Moon in the Waters
A Lunar Surprise
Previous ChapterPyro opened her door, and yawned loudly. Her bang fell over her left eye. She wasn't bothered by it, she was partially blind in that eye anyway. She passed a glass mosaic of herself she made when she was a filly. She smiled at the memory of making it. She trotted a bit, and saw her guitar case. Oh, her guitar. Her hooves made it difficult to play, but it was fun. Pyro got to her kitchen a la memory lane, and walked over to her fridge only to find it opened. "Wha-?" She heard a munching sound and turned around slowly. Luna was crashed out on her couch, she has just open a packet of oreos and ate one. Pyro slammed her hoof into her face. "That's quite enough, Luna." The night princess had a gallon of milk almost to her lips before freezing. "Where are my manners... does thou want one?"
"Luna, that is my food, that I paid for with my money. Of course I want it." Pyro groaned.
"But I was starving. They expect princesses to stay trim, but I want sweet things."
Pyro pitied the mare in front of her, and poured her a glass of milk and gave her another oreo. They both sat down in silence until Pyro spoke her thoughts.
"Why are you here?"
Luna looked at her, wiped her mouth, and replied. "Tia wants me to go on a tour of the world to learn about modern societites. She said I could take somepony, and I felt like I needed to take thou."
Pyro nodded. "Th-thank you. I appreciate your thought, really."
"Would thou want to come?"
"Of course!"
"It is settled then. We leave in three days. Good night, Pyro." Luna said, and flew out the window. Pyro laughed, and put her things away.
