A Boy's Tears 3: New Beginnings
Captured Once Again
Previous ChapterNext ChapterHiding under the bed, Collin and Spike were scared witless, worried that the Mane-iac will come find them here. Spike was the one most scared for obvious reasons, but maybe the animal friends of Fluttershy could help stop this crazy, unhinged mare. “Come on out, little ones!” Mane-iac. “I know you are in here! Just be two good little boys and show yourselves.”
Not about to let the two kids be taken by the crazy mare, Harry the Bear, the strongest critter in this whole cottage, tackled the villain with his brute strength and to Mane-iac, Harry was like a large, furry bag that weighed as much as a large couch. The brown bear was trying so hard to keep the Mane-iac from causing anymore damage, but the mare used some of her Tendrils to pick up Harry by coiling him up like a boa constrictor, and tossed him outside the cottage.
“Hmph, annoying.” Mane-iac said. Angry that Harry had been tossed aside like that, the other animal critters decide to fight her too and the Mane-iac was feeling a little overwhelmed at what she was experiencing. Large or small, the animals were going all-out at the crazy villain, and it wasn’t even time for dinner yet. Despite combining all of their strength to keep her at bay, the Mane-iac overpowered them with her tendrils both from her mane and her tail. “I’ve had enough of this!” She shouted. “How hard can it be to find two little kids?” Going upstairs, she flipped Fluttershy’s nightstand to find the boys.
knowing that she will look under the bed next, Collin and Spike looked at one another with grim looks on their faces about what was going to happen next. As expected, Mane-iac pulled the Ned up with four tendrils and smiled in wicked delight, and threw it out of Fluttershy’s bedroom window.
“Peek-a-boo! I found you!” The villain sang in crazed delight before laughing. “Now come to mama!” She then grabbed the two boys with two large tendrils. “You’re mine now, young ones! You’re coming with me!”
As she was about to walked out, Fluttershy and her friends popped through the front door to stop her. “Let go of my boy!” Fluttershy shouted demandingly. This made the Mane-iac laugh in response.
“What can you do to stop me, you foolish girl?”
“Didn’t you see how tough she is in the town before, lady?” Asked Rainbow. "She can whoop your crazy butt instantly."
Mane-iac let out another cackle. "I like your bravado. Really, i do. But i know you are all afraid deep down."
"I'm not afraid of anything, lady!" the blue pegasus insisted.
"Nothing but me!." Mane-iac sung. At last, angry enough, Rainbow Dash charged at Mane-iac (on foot this time since the crazy mare clipped one of her wings), and of course, like before, the Mane-iac swatted Rainbow away into the Fluttershy's fireplace this time, leaving her covered in soot.
At last, getting angry again, the other mares launched themselves onto the Mane-iac a second time. This time; they were fighting her more fierce than ever, and Fluttershy was the one who was hitting her the hardest since she wanted the Mane-iac nowhere near her own adopted human son. If there was anything scarier than many things, it would be a mother’s fierce love and devotion for her own child.
Despite their best efforts how, the wrest of them were overpowered by the Mane-iac with her mutagenic mane and tail, and were all knocked out cold.
“Now that these pests are dealt with,” the crazy mare said to herself, she looked at where the two boys were hiding before, but she noticed that they were gone, and soon found them running out the front door very sneaky-like way.
Smiling wickedly, Mane-iac used two tendrils to coil them up again. “Ah ah ah!” She sang. “Trying to escape? I don’t think so.” I have very special plans for you boys.”
The unhinged mare walked outside the door with the two boys still in her clutches and laughed maniacally in triumph.
When she got into the forest nearby, she used the comic book to teleport herself back to Maretropolis. Back in the cottage, waking up and realizing what just happened, Fluttershy looked upstairs in a panic and was searching for her adopted son, even lifting the couch and other furniture as she was searching. But Collin was nowhere to be seen.
“Collin! Spike! Where are you?!” The yellow Pegasus called out as she was fruitlessly searching for both kids in and around her humble home. Many of her animal friends, including Harry, got back on their feet looking guilty. "Oh, my critter friends!" she noticed. "Did she hurt you?" They all replied to her in many different animal sounds. "Good." she sighed in relief. "Just a couple of bruises. But what about Collin and Spike?"
"Fluttershy, calm down." Twilight tried to help her friend.
"How can i calm down when my baby and our friend have been taken by the Mane-iac!?" Fluttershy began hyperventilating into a brown paper bag in a crazed manner. "I lost Collin again, and it's all my fault!"
"It was not your fault, Darling." Rarity reassured her. "That dreadful mare caught us all by surprise. We all didn't see it coming."
"She's right, Sugarcube." Applejack added. "We'll find them. I know we will."
"Can't we just get back into Maretropolis like before?" asked Fluttershy
"Last time i remembered," Twilight began brainstorming, "That comic book was at Celestia and Luna's old castle and Spike was the one that opened it up by reading those hidden words at the last page. So maybe that comic book is still at the castle."
Without warning, the Mane Six all hurried over to the ruined castle and found the reading room where the comic was last seen, but when they got into the room, they saw that the book wasn't on that old podium at all. "It's gone!" they all exclaimed in unison.
"This is just perfect. Somepony took it!" Rarity said.
"How are we going to save them now?!" Pinkie exclaimed.
Pondering on how to save the boys, Twilight had a brainstorm. "Wait." she said, "I have an idea. Follow me!"
