Somewhere In A Forest, Equestria

"That's bad, really bad," You said to Shinning Armor as you looked at the huge pillar of fire in the sky. The reason you were out there? Earlier that evening you and Luna saw a slip space rupture, and out of it came a Covenant Capital ship came. You immediately went on high alert, and within thirty minutes, a scout team of the best soldiers in the Equestrian military and with you in charge, was created.

"What it so bad about it?" Shinning asked. "I only see the crashed ship."

"I have the sniper scope so I can see farther," you said. "Also, these are hostiles, not friendlies."

"What makes you say that? A unicorn soldier named Fierce Javelin said.

"You may not be able to see it, but they are wearing rugged red armor that probably would give Rarity a heart attack," you said, as the soldiers laughed knowing how true that was. "That means they are a part of the power-hungry faction called The Banished, and they would not hesitate to fucking destroy everything here."

"That's why you said it was bad," Shinning said. "Yep," you said. "But, looking at their sublight engines, it looks like it was nailed with a MAC round, but the escaped to Slipspace. But when they hit the slipspace anomaly, due to their engines being heavily damage, couldn't stabilize, and they came falling on this lovely planet. Hopefully only a few of them survived landfall."

"So, do we just go back and report it to the Princesses?" Fierce Javelin said. "

"You won't have to," you heard a voice behind you say. When you turned around, you saw Celestia standing there in combat armor.

"What the hell are you doing here?" you said.

"Oh please," Celestia said. "Like I was going to let you have all the fun."

"So, you enjoy combat," you said. "Okay, you can help but don't come crying to me when you get you royal ass kicked by these alien bastards."

"You won't hear any of that type of BS from me," Celestia said.

"It's nice and all that your helping Princess, but what's the plan?" Shinning Armor asked.

"That is for y/n to decide," she said.

"So here is the plan," you started.

April 4, 2565, 02:57 hours

Somewhere In A Forest, Equestria

You where enacting your part of the plan. You were supposed to provide covering fire for Celestia. She was supposed to give the Banished elites a chance to surrender, but if they didn't, she would kill them.

"Hello," Celestia said to them. The elites picked up their plasma rifles and a Zealot drew his energy sword. "You have rudely invaded our planet," Celestia said. "I am giving you all a change to surrender and come to a peaceful agreement, or to die."

"Your planet?" The Zealot said. "Not for long."

"So, I see you all want to do the hard way," Celestia said as she drew her weapon of choice, which was a smoldering combat mallet. "So be it."

Then she hit the hammer on the floor sending a huge wave of fire at them, incinerating them before they could react. Then a brute chieftain thought his gravity hammer was better and decided to engage Celestia in combat. The brute swung his hammer at her, but she ducked and the retaliated and hit him straight up in the face. But after that she was blindsided by another brute, sending her flying and causing her face to bleed. As three brutes walked up to her ready to finish her off, you pulled the trigger on your rifle, sending the bullet through all three of them. You walked over to Celestia and helped her up. She had a huge gash on the left side of her face.

"You OK?" you asked.

"Just a scratch, I'll be fine," She said. You heard the yelling of the rest of the brutes and enacted the rest of your plan. The other soldiers were supposed to set up explosives to kill the rest. You shot you rifle to kill a few more of them as you and Celestia ran to lure them towards the explosives. When they got to a certain point all the explosives went off, killing the rest of the Banished soldiers.

"You did one hell of a job with the explosives," you told Shinning Armor.

"Thanks," He said back.

"Let's get back to the castle," Celestia said. "I need to get my face fixed up before I have to raise the sun."

"Wow," Shinning said to you. "She did get her royal ass kicked."

"Yep," you said back.

April 4, 2565, 05:57 hours

Canterlot Castle, Equestria

"Are you sure you're okay?" Luna asked her sister, worried about her condition.

"I'm fine Luna," Celestia said while a doctor was working on her face. "It is just a scratch."

"This so called 'scratch' you got would have been lethal to most humans," you said.

"Tia, are you one hundred percent sure that you are fine?" Luna asked again.

"Yes Luna, I am one hundred percent sure I am fine," Celestia said. "I just need my face to be fixed up." You decided to leave before things got tense in there. You had a [brother/sister], so you knew how sibling relationships are, and how getting caught in the middle of one of their fight will not be fortunate for you. Luna eventually came out of the room.

"So, how did that go?" You asked. "We didn't argue that much," Luna said. "But that was probably because the doctor was in the room."

"You guys don't seem to argue much at all," You said.

"It may seem that way, but we argue just as much as any other group of siblings would," Luna said. "It's just we do it in private." You went outside, and Luna caught up to you. "Where are you going y/n?" Luna asked. "Outside," you said.

"To see the sun rise. It reminds me of my father, who passed away."

"Oh," Luna said. "I'm sorry." She hugged you and you hugged her back.

"It's fine," you said. "After a while, you get used to it. But I still like to watch the sun rise every now and then, just to honor him in some way."

"But what is so special about the sun rising," Luna asked. "When I was young, on weekend mornings, he would get me up early to watch the sun rise. At the time, I thought it was the most beautiful time of day."

"On Earth do you have people who are basically gods who raise the sun and moon?" Luna asked.

"No, at the center of Sol, we have are sun, respectively named Sol, that Earth orbits around, and Earth turning is what creates day, and the moon, named Luna as well, orbits Earth, and when we are not facing the sun in our spin cycle, we are facing the moon," you said. "But anyway, would you like to join me for breakfast?"

"You breakfast, my dinner,'" Luna said as you walked to the kitchen.
