It was dusk, Celestia's sun lowered while Luna's moon rose into the sky, the Mane 6 and Spike, along with every pony of Ponyville was gathering out in the fields and hills for a special night, Luna was going to create something in the night sky that will take ponies' breath away, or so she said.

"Oooo! I'm so excited!" Pinkie yelled, cartwheeling all over the place, "I can't wait to see what Princess Luna's gonna do!"

"Darling, we're all excited, so please calm down." Rarity said gently placing down a blanket, followed by Spike and Fluttershy placing down the snakes and drinks, which Rainbow Dash immediately helped herself too.

"Sugercube, don't eat everything, the show hasn't even started yet," Applejack said while pulling the speedster Pegasus away from the food.

"I'm Carboloading! I wanna see if I can outrace the stars!" Rainbow said with bits of food dropping from her mouth, much to the disgust of Rarity.

Applejack raised an eyebrow before saying, "The hay are you talking about?"

"She's talking about what Princess Luna's gonna do, she saw the message Princess Celestia sent me, Princess Luna plans to create something called Star Fall." Twilight said before looking into the sky and gasping, "It's starting!"

Ponies looked into the sky to see millions of once stationary stars now shooting across the sky, a wave of 'Ooo's and 'Ahh's came from the ponies, Rainbow tried to take flight but quickly found that Applejack had tied her down.

At Canterlot Castle, Luna was in a state of meditation on her balcony, she was focusing on the stars rained down but also keeping them from getting too close to the planet, Celestia walked up to her, being careful not to break her focus and watched the event.

"Excellent work sister," Celestia whispered to not bother her sister, but suddenly she made a strained face, something was getting closer and closer by the second, and for some reason, the harder Luna pushed the closer it got. Then whatever Luna was sensing blasted into reality, it bore the shape of a crumbling ball falling from space, the ball, then Luna was blasted back from feeling the sheer force of the object breaking reality itself like glass, her horn blowing up in her face.

"Luna! Guards, get a doctor here then have other Guards warn the townsponies to go inside! I want everypony to be indoors! I'll be here with Luna, so have the Pegasus Guards get the Elements of Harmony to Twilight and the others, they'll deal with whatever that object is! NOW GO!!" Celestia roared in the Royal Canterlot Voice, which was rare to see her use it, the guards saluted and bolted out of the room, Celestia looked at the falling ball as it landed deep in Everfree Forest, she could see large chunks had fallen off and landed in different parts of Equestria, one landing right on top of Rarity's Boutique.

At the impact crater, the ball crumbled away to reveal several humans and a lion or wolf-like beast, one who was in the center of the creator was a handsome young man with light skin and is of average height, with a lean and toned build, spiky blond hair that features one particularly long spike, and blue eyes. He wears indigo pants with a sleeveless shirt, a belt, brown boots, gauntlets with a pauldron over his left shoulder, a silver earring in his left ear, and a wristband in his left wrist. He also has a massive sword over five feet long strapped to his back. He was conscious but not enough to move.

'Alright, Cloud, gather your thoughts... What happened? You... You and others were fighting a Whisper Bahamut... What else... Sephiroth! He showed up! The real Sephiroth appeared after we beat it then... Everything went white... And-'

"Cloud, Wake Up!" A familiar female voice snapped Cloud out of his thoughts, causing him to open his eyes to see who was shouted his name, it was a young woman in her twenties with brown eyes and medium-length brown hair tied into a ponytail. She wears a red headband, a blue shirt underneath a metal breastplate, metal pauldrons, brown gloves, knee-length green capris, and armored boots.

"J-Jessie?" Cloud said with surprise in his voice, "But I saw you die, you were-"

"Dead?" Jessie interjected, "I thought so too, I saw a bright light at the end of a dark tunnel, then the next thing I know, I'm in this crater."

Then another person came into Cloud's view, it was a lean young man with swept-back brown hair and a bandana tied around his forehead. He wears an olive shirt and green three-quarter trousers, brown boots with silver fasteners around the ankle, brown gloves, and two belts: one black and one brown, the latter of which has a pouch on his left hip. "Same here, now get off your ass already." He said.

"Biggs?" Cloud said, his eyes widened as he stared at the too.

"The one and only friend, now you really should get up before-" Biggs was cut off by another person kicking Cloud's leg, it was a heavy-set, muscular dark-skinned man with a dirty brown vest, green pants, and large brown boots. His right arm was a gun-arm, which resembles a modern rotary-style machine gun, his hair is cut similar to a hi-top fade, visible chest hair, and he has a thick beard and a dog-tag around his neck, a round skull with extending wisps on his left shoulder, and he has three scars on his right cheek. He wears a dirty brown vest, a black tank under his vest, green pants, a leather bracer with small metal plates strapped on top of it, and large brown boots. He also wears a silver hoop earring in his left ear.

"Rise and shine, merc! We ain't got no time for sleeping beauties, here." the man yelled laughing as Cloud rubbed his leg, he walked away but Cloud quickly hooked the man's leg with his foot, causing him to trip and fall.

"Sorry, I don't play by your rules, Barret," Cloud said as he and Barret stood up before getting into the other's face.

"...... You able ta walk?" Barret asked with a stern face.

"Yeah, a little wobbly, but I'm fine," Cloud said, then another person handed him a green potion, the persona was a young woman with dark brown hair which falls below her waist and is tied at the tips to form a dolphin-tail split, red eyes, and a curvy and toned build. She wears a skirt with pleated segments and black shorts underneath, and a black sports bra under a white tank top. She also wears black leather gloves with metal plates on the back and knuckles, while an elbow pad on her left arm is been supplemented by a red-and-black leather vambrace. The red sections of her vambrace and the larger metal plates on the back of her gloves have runes engraved on them. She wears red boots with black stockings.

Cloud smiled and said, "Good to see your up Tifa, and thanks for the Elixer."

Tifa smiled as Cloud drank the Elixer down then she said, "Well, I'm happy to help, but two of us didn't come out in the most perfect of condition." Tifa looked over to two people and the lion or wolf-like beast.

One of the people was still moving and was a self-described as "roly-poly,". He has black hair held back with a red bandana and wears a beige shirt, blue shorts, brown boots, and shoulder pads, with a bandolier across his chest and grenades on the belt of his trousers. "Wedge, how are they doing?" Tifa asked.

"Well, Red XIII isn't keeping still enough to pull out the stick in his side and Aerith can't move a muscle." Wedge said.

Aerith was a young woman with long light brown hair is plaited with a large pink ribbon, within the ribbon, she keeps a White orb inside, segmented bangs that frame Aerith's face, and she has emerald green eyes. She wears a shin-length pink dress with a white diamond pattern and a white lace hem that buttons up the front, bolero jacket with zipper pockets, a belt at the bottom, brown boots, and metal bracers on her wrists and around the edges of her jacket sleeves, a flower necklace with a pearl in the center on a leather ribbon and the metal bracers were replaced by a trio of bracelets (gold, silver, and bronze). She also had a rod staff with runes engraved into it.

"I'm sorry... I kinda used all of my Mana to make that barrier that kept us from burning up upon entry, it took a lot out of me..." Aerith said with a weak voice.

Jessie patted her shoulder and said, "It's cool, you were the only one who wasn't getting suddenly brought back to life or knocked out from the G force. Ya did well." Aerith gave a warm smile.

Red XIII was a quadrupedal animal with dark red and orange fur and a thin brown mane. His right eye is scarred, and the remaining eye is ochre. He is adorned with a variety of beads, earrings, and feathers around his head, with golden pastern braces and brands on his legs. One of these brands is the roman numeral "XIII." He has a flaming tipped tail. Red XIII has black patterns on his legs and what appears to be face paint.

Red XIII gave a swift hiss and said, "Well you try having a stick lodged in your side, let's see how you act!"

Wedge raised his hands in defense and said, "Alright, I get it, we'll wait until Aerith can heal you, I just hope you two don't mind being carried."

Cloud looked at their weapons; Jessie had an SMG, Biggs had a Hand Cannon, and Wedge had a Grenade Launcher.

"Besides Jessie, Biggs, and Wedge. Looks like everyone got a downgrade with our weapons." Cloud said causing Barret to look at his gun-arm.

"Shit! And I worked hard to get the Gil for that fancy gun too! Doubt this one can handle my bigger moves than those newer ones could, gonna have to stick to my old classics." Barret said with a scowl.

Tifa looked at her gloves and said, "Ya got that right, as a matter of fact, I don't recall how to do most of my stronger moves."

Cloud thought for a second then said, "Same here, looks like our weapons weren't the only thing that was given a downgrade, no Materia either."

Barret rolled his shoulder then preformed a vertical leap without prep right out of the crater before jumping back down with a cocky smile and saying, "Still feel as strong as before though! Come On! Let's find a place to set up for the night!"

Barret picked up Aerith and had Red XIII put over his shoulder when he jumped back out, Tifa leaped out with Jessie in her arms, and Cloud had to take two trips for both Biggs and Wedge.

Red XIII then smelled the air, catching everyone's attention, "What's the matter with you?" Barret asked.

"I smell the scent of vegetables, rotting vegetables, there's a building nearby, most likely abandoned." Red XIII said.

Cloud said, "Still surprised I haven't seen Barret bear hug Jessie and Biggs yet."

Barret smiled and said, "Since I woke up before you, I gave these two the biggest bear hug I could muster!"

Jessie and Biggs rubbed their backs and scowled at Barret for their back pain as the group followed Red XIII's directions to the building.

Twilight and her friends were standing in front of the town hall, where inside the ponies of Ponyville were hiding, she and Rarity were working together to put up a magic barrier around the town hall and after it was finished, Twilight wiped the sweat off her forehead and said, "Phew, there, everypony is safe and sound."

Pinkie then spotted a Pegasus guard flying with a large box on his back, when he landed, he quickly opened the box to reveal the Elements of Harmony.

"Here you go, I need to get back to the Canterlot." the guard said, but before he could fly away, Twilight stopped him with a levitation spell.

"Hold on, has anything happened to the princess?" Twilight asked.

"Well, Princess Luna's horn was blown off after that falling ball entered Equestria, so that happened." the guard said, Twilight released him and let him leave, the Mane 6 equipped their Elements.

"I know a shortcut! Follow me!" Pinkie yelled and the others followed her, the path they took was both a shortcut and a path was Rarity wouldn't see what had landed on her boutique.
