Twilight walked through what looked like it was once town square. Ashes and skeletons were everywhere. Just when she thought there was no hope there, she spotted a hut outside an apple tree orchard.
She walked into the orchard and noticed that the trees were being taken care of by someone who had her back turned. The girl was wearing a long brown duster, a stetson hat and leather boots. She also had a sword and a crossbow attached to her back. Nothing more could be seen from Twilight's perspective.

"Hello?" Twilight said walking up to the girl.

The farmer flinched and turned around with her hand on the sword's handle. Twilight reacted on instinct and pulled out two of her daggers and took a defensive stance. The farmer let go of the sword and help up her hands to show she meant no harm.

"Sorry Ah scared ya sugarcube. Ah jus' reacted on instinct." she said with a southern accent.

Twilight acknowledged it and put away the daggers.

"Is this your farm?" she asked curiously.

"Well yes, but actually no. It belongs to the family." the farmer answered.

"Oh, how rude of me. I didn't even introduce myself. My name is Twilight Sparkle." Twilight said.

"Howdy Twilight. The name is Applejack." the farmer said while tipping her hat to Twilight.

Just as Twilight was about say something, she was cut off by a rustle coming from a nearby bush.

Both girls reacted on instinct by pulling out a weapon and entering a defensive position. The bush gave another rustle before a figure emerged. She was wearing black and grey clothes, a belt with a sickle, knives and push daggers attached to it as well as a sword on her back. The most eye-catching detail however was the rainbow coloured hair. When she saw them with weapons drawn, she pulled out her own sword and went in for an attack. Applejack stepped in front of Twilight and just a second later the two swords clashed. They recoiled and the rainbow haired one went for another attack. The swords clashed over and over again, but they couldn't get an opening on either side. suddenly the rainbow haired one felt a chain wrap around her ankle and before she knew it the chain gave a strong tug and dragged her off balance, making her fall to the ground.
When she opened her eyes she saw both girls standing over her with one of them holding a kusarigama with the chain around her ankle.

"Okay you beat me. What do you want?" the rainbow haired girl said.

"We want to know two things. One: what is your name?" Twilight said.

"My name is Rainbow Dash." was the answer from the girl now known as Rainbow Dash.

"What are you doing here?" Applejack asked.

"Rumors said that there were survivors from the war here. Now can you let go of my ankle please?" Rainbow Dash answered.

Twilight bent over and uncurled the chain and took a few steps back as Rainbow Dash got to her feet and put the sword back in the scabbard on her back.
Just as she was about to say something an ax came flying past them and hit in a tree. When they looked back to where the ax came from, they saw a girl with straight silky pink hair jump out with another ax in her hand.

"I heard fighting! Where is the changeling?" she said out loud.

"There is no changeling. It was a misunderstanding." Twilight explained.

"Oh....okay then." the girl said as she pulled her ax out of the tree and attached both to her belt. "Anyway, my name is Pinkamena, my full name is Pinkamena Diane Pie. And if you want it short its Pinkie Pie. What's your names?"

"Howdy Pinkamena. Ah'm Applejack."

"My name is Twilight Sparkle."

"The name is Rainbow Dash."

"Pleased to meet you. Anyway, there are two other girls in town, if you can even call it a town anymore." Pinkamena said. "One I saw by a cottage outside the forest. The other one was walking around town square."

"Fluttershy is the name of the one by the cottage." Applejack said. "Ah've met her a few times before."

"Should we go find them?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"The bigger the group is, the bigger the chance of survival is." Twilight answered with a shrug.

"We're going to be a group?! This day is just getting better and better!!" Pinkamena said with a jump. The rest of them could swear that they saw her hair briefly became a lighter shade of pink.

"Don't get your hopes up. Just because we're sticking together doesn't mean we're friends. Especially you!" Rainbow Dash said as she pointed at Applejack.

"Hey! Yer the one who attacked first!" Applejack shot back with an angry glare. She and Rainbow Dash stared at each other with such intensity that you could almost swear there were sparks of electricity colliding between their foreheads.

"Can we go now?" Pinkamena whispered to Twilight.

"Not unless you know how to get those two to calm down." Twilight whispered back.

That brought a smirk onto Pinkamena's face.

"Trust me. I know how to handle this." she said with a wink and turned towards the two rivals and shouted...

"GET A ROOM!!!"

Applejack and Rainbow Dash registered the words quickly and pulled away from each other immediately. Their faces turning cherry red.

"That was NOT funny!!!" Rainbow Dash shouted.

"For once I agree with her!" Applejack added.

"It was so that we could finally get a move on." Pinkamena answered crossing her arms.

"Maybe next time do something different?!" Rainbow Dash fumed.

"Hey! Are you three done? I don't think we have all day." Twilight said while looking up at the sky where the sun and moon were visible. Ever since Daybreaker and Nightmare Moon were defeated both the sun and moon were up in the sky and nobody could do anything about it.

"You heard her! LET'S GO!!!" Pinkamena shouted as she walked up to Twilight with Applejack and Rainbow Dash walking behind them glaring daggers at each other.
