The rays of the beautiful sun shined brightly over Equestria. More specifically, the sun shined right along the local high school, Canterlot High School. The ringing of the school bell signified the end of another tumultuous school day, the students poured out the front door to freedom. Many of them were excited seeing it was now summer vacation, a whole season to do whatever they please. One of those students is Twilight Sparkle, the lavender-colored teen clutching her schoolbooks close to her chest as she leaves the school. From her backpack, a little purple puppy and best friend, Spike, popped out.
“So, what’s the first thing we should do for summer vacation?” Spike asked, excitedly.
“First thing I’m going to do is head to the library,” Twilight smiled.
Spike groaned, face-pawing as he shook his head. Of course, this is what Twilight Sparkle would do for fun. When not at school, she practically lived in the library.
“Twilight, you go to the library every day and when you do, you don’t come home till just before dinner. By then its too late to do anything else.”
“Sorry Spike, but knowledge knows no amount of time.”
Just as Spike was about to argue, Rainbow Dash zipped toward the two on her skateboard screeching to a halt in front of Twilight. She kicked up the board and caught it in her hand, smirking at Twilight.
“What’s up, Twi?” She greeted.
“Not much Rainbow,” Twilight responded. “Just heading to the library.
Rainbow, much like Spike, groaned hearing the response.
“Really, Twilight? Do you have to be an egghead all the time?”
“It’s just what I like to do.”
“Yeah, yeah, I know. But it’s summer vacation, you can go to the library all you want when school starts back up. In the meantime, you should try to do something more… ‘Awesome’ this summer.”
“Like what?”
Rainbow rubbed her chin, considering the question. Just then, a thought popped in her head.
“How’s about you coming over to my place tonight for a sleepover?” Rainbow suggested.
“A sleepover?” Twilight questioned. “Gee, I don’t know, Rainbow.”
“Come on, I already invited the rest of the girls and they all said they’re coming. Why don’t you?”
Twilight pondered for a moment. On one hand, she could spend time with her friends while sleeping over at Rainbow’s house. But on the other hand, she could do what she wanted from the start and head straight to the library. Ultimately, she decided that spending time with her friends was much better than being by herself.
“You know, I can always go to the library any day this summer,” Twilight smiled. “I’ll see you later tonight, Rainbow.”
Rainbow smiled wide, giving Twilight a pat on the shoulder.
“Awesome! You won’t regret this! Oh, by the way, you might want to bring your swimsuit. My parents just bought this sweet hot tub and it is…”
“’Awesome’?” Twilight finished.
“Exactly!” Rainbow smirked, winking her eye.
Rainbow threw her skateboard back on the ground, skating off at super-sonic speed home. Twilight shook her head, smiling while looking after her rainbow-haired friend.
“Looks like somebody’s going out tonight,” Spike smiled.
Twilight turned her head, giving the little puppy a scratch behind the ears while smiling.
“Yes, Spike. I suppose we are.”
Spike ducks back into her backpack, as Twilight starts walking toward home. Tonight, she planned to have the most amazing time with the best group of friends a girl can ever ask for.
<>
The sky shined with a colorful blend of red, orange, and yellow haze as it sets over the horizon. Twilight, lugging along a duffle bag, approaches the front door of Rainbow Dash’s house. Spike pops out of the duffle back, as Twilight smiled down at him before knocking on the door. The door itself quickly flung open, as Twilight felt herself yanked inside and wrapped in a bone-crushing hug. The one delivering this hug was none other than her energetic, party-loving, pink friend, Pinkie Pie.
“Yippee!” Pinkie cheered, excitedly. “I’m so happy you made it, Twilight!”
“P-P-Pinkie!” Twilight wheezed. “Can’t b-breath!”
“Ooopsie!”
Pinkie immediately released Twilight, the lavender girl breathing heavily as she tried to catch her breath. Thankfully she didn’t have any cracked ribs, which would in fact sometimes happen whenever Pinkie hugs people.
“Sorry Twilight,” Pinkie apologized. “I’m just so excited for tonight!”
“It’s okay, Pinkie,” Twilight gasped. “I’ll live.”
It was then the rest of Twilight’s friends made their way into the main hall to meet their friend. Rainbow Dash came first, followed closely by Applejack, Rraity, Fluttershy, and Sunset Shimmer.
“Ya’ll went and over did the hug again, didn’t yah Pinkie?” Applejack asked.
“I said I was super-duper-mega-mondo sorry,” Pinkie said. “It’s just I always get excited whenever we get a chance to spend time together. Honestly, I thought Twilight was going to spend all her summer at the library again, but then…”
As Pinkie Pie rambled on, Twilight took the opportunity to greet and hug the rest of her friends.
“It is mighty nice ya’ll could come, Twilight,” Applejack smiled, mid-hug.
“Oh yes, darling,” Rarity nodded. “It would have been simply dreadful if you weren’t able to join us.”
“We can always count on you to spend time with us, Twilight,” Fluttershy said, softly.
“Knowing Twilight here, when it comes to us or her reading, it’s a pretty close call,” Sunset smirked. “Could’ve gone either way, right Twilight?”
“Ha-ha, so funny,” Twilight replied. “I ‘did’ think about it, but I could always spend all my time at the library whenever. But then I considered it be a great first day of summer if I spent it with my best friends.”
It was then Rainbow Dash decided to cut into the conversation.
“Alright, come on, you girls,” She teased. “This is started to get a little mushy-gushy for my taste.”
“So Dashie, what sort of super, fantastic, amazingly, splendiferous fun activities are on the agenda tonight?” Pinkie asked, excitedly.
“I’m glad you asked, Pinkie,” Rainbow responds, raising her eyebrow. “I say we kick things off with a dip in the hot tub, we’ll order up a huge pizza, totally pig out, and gather around the living room for some T.V. time!”
Everybody cheered at the idea, starting the first activity of the night. It wasn’t long before the girls quickly changed into their swimwear, making their way to the back patio where the hot tub rested. They all climb in, relaxing as the hot water soothes and relaxes their muscles.
“Oh yes,” Rarity sighed, blissfully. “This is simply divine!”
“Ah completely agree with yah there, sugar cube,” Applejack agreed.
“How were your parents able to afford this, Rainbow Dash?” Fluttershy asked.
“My dad got a new promotion at work, meaning a bigger pay raise,” Rainbow replies, lazily. “That means we could totally afford this baby and we can enjoy it whenever we want.”
Everybody leaned along the side, enjoying the warm water. Pinkie merely bounced in her seat excitedly.
“Oh my gosh, this is so much fun! Sitting in a nice hot tub together, makes me feel like I’m in the biggest pot of soup!”
Pinkie reached behind her, pulling out a cutting board, a few vegetables, and a knife. She quickly chops the vegetables, dumping the thin slices into the water. Twilight lazily turns toward her rambunctious friend, giving her a confused look.
“What are you doing, Pinkie?” Twilight asked.
Pinkie turns toward Twilight, giving her an innocent smile.
“What does it look like I’m doing silly? I said it ‘feels’ liking being in a big pot of soup, all the best soups have veggies in them.”
The other girls turn toward Pinkie as she kept chopping and dumping vegetables into the water.
“Pinkie, you’re not actually making soup out of us, are you?” Sunset asked, seriously.
“Of course not!” Pinkie assured. “If I were to make soup out of all of us, I’d need a bunch of broth. You know, now that I think about it, I believe I have some…”
“Alright, ah’m outta here,” Applejack said, quickly getting out.
“Right behind you,” Rainbow added.
“Ladies first, darling,” Rarity gasped.
Fluttershy, Sunset, and Twilight quickly jump out of the tub joining their friends in the house. Pinkie looked after them confused, munching on a carrot while shaking her head.
“Some people just aren’t big fans of veggie soup.”
<>
Soon afterwards, Pinkie Pie came back inside and rejoined the girls. By then, they just changed back into their usual attire and dried their hair.
“Pinkie Pie, I swear,” Rarity threated. “If I find any vegetable in my beautiful hair, I’ll personally ensure you will have to pay!”
“Come on, Ms. Grumpy Gus,” Pinkie smiled. “Chill out and put a smile on that face. You can’t party without a smiley face!”
She reached out, using her two index fingers to curve Rarity’s mouth into a smile. Rarity reached up and used her own fingers to pull that smile back into a frown.
“Honestly Pinkie, you know how hard I work to maintain my hair. I have no desire to be digging out a bunch of vegetables stuck in it.”
“Come on, Rarity,” Sunset groaned. “Your hair is just fine.”
“Please don’t fight girls,” Fluttershy whimpered. “This is supposed to be a fun night.”
The sound of hands clapping got everyone’s attention. They all turned to see Rainbow waving her hands around.
“Alright you guys, chill out,” Rainbow called out. “We not here to start any fights… Otherwise, I’d have to sell tickets. Tonight, it’s all about having fun this summer and that’s what we’re gonna do. Now… Follow me.”
She led them all into the living room area, where a large assortment of snacks and beverages surrounded the largest pizza in town. All set up in front of a large, big screen television. There was even a couple plus bean bag chairs set up for everyone.
“Now I believe it’s time we all sit down and enjoy a nice movie marathon,” Rainbow suggested. “Wouldn’t you say?”
Everybody smiled, nodding as they gather around. Each girl sat in their own plush bean bag chair and started digging into the pizza and snacks. Spike hopped into Twilight’s lap, as she starts stroking his back as he snuggles alongside her. Rainbow grabs the remote, turns on the T.V. and flips through channels. Sadly, every channel they pass through didn’t seem to offer anything good to watch. Soon enough, they all started to get bored.
“Man, is there nothing good on T.V. tonight or something?” Sunset groaned.
“Lately it seems like the case all the time,” Rarity sighed.
Just then, a little imaginary light bulb went off in Rainbow’s head. She remembered today was Friday and she knew exactly what they should watch. Quick as a flash, she zips through the rest of the channels while everyone else looked confused.
“Rainbow, what are you doing?” Twilight asked.
“Yeah I mean, ya’’ll going a little fast there,” Applejack said, amazed. “Ah’m surprised the television ain’t exploded by now.
“Trust me guys,” Rainbow smirked. “You’re gonna want to see what’s on tonight.”
Finally, she found the channel she searched for and everyone turned back to see what she put on T.V. On screen a giant wrestling ring appeared, inside of an arena packed with screaming fans. The camera pans over to an announcers table where three men sat around doing commentary. These men were known as Tom Phillips, Bryon Saxton, and Corey Graves.
“Good evening, ladies and gentlemen!” Tom introduced. “And welcome to Friday Night Smackdown!”
“Gentlemen, we are in for an action-packed night here tonight on Smackdown,” Byron said. “Tonight, we’re going to see the Smackdown Women’s Championship up for grabs as Bayley defends her championship against Lacey Evans.”
“Yeah, and not to mention we finally see the king of WWE, King Corbin finally putting an end to Roman Reigns as they will collide tonight for the last time,” Corey said, smugly.
“That’s nothing compared to the main event of the evening,” Tom informed. “As there will be a Six Pack elimination match to determine the number one contender for the Universal Championship between Daniel Bryan, The Miz, Shinsuke Nakamura, Kofi Kingston, Dolph Ziggler, and Braun Strowman!”
Back in Rainbow’s living room, Rainbow herself was excited and entranced in the programming. Everyone else looked rather shocked.
“Totally awesome!” Rainbow exclaimed, excitedly.
“My word darling, how can you watch such programming?” Rarity asked, appalled. “Wrestling is so barbaric!”
“I have to agree with Rarity on this one, Rainbow,” Twilight agreed.
“What are you guys talking about?” Rainbow asked. “The things they do on these shows are amazing; I mean they’re like real-life superheroes!”
“How did ya’ll even find this here show, anyhow?” Applejack asked.
“I’ve never seen it on television before,” Fluttershy whispered.
“No idea, I was just flipping through channels one day and this pops out of nowhere,” Rainbow responded. “I was so blown away; I’ve watched and enjoyed every episode these past few months. I can’t wait for my guy Roman Reigns to kick the tar out of that smug King Corbin!”
Rarity gasped, hearing such words from her friend’s mouth.
“Rainbow Dash, I’m surprised at you! How could you possibly approve such violence being inflicted on another human being?”
Rainbow rolled her eyes, groaning. Of course, if anybody could take all the fun out of wrestling, it would be Rarity.
“Trust me Rarity, just give the show a chance,” Rainbow assured. “You’ll love it before you know it.”
“I highly doubt that,” Rarity replied, skeptical. “But seeing as how I don’t really have much choice in the matter, I will try to get through it.”
“Your encouragement is very reassuring,” Rainbow spoke, sarcastically.
“I guess there’s no harm in giving it a try, right?” Sunset shrugged.
“If it gets too much, we can just flip the channel to another station,” Twilight added.
“Agreed!” The rest replied.
Nevertheless, the girls lean back into their chairs as the show began. However, just before the action could truly start, the television starts to flicker and go hay wire. Rainbow groaned, pushing off her chair and approaches the television, giving it a light tap with her palm.
“Come on, you piece of junk,” She grumbled.
“Maybe it’s just the satellite,” Twilight suggests.
“No, it’s just this cable provider. I swear if this isn’t the cheapest…”
Suddenly, the television starts to shake and rattle. Rainbow’s eyes grew wide, as she starts to back up. Everyone else looked rather spooked, even Spike jumped up as Twilight held him close.
“What’s going on, Rainbow?” Fluttershy asked, fearfully.
“I have no idea,” Rainbow shook her head.
“Is it just me or is anybody else get this strange sense of déjà vu?” Pinkie asked.
Just then, a massive whirlpool opens, and a strange sensation starts pulling the girls toward the television. They all scream, as the force lifts them in midair and sucks them into the whirlpool. They spin round and round for what felt like the longest time. Eventually, they fall flat on the ground as everything fades to black.

Another week and another jam-packed arena filled with WWE fans from as high as the nosebleed section, to so low fans could see the action up close and personal. The roar of the crowd bellows throughout the arena as the latest episode of Friday Night Smackdown gets underway. So loud, it can be heard all through the backstage area as the occupants crossed side to side attending to their own business. From referees getting set for the next match, the talent hanging out in the locker rooms, and even the promoters going over their reports.
One person walking through the backstage area, strolling toward the entrance ramp, is the big dog himself, Roman Reigns. Standing six feet, three inches tall, the Samoan Superman marches with a mean yet determined gaze as he prepares for his scheduled match against King Corbin. Dressed in his Kevlar style vest, his symbol embroidered along the front, black cargo pants, and matching wrestling boots, Reigns was ready for battle.
As he walks toward the ring, a light tremor beneath his feet makes him stop momentarily. As he looks around, he barely caught a flash of blinding white light across his eyes as he slowly turns down the hall and the light disappear as quickly as it came. His curiosity getting the best of him, Reigns runs down the hall to investigate. Rounding the corner, a look of shock and confusion forms along his face at the most unusual sight.
There, sprawled along the floor, were a group of young girls, probably high school teenagers, lying on the ground unconscious. They were the strangest looking girls Roman has ever seen, each with colorful hair and their skin-tone having a strange colorful pigment. Regardless of the appearance, they appeared to need help as Roman kneels beside them.
“You guys alright?” He asked.
But no response came from either girl. Slowly, he reached out with his gloved hand and lightly shook the shoulder of the blue-skinned girl.
“Hello? Can you hear me?”
Within a moment, the girl stirs and slowly moves, as Roman breathes a sigh of relief knowing she’s okay. Roman helps the girl sit up slowly, as her eyes open and her vision steadily returns. Once she sees the large, unknown man holding her, naturally her first response was to back away as far as she could against the wall. Roman holds up his hands defensively, showing he means no harm.
“Whoa! Whoa! Take it easy now,” He said, quickly.
The blue girl quickly searches her surroundings, then turns to her friends lying on the ground. She quickly shakes them violently, desperately trying to wake them up.
“Guys wake up! Wake up!” Rainbow shouts, loudly.
The girls too began to stir, waking from their unconscious state. As they slowly come to, they too search their surroundings before acknowledging the big man beside them. A few squeaked in shock and fear, the yellow skinned girl hides her face in her long pink hair.
“What happened to us?” Rarity asked, frantically.
“Where are we?” Sunset asked.
“G-G-Girls, I-I’m s-scared!” Fluttershy whimpered.
“Who are you?” Twilight asked Roman, fearfully.
Before Roman could response, Rainbow Dash got a good look at him. Her eyes widen, a huge smile forms along her face and suddenly it all comes together.
“No way!” She said, excitedly. “You’re Roman Reigns!”
Roman chuckles with amusement, as he nods toward the blue skinned girl.
“Yeah, I am,” He chuckled.
Rainbow jumps back to her feet, wrapping her arms around Roman’s neck with a tight hug. This caught the Big Dog off guard, his eyes widen in confusion toward this young lady. But then again, seeing as how he is a world-famous professional wrestler, he’d expect this reaction. After a moment, he smiles and pats the girl on the back as she lets go, the huge smirk retained on her face.
“This is so awesome!” Rainbow nearly squealed. “I am such a huge fan of yours, dude!”
Her friends, still seated on the ground, seemed amazed at her reaction. It’s not often Rainbow would get this excited, except that one time when they were invited to see the development of that ‘Daring Doo’ movie a long way back. But there she was, squealing like another super excited fan, as Roman kept smiling.
“Thank you, it’s always nice to meet my fans,” Roman said. “So, who might you be?”
“My name’s Rainbow Dash,” Rainbow introduced herself.
She stuck her small hand out, Roman grabbing it with his own and they shake. His hands were not ‘that’ huge by any standard. But still, the hand dwarfed Rainbow’s. As they let go, Rainbow acknowledges her other friends in the seating position, helping them up one-by-one as she introduces them to her idol.
“These are my friends,” Rainbow introduced. “This is Twilight Sparkle, Sunset Shimmer, Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy, and Pinkie Pie.”
The girls, though shocked and frightened, slowly calmed themselves and waved toward the big man.
“Hello there,” Twilight greeted.
“Charmed to make your acquaintance, darling,” Rarity greeted, sweetly.
“Howdy there, partner,” Applejack smiled.
“It’s really nice to meet you, sir,” Sunset waved.
Fluttershy, still hiding behind her hair, gave the faintest wave. Pinkie Pie gasped loudly, smiling wide as she ran toward Roman Reigns, shaking his hand vigorously.
“Hiya there friend, I’m Pinkie Pie! I just love meeting new friends, and I meet friends a lot! Then again, I think of everybody as my friend and I do mean everybody! Like Trixie, the Dazzlings, the Crystal Prep Girls…”
As Pinkie rambled on, Roman casually reels his hand out of her grip only to find his arm still shaking. He clasps onto that arm with the other, keeping it from shaking. He turns toward the other girls, his expression asking for an explanation.
“Trust me, dude,” Rainbow rolled her eyes. “You get used to it… Eventually.”
Roman chuckled, shaking his head at the pink-skinned girl’s kooky nature.
“So, you girls need any help or something?” He asked. “I saw you unconscious a few minutes ago.”
Most of the girls turn to each other, trying to figure out what happened themselves. Rainbow Dash, meanwhile, brushed it off.
“Nah, we’re totally cool. We’re a lot tougher than we look.”
To make a point, she flexes an arm showing a bit of muscle. Roman laughs at her pose.
“No doubt,” He chuckled. “But still, what are you girls doing backstage? Unless you have backstage passes, you’re not supposed to be here.”
“Well you see, we just fell through a magical T.V. we were watching you on a moment ago,” Pinkie Pie smiled, rambling. “Next thing we know, we all went ‘WHOOSH!’ and ‘POP!’ here we are!”
Roman stared at her with a blank expression, showing no emotion. No shock, no confusion, nothing.
“You ‘sure’ you don’t need any help?” He asked, seriously.
“It’s completely true, Mr. Roman sir,” Twilight said.
“As crazy as it sounds, it’s completely one hundred percent true,” Sunset agreed.
Roman chuckled to himself, thinking someone’s pulling a joke behind his back. For the moment, he decides to go along with it.
“Alright, but let me ask you this: On this ‘Magic T.V.’ you were watching me on, do I beat the crap outta Corbin?”
“Yeah… Sorry buddy, we didn’t even get that far,” Rainbow chuckled, smirking. “But knowing how totally awesome you are, I’ll bet you send him packing!”
Roman nods with a smirk of his own, as they fist bump.
“Right on,” He responds. “I like your style kid; you remind me a lot of myself.”
Hearing that from her idol, Rainbow Dash blushed and beamed all at once. At that a moment, a stagehand approaches Roman, whispering in his ear before walking away.
“Listen girls, it’s been fun and all,” Roman replied. “But I’ve got a match coming up, and I gotta go right now.”
“That’s totally cool, bro,” Rainbow responds. “Just go out there and show that jobber who’s the man!”
Roman chuckled at the tom boy’s choice of words, as he walked toward the ramp. Just then, an idea seems to pop in his head as he turns back toward the girls.
“Hey, how would you like to have an awesome experience most fans only dream of?” Roman asked.
“And what would that be?” Sunset asked.
Roman reaches into his back pocket, pulling out several tickets, which he hands to each of them.
“How would you like to walk onstage with me?” He offered. “These tickets even grant you front row seats for my match.”
Rainbow quickly snatched the tickets, looking at them in astonishment.
“That would be TOTALLY AWESOME!!!” She stated, very loudly.
Once again, Rainbow and Roman fist bump, as he starts making his way to the ramp. Rainbow bounced with excitement, while the others seemed less than thrilled.
“What’s with you guys?” Rainbow asked them.
“You mean aside the fact we fell through a strange portal and end up backstage at a wrestling event in who knows where?” Sunset exaggerated. “Gee, I have no idea.”
“I know…” Pinkie nodded. “We forgot to ask what city we’re in.”
“This ain’t exactly the kinda thing tah be all excited ‘bout,” Applejack said.
“Oh, come on!” Rainbow insists. “This is the coolest thing to ever happen to us!”
“Rainbow, we should really be focused on getting back home,” Twilight argued. “If we’re going to sit around watching wrestling, I don’t feel safe watching it ‘here’.”
“Guys, just think about it, this is literally a once in a lifetime chance!” Rainbow retorts. “How often do we get asked to walk on stage with one of my heroes, to sit at ringside for his match? Couldn’t we at least stay to watch the match?”
The girls face each other and sigh. They knew once Rainbow sets her mind to something, there’s no way to change her mind. Then again, they really couldn’t blame her. If they ever did have a chance to do something they’ve always wanted to do, they wouldn’t be quick to go home either. Nodding their heads, they turn to Rainbow Dash with a smile.
“Alright Rainbow, you win,” Twilight said. “But once the match is over, we’re finding a way back home.”
Nevertheless, Rainbow Dash jumped with excitement, hugging her friends tightly in one big group hug. All her friends hug their giddy friend.
“Thank you, thank you, so much!” She thanked them. “You’re never gonna regret this.”
The girls quickly follow Roman Reigns up to the ramp. Just then, Twilight stops as if she remembered something and turns back toward her backpack that sat along the floor. Something stirs inside and Twilight zips the bag open, revealing a certain drowsy purple puppy rubbing his eyes.
“What time is it?” Spike asked, groggily.
Just then, as he squints his eyes and looks around, he feels something is off. Then he turns left to right at a rapid pace, all at once it suddenly dawns on him.
“Hey! This isn’t the house! Where are we? What happened? What country are we in?”
“Uh…” Twilight began, awkwardly. “You want the ‘long’ version or the ‘short’ version?”

‘The Truth Reigns’ bellows throughout the arena, the crowd roars with cheers. Roman Reigns himself walks from the backstage area and onto the ramp, closely followed by the girls. They look around in awe, absorbing everything from the arena. Greg Hamilton, the in-ring announcer, begins his introductions.
“The following contest is scheduled for one fall!”
“ONE FALL!!!” The crowd chants.
“Making his way to the ring, from Pensacola, Florida, weighing 265 pounds… Roman Reigns!”
The crowd cheers loudly, as Roman looks toward the massive audience. He cocks his fist like a gun, pounding it to the ground, and the pyro explodes around the stage. This startled the girls, but they quickly got over it.
“There he is, ladies and gentlemen, the big dog Roman Reigns!” Tom Philips commentated. “Tonight, he is on a mission to finally finish King Corbin once and for all!”
“That’s right Tom, Roman Reigns and King Corbin have been at each other’s throats for months,” Bryon Saxton added. “Hopefully tonight, we can finally see it culminate with this one final match.”
“Well, I for one can’t wait to see King Corbin put Roman Reigns in his place,” Corey Graves said. “Reigns has been a huge thorn in the King’s side for so long, and I believe tonight Corbin will finally put Roman away for good.”
“Looks like Roman Reigns is not alone tonight,” Byron observed.
“That’s right, it looks like Reigns brought a few friends to join him tonight,” Tom added.
“Good, that way they can see how weak Roman truly is when he’s forced to bow down to King Corbin tonight,” Corey finished.
Roman and the girls march down the ramp, Roman giving a few high fives to the crowd as they pass. Roman climbs the steel steps onto the ring apron, climbing onto the second turnbuckle. He looks over the crowd, raising both his arms in the air as the crowd cheers again. All the while, the girls were lead by a security guard behind the barricade, collecting their tickets as they sit at the front row. They watch as Roman stands at his corner waiting for his opponent to enter.
https://m.

The crowd viciously boos as ‘I Bring the Darkness’ echoes through the arena. From behind the screen, the ever arrogant, ever cocky, and ever cruel ‘King of the Ring’, King Corbin, emerges. Adorned in his custom crown, fur cloak, and scepter in one hand, the man reeks of arrogance.
“And his opponent, from Kansas City, weighing 285 pounds… King Corbin!” Hamilton announced.
“Come on Saxton, what are you waiting for?” Graves asked. “Get on your knees and pay your respects to the King!”
“Oh please!” Byron groaned.
“Well, King Corbin was looking very confident earlier when he said, and I quote, ‘If Roman Reigns wants to call himself the big dog, then tonight I’m going to beat him like one and make him kiss my foot’,” Tom said.
“Of course, the King is confident, Philips,” Graves bragged. “He has every right to be. Tonight, he’s finally going to make Roman Reigns bend the knee and pledge his undying loyalty to the King.”
As Corbin rounds the corner to enter the ring, he paused momentarily as he looks over toward the girls, the very same group accompanying Roman to the ring. He slowly walks toward the railing, looming over the group. Spike, hidden in Twilight’s backpack, whimpered softly as he bent farther.
“You’re all gonna watch me dismantle your buddy, Roman Reigns,” Corbin stated. “Then, you will all bow to me!”
“Now that was completely unnecessary for Corbin,” Byron frowned, looking on. “Trying to intimidate those poor girls like that.”
“Well that’s what Corbin does best,” Tom states. “He berates everybody he feels is below him, which practically accounts for ‘everyone’.”
“I think those girls need to see first-hand who they should really be cheering for in this match,” Corey said. “King Corbin is the King they should be respecting.”
Corbin steps between the middle ropes, into the ring, posing with his arms out as if he’s the greatest man to ever walk the planet. The audience continues to boo loudly, voicing their disdain for the arrogant King. Corbin removes his crown and robe, placing them aside along with his scepter. He and Roman stand in their respective corners, as the referee signals for the bell to get the match underway.
“Ring the bell!” The referee yells, pointing.
https://m.

“And here we go, matchup’s underway!” Philips declared.
Reigns and Corbin slowly approach each other, ready to strike, locking up with the collar-and-elbow tie up. Corbin ends up gaining the advantage, pulling Roman into a headlock and attempts to wear him down. Roman backs Corbin and himself into the ropes, throwing Corbin off toward the opposite side. As he cried back on the rebound, Roman catches him with a headlock takedown.
“And Roman takes down the King,” Bryon declares.
“Don’t count out the King,” Corey warns. “He’s always got a trick or two up his sleeve.”
Corbin gets to his feet, as Roman continues to apply the headlock. Eventually, Corbin throws Roman off him and backs into a corner. Roman gets back on the assault, however, delivering massive strikes to Corbin in the corner.
“Now Roman Reigns firing off those powerful strikes to Corbin’s face,” Philips observed.
“Referee, get Roman Reigns off our King!” Corey calls out.
The referee can back Roman off Corbin for a moment, but Roman goes right back on the offense. He Irish-whips Corbin toward the other corner and the King hits the turnbuckle hard. Corbin, groaning from the impact, stumbles away before Reigns hits with a massive strike to the chin. Corbin drops to the mat, rolling out of the ring.
“You see there’s a wise strategy by the King,” Corey praised. “Rolling out of harm’s way to recuperate.”
Roman reaches over the tope rope, grabbing ahold of Corbin by the head, only for Corbin to grab ahold of Roman and hangs him over the top rope. Roman staggers back, losing momentum, as Corbin slips into the ring and delivers strikes toward Roman. He backs Roman into the corner, kicking him down until he’s sitting along the mat.
“Now Corbin’s taking control of this match,” Saxton observed. “Stomping away at the big dog!”
“That’s right, the King’s going to work on Roman Reigns!” Corey bragged. “Won’t be long until we see Reigns humbled and humiliated.”
“We’ve seen Roman Reigns come back time and time again,” Tom argues. “I think we’ll see it again.”
Corbin placed his foot right onto Roman’s throat, pushing with all his might as he beings to choke him out. The referee starts the five count…
1… 2… 3… 4…
By four, Corbin finally lets go and backs up. It didn’t last long, as Corbin gets back to the kicks. After a moment or two, he backs up and gestures with his arms out, making the crowd boo in response.
“Now you see that is what a truly great competitor looks like.” Corey said.
“Would you please stop!” Tom argued.
“Shut up Philips! Let me enjoy the King doing what he does best.”
Corbin picks up Roman by his hair, positioning him for a suplex, which he hits perfectly. He gets in position for the pin, as the referee counts.
1…
Roman Reigns kicks out at one, as Corbin starts throwing fists. He picks Roman back up, hurtling him through the middle ropes where he lands on the floor, right in front of the girls.
“Come on, Roman!” Rainbow yelled.
“Ya’ll got this!” Applejack added.
“Looks like Roman’s getting encouragement from his fan club in the front row,” Saxton observed.
“If those girls knew what’s best for them, they’d sit down and keep quiet,” Corey grimaced. “They’re in the presence of royalty!”
Corbin steps through the ropes, lifts Roman and rams him into the barricade. He then turns toward the girls, pointing straight at them.
“This is what happens when you cross the King!” He shouts.
Little did he know, while taunting the girls, Roman gets back to his feet. As Corbin turns, he receives a huge uppercut to the chin. He staggers backward, as Roman grabs him by the back of the head, ramming him into the steel ring post. Rainbow and Applejack cheer, while the rest of their friends clap along. They couldn’t deny that this was entertaining to watch. Roman comes beside them, giving fist bumps to Applejack and Rainbow.
Corbin slips back into the ring, crawling over to the other side, leaning toward the bottom rope. Roman noticed and runs full speed around the ring before leaping toward Corbin with the Drive-By dropkick!
“Drive by!” Saxton shouts. “We’ve seen Roman Reigns hit that many times before.
“And King Corbin finds himself in a bit of trouble,” Tom analyzed.
“Will you two ignorant buffoons shut up?!” Corey groans. “The King is a resourceful man; he’ll figure a way out of this.”
The referee checks on Corbin in the ring, as climbs back inside. Just then, Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler come out of nowhere and jump Roman from behind.
“Hey! That’s Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode!” Tom points out.
“Come on, this is ridiculous!” Saxton complains. “These have no business out here!”
“It’s brilliant!” Graves praised. “I told you guys the King had a plan all along; that plan comes in the form of Roode and Ziggler!”
While Corbin kept the ref distracted, Roode and Ziggler double team on Roman outside the ring. They stomp him on the ground, before Roode lifts Reigns allowing Ziggler hits him with a super kick.
“Superkick by Ziggler and that could very well be the end of Roman Reigns,” Philips declared.
“Get ready to witness Roman Reigns being forced to bend the knee, Philips,” Graves states. “The King reigns supreme!”
Ziggler and Roode roll Roman back into the ring, completely unbeknownst to the referee. Corbin quickly goes for the pin.
1… 2…
But Roman kicks out again, much to the chagrin of King Corbin. Corbin argues with the referee about the count, the distraction allows Ziggler and Roode to hold Roman along the bottom rope, choking him out. Corbin shoves the ref aside, pulling Roman to the center of the ring and applies a headlock. Roman fades quickly, everyone watching him turn limp. Rainbow stands up from her chair, starting a slow clap getting the rest of the audience to join. Before long, the entire arena is clapping for their hero.
Roman could feel the energy from the crowd, willing him on as he struggles to his feet. Once back up, he delivers a few body shots to Corbin, the latter eventually loosens his hold. Reigns hurls Corbin off the ropes, hitting him with the Samoan Drop. Corbin writhes in pain, as Roman goes for the cover.
1… 2…
Corbin kicks out at two, Roman shaking his head. He climbs back onto his feet, slowly makes his way to the corner. He waits patiently as Corbin gets back onto his feet. Reigns cocks his first, driving it into the ground. As Corbin turns around, Roman charges at him ready to hit the Superman Punch, only to be countered into the Deep Six.
“Deep Six delivered with such precision by the King!” Graves declares.
Roman lays motionless in the ring, as Corbin hooks the leg for the pin.
1..
“Into the cover, could this be it?” Philips questions.
2…
Again, Roman kicks out at two. Corbin shouts with frustration, arguing with the referee to count faster. Corbin again pushes the referee out of the way, standing in wait for Roman to get up. Roman slowly gets on his feet, as Corbin spins him around to hit the End of Days. But Roman pushes him into the ropes, and as Corbin bounces back, Roman hits the Superman Punch.
“Superman Punch!” Saxton yells.
“That’s gotta be it for the King,” Philips adds.
“No, no, come on King!” Graves begs. “Get up!”
Roman backs into the corner, waiting as Corbin slowly staggers to his feet. Roman howls like a wild man, aiming to hit the Spear. But Ziggler jumps along the barricade, distracting the referee. This in turns distracts Reigns, as Roode sneaks Corbin his scepter.
“You see that?” Saxton points out. “Roode just handed the scepter to Corbin!”
“Once again, Corbin is doing what he does best,” Philips observed. “Bending the rules.”
“You call it bending the rules, I call it genius on the King’s part,” Corey states.
As the referee deals with Ziggler, Roman turns his attention to Corbin. Walking over to him, Corbin spun around quickly and nailed Reigns in the head with the scepter. Roman drops to the ground, completely out cold. Corbin passes the scepter back to Roode before the referee could see it. When the referee turns back around, Corbin gets set for the pinfall near the ropes.
Rainbow Dash, seeing enough of the cheating and interference, decided to take matters into her own hands. Rainbow stands from her seat, as Twilight turns around, realizing what she’s about to do.
“Rainbow, waaaaaaaaiiiiiiii….”
Mid-sentence, Rainbow Dash activates her geode as time seems to slow down around her. Rainbow quickly hops over the barricade as the ref slowly makes the count.
1…
Zooming passed the yellow-shirt guards, Rainbow is onto ringside making her way to the ring, zipping passed the King’s oblivious stooges.
2…
By the time the referee was inches from calling the three count, Rainbow rushed over, grabbed Roman’s leg, and positioned it on the bottom rope. As time catches up, the referee catches the rope break but not Rainbow Dash who quickly backed away. Corbin looks stunned, shocked that the count stopped.
“Did you see that?!” Saxton shouts. “Somehow Roman gets the rope break in the nick of time and one of his friends seems happy.”
“We’re going to need an instant replay,” Philips states, studying the monitors. “How did she move that fast?”
“Where is security?” Graves called out. “Get that crazed fan under control!”
Rather than get back to her seat, Rainbow starts cheering for Roman at ringside. She is so caught up in the excitement, she doesn’t notice Roode and Ziggler approaching from behind. When she turns around and noticed them, they were not happy. Rainbow was slightly intimidated, but she’s never one to back down from anyone. She throws her fists in a fighting stance, which made Roode and Ziggler laugh as they moved closer. They didn’t laugh long when Rainbow hurls a wicked right hand, knocking Ziggler back and throws a left toward Roode. She delivers a series of rapid strikes against Ziggler, too fast for the naked eye, when Roode rolls behind her and hooks her arms behind her back. He holds her in front of him, as Ziggler recovers and readied a fist. The other girls look on in horror, seeing what those two men were about to do to their friend even Spike peeks out to see.
“They’re going to hurt Rainbow Dash!” Spike calls out.
“Come on girls, we have to do something!” Twilight yelled.
“Get ‘em!” Applejack shouts.
Reacting fast, Rarity summons a shield which Ziggler hits, the man screaming while clenching his fist. The girls jump over the barricade toward the nefarious duo. Twilight uses her magic to free Rainbow Dash, whom Fluttershy leads to safety, as Applejack uses her own geode to buck Roode so hard he crashes into the barricade. As Ziggler is about to confront them, Pinkie Pie shows up from nowhere with a cupcake.
“You look a little flustered,” Pinkie smiles, adding sprinkles. “Have a cupcake.”
“Oh… Thanks,” Ziggler said, taking the cupcake.
BOOM!!!
Pinkie’s sprinkles, powered by her geode, makes the cupcake explode and knocks Ziggler head over heels. The man lands on his back, his face covered in soot, but otherwise nearly unharmed.
“Come on, this is outrageous!” Corey shouts. “Someone call security down here and get those girls under control!”
“You didn’t seem to mind when Roode and Ziggler started attacking Roman Reigns,” Saxton argued.
“Roode and Ziggler are under contract with WWE, those girls hopped the barricade, assaults two professional athletes, and that pink girl snuck a bomb in a cupcake! Call the police, have them all arrested, DO SOMETHING!!!”
The girls threw some overhand strikes toward Ziggler and Roode, causing them to stagger, even Rainbow rushes back to get part of the action. Corbin witnesses the chaos on the outside and slips under the bottom rope. He tries pulling the girls off the henchmen, reaching for the blue-skinned girl who started the chaos. Sunset grabs King Corbin’s arm, her eyes glow for a bit, as if witnessing a vision while Corbin tries to pull back.
While Corbin tries to turn the situation back to his favor, Roman Reigns gets back onto his feet and runs off the ropes. Rainbow quickly noticed, knowing what’s coming.
“Girls, get out of the way!” She shouted.
The girls jump out of the way, Sunset finally lets go of Corbin, as Roman soars through the air with a Diving Planca taking out Roode, Ziggler, and Corbin.
“And Roman flies through the air and takes out King Corbin and his henchmen!” Tom calls out.
“Talk about taking flight,” Saxton said, astounded.
“No, no, NO!!!” Graves shouts, frustrated.
Roman gets back up, roaring wildly as he picks Corbin back up, hurling him back into the ring. He rolls himself back in, as Corbin climbs back onto his feet. Reigns runs off both sets of ropes before finally planting his patent Spear. He rolls into the cover, as the referee counts.
1… 2… 3!!!
The crowd erupts in cheers again, as the bell rang and ‘The Truth Reigns’ plays.
“Here is your winner… ROMAN REIGNS!!!”
“Finally, after all these months, Roman Reigns has finally put away King Corbin for good!” Tom said.
“Once again, the big dog stands victorious in his yard!” Saxton added.
“This is a travesty of epic proportions!” Corey complained. “You talk about stacking the decks in Roman Reigns’ favor, his friends jump the barricade, and attack Roode and Ziggler. They had absolutely no business in this match; they should all be in prison!”
“Look at it anyway you want, Corey,” Saxton replies, smug. “The fact of the matter is Roman Reigns is victorious here tonight.”
Roman gets back onto his feet, following his victory over Corbin, as the girls get into the ring clapping for his victory. Rainbow Dash walks right up to Roman, holding his hand in the air victoriously.
“Now that’s why you are the best!” She praised.
When Roman turned to her, he did not look happy. Rainbow slowly lets go, as Reigns hovers over her, towering over the stunned girl.
“I can’t believe you would jump over the barricade and risk getting yourself hurt when I had this match under control.”
“Yeah, but… I-I-I was just… I just thought…”
The girls stopped clapping, looking toward the ground in shame, while Rainbow Dash was at a loss for words. True, what Roman said was true, and they almost gotten hurt. After a moment, Roman reaches toward Rainbow Dash, who closed her eyes expecting the worse. Just then, she felt hand lifted high and opens her eyes. She looks up to see him smiling, while holding her arm in midair.
“Not bad though, kid.”
Rainbow smiled again, as the crowd cheers not only for Roman Reigns tonight, but for Rainbow and her friends. Roman looked down toward Corbin, the King laid out on the ground. He then turns to the top turnbuckle before looking toward Rainbow Dash, with a mischievous smile.
“What else do you know how to do?” He asked.
Rainbow caught onto what he implied, walking into the corner and climbs the top rope. The crowd cheers as she stands on the top rope, absorbing the applause as the girls shake their heads and Spike, from their seats, slapping his hoof over his face. Rainbow plays with the crowd, before lifting her arms in the air ala the late Randy Savage, dives off from the top rope, and lands a massive Elbow Drop on Corbin’s chest. The King gasps from the impact, his eyes widen, before he falls back unconscious.
“And Roman’s friend lands an amazing Elbow Drop on the King!” Philips shouts.
“Now that’s what I call an amazing WWE moment to remember!” Saxton replies.
“What is she thinking?!” Corey rants. “Are these girls insane?! You can’t do that to the King! Somebody call my lawyer!”
Her friends were amazed that she was able to pull that off, but after a moment, they all cheer and give Dash a big group hug. Roman holds the ropes open for the girls to exit, before leaving the ring himself. Twilight grabs her back, as Spike peeks his head back down to stay hidden, as they walk back up the ramp. They give high fives to the crowd as they worked their way to the stage. They turn back toward the crowd, as Roman lifts his arms into the air victoriously. Rainbow and the rest of the girls couldn’t help but follow suit before they head backstage.
Truly this was a moment that would live in infamy.
