Prologue

March 10, 2565, 13:35 hours

On board the UNSC Arrow Of Time

Ranks and Name: MOS18 series y/n

You were walking down a hallway of the Epoch-class heavy carrier, Arrow of Time. You've always liked it being huge, such a large ship for such a small crew. It may be one of the biggest ships in the UNSC, but it was still smaller than the old Covenant's CAS-class assault carrier. You were on your way to the armory to get your equipment, then over to mission briefing. You grabbed your gear and equipped it. Being a sniper, you used different gear than others. You had one of the strongest designed rifles used by the UNSC. You finished strapping on your armor and headed to briefing.

Like always, you showed up last. You've always hated briefing. It was boring because you liked to figure things out yourself. "Glad to see you show up y/n," stated Sargent Jackson in a very sarcastic tone. "Now let's get this show on the road," he said with a sigh. You knew he hated briefings as well. "As you all know, a strong Insurrectionist foothold is near the Pleiades sector," Jackson said as a map of the planet showed up. "Our sources say that they have massive AA guns, so just flying in is not an option. Due to this we will be taking a riskier maneuver" You looked over at the pilot of the pelican you are taking. Even though he had a helmet on, you could tell he was afraid. The Sargent started to speak again. "The pelican will leave the hangar while we are in slipspace so that they cannot detect you until you are close to the ground and safe from the AA guns." Now you feel bad for the pilot. That sounded hard to pull off. "Now for your objective," the Sargent said. " You all will help infiltrate the base and get y/n a good shot at the leader. Do you understand?"

"Sir yes sir" all of you said simultaneously.

"Good," he said "pelican leaves at 01:13 hours." Great. Another night mission. You felt bad for your team. Their sleep cycles get messed up. Yours doesn't. It was in your job description, in the very fine print at the bottom of the page.

March 11, 2565, 01:13 hours

On board the UNSC Arrow Of Time

As you headed to the hangar bay, you thought of all the things that could go wrong. It made you nervous at the thought that you could be ripped to shreds by the slipspace stream. Then you told yourself that you survived the flood, you can survive this.You and your squad boarded the pelican and took off. As you left the ship it felt a little shaky. You thought it was normal, giving that it was such a risky maneuver. Then you heard your comms go off.

"Pelican A34-229, abort the mission, we are hitting a slipspace rupture and it is too dangerous for you to sta-" The comms where cut off by the noise of a gaping hole in the side of the pelican. You went to grab the sturdiest thing possible and held on for dear life. You saw your teammates who didn't grab the best thing fly out the hole. After what had felt like holding on for days, you finally hit the ground of a planet, and you were out cold.

March 15, 2565, 14:55 hours

Unknown planet

After four and a half days, you woke up. "Am I dead?" You thought to yourself. But then you realized everything hurts too much to be dead. Your vision was blurry and your ears where ringing. You heard two unfamiliar voices, so you attempted to reach for your combat knife, but you soon discovered you couldn't move at all. As the voices grew louder, you thought "this is it. This is how I die, injured and helpless." But when they got into view, you noticed something was off. "Why the hell do these people look like horses. Am I fucking seeing things?" You thought to yourself.

One of the weird horse people saw you and said, "over here, I found a survivor." That made you confused. Why would they help you, After all, to them, you were just an alien.

One of the soldiers, you assumed that because they wore armor, walked by you and said, "you are going to be OK, my strange friend." And when they went to pick you up, you were out again.

It's a Whole New World

March 17, 2565, 12:25 hours

Unknown planet

After three days of being unconscious, you woke up again. This time you could move, so you turned your head to see the room you were in. You were in a hospital room, that is for sure, but it was missing most standard equipment found in a hospital, like a heart rate monitor. That probably meant the dream about the horse people was true. You heard four female voices talking to each other.

One of them finally notice you and said "um, I think he is awake now." All four of them turned their heads to look at you. The where all horse people, no doubt about it, but they had the horn of a unicorn and the wings of a Pegasus. One of them, the first one to speak, had a white coat (or whatever is called for horses, you don't really know at this point) and had a blue, green, and pink hair and tail. One of the less tall ones had a lightish-red coat (you watch too much Red vs Blue in your free time), the smallest one had a purple coat and then there was the last one. Just looking at here would have taken your breath away, but you were pretty sure your lungs where not working properly. She had a navy-blue coat and lighter blue hair that just seem to float in the cosmos. She was beautiful, no denying that, but you had more important matters than getting girls, and that was figuring out where in the goddamn galaxy you are. Then you noticed something very strange about the girls. They all had tattoos on their flanks, in almost the same spot.

Before you could ask about it, or anything really, the largest one said "Hello, I am Princess Celestia, ruler of the sun. These are my fellow princesses Twilight, Cadence, and" she pointed the beautiful girl "my sister Luna." Luna. What a pretty name for a pretty girl. You told yourself to snap out if it and focus at the objective that wasn't there. Celestia continued talking. "We would like to welcome you to the world of Equestria."

"So that is what this place is called" You managed to say before the one named Twilight asked a million and one questions in five seconds, which all of them you ignored. After Cadence got her to calm down, she asked what your name was. Because you were on a foreign planet, you gave them your military name instead. "I am MOS18 series y/n," you said.

"So that means you're a robot?" Twilight asked.

"No, it just means I'm a specOps sniper," you replied. After that, Luna asked a question. Her voice was as beautiful as she was, and it made your heart jump.

"Where did you come from?" She asked.

You gladly replied with that you were from Earth, which is about 300Ly (light years) from here. But you also told here that the nearest human colony was only 50Ly away. Then she asked how you got here, and you replied with

"I have no clue. I was sent on a mission to kill a rebel leader, but an accident happened. Judging by the way you are asking me questions, none of my teammates made landfall."

"Oh, I'm sorry about that your friends dying," Luna said, trying to be nice.

"It's fine," You replied. "I didn't know any of them anyway. But enough about me, I would like to ask a few questions of my own."

"Ask away," Celestia replied.

"First, how long was I out for?" You asked, trying to figure out your health condition.

"About six days," Twilight replied.

"Second," you continued, "where is my stuff?"

"In that bin over there," Luna replied, almost too fast, probably because she took it off of you. The thought of that made you hard, but you managed to control yourself.

"Now for the last question," you said. "Not to be rude or anything, but what is with you all being horses? And, why do you all have tattoos on your flank?"

Twilight responded with "In this world, there are four types of ponies, earth ponies, who control the land and are strong, pegasi, who can fly and control the weather, unicorns, who are telepathic, and Alicorns, who is what we are, have attributes of all three, and are only princesses. And these things you keep calling tattoos are cutie marks, which you get when you discover your special talent."

"Thank you" you said to them, and they left as you attempted to fall asleep.

March 17, 2565, 22:25 hours

Canterlot Castle, Equestria

It was the middle of the night. You've been trying to sleep all day, but you just couldn't. So, you got up and went to explore the hospital. Apparently, it was not a hospital, but instead a castle. As you walk around, admiring the architecture of the castle, you heard Luna's voice ask you "y/n? what are you doing out so late?"

"I could ask you the same thing," you replied. "But I can't seem to get any sleep, so I went exploring. Also, I like it out at night. It's quiet and peaceful out. And being a sniper, half my job takes place in the middle of the night, how about you?"

"Well, because I am the princess of the night, it is my duty to stay out and watch over Equestria during the night," she responded. "Also, I think it's cool that you like the night."

"Really?" You said, happy to have said the right thing to make her happy.

"Yeah," she said with a sigh. "I know that ponies like me, but I still don't think they appreciate the night. I had an incident where I got jealous of my sister for getting all the fame, and an entity called Nightmare took advantage of that, corrupted me, and manipulated me to do bad things."

"That sounds horrible," you said while feeling bad for her.

"It was my fault for being jealous anyways," Luna said. "Celestia also banished me to the moon for a thousand years before I could do any real damage."

One thousand years? That did not seem possible.

"Not to be rude or anything, but how old are you?" You asked.

"About four thousand and five years old," She said.

"Holy Shit," you thought to yourself. For being four thousand years old, she is hot.

"How Is that possible?" You asked.

She said "Alicorns are immortal and can sustain a lot most physical damage. I think the only way to kill an Alicorn is through decapitation or another Alicorn killing them."

For almost the rest of the night, you two walked around the castle, talking about all sorts of things. She talked about what things she liked the most and least. You told her some stuff about your own personal life like where you were from, that you when to a military academy on Earth's moon, which also was coincidentally also named Luna. After five hours of talking, you headed back to your hospital room, even though you did not need it anymore, and you felt like this was the start of a beautiful relationship.

Learning Around

March 17, 2565, 09:27 hours

Canterlot Castle, Equestria

In the morning, you asked Celestia if you could have a normal room, which she gladly gave to you. Once situated in the new room, you checked you gear that Luna recovered from you. You disassembled your rifle, saw that all the parts where fine, then you reassembled it. After that you checked your armor. Everything was working and it was not too damaged. But it could be better. Then you checked for ammo and your communication chip (basically a phone but in the future). Neither where there. You were about to ask to go to the downed pelican to retrieve them, but you wanted to gain the princesses trust more. Not that they had a reason that they should not trust you. It is not like you where an ONI spy. So, you went and asked Twilight if she had any history books so you could have some basic knowledge of this place. You made sure to specify that they were the simple ones not the this-famous-dude-breathed-every-2.5-milliseconds kind of history book. After reading the books you decided to do a workout. Hell, you have not done one for the past eight days. You did the simple things that you do every morning, like 1000 sit ups, 1000 squats, 1000 burpees, and 1000 pushups. Then you heard a knock on the door. "Come in," you said. When the door was open you clearly saw it was Luna.

"I thought you could use some company," she said. "You haven't come out of the room for almost the whole day. Is everything alright?" You were glad to see she was concerned about how you are doing. That showed that she cared about you.

"I haven't left my room because I was reading the books Twilight gave me. Also, I was working out," you told her. "And some company would be nice."

For the next hour you would continue you workout routine while she asked questions about why you were doing that and how it helped you. After a while you decided to confess your feelings to her. "Hey Luna," you said.

"yes," she said in response.

"There is something I want to tell you," you started. "Ever since I got her I thoug-"

Your sentence was cut off by a soldier bursting through the door. "Princess Luna!" he said, exhausted. " There is a Chupacabra attacking Ponyville, and Princess Twilight needs your help."

Damn it. You were so close. Now you just had to wait till later.

Luna said, "come on y/n, we have an issue to resolve." You went to grab your sniper rifle and armor. Even though you did not have any extra, there still was five bullets in the clip. But you knew only one would do the job.

When you and Luna where going to Ponyville you asked her "Where is this place anyway?" She responded with

"It is by that downed capsule-thing you where in."

"Is there any way we could stop by it on the way back, to get my other stuff," You asked ever so nicely (you hoped at least).

"Of course, y/n," she said in that beautiful voice of hers.

March 17, 2565, 15:27 hours

Ponyville, Equestria

When you arrived in Ponyville, you saw the chupa-thingy (you really needed to watch less Red vs Blue). Luna walked over to Twilight, who was recently thrown into a building.

"Twilight, are you OK?" Luna asked her.

"Yep," Twilight responded slowly getting up.

"Do you all care if I kill that son of a bitch, or do you want it alive?" You asked, while pointing at the Chupacabra.

"Yes y/n, you can kill the Chupacabra," Twilight answered. You climbed up on a building and pulled out your rifle. You zoomed in to try to find its eyes to shoot. From day one the UNSC have been teaching you to shoot there because the eyes are a gap to the brain that is not protected by the skull. You lined up your cross hairs and pulled the trigger. A loud bang came from your rifle, and the monster fell to the floor blood pouring from its eyes. As you got down from the building, Twilight and her friends where staring at you.

The one with rainbow hair began to speak. "That was AWESOME!!!!" She yelled. "How did you do that?"

"It wasn't me," you began to reply. "The rifle did all the work. I just pulled the trigger."

Twilight began introducing her friends. "This is Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, and Pinkie Pie." They all said hello when you waved at them, except for Fluttershy, who looked like she wanted to hide under a desk.

You said, "Well it was nice meeting you all, but I have to get going." After saying goodbye to them you and Luna went to the crashed pelican.

"Well, this is it," she said, and you began looking through the crash site. You found five crates of 100 sniper bullets, three health packs, twelve canisters of Bio Foam, twenty syringes of adrenaline, and your communication chip. You're lucky the Princesses had a private train because it would be awkward to carry all that stuff on to a public one. When you got back, you put the stuff you found away and went to bed, even though it was the afternoon.

March 17, 2565, 23:17 hours

Canterlot Castle, Equestria

After sleeping for a few hours, you finally got up. You went wandering around the castle, looking for Luna. You found her in the kitchen, making coffee. "Do you want some coffee y/n?" She offered.

"No thank you," you responded. "I don't drink caffeinated drinks."

"Oh, OK," she said. "What were you trying to say earlier, before the guard came in?" Your heart started racing. You tried to muster all the strength in you to tell her.

"Well," you started. "Ever since I got here, well I mean woke up here." You tried to continue to talk. You have not stammered yet, which is not a bad thing. "When I looked around in the hospital room, when I saw you I though you where beautiful. Then when I got to know you a little bit, I saw that your personality is beautiful as well. What I'm trying to say here is that I love you Luna." You expected a rejection, her to laugh in your face, her to say you were just friends or something. After all, you've only been here for a few days. But what she did next caught you off guard. She leaned over and kissed you full on the lips. Of course, you immediately started to kiss her back. After what felt like hours of kissing (you weren't complaining), she leaned back. "So, this means you love me back?" You asked.

"Of course, y/n!" She said happily. "I've felt the same way about you when you got here as well." Tonight, was the best night of your life. You could not change it for anything else.

"So, does this mean we are dating?" She asked.

"Fuck yeah," you responded.

For the rest of night, you and Luna snuggled on one of the couches.

"y/n, I have something to tell you, and It's one of my closely guarded secret," she informed you.

"I will not tell a single soul without your permission," you promised.

"OK, here it goes," she stared "When I got corrupted by Nightmare, it traumatized me, not emotionally but more like a physical trauma."

"Like when you get hit with concussive forces?" You asked, looking for clarification.

"Yes," she continued. "It did something to me I had no idea it could do. Apparently, it gave me a really bad case of PTSD. You looked at her. You knew what that meant. People in the military get it all the time. "You have a split personality?" You asked.

"Yes," Luna responded. "But it's not like a usual case. It's like there is two people inside my head. When the other takes control, I cannot do anything to stop it." You were very concerned about her now.

"How would we know that the other personality is in control?" You asked.

"The other personality is a fragment of nightmare moon, so I would be acting like her. The only real way to understand is to see it, and to show you, you must be asleep," she said. You got up

"Then I guess I will be going to bed."

March 18, 2565, unknown hours

The Astral Plane

You were having the weirdest dream. You wanted to leave, but you had to stay and wait for Luna. Then you saw a rupture in the wall, yes, the fourth wall of your dream. Then Luna came out of It. "Hello y/n," she greeted you.

"Hey Luna," you said in response. "Can we get going now, this dream Is driving me crazy."

"Of course," she said. "Hold on." Then you had the weirdest feeling. It felt like you were being stretched out, but without the pain. Then you were in Luna's head. You looked around to find her, but then you saw two figures in the distance. When you could make out the details of who they were, you were surprised.

You walked up to them. "So, when you said two people in your head, you weren't fucking kidding," you said.

The figure that looked like Nightmare Moon asked Luna "Who is this? He looks pretty cute." She walked over to you and started to examine you.

"Nightmare Moon, that is our boyfriend," Luna informed her.

"My, you made an excellent decision this time around." Nightmare Moon said in somewhat of a flirty voice. "So, when are you going to let me out? I'm kind of sick of this place and I haven't seen the real world in a while. And there are so many things I could do with him." You had no idea to take that as sexual or not.

"You have to gain my trust first that you will listen to me and come back no matter what happens out there," Luna informed her.

"Oh please," her other personality began. "I would do anything to get out of this dump."

Luna turned her attention to you and said, "Well y/n It's almost dawn and you should get up."

"Nah, I'll stay a little longer," you said. "Plus, I have an idea on what to do here."

A Walk In The Woods

March 18, 2565, 09:56 hours

Canterlot Castle, Equestria

You woke up later than usual, and to a wet dream, but that didn't surprise you at all, especially what your idea was. You headed over to the kitchen part of the castle to look for something to eat. You couldn't find any meat because apparently the Equestrians are vegetarians (well no shit, they are just human horses). You settled for a bagel, and after eating it, you decided to go hunting. You made yourself promise not to kill anything sentient because that was messed up. After walking for a few hours, you ended up in a place called the Everfree Forest. It was feared by the Equestrians because the climate and habitat are uncontrollable. For you, that means it's just a normal forest. Earlier before you left the castle Celestia and Luna had to leave to Ponyville to handle some business. After walking for thirty minutes, you heard a growl. You identified it as a wolf. You armed your rifle and went to find it. Little did you know these "Wolves" where the reason Celestia and Luna had to go. When you saw the wolf, you got extremely pissed off.

"Why the fuck are they made of wood?!? How am I supposed to eat that?!?" You said to yourself. But the wooden wolf heard your rage and pounced on you. While it was midair you pulled the trigger on your rifle. Thanks to the silencer on it, the rifle only made a small sound, as the wolf fell to pieces. Then, out of nowhere, another wolf pounced on you and pinned you down. You knew that if you didn't move fast, the wolf's pack-mates would come and finish you off. In one swift motion you drew your combat knife and decapitated the wolf. Then you turned around and shot the next wolf that was coming. After killing three more wolves, you gave up on using your sniper rifle, which was not designed for CQC. You did a back-flip on to another wolf and stabbed it with your knife. Then you jumped from dead wolf to live one, killing it, then repeating the process. After killing about thirty in total, you stepped back to see all the dead bodies, while sheathing your knife. Suddenly, the remains of the wolves started to glow, and they came together to make a huge alpha wolf. While it was roaring, you reached for your belt, grabbed a frag grenade, pulled the pin, then tossed it into its mouth. Withing three seconds you jumped to the floor as the wolf exploded into a million splinters.
As you were standing up, you heard Celestia's voice saying, "the Timberwolves went that way!" When Celestia, Luna, and Twilight came into sight, they were surprised to see you.

"y/n?" Luna said. "I thought you were back at the castle."

"I was, but I left to go hunting for food," you said.

"We did come down here to deal with the Timberwolves," Celestia said. "But it looks like you resolved that issue."

As you all where on the train back to Canterlot (except for Twilight), Celestia asked "Why where you hunting, we have food at the castle?"

You responded with "that is because Humans are omnivores. We are able to eat vegetables, but we need meat as well or our bodies won't be as strong."

"That makes sense," Luna said. When you got back to the castle, Celestia offered to see if see could find anything that is good for consumption by you, and you and Luna started to plan on how to tell everyone you were in a relationship.

March 18, 2565, 11:23 hours

Canterlot Castle, Equestria

You and Luna where hanging out in your room. "So, how do you think we should tell everyone?" Luna asked.

"Well," you said, as your extremely logical mind went to work. "I think we should wait until tomorrow, when we have to go to that meeting in the Crystal Empire. And I just want only our friends to know. I don't want to attract the attention of the press."

"Of course," she said. "That sounds like a good idea."

...

You went to the castle's huge library, knowing that it is a quiet place. When you got there, you pulled out the malfunctioning communication chip and a few metal tools and got to work. It was hard to get it to work, and after two hours of nonstop working, you only got it to turn on. None of the functions worked. You were getting frustrated. If only there was a repair shop. They could have fixed it in thirty minutes. You heard the door open, and saw Celestia and her assistant, who helped them stay on schedule.

She noticed you and walked over. "What are you doing?" She asked.

"I am trying to get this stupid piece of shit to work, but it only will turn on." You said as you showed her.

"What if the device isn't the stupid one, but it's you because you're not taking the time to calm down?" She said. Her point was valid. So, for the next hour you calmed down and managed to get it to work.

"Fuck yeah!" You exclaimed quietly because you were in a library. Celestia walked over and looked at it. You pressed the power button and it turned it on. Then you clicked on the photos and saw that all your photos, memes, and videos where not erased during the process.

"Wow, that's cool," Celestia said. "We need to show that to Luna." You walked over to her room and knocked on her door. You knew she was asleep. Because she is mostly nocturnal, being the princess of night and all, she usually sleeps from 10:00 hours to 15:00 hours. After three minutes of waiting, she groggily opens the door.

"What do you two want?" She asked, obviously pissed because you woke her up.

"y/n has something to show you," Celestia said. You pulled out the chip, extended it to its full length, and turned it on.

"Wow, that actually got it to work?" Luna asked you.

"Yep," you said, as you went to play a video. You chose the first episode of Red vs Blue, turned the volume up, then played the episode.

After watching the whole thing, both of the sisters where surprised on how that happened. "How did that work?" They both said almost at the same time.

You told then you didn't know, you only fixed the motherboard to get it to turn on. After that, you headed back to your room to binge-watch the first season.

The Crystal Empire

March 19, 2565, 01:29 hours

Canterlot Castle, Equestria

You woke up startled. You just had a nightmare about the Flood landing here. If that happens, this planet will die in under a day. You got out of your bed and went looking for Luna. For it being in the middle of the night you had trouble finding her. You were about to give up, but then you saw a partially opened door. Strange, you never have notice that before. When you went inside, you were amazed. It was a workout gym, with equipment, boxing sandbags, and a training area. You walked in and saw Luna training on one of the sandbags. "Hey Luna," you said to her, which mad her jump.

"Oh, hi y/n, you scared the shit out of me," she said, being the first time you heard her curse.

"So, what is this place?" You asked her. "Is it your private gym?"

"Not really," Luna said. "But only me, Tia, Cadence and her husband know about this place, and now so do you." You remembered that Luna called Celestia by her nickname. Every sibling had a nickname for one another. You and your [brother/sister] where no different.

"So, do you mind if I use any of the equipment?" You asked.

"Go ahead," Luna said, focused on punching that sandbag to death. You walked over to the chin up bar and did 100 of those. Then you benched pressed 150 pounds. You can't do bench presses well, because you were more of an agile, fast kind of body type. Then You knocked three sandbags off their hinges, and you did this all in under thirty minutes. You decided to take a break, and saw that Luna was doing the same. You went over to go talk to her.

"Hey y/n, do you want to spar with me?" She asked as you walked over.

"Sure," you said. "Just prepared to get your ass kicked."

"I wouldn't be so confident if I were you," She said. "Princesses also have elite combat training."

"I'll still win," you said, as you picked up one of the training poles, and she did the same. When you both stepped on to the training area, you wasted no time getting down to business. She made the mistake of attempting to strike first, which you made her pay by rolling around her and hitting her in the back.

"Ow," she said. "Are you OK?" You asked her. "Yeah, if they weren't meant to hurt, the staffs would be softer." You two continued. She went on the offensive side, being smart and surgically hitting you in effective areas. But you blocked them all. Her attacks where getting predictable. You knew the easiest way to win a fight was to be unpredictable. You tried to hit her, just to see what she would do. Because of that, she ducked and tripped you, then popped up to lunge and attack again. But you started to swing the pole wildly to hit any on who came near you, which Luna made the mistake to do. She ended up hitting the ground. You walked over to help her up, but she pulled you to the ground, flipped over you and pinned you down.

"What where you saying about winning?" She asked, thinking she had you beat.

"Still saying it, I expected you to do that," You said knowing she was sitting on the training staff. You then use it to throw her up in the air. When she hit the floor, you walked over to her.

"Y-you win," she said. You helped her up.

"You did good," You said to her. "For living in a relatively peaceful planet, you blew my expectations for your combat abilities out of the water. But your attacks where way too predictable."

"Where did you learn how to do all that stuff?" She asked.

"The UNSC. They give really good CQC training to marines," you said.

"Can You teach me?" She said with cute puppy doll eyes.

"Only if your available every Tuesday and Thursday night," You replied. She looked so happy at your response, and it made you just as happy seeing it. After that, she asked you to leave she could change. You obviously did it, you didn't have that good of a relationship yet. You went back to your room to change as well. After you both Were done, you met up on a couch and started to snuggle.

"Hey y/n," She said.

"Yes babe," you said

The Crystal Empire, Equestria

When the train pulled into the station, there were guards waiting to help carry your stuff. You waved the off because you where more than capable to carry your own shit around. You were kind of disappointed. Soldiers where meant for fighting, not hauling around luggage. That was meant for another person to be hired. When you and the sisters went to the castle you noticed something. All the people where shiny, like a crystal. You thought that was neat, and it is combat effective. If you reflect the sun and blind your opponents, you can take the upper hand. You had to focus. Celestia and Luna are tasking you with escorting them to the castle. At first the royal guards were hesitant, but then Celestia told them how she tried to jump scare you, but you didn't flinch because you noticed her five minutes ago. But the job made you a little paranoid. See with your job, you've seen the worst of the world and where tasked with killing it. It wouldn't be surprising if one person in this world wanted either Celestia or Luna dead. You had to protect them. When you got to the castle and went in, you let your guard down. The only way now for there to be a threat is if one of the guards tried to commit regicide. When you Entered the room, you saw Princess Cadence and her husband, Shining Armor, who was also Twilight's older brother. Because you did not know him, you offered to shake hands.

"Hi, I'm y/n," You said.

"Shining Armor. I heard you are a space soldier," he said.

"More or less. And I heard you where the captain of the royal guard. Seems like a high rank," You said.

"Yes, it is, how about you rank in the military you came from?" He asked. " I am ranked at a specOps sniper, not the best rank in the UNSC, but definitely not the worst, you said.

"Then what is the highest rank? He asked. You responded with "It depends what branch of the UNSC you are in, and if you went to college or not. The highest rank in the navy you can get is Fleet Admiral, but without college its petty officer. For the marines, the highest is General, or Sargent Major without college. But for me, because I'm a sniper, normal ranks do not apply to me ASIB4 is the highest rank I could have got."

Before Shining could ask another question, Cadence stopped him, and the Princesses got down to business. The discussed treaties, the state of other nations, doing a literal shit ton of red tape, the usual government stuff. When they were done, about two hours, two long hours, Luna decided to tell everyone that you were dating.

March 21, 2565, 12:01 hours

Canterlot Castle, Equestria

It has been two days since going to the Crystal Empire. You have done one training lesson with Luna, and she didn't like what you did. She asked you to "teach me exactly how you got taught," so you did. Unfortunately, she had no idea how many laps, push-ups, burpees, sit ups, chin ups, and all that kind of bull shit you CQC instructor made you do before actually teaching you anything combat wise. But that was two days ago, and you were eating lunch, which was an egg sandwich. You knew it was the middle of the day, but you needed to eat some sort of protein, even if it is just eggs. After eating your sandwich, you walked around the city of Canterlot. You eventually found a casino, and with the only ten bits you had, you went in and joined a table. You remembered Luna and Celestia playing a card game yesterday that seemed a lot like rummy. You decided to join and learned that the cards were basically the same thing here as in Human space. After winning the game, you asked if they could teach you poker. When the did you were pleased to see that it was played the same exact way here as back in Human space. The poker table you joined at the casino was playing a game called "Share Five" which was the Equestrian version of Texas Hold 'Em, which you were amazing at.

When you sat down and asked to be dealt in, everyone at the table started laughing at how little money you had. One of the even said "go play at the table for the people who lost all of their money, this table is for skilled players."

You responded with that "I just got here and haven't lost a single penny. I just don't have many Bits."

One of the guys at the table told everyone to let you play, and when he lost all his money he needed to leave. After an hour has passed, you made three guys lose all their money and made them leave, get three flushes, make ten thousand Bits, and make everyone at the table fear you. You have been playing poker since middle school and you've learned when to fold or keep going, when to intimidate bet or play smart, and when to raise or call. And you had a great poker face. You decided to spare the rest of the people at the table and leave with you ten thousand bits. You decided to do some spending. You bought some materials to be able to make a blacksmith forge and brought it to your room. The you decided to go to the Crystal Empire to buy a LTD (low temp diamonds), or because they haven't been in space yet, a normal diamond. You will use this to carve out things in the forging process. It might sound crazy and weird, but it helps make things sharper and more lethal. But on the way back to the train, you saw a blue crystal necklace that you thought would look perfect on Luna. When you got back Celestia saw all the stuff you bought.

"What the hell is all of this?" She said extremely pissed off.

"They are materials used to make a forge, which I can use to make bullets and guns," you said, trying to avoid her fiery rage of Celestia. Or if she does that Daybreaker thing (Luna told you if you got Celestia mad, she would make herself look like Daybreaker and yell at you. A lot). But her reaction was not expected. She was pleased with that, in sort of a creepy power-hungry kind of way. But you knew she wasn't tyrannical; she just knew that who would be dumb enough to attack Equestria if they can kill you from 2000 meters away. She just wanted firearms for defending her nation.

"Well, I will let you construct this forge in a separate room, but only if you make another gun," she said.

"Deal," you said. "So, do we shake hands or something?"

"No," Celestia said. "I trust that you will keep your word."

After setting up the forge you got straight to work. While the steel was heating, you realized since polymer has not been invented yet here, you had to use straight up metal. You started to carve the firing pin. Then you took some of the molten steel and let it cool. The before it hardened, you melded it to be the part that held the clip. Then repeated the process but making a barrel instead of the frame. Then you attached the barrel to the frame and inserted the firing pin and trigger. Then you made the slide for it and you put it on, completing the pistol. Then you checked it for mistakes. You saw none. You started to make four magazines each holding ten bullets. When you were done, you decided to go find Celestia to alert her of your progress. When she came, she looked at the pistol and said

"This looks off. I thought it would look like yours."

"It's still a gun," you said. "But it is only a pistol, which is a shorter and smaller gun compared to my rifle. You never said to make a rifle, so I make this. It's still just as lethal."

"Of course, I'm sorry for making such quick assumptions of the weapon," Celestia said. "But does it work?"

"Let's find out," you said. You went outside, put the mag into the pistol, cambered the bullet by pulling back on the slide, and aimed at a tree. You then pulled the trigger five times rapidly, expending five bullets. It worked perfectly, and the fire spray was very minimal.

"Wow," Celestia said, looking at the tree. "Can I keep it?"

"Sure," you said as you unloaded the weapon. "But do you want me to paint it first?"

"Yes please," she responded. While you were painting it a fiery yellow with a pattern kind of like the sun, you removed the firing pin. It's not that you didn't trust Celestia not go around killing people, you just wanted to know when she started to use it. After giving her the gun and telling her all the warnings (like not to use it for personal defense because it couldn't work), you sought out to find Luna and give her the necklace. When you entered her room (of course with her permission) you asked her what she was up to.

"Nothing really, just preparing for Nightmare Night," she said.

"Can you please explain to me what Nightmare Night is?" you asked.

"It is were kids dress up and go door to door getting candy, and then theypay tribute to Nightmare Moon, so I do not eat them," She said. "I did not discover this holiday in the best way." So basically, it was Halloween, but for this place. But October was seven months away.

"Um Luna, may I ask what month it is?" you said.

"It is Decimam," she said. "The tenth month of the year."

"Wow," You said. "Equestria is seven months ahead of Earth."

"Apparently," She said. "Hey, I'm practicing something. During Nightmare Night the kids like me to scare them."

"Brave kids," you said. "

Yes," she said. "And I want you to see if I can look like her well."

"OK," you sad. She started to do the spell, and when she was done, she looked exactly like Nightmare Moon. "Wow, you did a good job," you told her.

"Thanks," she responded. Then she did something completely unexpected. She pounced on you in a sexual kind of way. You were completely surprised. Your mind began to race.

"So, which one is A again?" you asked. Twilight was trying to teach you the Equestrian alphabet, but she was having a hard time to get you to understand it.

"Why don't you study it, a lot and a lot of studying," Twilight said, running out of ideas. Like hell you were going to do it. But you will if you didn't come up with another idea.

"Why don't I make a keyboard on my communication chip for this alphabet, only use it, and when I have it memorized, I can learn how to write the characters better," you said.

"That sounds like a good idea y/n!!" Twilight exclaimed. "You should get right to it."

"I am," you said as you finalized the keyboard. You tried to leave, but every wall and door looked the same. "Twilight should really put up some maps in here," you said out loud. After walking around for five minutes, you were 100% sure you were walking in a circle.

"Are you lost?" You heard a female voice say to you. It was Twilight's student. You think her name is Starlight Glimmer.

"Starlight," she said. "So, do you need help out of the castle?"

"Yep," you said. "It just looks all the same."

"No problem," she said as she went back into the castle. You decided to head back to you new home and rest for a bit.

Ponyville, Equestria

You were walking out from Sugarcube Corner, after having this huge ice cream sundae, which even though it was good, you will probably throw up from eating it. Because the military food had so little sugar, your body lost the ability to eat it. But it is a small price to pay. As you walked around, you saw Rarity's shop. You remembered you only had one pair of cloths, so you decided to go buy some.

"Hello y/n, how are you today?" She greeted you. For some reason, her voice did sound British.

"Good, thank you for asking," you said.

"The same reason you have this shop open," you said. "To buy clothes."

You almost laughed out loud. For some reason, some cities here are coincidentally named like ones back home in America. Like for Fillydelphia, there is Philadelphia. For Manehattan there is Manhatten, Baltimare for Baltimore, and for the new place she mentioned there is Las Vegas.

"Can I ask a question?" You asked Rarity while she was taking measurements.

"Sure," she said."

"Are there any other nations or countries on this planet other than Equestria?" You asked.

"Why yes, of course," she said. "There is Mustangia, Yakyakistan, Maretonia, and Saddle Arabia."

After hearing that, you lost it. You could not stop laughing.

"What is so funny about that?" Rarity asked.

You tried to answer her, but you were laughing so much you couldn't talk. When you finally calmed down you said "Back home on Earth we had cities in the country of America, where I come from, and some of the cities in Equestria names are just modified versions of cities. And then Saddle Arabia sounds just like Saudi Arabia, which is another country on Earth."

"Oh," Rarity said. "I see why you find that funny. I bet if I were on Earth, I would find your city names funny."

You wanted to say you wouldn't get that far, but you did not want to bring up the subject of ONI and must explain it. Because if you did, and the UNSC did find you, you knew ONI would sure as hell kill everyone here and send you to the Midnight Facility, just to make sure no one knew of their dark secrets.

"All done with the measurements, and I will have your cloths ready in about an hour," Rarity said.

"Thank you," you said in response. When you left the shop, you wondered how to kill time for an hour. You walked around the town again, trying to find something to do. You found nothing. And you thought Canterlot was boring with all the aristocrat and noble business up there. You guessed people enjoy their jobs here to the point of not needing entertainment. Or today was just a boring day today. After an hour of speculating about life and culture here, you headed back to Rarity's shop.

"Here you are," Rarity said as she handed you the cloths. "That will be 850 bits." You handed Rarity the money.

"Thank you," you said as you took the cloths from her.

"Have a nice day!" She said as you left the store.

"You too," you said back. "But it's 19:00 hours, it's nowhere near the day," you though to yourself. You wondered how much that would piss Luna off from just hearing that as you head towards the train.

Canterlot Castle, Equestria

"Good job," you said. "That is all for tonight."

"Finally, I did it!" Luna exclaimed, as she bounced over to you and gave you a big hug. Then she walked over to a bench and collapsed onto it. You brought her some water.

"Why don't you take I easy for the rest of the night, unless your royal duties interfere with that," you said.

"Will do," Luna said. "Can you help me up?" You reached out a hand to pull her off the bench.

"I'm going to take a shower, so you know where to find me," you told her.

"Okay," she responded. You went to you room, took off your cloths, and took a long thirty-minute hot shower. After that you changed into more comfy cloths and sought out Luna. You saw her laying on the couch. When you sat down, she moved over and curled up next to you.

"So, what are you going to dress up as for Nightmare Night?" Luna asked.

"I don't know," you said. "No one here fears the things Humans are because you all have a different culture. I was thinking about not dressing up as anything, but I don't feel like that is an option. But I know for sure I will hold up a sign that says anyone who manages to scare me will receive 100 Bits."

"Why so cocky," Luna said with a smile. "Because I believe no one can scare me," you said. "Jump scaring me is out of the picture because I'm a sniper, and It's a part of my training to know when people are around me. And trying to scare me with a creepy mask will also not work because I bet ten million bits that no one can make something that looks more horrifying than the flood."

"Well about the costume thing," Luna said. "We have eight days to figure it out."

"Yeah, I guess you're right," you said. "Well I'm going to head to bed, I have to get up super early if I want to make a SMG on that forge I have." As you were heading towards your room you heard Luna run up behind you.

Well, tonight was Nightmare Night, the first Equestrian holiday since you were here. You were a little exited, just to see how it is different from Halloween, and to see if anyone here knows how to scare you. Costume wise, you just wore your sniper armor and said you were a futuristic soldier.

But enough with the flashbacks. You did want to hang out with Luna, but she had a job to do. You were walking around when your first scare attempt happened. "Boo!!!" A random kid said jumping out from behind you.

You walked over handed them the extra two darts you had and said, "pay up."

Caterlot Castle, Equuestria

You were heading to the training room, because it was a Tuesday, so you and Luna had that combat training. You had great lesson in mind because it was Nightmare Night. You assumed it was the latter. You got out of the mud and ran to the rendezvous point. "Why do you want Inferonia's hive so much?" Celestia asked

"Because when my original hive left me, it pained me. So, I would like a chance to try again and maybe do it right this time," Chrysalis said.

"Okay," Celestia said. "Then let us discuss the terms of this."

But the Forerunners found this out and attacked the Precursors, killing most of them. But some of them turned themselves into a powder like thing, to stay dormant until they could come back again. But this powder mutated, and a long, long time after this event the Humans found the powder, but scans on it showed it was harmless. So, the Humans fed it to their pets. But little did they know this powder was now the Flood. Their pets began acting odd and aggressive, weird growths on their bodies. This eventually evolved into the modern Flood, and the Humans had to destroy Forerunner planets to stop the spread of the infection. The way the Flood infect, is very disturbing. One of the ways they do it is that they use infection forms, which are little spider like things, which latch on to a victim, tear open its chest and taps into it nervous system, and begins repurposing the victim's body into a combat form, giving the victim extreme mental and physical torture. Then the Flood goes through the victim's memories to find if they have any useful information. But as they go through, they delete the memories. After that, the Flood gains all the knowledge and abilities the victim had. But if a Flood hive is constructed, then Flood spores are made, which also can infect a victim. And getting the Flood super-cell into a body also infects it. The Flood also gather bodies to construct a Gravemind, which is the Flood central intelligence. Once completed, the Gravemind gains all knowledge of the former ones due to Precursor neural physics.

"That is terrifying. Having to fight through hordes of those things," Luna said

"Yeah," you said. "Now to answers Celestia's Question, the Forerunners constructed these super weapons called Halos. They were used to indirectly combat the Flood by wiping out all sentient life in the galaxy, and forcing the Flood to be dormant, where decomposition eventually kills it. So, the Forerunners where forced to use it and all life in the galaxy perished. But the Forerunners had a plan to fix the damage they had done. After the Flood where gone, Pod-like things would use the DNA stored from each race they knew about to create the species. The pods would then land on the species home worlds and let them live and re-evolve."

"That's why our history doesn't go that far back," Celestia said.

"That was nice and all, but can we get back to the topic of Inferonia," Chrysalis said.

"Right, my bad," you said. "So how do we navigate a Changeling hive.?"

Chrysalis got some paper and pens. "Pay attention," She said. "This is going to get confusing."

And Knock Them Down

April 12, 2565, 24:00 hours

Outside Inferonia's hive, Equestria

You and Luna where sent to do the scouting phase of the attack, to find out about the outside security. I was the middle of the night, which is when both of you worked best. Chrysalis said that the throne would stop all magic from working. Luckily for you, you didn't need to use magic to kill someone. You had brought your sniper rifle, combat knife, and some spare ammo. Luna had brought her sword, the Shadow Specter. "I know this a bad time to ask, but wouldn't the sword not work? You asked Luna.

"They may be able to deny me of my magic, but they cannot deny me of myself," Luna said.

"So, the throne doesn't stop nightmare magic," you said.

"Yes," Luna said.

"Interesting," you said. "There seems to be no guards out."

Your motion sensor went off behind you as you saw Luna hit the ground unconscious.

"Oh, that's where the guards went," You said as you turned on you re-breather. Then you felt something hit the back of your head and you were out cold.

April 12, 2565, Unknown Hour

Inferonia's hive, Equestria

"Ow, the back of my head," you thought. "Where the hell am I".

You opened your eyes and saw you were in one of the cocoon things. But because you had you re-breather on, none of the fluids where getting into you, meaning you were not being converted into a love producing slave. It also meant you were not in the trance-like conversion state, so you could think clearly and move. You slowly turned you head and saw Luna in the cocoon right next to you.

"I need to get her out of there!" You thought. She didn't have a re-breather, so she was not safe. You had no idea how long you were knocked out, so you needed to get her out before the cocoon finished its job. You saw that the Changelings took your rifle and knife, but not your spare clips of ammo. You reached for the clip and took out a bullet, which took a painfully long time because of how thick the fluid was. "Come on y/n, you can do it," you thought as you use all you might to thrust the tip of the bullet into the cocoon. "Come on you are strong enough to do this. Do if for Luna." You got the bullet into the cocoon and swiped up, making a big enough hole for you to get out of. When you got out a few Changelings where waiting for you. You ran up to them, the leapfrogged them, picked up your sniper rifle and conveniently gave them each a new hole in their head. Then picked up your knife jumped up and cut the cocoon that Luna was in, and she fell out. You ran over to her and knelt by her.

"Oh god, that was terrible," Luna said.

"Are you OK?" You asked.

"Yes, thanks to you," Luna said. "Before you got me out, I was thinking weird thoughts like 'serve the hive' and shit like that.

"Good think I came when I came," you said.

"How did you rescue me?" Luna asked. "I thought you were cocooned as well."

"I was," you said. "But my re-breather was on, so none of the fluids got get in."

"If it wasn't for that, we both would be love slaves," Luna said.

"Only still together just to make love for a tyrannical bug," you said.

"Speaking of, let's go kill her while we are here," Luna said picking up her sword.

The next thing you did was alert a patrol, so that half of them went to the throne room to protect their Queen. You and Luna followed them, leading you directly to Inferonia.

As you entered the room, Inferonia said, "Well I guess being love slave wasn't good enough for you." A bunch of Changelings came down from the ceiling and restrained you and Luna. "It will be a waste to turn you two into Changelings, but I have no choice," Inferonia said. "Bring me the Princess first."

"No," you said. "Take me first."

"And risk being killed," Inferonia said. "Also, I will be fun to watch your lover to turn you into a Changeling personally."

The guards restraining Luna knocked her sword out of her hand and began pushing her towards Inferonia. You began getting very angry at what they were about to do to Luna. You had so much rage in you that you heard a voice.

"y/n, use me, use that anger you feel and slaughter these Changelings." You saw that it was the sword that was saying that.

"Fuck it," you thought. "If I die by the sword and Luna lives that is fine by me." You dove for the sword and picked it up. The aura around the blade turned black. A group of Changelings circled you but doing a 360-degree slash killed them.

"N-no, stop ahh," you heard Luna yell. Inferonia had started the changing process. You ignored all the other Changelings and ran straight for Inferonia, thrusting the sword into her neck. She let go of Luna and dropped to the ground, dead. All the Changelings nearby ran away from you in terror and you knelt by Luna. She looked emotionless, probably from getting a lot of love taken out of her. You picked her up and embraced her with a kiss, hoping it would help her.

"Thank you, y/n," Luna said weakly

"Are you okay?" you asked.

"Yeah, I'm tired, and I feel emotionless, but that kiss helped," she said.

Without hesitation, you began to kiss her. And after a bit of that she began kissing you back. Her love energy had been restored.

"Much better, I don't feel tired anymore," Luna said.

"So, you love me again, right," You said.

"When did I stop doing that?" Luna said normally, but you heard a little bit of a flirty tone to it.

"I know this is a horrible time to ask, and I don't have anything to give you," you said. "But will you marry me?"

You have never seen Luna so happy.

" Yes! Yes, I will!" she said giving you the tightest hug ever.

After a while of hugging, Luna said, "OK let's go home. I don't know about you, but I'm covered in the cocoon gunk and I need a shower."

Then you and you new fiancée left the Changeling hive to go home.

Preparations For the Wedding

April 14, 2565, 11:00 hours

Canterlot, Equestria

It's been about two days since Inferonia's death and when you proposed to Luna. When you told everyone, they were in shock (mostly because Celestia lost a bet to Cadence that Luna wouldn't get married for next thousand years. This bet was also made when Luna returned), but they were happy for you, which was good. The wedding was scheduled to be in two days at 24:00 hours, in the middle of the night. But because you did not know about Equestrian culture well, you needed to know how the wedding will go. "Hey Luna," You asked her when you saw her walking around the castle.

"Yes y/n," She said happily. She has been happy since the proposal.

"Because I do not know the traditions of this place, I don't know how the weddings work, and I kind of need to know that to be able to prepare properly," you said.

"Of course, how dumb of me not to explain it earlier," Luna said. "But keep in mind that weddings with princesses are different than casual weddings."

"OK," you said.

Most of what Luna said was similar to human culture, but there was no bachelor party, no wedding rings, which explains why she wasn't surprised when you proposed to her without a ring, and that the wedding is public, but that is only because she is a princess.

"But," Luna said after all of that. "With marrying a princess, there is a ritual to make their soon-to-be husband not be able to die of old age, and It bonds them together forever."

"Define bond," you said

"It is hard to explain," Luna said. "Do you know about the whole sibling link thing?

"Yeah, I have a (brother/sister)," you said.

"Well the link thing kind of is like that, but stronger, and with your spouse," Luna said.

"That's cool," you said.

"Also, the person marrying the princess gets abilities to help them be around each other better," Luna said. "Like in our case scenario, you will be able to travel the dreamscape with me, see in pitch black areas, and be able to breath on the moon. But the ritual will require the element of what the princess controls."

"So, I get to marry the Hottest girl in Equestria AND get powers. This keeps getting better and better," you said. In response you got a playful nudge from Luna.

"Anyways, I'm going to buy my wedding dress, do you want to come with?" Luna asked

"Sorry, I can't," you said

"What? Why not?" Luna said surprised

"It's not for some BS reason," you said. "It's just that in Human culture we are not allowed to see our brides dress until the wedding."

"Oops, I didn't know that," Luna said. "Sorry for jumping to conclusions."

"It's fine," you said. "You didn't know, like how I didn't know of your traditions."

"Right," She said. "Well I got to go get the dress anyways. Love you."

"Love you too," you said back as before you kissed each-other.

You were at the Crystal Empire, looking for the most beautiful crystal. Because wedding rings are a Human culture thing, they do not sell them in Equestria. Meaning you will have to make your own. You found a crystal that look exactly like Luna's mane, so you bought it. It costed 100,000 bits, but it was for Luna, and you spend anything to make her happy. When you got back to the castle you immediately got to work. After five long hours of non-stop working you got it finished. The ring was made with a black metal and was a d-shape ring. In the middle, it there was an outline of a crescent moon with the crystal you found on the inside. Around the ring there was Precursor symbols that meant "Moon Loved." You were 100% sure Luna would love it. You were about to go find her when you heard a knock on the door. "Come in," you said.

When the door opened, you saw that it was Luna who was knocking at the door. It reminded you of the first time you met her. Your relationship really has come a long way since seeing her for the first time. She snapped you out of your thought process by saying, "What are you doing," in a flirty voice.

"I'm just chilling for the last time in this room, before I move into yours," you said.

"I bet you will miss this room," Luna said in response.

"A small price to pay for being able to always sleep with you in my arms," you said. "Anyways, I have something for you. Usually in Human culture, we give our fiancée a ring when we propose. But because I didn't have one on me, I couldn't do that. But I have it now."

You pulled out the ring and slid it on her ring finger. "Wow y/n, it's beautiful," Luna said. "I know you made it personally because no one else could make something this perfect for me." Then she leaned in and you both had a deep kiss.

"So how did shopping for the dress go?" You asked.

"Pretty well, I think you will find me sexy in the dress," Luna said.

"Please don't let It be a kinky dress," you said.

"It's not, don't worry," Luna said. "But the dress is something only you would find sexy."

"I can't wait to see it," you said.

For about the next hour, the two of you were sitting there talking about stuff. Somehow the topic about how many times Luna and her sister where captured. Apparently, they got captured by these vine things Discord planted a long time ago, when he was evil. Luna said that the vines to action about a few years ago. She also said that the vines gave her sister pleasure while she was sitting there. Apparently Celestia was more sexual back then. Then out of the Blue, Luna asked "Hey y/n, do you mind if you move into my room earlier."

"I'm fine with that," you said.

After moving all your stuff (which wasn't much). You went into the bathroom to change clothes, while Luna did the same in the bedroom. When you came back, she was still yet to put on a shirt and pants. You must have looked confused because she said, "What, I can't sleep with just wearing underwear on?"

"Yes, you can," you said in response. "I guess I should do the same."

Then the two of you got in bed and did some semi-sexual cuddling, then went to sleep.

The Wedding

Authors note: I have never been to a wedding before. A lot of internet searches where required in making this, so sorry if this chapter isn't as good as it could be.

April 16, 2565, 24:00 hours

Canterlot, Equestria

Well, today was the big day. The day you would get married. Following some of the Equestrian tradition, the two people getting married are supposed to think how they would have reacted five years ago if they heard the news from their future selves. You would think how you would laugh in the you from the future's face and tell him how ridiculous that sounded, only to find out that he was right. But for the little bit you thought about getting married (you were planning on being a soldier for your whole life), you wanted a small wedding. But because you are marring a princess, the wedding must be big.

"Small price to pay," you thought to yourself as you walked on to the altar. You tried not to think of what could go wrong, because hell, what could go wrong. Literally nothing. Not a single soul could stop you and Luna from getting married. It was pitch black outside, because the moon is not supposed to be out at its brightest until the ritual-thing.

Then, the ceremony started. The doors in the room opened, and Luna began to walk down the aisle. The dress she choose really made her beauty stand out. When she got to the altar, she stood across from you, and the marriage officiant began. After he read the thing a bit, he got to the important part.

"Princess Luna," the officiant said. "Do you accept y/n to be your husband, for as long as you live?"

"Yes, I do," Luna said.

"And y/n," the officiant said, "Do you accept Princess Luna to be your wife, for as long as you live?"

"Yes, I do," you said

"Then under the moon, let these two be bonded in marriage, forever," the officiant said, stepping down from the altar.

You and Luna began to kiss, as the roof above you opened, revealing a full moon. The moon cast down energy which created a wall of energy that surrounding the altar, trapping the two of you in. Then, beams of energy came out of the wall and created a circle of energy surrounding you and Luna. In the back of your head, you felt an indescribable feeling. You assumed that was the two of you getting linked. Then, when the process was complete, the auroras of energy died down, and you two stopped kissing. The whole room began to be filled with clapping, and you hugged Luna.

"We did it," you said to her.

"Yeah, it feels weird being married," She said. "I can somewhat feel your emotions. It's like you are a part of me."

"I guess that's what the linking does," you said. "But it is nice knowing we will be together forever."

"Yep," Luna said. "Now, we have a celebration to start."

The party was amazing. Luna decided to have Pinkie Pie plan it, being that party planning was her special talent. You thought that it wouldn't be a wedding theme, because how strange and hyper Pinkie is, but you where proven wrong. You and Luna where having a great time and so was everyone else. You saw the other princesses hanging out by a food table. You walked over and said, "Well, now only Twilight and Celestia are the ones not married."

"So what," Celestia said. "I don't want to get married."

"So, then you won't get to be a queen," Luna said from behind you.

"I hope you know that getting married doesn't automatically make you a queen," Celestia said.

"I know, I was just kidding," Luna said.

"Wait, how does one become a queen In Equestria?" You asked.

"It only happens when only one princess is alive, so they have to take responsibility of all of the roles," Celestia said.

"That makes sense," you said. Then you turned your attention to Luna. "Come on, let's dance."

Then the two of you proceeded to dance the night away.

April 17, 2565, 07:00 hours

Canterlot Castle, Equestria

You and Luna where straight up exhausted, from a whole night of partying, which was something you never expected. You where an elite soldier who can stay up 144 hours without sleep, and you get tired from a party. Adrenaline does a lot of thing for you. The two of you decided to go to bed. While you are changing, Luna said, "This day of sleep is probably going to be weird for you, now that you are able to travel the dreamscape."

"Does that mean we can have linked dreams?" You asked.

"Yes," Luna said. "But remember, there are two people in here." She pointed to her head saying as she said that.

"Right," you said. "That just means twice the fun."

The two of you lied down on the bed, under the sheets. "I want to have sex with you, but I'm too tired," Luna said.

"Sex doesn't have to be intense each time," you said.

"Your right," She said. You both pulled down you pants, and you slid you dick into her pussy calmly, and you both soon fell asleep.

Part 3: The Storm Will Come

June 10, 2565, 23:00 hours

Deep space, Unknown Human Capital Ship

A Human soldier walked onto the command bridge of a Human capital ship his right sleeve had a patch of O.N.I. "Sir," he said.

"Yes," The Captain of the ship.

"We found him," The Soldier said. "We found MOS18 series y/n."

"Good," The Captain said. "Alert the board."

"And also, he is on the planet we are looking for," The soldier continued. Then he told one of the ships operators to call Board Member Inganno.

"Yes, Captain Jones," He said.

"We found the Sniper and the planet, “Captain Jones said.

"Good, 'retire' the sniper, and take over the planet," Board Member Inganno said.

"When we scanned the planet, we saw life forms," The soldier said.

"Kill anyone who resists, we need to mine that planet to build the super weapon to stop anything like the created from happening again," The Board Member said.

"Yes sir," Captain Jones said. "Set course for the planet."

In front of the ship a slipspace portal opened and the ship began flying into it. "This will be an easy victory," the Captain said.

How wrong he was.

June 12, 2565, 2:30 hours

Canterlot Castle, Equestria

It has been two months since the wedding and, you could not be any happier. A few days after, you were promoted to captain of the Night guard, Luna's personal army. But enough about the past. Now you and Luna where walking around the castle, talking. You two have talked basically about everything in your life, even the war against the created. But no one has yet to know anything about O.N.I, other than its name. But tonight, Luna was a little pushy. "So, you never talk about O.N.I. Why is that," She said.

"Because if I tell any of O.N.I's Secrets, they will kill me and everyone that heard," you said.

"But you said it was almost impossible to get here, and why would they look for a sniper that was reported dead. They are not going to find us," Luna said.

"Fine, I'll talk," You said. "After the Interplanetary war in 2170, The UNSC, which had been made in the war, created the Office of Naval Intelligence. The Office was meant to do espionage, propaganda, and experiments that would benefit Humanity. Most of the stuff the do is in the grey area of ethicality."

"Can you give me an example?" Luna asked

"For the Spartan II program, they kidnapped children to turn them into super soldiers, but they ended up saving humanity from the Covenant," you said. "But I never want those O.N.I bastards to set foot here."

"Why," Luna asked.

"I've seen the rocks and crystal here. They are the kind of stuff O.N.I needs to do project Aries, a super weapon program," you said. "They want to make it so they could stop threats like the created and the Covenant. Both factions claimed so many lives."

"Why don't you want that, to stop Human genocide?" Luna said,

"Because to do this, they need to do genocide here," you said. "To get the stuff necessary to make the weapon, they need to destroy Equestria."

"Oh," Luna said. "Yeah that's bad."

"No shit," you said. "I can't let that happen."

Little did anyone there know, O.N.I was on their way to cause the bloodiest war in Equestria. O.N.I was superior in combat in every way. But Equestria's only chance to survive lies with y/n.

First Contact

June 13, 2565, 13:34 hours

Canterlot Castle, Equestria

You and Luna where sitting together on a balcony in the castle. It was the middle of the day, and neither of you could get sleep, with the sun being unusually bright today. You though Celestia was doing this on purpose, as revenge for putting a tiny explosive in her cake that sent it all over her face.

"Hey y/n, I have a question," Luna asked

"Yeah, what is it," you said.

"If your human buddies ever try to invade Equestria, how hard do you think it would be to stop them?" She said.

"Well, I doubt it be an invasion, for that destroying a planet probably will not be authorized by the O.N.I board of directors," you responded.

"But what if they did," Luna said.

"Well, if it were a whole fleet, they would be able to kill us from orbit. But because O.N.I likes to be discreet about thinks, then It probably would be one ship, which we should be able to fend off with a lot of luck and strategic thinking," you said. "I would say if one ship did come there would be a 67 percent change, we would fail."

"At least we would know they were here," Luna said. Not too long ago, you and the Princesses figured out that the Everfree Forest reacts weird whenever there is a slipspace rupture. But only Zecora has so far be able to tell the difference in the forest. She said something about how when your pelican dropship and the Banished capital ship came into atmosphere via slipspace the forest "spiritual energy" was off. Because that was probably a zebra thing, you just asked her to let Twilight know when that happened, so that you could assess the situation.

...

You and Luna where about to attempt to sleep again, when a running guard ran into you. "Sorry, sorry, I just needed to get an urgent message to the Princesses. It is from Princess Twilight," he said.

"Well run no further because there is one standing right next to me," you said.

"Oh yeah, sorry about that," the guard said.

"Can you tell us the message?" Luna asked.

"Twilight said there has been a disturbance in the Everfree Forest," the guard said.

"Shit," you said, running to the nearest window and looking out of it. In the distance, by where the Banished ship had crashed, you saw a smaller ship landing.

"What is it?" Luna asked

"It's a Human ship. But I think It is a subprowler, so taking care of its crew will be easy," you said.

"Take care of? What if it isn't O.N.I?" Luna said.

"If it wasn't O.N.I, we would be seeing a capital ship landing, and I would be getting a transmission to all UNSC forces in the area that the ship set down safely," you said.

"So, what are we going to do?" Luna asked.

"I am going to scout the area, and if they really are not on our side, then kill them all," you said.

"I'm coming with you," Luna said.

"Okay, just don't get in the way," you said. "As for you soldier, alert Celestia of where we are going."

"Sir yes sir," he said before continuing to run in the opposite direction.

Once you and Luna where in the royal armory, you both began to equip your armor. You checked to see how many bullets you had left and saw that it still was a lot. After grabbing multiple ammo mags, you and Luna began to head out.

June 13, 2565, 14:03 hours

Everfree Forest, Equestria.

You and Luna where laying on a ledge overlooking the subprowler. You so far counted 38 O.N.I soldiers, which should be the whole crew. You saw one taking soil tests, and he began talking to someone. "What is he saying?" You asked Luna, knowing her race has better hearing.

" I can't make out much. He is too far away, even for me to hear well. But I think he is talking about how this place is the right one, and how someone named Inganno will be happy," she said.

"That is all the info we need," you said panning you rifle, lining it up with a guy’s head. You pulled the trigger, sending the two soldiers into the afterlife. Even though you had a silencer on your rifle the other soldiers noticed to two dead ones hit the ground.

"Someone’s here!!" a Soldier said. "Find them."

"I hope it's not that sniper we were told about, I heard he has so many confirmed kills, it’s terrifying," another one said.

You pulled the trigger on you rifle four more times, killing four more soldiers, before reloading. But one soldier saw you.

"He is over there!!" He said, pointing in your direction.

"Teleport us, now!" You said to Luna, and she did as instructed, saving both of you from a rain of bullets.

"Where did he go?" The soldier who pointed you out said. He obviously failed to notice that you were behind him drawing you combat knife. You took it and firmly planted it into the back of his neck. Before any of the other soldiers could react, you took to combat knife out of his body and threw it into the head of another. But the noise of a pin being pulled caused you to turn around, and when you did, you saw a frag grenade flying in your direction. You closed your eyes and hoped for the best, but when you opened them you saw that Luna put up a protective barrier around you. As she walked out onto the battlefield, she got varied looks from you opponents, and most where confused ones. But she didn't care. She held out her sword and cast a spell which made a bunch of swords appear out of nowhere. When she pointed a sword at someone, all the other swords when flying, killing all the soldiers. She then let down the barrier that saved you.

"I save one for you to question," she said pointing at a living soldier, who flinched when she did so. You two walked up to him.

"W-who are you?" He said to Luna in a fearful voice.

"I am your worst nightmare," She said scaring him even more.

"Please don't kill me, I was just following orders," He said. "I told the Captain not to go AWOL but-"

"Wait, the Board of Directors didn't authorize this?" You said, cutting him off.

"No, only Board Member Inganno did," the soldier said.

"How many forces are there?" you asked.

"One Epoch Class Heavy Carrier full," he said.

"Fuck," you swore. "Well thank you for being cooperative. I'll make sure your cell is better than most." You picked him up by his good arm, and you and Luna, dragging him behind, and set off.

June 14, 2565, 16:40 hours

Canterlot Castle, Equestria

"Well, I feel like we have to get lucky to win this fight," you said to the princesses, after talking to the prisoner.

"What info did you get out of him?" Twilight asked.

"His name is Lance Corporal Joseph Burns, he is 25 years old, and he confirmed the worst. They are here for project Aries," you said.

"Please say there is good news," Celestia said.

"There is," you explained. "The ship, Infinite Sight, is AWOL, s-"

"What does AWOL mean?" Twilight asked.

"It means absent without lead. It means that they will not have reinforcements. And if O.N.I, or hell, the U.N.S.C found out, then everyone on the ship would get a Court Martial," you said.

"I hope that happens," Luna said.

"It most likely won't, so we have to be prepared for the worst," you said. "I'm going to interrogate the prisoner more, but I don't think he will talk about what I want him to without some... motivation."

"We do not do torture here," Luna said. "I thought we already made that clear."

"I know, I just want you to scare him a bit," you responded.

"Okay, I'll do that," Luna said.

The two of you walked in. The prisoner had a nice cell. It looks more comfortable then some of the barracks in the military, especially on capital ships. When he saw Luna, his eyes when wide in fear.

"Please don't hurt me," he said, very afraid.

"She won’t, as long as you talk," you said in response.

"I'm sorry, I can't," he said in response.

Luna drew her sword, causing the prisoner to flinch. "Maybe this might cause a change of heart," she said.

"Okay, I'll talk," he said.

"What type of EXP weapons are on the ship?" You asked.

"We have Forerunner weapons, but none EXP," he said.

"How large is the crew?"

"25,000 strong."

"How well is their training?"

"Good, really good. But I assume yours is better."

"Don't try to flatter me."

"I was just trying to be nice."

"What is the overall plan of the Captain?"

"Take out smaller cities, do infiltration to kill important people, try to make sure the opponent has the least amount of hope left as possible. The usual O.N.I tactic."

"Okay. Thank you for being cooperative for a prisoner."

"Wait," Luna said. "Can I ask him a question."

"Sure," you said.

Luna looked at him. "Why do you fear me."

"Why wouldn't I?" He said, afraid. "You killed almost all of my squad of 100 soldiers with nothing but a though. Then almost killed me. I can see straight through you. You’re not who you try to make others think you are. There is a demon in there."

"Smart," Luna said. "You’re the second one to figure it out." Then she walked away.

"The prisoner looked at you. "I'm assuming you figured it out first," he said.

"Yeah. We're married, so I know most of her secrets," You said it response before walking away.

...

It was two hours you were standing on a balcony. It was starting to get dark. Everything was peaceful. Luna walked up from behind you.

"When I resigned, I always wanted to come to a place like this," you said to her. "So peaceful and beautiful."

"Well, you got your wish," She said to you.

"Not yet. I'm still fighting, spilling blood. I did used to do It for Earth and humanity, but now I do it for this place and for you," you said.

"For me?"

"Yes. I would die for you."

"I don't think I could live without you."

"I hope you won’t have to."

"Me too."

Then the moment was ruined by the sound of a MAC round going off. You saw an explosion in the distance.

"What the fuck was that," Luna said.

"MAC round. They are here," you said.

A guard came running up.

"Let me guess," you said. "A huge explosion happened in a city because a ship in orbit shot at it."

"Yeah," the guard said. "How did you know?"

"Because I just fucking saw it fucking happen. What are you standing around and doing, assemble a counterattack force to go to the city," you said.

"Yes sir," He said saluting. "The soldiers nearby the city put up a shield before the explosion hit. They are evacuating civilians now."

"Good," you said, as he began to leave to do the task you instructed. You turned your attention to Luna. "I guess we should get ready."

"I'm not letting you two have all the fun," Celestia said from behind. "I'm coming with you."

"Please tell me you just got there," you said.

"Yeah, I did," Celestia said. "I didn't hear your romantic conversation with my sister."

"Good," Luna said. "You respect our privacy."

"Why wouldn't I?" Celestia said.

"Can this conversation wait for later," you said.

"Fine," they both said.

...

You, Luna, Celestia, and an entire platoon of soldiers where on the way to the city. You were just outside when you heard a familiar noise. You held up your fist to signal the platoon to stop.

"What is it?" Luna asked.

"Shh, I hear something," you said. You could hear the whistle of a Shiva falling. "They wouldn't," you said.

Celestia began to speak, "They wouldn’t do wha-"

Then the Shiva hit the city. A huge ear-splitting explosion when off, and a mushroom cloud formed over the city.

"Everyone put up a force field now!" You yelled. Every one that could use magic made one collective large force field, before it was engulfed in flames. In about five minutes, the fire went away. "Keep up the field!" You said.

"Why do we need to?" Celestia asked. "The fire is gone."

"That may be true, but the radiation is still there," you said.

"Radiation?" Celestia said.

"They dropped a Shiva-class nuclear missile on the city. They knew we were in the fallout zone, they were trying to trick us," You said.

"I still want to know the effects of radiation," Celestia said.

"It breaks down organic cells. It kills living things easily."

"Oh."

"Do you two know a teleportation spell that could get us all out of here."

"I do," Luna said.

Here horn started to glow, and then you and all the soldiers where outside the castle.

"What now?" Luna said.

"We need that ship destroyed," you said. "We need to start a ground battle large enough to have it have to set down to deploy the troops, then we sneak on, and finish this fight."

Author's Note

Sorry for the long wait. I literally had no ideas for this chapter for about two weeks. Believe me, I tried to think about it, but my brain was more determined making memes. And I played too much Doom Eternal, so my vision was tinted red most the time. That's probably why this chapter is so destructive....

Canterlot Castle, Equestria

"They haven't done anything yet," Celestia said to you. Since the attack, their ship has remained in low orbit.

"Good," You said. "I questioned the prisoner. He said they only had that one Shiva nuke."

"And If he is lying?" Luna asked.

"He fears you too much. I don't think he has the balls to do so."

"And about your ground battle plan?" Celestia asked.

"I've changed it up. I don't think these guys would fall for our trap. They have a lot of Archer missiles, so they would bombard us from orbit. But I think we could force them onto the ground."

"How?" Luna asked.

"Simple. We sneak onboard using the subprowler and destroy the engines."

"If we are to sneak on, why don't we just destroy the whole thing?" Celestia asked.

"Because the reactor core will have to much guards to handle."

"Even for us?" Luna said. "Couldn't we just use spells to kill most of them?"

"The hallways are too narrow. They could kill us easily."

"Couldn't they do the same for the engine room?" Luna asked.

"They could, but then we would go for the reactor. The reactor is a black box, so it is important."

"Black box?" Celestia said.

"An object that cannot be repaired easily. They can fix the engines, but not the reactor. We just need them on the ground long enough to start a huge ground fight to thin out the reactor guards."

"So, what is the plan to get on board then?" Celestia said.

"I know we will need the prisoners help."

"Yay, time for that pathetic human to fear me," Luna said sarcastically. "I though soldiers were supposed to be brave."

"Yeah," Celestia said.

"Well, if my whole team got slaughtered by an alien girl, who just used a thought to do it, I would be scared," You said.

"I guess you have a point," Celestia said. "I would like to see the prisoner myself."

The three of them walked down to the cell area, where the prisoner was. He was sitting on his bed. When they walked up to the cell, he jumped in fear.

"T-there are two of them," he said.

"Buddy, you are on a world full of people like us," Celestia said, causing the prisoner to shudder.

"Why do you keep me alive, can't you just kill me?" The prisoner said.

"No can do," You responded. "Your too important."

"But we will make you an offer," Luna said.

"If you help us this one last time, we'll let you free," Celestia said. "As long as you don't runaway to your O.N.I buddies."

"Fine, I'll do It," he said. "What do you want."

"Do you know how to fly a subprowler?" You asked.

"To a degree," he said back.

"Good. You are going to fly us up to that capital ship."

"But that's suicide, you will never make it."

"We will, hopefully. Anyways, once you hear gunshots, you can go set the subprowler down where It was and live your life peacefully in Equestria."

"But," Luna said. "If you kill anypony, you will find your neck under the blade of a guillotine."

"O-okay, I won’t hurt anyone," he said.

"Good. We leave in a few hours," you said.

June 16, 2565, 12:00 hours

Forest Clearing, Equestria

You, Luna, Celestia, and the prisoner where boarding the falcon. He was at the controls, ready to take off.

"Everyone in," you said, getting head nods from Luna and Celestia.

"Okay, sorry if the ride is a bit shaky, I'm not too good at this," The prisoner said.

"Its fine," you said back. "As long as we get there in one piece."

The subprowler took off, and you were flying towards the ship. The ride was very shaky. In fact, so much, that you had to grab on to one of the cockpit chairs. Then the radio went off.

"Subprowler 44-566, identify yourself," A ship operative said.

"This is Lance Corporal Joseph Burns, returning from front lines," the prisoner said.

"Nice to see you come back," The operative said. "Please land at bay 3."

The prisoner set course for that pad. As he began to set down you walked into the back.

"Okay here is the plan," you said. "You two are going to teleport us out of the bay, and into the hallway. Then we wing it."

"You have got to be fucking kidding," Celestia said. "We are on a ship, where a bunch of guys want to fucking kill us, and your winging it?"

"Yep. Got any better ideas?"

Celestia sighed. "No." Luna went over to pick up her sword. The three of you grabbed each other’s arms.

"Teleport us in," you said. "Three, two, one, now!"

With a flash, you all where in the hallway. You when into a crouch position and ordered Luna and Celestia to do the same. You turned on your thermal scanner and saw that there weren't that many guards in your proximity. Yet. Even though It was slow, your team was making it through the ship, only stepping in the security camera blind spots. But then you saw a guard turn a corner, but he did it with his back to you. You used your thermal vision again and saw that no other guard could see him. Then you lunged at him, pinching your fingers around his throat. He tried to call for help but couldn't make a sound. You kept pulling at it until you heard a snap, and he fell limp. Your hands where covered in blood. When Luna saw what you did, she put her hand over her mouth and quietly gasp. You had ripped his throat out.

"Was that necessary?" Celestia whispered.

"Absolutely. It is the quietest way to kill someone," you said back, dragging the body. You opened a door to a janitor’s room and threw it in there. You did the "let’s move" hand signal. After a little while, you were at the engine room. You pulled out a hand-made timed explosive and stuck it to the drive.

"Set that timer, and she dies," a voice said. You turned around and saw that Luna was being held at gunpoint. You just simply went back to work.

"I'd rethink your decision if I were you," he said. Celestia was just standing there, confused.

"I did. But you should to," you said to him. A murderous glance appeared on Luna's face. With a wave of blue energy, she was gone.

The guy looked confused. "Were did she-"

Luna sent her sword down his back killing him.

"Since when could you shadow phase?" you asked.

"Since the Nightmare Moon times," she said back.

(for those who don't know, phasing is where you change dimensions quickly to avoid getting hit or to move faster. Shadow phasing is the same thing, except you need a shadow to do it in. But because Luna can do Umbrakinesis, she basically can do it anywhere.)

You finished setting the bomb.

"Okay let's get out of he-," you began to say. "FUCK!"

The door was lined with soldiers.

"Stay where you are!" One of them yelled.

"I got this," Celestia said. She began to use a spell, and then stomped her foot into the ground, pointing in their direction, creating a fiery explosion.

"Well, that looked painful," you said. "Let's move before more come."

You all began to run down the hall to a vehicle depot. You drew your sniper rifle and used it to kill three soldiers running your way.

"We need to get further away before- fuck it just put up a force field," you said. The sisters did so, and an explosion went off, flooding the hallway with fire. You and the sisters where safe, but the approaching hostiles where not.

An alarm went off. "Mayday, mayday, our sublight engines have been disabled. We are going in for a landing," someone said over the intercom.

You and sisters made it to one of the depots. You looked for an aircraft and saw a hornet.

"Okay I'll fly, you two put up shield to protect us," you said, getting into the hornet's cockpit, as they got onto the sides of the craft. As you began to lift off, a soldier walked out with a spartan laser. He began charging it and aiming it at your hornet.

Luna noticed the pointer. "Um, what is that?"

"Aw shi- Put up a big shield now!!!" You yelled. They did so, and the spartan laser fired, but it bounced of the shield. You fired your missiles into the depot destroying the other vehicles and killing the guy.

"Now can you explain what all that was?" Luna asked

"That was a spartan laser," you said. "It is an anti-tank weapon that weaponizes light to destroy stuff."

"Thank god that didn't hit us," Celestia said. "Now let’s go home."

...

You were sitting on your and Luna's bed, just chilling. Then she walked in.

"Hey y/n, I know we both are tired," Luna said. "But do you want to..." She did the finger in the hole hand motion.

"I guess so," you said.

Then just like that, you two got under the covers and began to have a little fun.

The Siege

June 17, 2565, 12:00 hours

The Badlands Equestria

After getting back from disabling the capital ships engines, you and the princesses made a plan. Now it is time to put that plan into motion. Even though it would take two weeks to repair the damage to the engines and the outer hull, you wanted to finish the fight. So now a huge attack force is setting up, and you get to help lead it.

"Okay everyone listen up," You said. "Here is the plan. We have one klick between us and them. They have a bunch of Scorpion and Kodiak tanks lining their side that will fuck our shit up if we get hit. So, what we are doing is that the unicorns will have point. They will use spells to put up shields to stop bullets, shells, and rockets. The Earth ponies will be behind the unicorns killing any hostile that gets to close and helping the others advance. The pegasi will fly ahead taking out the tanks."

"What if we die?" A soldier nervously asked.

"Well then you die for a good cause."

"How many of us will die," Another soldier said

"Most of you will die. The odds are close to impossible. But we have no choice."

"Don't you have a choice?" A female guard asked. "You are a human like them?"

"I may be the same race, but they are going AWOL, attacking us for no reason. Without even declaring war. They attack civilians for what, a weapon that would be built in bloodshed?"

"I see your point," She said.

"All right then. We attack in 15 minutes get ready."

You proceeded to check your gear. Sniper Rifle. Check. Ammo. Check. Grenades. Check. Combat Knife. Check. You were ready to go. Luna tapped you on the shoulder.

"Yes dear" you said.

"First, don't say yes dear. It sounds weird when you say that," She said.

"Okay."

"Second," She said, then kissed you full on the lips.

"Thanks," you said. "I needed that."

"It must be hard for you to fight your own species," She said

You shrugged your shoulders. "I've done it before, fighting Insurrectionists."

"But these people were once on your side."

"So? They attacked my new home without mercy. Why would I give them anything different."

"I see your point."

You stood up. "Be careful, these guys will probably go for you and Celestia first."

"Don't worry," Luna said drawing her sword. "I got it all covered."

"Good," You said. You walked outside the tent set up. "Alright everybody, let's do this!" you yelled.

The attack force began moving forward. There was not action for the first thirty minutes other than a few Kodiak shells exploding. But soon the enemy began raining fire. The unicorns put up their barriers, but some failed to do so. You kept shooting at the enemy, each shot being a kill. But then the enemy flanked the attack force with hellbringers.

"Hit them with fire spells," you heard Celestia shout from the battlefield. When the unicorns did so, causing the hellbringers napalm-oxide tanks to explode. You were closing in on the first enemy fortification. They were resorting to CQC now because you were too close. You heard a rocket being fired in your direction, and a shield went up. You turned to see who fired the rocket, but he was headless, with Luna standing by him. You gave her a thumbs up. Soon the first fortification was yours. You, Luna, and Celestia met up near the center.

"How many casualties did you suffer?" Celestia asked you and Luna.

"Not many," You both said at the same time.

"Make sure to send our wounded back to our base." You said

"When should we attack the next fortification?" Luna asked.

"Let's get our troops to regroup first," you said.

You walked over to the side of the fortifications that was facing the other. You looked through your scope and saw that they were dug in well. They had a lot of snipers. That was a problem. You panned your crosshairs on top of one of their heads and pulled the trigger. You did the same thing, until there were no more snipers. The enemy artillery was still firing, so the pegasi haven't dealt with that yet.

"Okay everyone, break is over," you said. "The enemy are more dug in over there, so it will be harder to take. But we can do it."

You and you army began to move forward. But about halfway there, you heard an explosion come from your left side. You ran over to see what happened.

"He just blew up sir," A solider said. You looked over at the dead one and his body was all dismembered. It was bloody. You looked over where his hoof was and saw the remains of an anti-infantry land mine.

"Land mines. Fuck," you said. "Is there a type of spell that can detect stuff," you asked the soldier.

"Yes sir," she said nervously.

"Can you do it?"

"No, I'm not strong enough."

"Okay. Thanks for your help."

You ran over to Celestia, who what the closest

"Hey," you said. "Do you know any detection spell? Because we kind of have a land mine problem."

"Yeah, I know a spell or two," Celestia said, her horn glowing. Then all the trip mines came out from the ground and were thrown at the fortification you where assaulting.

"Okay, that solves that," you said.

You and your army continued the assault. The land mines did a decent amount of damage. Everything was looking good, until you saw a few bodies fly by behind you. You turned around and saw the very thing that could mess up this assault.

You were looking at a Spartan.

You fired a few shots, but they were deflected by his energy shield. He fired back, but you took cover. But he used his strength to tear down that cover and picked you up by throat."

"You're a traitor!" He yelled at you.

"At least I followed orders," You said gasping for air. That only caused him to growl at you. You knew he was only trying to scare you. You were reaching for his hip gun clam, where a plasma pistol rested.

"You will fight your own people for what, these pathetic un-advanced horse-people?" The spartan said.

"No, I will fight my own race to defend those who can't, to uphold my position as a reclaimer. You shouldn't be doing this."

"Good soldiers follow orders."

"Then your definition of a good soldier, is different than mine." You drew his pistol, charged it up, and send a bolt flying at him. It took his shields off-line, and he let go of you. You took out your rifle, and fired a shot at his head, killing him.

"y/n, who are these guys!" You heard Luna yell. You ran over to where she was and helped her up.

"They are Spartans, genetically engineered super soldiers. You can't kill them until their energy shields are off-line," you told her.

"Would a lightning spell do the trick?" She asked.

"Yeah, that should wo-"

You were then rammed into by one of the Spartans, sending you flying.

"Ow," you said when hitting the ground. Luna was already fighting him off and was doing well.

You turned around and saw that another Spartan was rushing at you. You tried to do a back-flip over him, but he grabbed you, and threw you to the ground.

"I need a concussion check," you said to yourself while getting up. You charged your plasma pistol, but he knocked it out of your hand.

"No cheating," He said. You drew your knife.

He began to swing at you, and you dodged his attacks waiting for an opening. It did not come, and he knocked you to the floor.

"Game over," He said. "Should have fought for the right side"

You just looked at him and threw your knife into his visor, somehow ignoring his shields and killing him. You took your knife out of his head, but then you felt a sharp pain in your chest, causing you to cough blood. You turned around and saw that another Spartan had stabbed you with his sword. You retaliated and sent your knife through his head as well. The world was fading, and you fell to the ground. Then everything was gone.

Luna's Point of View

Luna had just finished off the Spartan she was dealing with. He had fought well but could not overcome her. She then looked to the side and saw y/n fall to the ground.

"y/n, no!" She yelled running over to him. She tried to find a breath, a pulse, anything. But she found nothing.

"Please don't die on me," Luna said, tears streaming down her eyes. "Please don't die."

But he didn't get up, no matter how hard Luna pleaded, he wouldn't get up. She clenched he sword hard in her fist and stood up.

"She looks mad," a Spartan said to another. Luna looked at them, her eyes glowing white.

"You all will perish for what you have done!" Luna said to them. Her sword was glowing violently red, representing her rage.

"Aww, it the little girl mad," The other Spartan said before losing his limbs and head. Luna then cut down the next, and the next. The enemy tried to run, but they were no match to her rage. Every single one of them would meet a death at her blade, and nothing could stop her. One by one, they were cut down. Went she was done, she went back over to y/n's body, rested her head on it, and began to sob loudly. Celestia walked over to try to comfort her sister.

"Luna, It's okay," Celestia said.

"It's not okay Tia, I could of save him," Luna said, crying even louder. "Is this my curse? Do I lose the things I love the most? Am I not allowed to be loved?" Luna began crying so much, that Celestia couldn't even talk to her, and just stood there.

Unknown time

Unknown place

"What happened," you said getting up. You were in a white room, probably a void. "Where am I?"

"You are dead," A voice sad.

"Can you put that on a memo and title it 'shit that I already know," you said. "I want to know where am I."

"You are in the crossing point between being physical and being a part of Precursor Neural Physics."

"I can't stay."

"It is not a choice. You died."

"But you said I am not in the afterlife yet."

"Well yes but-"

"So, there is still a chance."

"You are not attached to your body anymore"

You began to sense sadness. Luna sadness. She thought you were dead.

"I'm still somewhat alive......"

"No, you are not."

"Then how come I still sense something only my physical body could?"

"How can this be?"

"I don't know. Please help me live. I have to uphold the Mantle of Responsibility."

"Fine then. I will try. Prepare yourself."

You felt a horrible pain, unimaginable by most. You began to feel your physical body again.

You shot up coughing a lot.

"y/n! Your alive!" Luna said hugging you. "I thought I lost you." She was crying tears of joy.

"Well, you did, but our connection, allowed me to come back," you said, hugging her back. After that, you saw that your chest was healed to a point where you were barely alive.

"Let me fix that," Luna said, casting a spell on it.

After she was done, you stood up.

"Well," you said. "Let's finish the fight."

Well, sorry for the long wait, I was playing a lot of Equestria at War.....

If you want to know the technical reason on how y/n came back, I'll explain it.
So, Precursor Neural Physics is when something dies, it's neural capacity (brain function) becomes one with the fabric of existence. But Y/N brain wasn't fully dead due to his link with Luna, so the voice (a dead precursor) put him back in his body.

Kicking the Dead Capital Ship

June 17, 2565, 13:23 hours

The Badlands Equestria

Everyone was dying. You were so close to the capital ship. But once your enemy got their shit together, It was hopeless. They found out your plan. Your soldiers where spread too thin to give orders. You just kept shooting, killing your enemies, hoping for that one glimmer of hope. You had only a few mags left, and your knife was drenched in blood. Then you had a plan.

"FALL BACK!" You yelled.

"Sir, what about the objective?" A soldier asked.

"I have that covered, don't worry"

While all the guns where focused on the soldiers, you managed to flank them, and get into the vehicle bay of the ship. You had no heavy explosives, but a few well-placed grenades should do the job. Luckily, there was an armory nearby. You crept behind the tanks and got on to the main part of the ship. You had studied the schematics and knew where you were going. You headed over to the engine room first. You found the thing that disperses the power (I do not know what it is called.) and kicked it. A lot. When it broke, all the lights went off. You turned on your thermal vision and when towards the reactor room. It was way easier moving forward with the security cameras offline you eventually got there and then you realized your mistake. With the power off, how where you supposed to open the vents to destroy it. You sat there frustrated. Then Luna teleported to you.

"Hello," She said

"What? How?" You stammered.

"Apparently I can teleport to you."

"That's cool. Can you help me move these?"

"How do I do that?"

"With magic."

"No shit, but they look stuck pretty tight."

"Don't you have a moving spell?"

"Uh, no."

"Well. That's bad."

"Hold on, I may have something." She stepped back and her horn began to glow, as her eyes went black. Black tendrils came from the ground and grabbed on to the shafts covering the vents and pulled them off. The vents where wide open. You began to throw grenades into them causing them to explode. When Luna was done, she fell to the floor. You ran right to her.

"Luna are you okay?" You asked.

"Yeah, just tried," She responded.

"I guess I have to carry you." You picked her up. "Can you still do one more spell?"

"Yep," She said. Her horn began to glow, and you teleported outside of the blast radius. You turned around and saw the ship explode into a million pieces. You had won. But something didn't feel right. Then you got a transmission on your comms.

"Is this y/n," The person said. He sounded familiar.

"Yes, this is him," You said back.

"I am the captain of the ship you just blew up. You better surrender immediately. Or else."

"Or else what?"

"We currently have a few capital ships about to be arriving in orbit, and a NOVA bomb planted in your capital. I will give you thirty minutes to make your decision."

"What is all that about?" Celestia said.

"We have thirty minutes to decide if we should surrender or not. He has a NOVA bomb planted over at Canterlot," You informed, fiddling with your helmet.

"What is a NOVA bomb?" Luna asked.

"It's a nuclear warhead with the ability to destroy planets. It has the nick name 'planet killer" You managed to pull your comms out of your helmet. "Now that he is not listening, lets come up with a plan to stop it."

"Listening? Who was listening?" Celestia said.

"The dude on the comms. He has access to it."

"How?"

"It is UNSC standard equipment, and he has the ability to regulate it."

"That makes sense."

"Yeah. Now back to the plan. A few capital ships will be arriving. But they will be out of range of the blast radius. So, if we move the NOVA bomb over to them, then we would be out of the blast radius. But we would have to move the moon and the sun first."

"Okay, but can we teleport things that far?" Luna asked.

"Well, most likely if you get the other two alicorns to help you."

"Okay, I will get them," Celestia said, teleporting away.

"Come on, let's find that bomb," Luna said holding your hand. You both teleported to the city. It didn't take you long to find it. You didn't dare touch it. You knew how destructive it is, and you didn't want to detonate it on accident. The other three princesses arrived.

"I filled them in on the details," Celestia said.

"Okay then, I'll just step to the side, and let you all do your thing," you said, moving out of the way. All of their horns began to glow, and the bomb vanished. You looked up and saw a huge explosion, that destroyed everything it touched. After a bit, it dissipated.

"Is that it?" Luna said. "Did we win?"

"Yes. We won. It's over," you said, hugging her. Then a distress signal popped up, in the city. "And I just found the captain."

It wasn't that far away, only just a block. As you neared it, you saw a drop pod. You opened it up and saw the captain inside. You threw him out of the pod.

"Do what you want with him," you said to the princesses.

They just looked at him. He tried to get up and run, but Luna put her foot on him. Then Celestia swung her hammer right on top of his head.

"Come on," Celestia said. "Let's go tell the soldiers that it is over."

Luna grabbed your hand and teleported you to the fortification where the soldiers where at.

"Can I have everyone's attention," you said causing all of the soldiers to look at you. "The war is over, we have won."

The area began to be filled with cheers. Helmets were thrown up in the air, people where hugging each other. Luna walked over and you two began to make out.

"I'm glad we were able to save everything," She said to you.

"Yeah. And I'm glad I got to be here and find you," You said, and you two continued kissing.

Well, I apologize for the late update. I have been so busy lately, and my brain had no ideas for this chapter. I am sorry. I hope you all have stuck with me through out this time. I hope you all are doing well. Anyway, the story is almost finished, with about two more chapter before the story is finished. I will write a sequel, eventually. Have a good day or night every pony.

Safe Again

June 18, 2565, 19:05 hours

Canterlot Castle, Equestria

Well. You had done it. You help won the war. There was supposed to be a party to celebrate in an hour, but you felt it was wrong to celebrate victories that came at such a high cost. So many of your soldiers died. You felt terrible, even though you could have done nothing to save them. So many families without a father or a mother. But you know they made the ultimate sacrifice, because everyone would have died without them. You heard a knock on the door, and Luna came in the room.

"Hey," you said.

"You should be getting ready," she said back.

"I can't go."

"What? Why not?"

"Because I just feel that it’s wrong."

"How? We won; shouldn't we be able to celebrate."

"I just can't. While we won, we lost so many lives"

"But if we didn't-"

"-We would all be dead, I know. I have just seen so much of war and my brothers in arms, my friends die in the masses, and I always feel deep down I could have done something."

Luna reached over and hugged you. "You don't have to be sad all of the time, you can be happy."

"I am happy, but I just don't feel that is right."

"Can you at least come for the sake of being with me, cause you and I both know this party is for political reasons. And it would be weird if the moon princess didn't show up with her husband."

"I hate the press sometimes."

"I don't blame you."

"Fine, I'll come, but only for you"

"And we can have a little fun afterwards."

You began to look for some nice clothes. You also began thinking about a speech, because you know you were going to be asked to give one. You did lead the battle after all. Once you were ready, you and Luna left for the party. Entering was not fun. You thought Humans where bad with cameras. At least theirs didn't have flashes on them. You were literally blinded by all the cameras going off. So much for laying low. You and Luna managed to get through the crowd and find Celestia.

"Hey y/n, you might have to do a speech," She said as you walked up

"Knew it," you said.

"Well, the event is going to start," Celestia said, going near the stage. "May I have everyponies attention." She said one on the stage. "As you know, there was an attack on us from a rouge human ship. But we luckily defeated them, under the command of y/n. He has a few words to say."

You stepped up to the stage, and as you did, there were cheers. Once they calmed down, you began to talk. "Hello everyone. As Celestia said, I lead the battle against the rouge humans. You may think I am the hero, but that is not the case. The commander is never the true hero. The true heroes where those who lost their lives at the battle, the ones who gave everything they had, to make sure we could carry on. Without them, we would have lost. We wouldn't be able to move forward or be victorious without them. So, I would like you to not thank me, but thank those who gave it all for their home."

The room was quiet. It seems your speech had an impact on them. You didn't know if you should step down or stay there. Then the room started applauding. You then stepped down the stage. The party was uneventful. You ate, drank, talked, and answered questions for reporters. The only interesting question was at the end.

"Excuse me sir," a reporter said. "Would you mind answering a few questions?"

"Yeah, what is it?"

"What is it like being married to a princess?"

"Nothing special"

"What?!? How is it not special?"

"By that, I meant it’s not any different from a normal relationship. You all see the princesses as beings you should bow to. But that's not what they are. They are like normal people too."

"I never thought of it that way"

After that conversion you went back to your room. Luna decided to stay back a bit and help clean up. You felt like that was more of a long ass conversation than party. If Pinkie was there, it may have been interesting. You sat on you bed and decided to change into your casual clothes. You sat the desk, drawing something. You were somehow good at it, but it was probably due to that you can hold a sniper rifle steady. You were drawing for 30 minutes before Luna came in.

"Hey," She said. "What are you drawing."

On your paper was a sketch of Earth, with the new UNSC home fleet.

"Just was drawing home," you said.

"Isn't this your home?"

"It is now. But I can't forget where I came from."

"I wish we could go there one day."

"Yeah. But Humanity will have changed very much before the Equestrian's reach the stars."

"Well, you will be alive."

"But too much could change in that 700-year gap."

"Fair point. But what do you think will happen here?"

"I know how a lot of things work. I can help you all advance a decent rate."

She kisses you. "I love you."

"I love you too." you walked over and lied down on your bed, and Luna joined with.

"Why did they attack?" She asked

"The one thing that you all fail to understand. This world is almost too perfect. Everyone is happy. There are no pessimists, only optimism exists. No one is out to get each other. I wish the whole universe could be like that. Then no bad stuff would happen. But there is always that one person, screwing everything up."

Luna hugged you. "Let’s just go to sleep. I bet your exhausted."

You hugged her back and fell asleep with her in your arms. Maybe the world was not so bad after all.

Sorry about anther delay. Lacrosse season has been starting up, and I have been sleeping too much cause of it. But I finally got another chapter out. Thank you all for staying with me.

Epilogue

June 19, 2565, 11:04 hours

In a clearing, Equestria

You were standing on the edge of a cliff. You looked up at the sky. After everything you have been through, the slaughter you have seen. The bodies dropping to the floor after the pull of the trigger. Losing your friends. But that was all done. You were done with it all. Your whole life had been centered around taking it all away from others. You had no joy. You just had orders. All your joy died anyway, at the end of someone else's rifle. When you came here, seeing all the happy people, without a single worry. Everyone should be able to live like that. You felt that something was off with this place, but deep down, the thing that was off was you. Then when you got into a relationship with Luna, you saw that you could care. That you should care. Everyone here cared about you so much, even though all they knew was that you were a guy whose job was to kill. They still didn't turn you down. But when then then the rouge O.N.I spooks came, that changed everything. No one here knew what their deal was. But you didn't blame them. They could have just talked out everything peacefully, without a problem. But they attacked you for whatever reason. Defeating them was difficult, but it was done. It had to be. You pulled you dog tags off your neck and wrapped your broken UNSC locator in it. Today was the start of a new day for you. All the pain and hate you have, is gone. You had fought and "died" for humanity. Now it was time to live peacefully. You threw the tags and locator as far off the cliff as you could and walked away. A new chapter in your life begins. One that is fun and happy. No violence. No killing. Only peace. As you walked away, there was a rock with a combat knife sticking out of it. Engraved in the rock were the words "Here lies y/n's hate, fear, and pain."

Part 2: The Bugs of Fire

April 8, 2565, 07:07 hours

to the east of an small village

After being locked away for so long, an angry Changeling Queen, unknown to most, escapes her prison. Her name was Queen Infernonia, and after being stuck under a volcano for three thousand years, being able to escape, but having to wait for her hive to evolve her fire proof traits so they could swim under the lava, has made her angry, horny, and hungry. Luckily for her, there was a small village nearby.

"Soldiers of the hive," She commanded her troops. "Do you see that village over there? I can sense all the love that the ponies there produce. You know what to do. ATTACK!!!"

The next thing the unfortunate people living in the village saw was swarms of Changelings approach them. But what scared them the most was there coloring. Instead of having the turquoise or teal hair coloring, it was lava orange. Some of the people thought it mean the where just stronger variants of the other coloration. As the changelings began attacking people, one manages to escape to set off the invasion air-horn, hopeful that the Equestrian soldiers who heard it would get to the village in time. The poor guys hope was soon diminished as a changeling burst through the door and dragged him away.

April 8, 2565, 08:59 hours

at the small village

A group of seven soldiers sprinted towards the direction they heard the invasion horn. But when they got there, it was too late. One luckily saw the group of changelings fly away.

"Thousand Cyclones, come here," the CO (commanding officer) said to one of his men. "Fly as fast as you can to the castle and alert one of the Princesses that the Inferno Hive is back."

Unfortunately, this means a specOps sniper that came to this world recently, he must help stop a hive of Changelings, or he will see why this world is so peaceful.

Because the wars are so bad.
