A Boy's Tears 3: New Beginnings
Mane-iac On The Trail
Previous ChapterNext ChapterPoor Rarity was still crying about how her hair had been forcibly died green by the evil and crazed Mane-iac, and she put a large bag over her face to cover her so-called shame. While hiding herself under a wagon, the rest of her cronies were still fighting Mane-iac and stopping her from causing anymore chaos and destruction throughout Ponyville. Without Rarity using her unicorn magic to help them out. Nevertheless, the rest of the elements were putting up a good fight with the unhinged mare at least. And Fluttershy was being uncharacteristically heroic and brave than she would normally be, going as far as to punch the Mane-iac in the face three times, making her nose bleed from the impact of the blows.
Rainbow Dash herself had the honor to try and zap her with a random storm cloud, and it did incapacitate the crazy villain for a moment, but the Mane-iac retaliated by using one of her tendrils to swat her into the window of a nearby house with the sound of glass shattering. “Stupid little insect!” Mane-iac bellowed. “Do you really think that some lightning will kill me? Ha! Do not make me laugh!”
Being a random and bold one, Pinkie Pie popped out of nowhere, right in front of the Mane-iac, invading her personal space, prompting the crazy mare to try and squeeze the life out of her, only for Pinkie to escape and pop out of many random laces at the same time. “Over here!” Pinkie sang. “Nope! Over here!” She popped out of the ground with a rock over her head. Mane-iac was growing more and more frustrated and tried so hard to catch the tricky pink earth pony, then Pinkie appeared from a bush, only do dodge at the last second from another swipe from the Mane-iac.
“Hold still, will you?!” Mane-iac shouted in frustration. “I want to break you in half and make your spine crunch, but I can’t do it if you do not hold still!”
"Hmmm, no, I don't want to be torn apart or skinned alive, but thanks for the offer." Pinkie naively said as she was ducking more and more into random object to not get hit by the Mane-iac's tendrils, making the unhinged mare even more frustrated and anger at the fact that Pinkie is the most slippery kind of prey she had ever tried to encounter.
Applejack used her signature lasso to hold Mane-iac's tail together in some kind of knot and tried to throw her down many times like a hammer. Despite how painful it looked for the villain, the Mane-iac was too smart and formed a large hand with some of her mane tendrils, and grabbed Applejack with it. "Nice try, you worm." she sneered. "But it will take a lot more than mere rope to slow me down! Hahahaha!"
The next thing Mane-iac did was try to squeeze the life out of Applejack like a python or an anaconda suffocating its prey so it wouldn't have trouble eating it whole.
"She's going to eat Applejack!" Pinkie shouted in horror.
"What?" said Mane-iac. "No, don't be stupid. I may be evil but i'm not that evil. Besides, that sounds a little too barbaric for my taste. Then she resumed trying to squeeze Applejack to death. But then, thanks to Twilight's quick thinking, she used some kind of blinding flash with her horn to temporarily blind Mane-iac and let go of Applejack.
Now that she was stunned and blind by the ray of light, it gave Fluttershy the perfect opportunity to charge at Mane-iac and give her some more punches and with the thought of protecting her friends and her adopted human child. Yes, it was really unlike her to go berserk. Yet again, it's always the nice ones that can be the most dangerous kind of people if one isn't careful enough to behold that certain event.
Mane-iac herself was feeling scared and was realizing that she had no other options, but to run. "Grr, these may not be the real Power Ponies," she thought to herself, "But they really know how to fight a good fight. I have to get out of here and find Humdrum!" an evil and devious idea struck her head and put out a smoke bomb from behind her, throwing it on the ground, and making everyone around her cough and wheeze from the smoke. Laughing in triumph, Mane-iac continued searching for Spike into the woods, using four tendrils as legs to help her move faster than she would normally move at so she can be able to shake off the heroes from her tail.
In the woods, Colin and Spike were still running to Fluttershy’s cottage for refuge from the Mane-iac who was already hot on her heels (or tendrils in her case). The cottage was the only possible place of solace for these two boys. “Where do we hide?l spike panted, trying to catch his breath.
“Uhhh, under my mom’s bed!” Colin realized. “We’re small enough to fit under it.”
“Ooh, good thinking Colin.”
Rushing up to Fluttershy’s bedroom, they both hid under her mattress as a good hiding place.
“I hope she won’t find us here.” Spike said
“Mom would hide under here for Nightmare Night.”
“Why am I not surprised?” The baby dragon rolled his eyes. “But I believe you if you say no one can find us under the bed.” Silent and quiet for a few minutes, they were as still as statues and didn’t even move a finger out of the bed. “If she does find this place, she might tear the place apart just to find us.”
“As long as we keep quiet and not move, we’ll be fine.” Said the human boy. “And… maybe she’ll forget the search about us?” He had hopeful thinking.
“I hate to say it but the Mane-iac is relentless in her goals and she’ll never stop until she finds us.”
“So, what does she want with us, Spike?”
“Well Colin, I might not be an expert but I think it has to do with her taking revenge on me and my friends for defeating her before.”
