While on a pelican drop ship, a human marine sniper crashes on a unknown world near the Pleiades Nebula. After being saved by a unknown race of humanoid horse-people, and eventually falling in love with one, they try to teach him how to live in the magical land of Equestria. But in the Halo universe, nothing is safe from ONI's watchful eye, not even a place almost impossible to get to.
