it making you shiver wondering how it was even possible for such things to exist
The mare spoke breaking your reverie "so what are you I've never seen one of you before the closest thing I've seen are the beings that come from the mirror?"
You thought wondering what that meant before telling her "i-im a human.."
She seemed puzzled seemingly not expecting that answer "but you did not come from a mirror correct?"
You shook your head at least knowing that no that is not where you came from
She sighed "I suppose you do look different from the ones that came from the mirror still an odd equivalency between you and them..."
You decided not to ask despite wanting to "i-i don't really know where I am I was flying in a helicopter which is basically a big metal bird when we hit a waterspout sending us crashing I woke up on an island that I didn't know existed than feel asleep and woke up in that field over there..."
Oddly she didn't seem puzzled at that rather she looked a bit happy
"Ah so my magic worked!" She beamed at you
You shook your head "what do you mean..?"
She cleared her throat before saying "well you see I was working on a spell that would bring an unknown creature to me dangerous or otherwise I didn't realize that was you!"
You twitched and suddenly couldn't hear anything but your heartbeat
This...thing brought you here
This thing made you crash
This thing made you lose your squad who you don't know if they're dead or alive
"You...did this..?" You ask barely breathing
The mare nods with a smile
You fall to your knees taking in a ragged breath before screaming out and bringing your fist down on the floor shattering both the wood and your hand you couldn't feel it though you couldn't feel anything not even true anger just despair
The mare visibly recoils at your outburst and starts cowering behind her tail after running to a corner
After a few minutes of almost nothing the world comes to again you cough and breath deep choking for air as you didn't breath throughout your whole episode and then suddenly you couldn't breath again

You felt white hot pain up your arm your hand was shattered it was so broken it looked like a cartoon
After nearly a whole minute of silent screaming you finally could draw breath and so you did harshly gasping air
After a few moments you felt better the burning in your hand didn't cease but it wouldn't for a while
You looked over in the corner at the mare she looked absolutely terrified shaking and even screwing her eyes shut as if hoping she'd disappear
You attempt to speak which proves almost futile you screamed hard enough to rip your vocal cords not completely but you wouldn't be able to talk for a while
This didn't stop you from trying again
"I...I...m so-o-rr...y."
Your not sure she heard it cause she didn't stop what she was doing but before you could try again she slowly opened her eyes
She looked at you there was still fear in her eyes but there was also something else worry not for herself but for you
You attempted to speak again but couldn't you rubbed your throat and shook your head before laying on your back in defeat
You heard shuffling than hooves on the wood but you didn't move waiting to be kicked out or worse as you ran your good hand over the broken one trying not to let the pain make you cry the last thing you heard was small hoofsteps before you closed your eyes and passed out
You woke up on a small bed wait no a gurney with a slight pain in your head to which you bring your hand to and rub a little than you rub both eyes with your hands

Your eyes shoot open fast as you check your hands neither of them are broken or in pain the only thing showing any signs of it ever being broken is a bruise on a few of your knuckles
Looking around your in a white room almost a nurse's office without a desk or jars with fancy tools they'd stick in your mouth or a sink or cabinets...so it was a white room with you and a gurney nurses office... whatever let's just continue
You sat up and slid your legs over the gurney hoping you didn't somehow suffer any injuries like that even though it would probably be healed
Standing up revealed you did not in fact have any leg injuries this was good and you felt better as you walked to the door and opened it revealing a hallway oddly you didn't see this hallway before assuming you were in the same place
Taking a breath you walk down the hallway one thing you noticed was that there were not other hallways or doors just paintings and a few bookshelves here and there
When you finally reached the end of the hallway you came out into a living room you did remember this although you didn't come in here so you walked into the house entryway
Opening your mouth to speak you found you could not perfectly but definitely better
"Talking Mare?" You called out careful not to be too loud as to hurt yourself again
She didn't answer but you did hear and smell something in the kitchen so you decided to look there and that gratefully didn't disappoint
She was cooking eggs and... Bacon you weren't sure why but she was cooking bacon
You were going to say something but then remembered what happened so you just knocked on the doorway a little hoping it wouldn't scare her
It did
She jumped a little before looking over at you
