chapter 9(300 sorrow's part three)-the siege of silent meadows

city of silent meadows-dungeons:

The dungeons of silent meadows where no prisoner ever see celestia's sun are dark and deep under the city keep and if you listen closely to the inner gates you can hear the tortured prisoners beg for mercy. And on this night a new prisoner will join the ranks of inmates a lone griffon from a clash in the everfree.

Outside the dungeons lord lone sword and pure dawn have a nice civil discussion about what happened in the forest.

"HAVE YOU LOST YOUR MIND!!". Lone sword yell at pure dawn and hit him in the gut with a wooden mace.

"Cough...cough i did what any pony would have done". Pure dawn said as he was coughing from the hit of the mace.

"That was not your call to make,you had your orders and you disobeyed them. Is this what they teach you in the order of that hypocritical princess celestia!". Lone sword yell at him again.

"DON'T TALK ABOUT HER LIKE THAT!". Pure dawn shouted at lone sword while turning his solar form on.

Lone sword watching him without even flinching about his solar form only looking at him like he his a colt in a tantrum, lone sword walk to him staring at the unicorn eyes,"you forget something pure dawn i am very old and i mastered the full powers of the umbral ponies and if keep acting like a pony that think he is some chosen hero then i will personally send that good for nothing princess your corpse".

While both ponies argue the griffon Tūval enter the room,"ah boss". She said to lone sword.

"Tūval i am in the middle of something i will talk to you when i am done". Lone sword said to his griffon second in command.

"Well i don't think this is something that can wait,you see a visitor came to here bringing information about the army of razor storm". Tūval said to her commander.

"I see well tell them to enter anything will help us at this point and maybe help us fix celestia's problem". Lone sword said as he went to sit on his chair.

"Funny that you mention celestia oh well no time like the present you can come in now princess". Tūval said to the door.

"Did you just say princess?". Lone sword asked her.

But an answer was not needed because when the door was opened princess celestia along side two of her solar guards have entered the room of lone sword. Upon seeing his princess and mentor he immediately bow to her, seeing pure dawn bowing to her only made lone sword roll his eyes with celestia one of her unicorn personal aid saw the eye roll and express his opinion on the matter.

"How dare you show such disrespect to your princess "earth pony". The unicorn said to lone sword.

Lone sword raising his eyebrow and to the unicorn he asked,"are you talking to me?".

"Yes you are the only earth pony here not to mention the fact that we have a griffon among us". The unicorn said with a disrespectful tone.

"Really now well this griffon his going to shove that nice horn of your up your". Before Tūval said the rest of her sentence she was stopped by lone sword.

Lone sword got up from his chair and went to the unicorn and said to him,"you have 10 seconds to apologize to that griffon starting now".

"I will never apologize to such barbaric specie like the griffons and i will not take orders from an earth pony either". The unicorn said to lone sword in the face.

Lone sword unfazed by the response of the unicorn just looking at him counting,"7...8...9...10 times up and you did not apologize".

"So what are you gonna do about it". The unicorn taunt lone sword.

Lone sword turn his back to the unicorn going to his lockbox opening it and grabbing something out of it then he started to talk to celestia while his back his still turn from them,"celestia do you know that for thousand years ponies develop alternative methods to utilize magic after the age of grogar".

"Yes but such methods are base on using dark magic there for are banned". Celestia said in respond to lone sword.

"Yes that is what the common belief but the real reason for that is that the once unicorns that ruled over the lands began to fear the idea that non spell casters such as earth ponies or pegasi will start to use them against unicorns similar to this".

After lone sword finish his sentence a dagger came out of nowhere and was jabbed in the unicorn's eye,"IT HURTS IT HURTS". The unicorn cry in pain.

"And you see celestia i mange to find numerous amount of such trinkets such as this one". Lone sword said as he turn around to face them.

On his neck was an amulet in shape of an alicorn only this one had bat like wings to it.

"Lone sword how did you came to possession of the alicorn amulet?". Celestia said with a small hit of anger.

"Close but far from it princess this is not an alicorn amulet this as you can see by its shape is a nightmare amulet crafted by the very pony that is named by nightmare moon". Lone sword told her while he was twisting the dagger in the unicorn eye.

"Lone sword you need to stop using that amulet or you will be consume by its power". Celestia warn the old earth pony.

"Unlike nightmare moon that fell to nightmare magic i will not let the amulet take over me,i came from the infamous umbral ponies and you can't corrupt something that is all ready corrupted". Lone sword said to celestia.

"And you unicorn you had several chances to apologize but your pride did all the talking and now i have to show you what happened to the ones that disobey the law of my city".

As lone sword said his words he pull out his dagger from the unicorn eye and went to his throat only to be stopped by a golden aura of magic that was belong to none other than celestia,she toss his dagger to the wall,"this is may be your city but this land is part of equestria and i will not let anything harm my ponies not even you". She said to him in her royal canterlot voice.

Many live their life knowing the kind side of celestia but few ever get to see the princess using such power only in her voice,to all that were in the room they showed some fear but not lone sword he just stare at celestia with rage,his eyes started to show some green and purple coloring in them similar to the tyrant of the crystal empire sombra.

"how dare you to use that spell in this place celestia if it was not for my ancestors showing you how to use it you and your sister would be under sombra's thrall". Lone sword said to her with a dark version of the royal canterlot voice.

"Hold on i hate to stop such argument but what are your ancestors have to do with sombra and celestia?". Tūval asked her boss.

"Since you asked my kind are close to sombra's kind we are all shadow ponies but like with normal ponies and the sub race of the bat ponies, sombra was an umbrum the high born of the umbral ponies but me and my ancestors are known as the austero ponies". Lone sword explain to the room.

"The austero i know that name they where the most cold hearted ponies to ever live but they were gone never to be seeing again". Pure dawn said to the room.

"Yes that is true but we did not gone we had a deal with celestia,we help her take down sombra and we get our personal land to call our new home. And so we did sombra was to strong for celestia so we did what we did best we stab him in the back with an anti magic dagger crafted to close all magic of the one that the dagger hit and then we got our home the city of silent meadows were my clan sleep till the call to war will come". Lone sword explain the deal his clan made with the princess.

"And the reason i am in rage at the princess is because she dare to use my ancestors spell on me forgetting that it will not work". Lone sword said with rage.

"You mean the royal canterlot voice?". Pure dawn asked.

"Yes but our name for it is the call of authority". Lone sword respond.

"I am sorry lone sword but this is important we got this note about the full force of razor storms army". Celestia said to the austero pony.

"Let me see that... Is this real more then 30000 force strong why did you not show me this before damn it, Tūval come with me we need to ready the city for siege we have five days to make this place stand for anything they will bring". Lone sword said to Tūval.

"Yes sir". She respond to him.

"Celestia can you bring any help from canterlot?". Pure dawn asked his mentor.

"The moment we got this note we began to mobilize an army from canterlot they will arrive in two days along some of the order strongest knights and paladins". Celestia said to her student.

"Good now if you excuse me i have a guest in my dungeons,celestia i don't have a spare room so you will sleep with pure dawn in his old room and pure dawn while i tend to my business you can show celestia around our city like the market or town square and even the brothels i am sure you two can find something to do their". Lone sword said to them and went to the dungeons.

Both pure dawn and celestia where standing alone with a blush on their faces and pure dawn asked asked her,"so where to first".

silent meadows-dungeons:

"I am not telling you ponies a damn thing!". The griffon yell at the interrogator as he was coughing blood from his mouth.

The griffon had both is back legs broken and every talon in his front legs broken all so,his wings were defeathered and he had several burn marks on his body. Some time later lone sword entered the dungeons and went to the griffon prisoner.

"Leave us now". Lone sword said to the interrogator.

The interrogator did as he was told and left the room,after some time lone sword began to unbind and start to talk to the prisoner.

"I must say you preformed better then i anticipated,oh and you can change back now". Lone sword said to the griffon.

The griffon started to smile and in a flash of magic the griffon was gone and in his place was changeling with four eyes and with a pale color body,"but of course you paid me for my top performance and so i did unlike the stupid hive infiltrators we independent changelings do not take orders from a hive and we adapt to what the job need us to do and i have to say this was one of the better jobs i got in a long time. Six years pretending to be a griffon getting all the info on razor storm's chain of command just like you pay me to do". The changeling said with pride.

"Good now lets get down to business,i have one more job for you but first do you have the info?'. Lone sword asked him.

"But of course all you need to know about your foes to the most personal matters". The changeling said with a smile.

"Good,Tūval give him his reward". Lone sword said to the young griffon.

From the shadow a brown griffon came with a treasure chest the changeling opened the chest but nothing was in it.

"What gives were is my reward?". The changeling asked in anger.

"The chest is for you just not in the way you think,do it". Lone sword said and after that in a second Tūval shot her quills at the changeling and in moments he was dead on the ground,she then put his body in the chest and told the guards to burn it outside the city.

"Now we can begin our preparations for the siege". Lone sword said as he left the dungeons.

silent meadows-streets:

The city was busy ever since the news of the coming griffon army to the city,everyone in the city contribute to the coming siege from storing food and weapons to fortified building and the walls.

And in the streets all of the town folk unlike in equestria carry a blade all of the city will fight to the last and among them pure dawn and celestia where walking and the princess saw all of the town preparing for war and she was proud of all of them different species coming together to defend their home, as they walk a young colt stood in their way looking at celestia with eyes so innocent and celestia with a smile reach out to him,"what can i do for you my little pony". She said to the colt.

The colt with a smile asked her,"will you help us defend our home from the griffons?". As the colt said it his mother came and grabbed him,"what did i told you about wandering of like that,i am sorry for troubling you princess". The colt's mother said to celestia. "No its no trouble i all ways have time for my little ponies and yes i will lead an army from canterlot to aid the city, silent meadows will not stand alone". Celestia said with pride in her voice and the town folk that heard all cheered for her.

"They have a lot of faith in you celestia if only you had showed such faith to luna she would have not come to me for power". A voice said to celestia in her mind.

Celestia started to show signs of distress,"princess are you ok?". Pure dawn asked her.

"Yes i am fine pure dawn just a small pain from stress that is all". She reply to him.

Having concern for his mentor health pure dawn used his magic to teleport her and him self to his room in the keep.

His room in the keep was simple it had a bed,window,table,chair,door and a bathtub.

"Ok princess you go rest for now i will ready a bath for you along side some food". Pure dawn said to her and went to get some food.

Celestia laid in bed her head started to get hotter every second and when she closed her eyes for a split second she started to see things she never saw before in her life,a vast land of tropical jungles and in those lands she saw huge cities that in each one was a strong amount of magic she never saw in her life but her vision was cut short and she was standing in some temple and in that temple she saw a black fat bloated toad sitting on a floating throne with its eyes closed. She came closer to the toad but some strong force stop her from coming closer and she started to hear a clearing of a throat.

"You wonder far from your world spawn of eques you being here is not part of our sun plaque prophesy we seek another child of the sun". The voice said to her with such force she could not stand anymore.

"Who said that please show yourself". Celestia said not being able to move.

"So long as you here you are a threat to the great plan i will send you back to your world and we will sleep till the sunset comes". The voice said to celestia.

"WHO ARE YOU". Celestia cry in pain.

Celestia then saw the eyes of the toad opened,"I AM KAR'PAD". And in a second celestia felt her mind was torn apart and she woke up from sleep screaming and full of sweat.

"Princess!...princess! Calm down you were just sleeping". Pure dawn said to her trying to calm her down.

Celestia slowly started to calm her eyes were red and her body was shaking none stop,"so much power if such things like him exists nothing will stop him". Celestia said to her self out loud and then she started to vomit on the floor.

"What are you talking about princess what things?". Pure dawn asked her.

Cleaning her face from the vomit she turn to him,"i don't know what to call his kind he only said his name "kar'pad" but what ever he is he has so much magic in him that if he wants he can destroy canterlot even equestria but he did not called me by name he called me spawn of eques". She explain to pure dawn.

"Hold on are you saying that his not from our world?". Pure dawn asked her.

"I don't know and to be honest i don't want to know". Celestia said to him with fear.

"Well forget it for now princess lets get you to the bath then we shell eat". Pure dawn said to celestia with a smile.

She smiled back to him and said,"i would like that".

As the days went and pass the town was getting stronger and stronger along side the reinforcement from equestrian army even if compere to the griffon army they are few they now had a chance to hold back the griffon tide of razor storm.

Inside pure dawn's room he and celestia were having one last dinner before the great battle.

"Princess can i tell you something". Pure dawn said to celestia.

"Pure dawn we know each other for a long time now you can call me celestia". She said to pure dawn while she was eating her food.

"Oh sorry princess...celestia i need to tell you i fear the coming battle if we don't win all you have worked for will be lost". He said to her with distress.

Celestia with a smile got up from her chair and went to pure dawn and hugged him,"i know you are afraid pure dawn i am all so afraid of whats to come but have faith my student for harmony will all ways wins over war and hate". She said to him to cheer him up from his distress.

Both of them smile to each other but then celestia grabbed him by the hoof,"now pure dawn come with me". She said to him a smile.

"Celestia where are we going?". Pure dawn asked her.

"Its our last night with each other and we are going to spend it... In bed". Celestia said to him with pure determination.

Pure dawn had a huge red blush on his face but that did not stop celestia as they got under the bed covers for the rest of the night.

the inevitable city-chaos wastes:

In the dark city of chaos in one of the dark towers a strange visitor showed up from nowhere a small unicorn that not match the color of the city this unicorn no this pony still had the color of hope on him and that started to attract unwanted guests of the deamonic kind to the tower.

Pure dawn started to wake up only to find him self in dark and cold place he went to the window and saw only madness.

Monsters like he never saw before,huge ponies with burning armor and more then two eyes and then he saw it a monster the size of a mountain holding an axe that can split a gate in half it had a lower body like a dragon but the upper body was like a very very ugly diamond dog. A long all of the monsters he saw a huge raven holding a long staff,then the raven turn his head to the tower but before he saw pure dawn something grabbed him from the window and put him in a small room.

"How...how you ponies mange to get to my tower ALL THE TIME!". A voice said from nowhere.

Pure dawn turn his head only to see a strange figure sitting on a chair with a book on his neck his face not visible and next to him are to pale skinny monsters with no eyes and four arms.

"Well care to explain how the warp you got in here before i will tear you apart limb from limb". The figure said to him.

Pure dawn started to feel like he is about to die from the amount of magic in the room then he remembered what celestia told him a few days ago.

"You...you are the one is name is kar'pad?". Pure dawn asked him.

"Kar'pad? Are all ponies are idiots or just you,do i look like a slann mage priest did i turn to a huge frog when i was telling my story". The figure asked him.

"So what shell i call you then?". Pure dawn asked him.

"The name is lore seeker and you pure dawn are the fourth pony to enter my tower and it starting to piss me off". Lore seeker said in anger.

"How do you know my name? And what other ponies mange to get here?". Pure dawn asked again.

"Questions questions only questions your kind have not trying to solve the problems alone all ways seek help that is why the old ones abandon the eques project". Lore seeker said to him.

"Fine i will answer your questions,first i know your name because i know everything about that little world of yours and second the other ponies that got to my tower in order are,a black mutant earth pony by the name of Doe-khar she is the child of one of my champions in your world and boy the things i told her no wonder she convinced that griffon to attack your city,the second was an abnormality of a pony becoming a human well that was my fault for burning that mirror world and all the souls in it to ash and cinders but she his safe somewhere in the Border Prince Confederacy and last was a purple alicorn named twilight sparkle or in other words your replacement under celestia hoof but don't worry that will not happened for like 360 years. You know her castle is in a town called ponyville what kind of stupid name is that i preferred its precursor the city of silent meadows". Lore seeker said with a crooked voice.

"WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT ANSWER ME NOW!". Pure dawn yelled at lore seeker with confusion and in the same time turning his solar form on.

But in seconds the solar form of pure dawn shatter and dark razor sharp tentacle grabbed him in his throat and lore seeker opened one of his hands and in his hand an eye opened and inside it was a view of celestia sleeping. "Tell me pony how many". Lore seeker asked pure dawn.

"How many "cough...cough" what?". Pure dawn asked him while he is coughing from the tentacle that strangling his neck.

"How many deamons will it take to rape the body,mind and soul of your beloved embodiment of the sun,a hundred?,a thousand?,a million!. Lore seeker said to him with a deep deamonic voice.

"Don't hurt her i beg you". Pure dawn said while blood was started to come out from his eyes from the pressure of the strangling.

"That is up to you my little pony". Lore seeker said closing the eye in his hand and calling off the tentacle,while pure dawn was coughing trying to get his breathing to focus lore seeker got up from chair and got something from his lockbox.

"This my puny pony is the offering pin its a very nasty trap i crafted,if you stab someone with this pin as long as their blood is in the pin they will never know peace but here's the catch you can only do it on the most purest of hearts,do this for me and celestia's soul will not be harmed do we have a deal". Lore seeker said to pure dawn handing him his hand.

Pure dawn was thinking about it for a moment but then remembered all the things celestia did for him,"deal". He said to lore seeker handing him his hoof.

They both shake hoof and hand in agreement,"good and now". Lore seeker said while he started to hold pure dawn's hoof with force that it started to bleed.

"get out of my tower!".

silent meadows-pure dawn's room:

Pure dawn woke up from his sleep full of sweat he was looking on the room and saw he is in silent meadows,"why am i full of sweat?". He asked him self.

Next to him on his bed was princess celestia starting to wake up after their night together,"morning pure dawn how are you feeling...pure dawn what happened to your neck?!". Celestia asked pure dawn with concern .

Pure dawn felt his neck and felt pain he then grabbed a mirror from next to the bed and saw his neck it was red full of small lacerations.

"I don't know i was sleeping and when i woke up it was there". Pure dawn explain to her.

"Well let me see if i can heal it". Celestia said to him.

When celestia came closer to him to see if she can heal the wound suddenly the door to pure dawn's room was open and a familiar griffon entered the room she was looking at pure dawn with a smile,"oh i sorry to interrupt you two while you both "ready your self for battle" but lord lone sword calling you to the walls so don't take to much time...and pure dawn you got something its a letter". Tūval said to them and give pure dawn his letter and she left the room.

Pure dawn opened the letter and in side it was a small black pin in the shape of a skull and next to it was the letter,"when the time comes you know what to do".

"When the time comes you know what to do?,who send it to you?". Celestia asked him.

"Doesn't say but lets forget that we need to go to the walls". Pure dawn reply to her.

Before they got up celestia held him with her magic,"you know we still have some few minutes". She said with a smile.

Pure dawn return a smile to her and said,"as you wish princess". And both of them enter under the bed covers.

the walls of silent meadows-noon:

The walls where full of militia guards with spears and halberds along side ballistas,archers and spell casters. On the center of the wall lone sword and Tūval were talking with the guards and sellswords,from nowhere in a flash celestia and pure dawn appeared next to them. Celestia was in her solar war armor with her sun spear next to her and her royal regalia of the sun,pure dawn was in his solar form with his two solar twin blades and solar armor,Tūval had her griffon quill armor and metal claws on her talons along side a hand crossbow to use with a short blade and last was merc the lone sword he had a set of armor that show true fear to his allies and enemies,the austero obsidian scale armor and his family heirloom the dual glaive of the austero clan the "shadow carver".

"Look all of you outside". Lone sword said to them.

They all looked and saw legions of griffons that cover every part of the land. And flaying to them was a griffon messenger that landed on top of the gate.

"I am here to bring lord razor storm demands:first you will stand down and join razor storm forces,second you will surrender all the ponies under celestia's command and last you will accept lord razor storm as your new ruler. So what is your answer bow or die". The griffon messenger said to lone sword.

Lone sword put on his neck the nightmare amulet and his eyes started to glow in green and purple and in loud angry voice he said to him,"I CHOSE VICTORY!". And he grabbed his glaive and in one swing he cut the head of the griffon messenger.

"Activate the magic shield,archers and ballistas ready to fire on my command,spell casters augment all the arrows they will shoot. Celestia order your heavy infantry to hold the streets along side the sellswords,your spell casters are stronger then my spell casters so order them to provide long rage spells when i tell you all so when i give the command give word to the pegasi skirmishers to take down their siege engines when they will be two busy trying to take the walls and this is important keep the celestial sunlight order from the battle, for now order them to be in the points of the city i told you about to reinforce the shield if they will breach the gates then and only then order only some of them to aid us and if both gates and shield will fall then order all of them to join us. Tūval i give you command on the sellswords along side their captains and when i give you the signal shoot this magic bolt arrow to the sky for our surprise to razor storm. Remember if we want any chance to win we need to hold the gate till midnight that is twelve hours to hold this gate when midnight comes celestia will bring out the moon and then the rest of the austero umbral blades will awake from their sleep in the city tombs after that not even the storm talons or even the bronze flame company will stop us. Is everything understood about the plan". Lone sword said to celestia,Tūval and the captains and soldiers of the militia and sellswords to make sure they understand the plan.

"UNDERSTOOD!". They all said together to him and went to their positions.

"Pure dawn i want you to stay with me in the front of the wall to provide sun spells against the dragons of the bronze flame company. I will all so will use the magic from the many magic tools i have but i need to save my magical strength till midnight then i will use my austero powers. Can i count on you on this?". Lone sword asked him.

"Of course i will i am maybe part of an equestrian knight order but i am a silent meadows pony first, STAND AGAINST ONE OF US!". Pure dawn said to lone sword.

Lone sword then smile to him and held his hoof and said back to him,"AND YOU FACE ALL OF US!".

Lone sword turn to see all the soldiers equestrian,militia and mercenary sellswords and began to talk to all of them,"to all of you outside our city walls theirs a griffon with an army ten times bigger then ours he wants to take our gold,our woman,our home are we gonna let him take it from us?". Lone sword asked all of them.

"NO!!!". All the soldiers cry in unison.

"Good answer,now...LETS FUCKING KILL THEM!!". Lone sword shouted to all the soldiers.

As the soldiers began to shout in joy from the speech of their lord the austero pony looked at the vast griffon army at the horizon and said to him self out loud,"let them come...let...them...come!".

razor storm main camp:

The vast griffon army along side the huge number of sellswords made the last preparations for the siege bringing catapults,siege towers,battering rams,siege ladders,portable barricades and sappers. The griffon army was full of battle hardened infantry and marksgriffons but they lack spell casters that is why many of their sellswords were unicorns outside from equestria or zebra Shamans, but what the griffons had that silent meadows did not had was the fact that the griffons had more stamina and better vision then them.

In the main command tent razor storm and the rest of the commanders(minus two nobles) where going over the plan one more time.

"Four legions along side 4000 mercenary sellswords will move first along side the portable barricades and will place them for our siege engines to have cover then start bringing a rain of fire on them after you finish ready the barricades the other four legions along side 2000 mercenary sellswords will come to provide support with healing,ammo and zebra magic stones and be careful with the stones they explode on impact so if you drop them you can kill yourself and a few soldiers. Lastly after they will get tired from our attacks my legion will enter the battle along side me and my "storm talons" with the bronze flame mercenary company of dorgon the bronze dragon and his dragons as shock air infantry. And when i give the signal after we will crush the gates the last two legions along side 1000 mercenary sellswords will come out of the everfree forest and act as vanguard as they will enter the city first then all of us will enter,now prepare your troops we march to silent meadows FOR CONQUEST AND GLORY". Razor storm said to his commanders.

"FOR CONQUEST AND GLORY". They reply and went to their legions.

As they exit the command tent razor storm's squires got and put is armor on him his royal enchanted silver griffon plate armor and his enchanted war mace the"foe crusher" and he went to talk to his closest friend dorgon the bronze dragon. He enter the tent of the bronze dragon and in side he saw the dragon lay on the floor of the tent with booze,gemstones and female griffons,dragons and ponies with him. So razor storm grabbed his mace and hit the dragon on the head and the dragon woke up like it was nothing.

"You know one day i will rip your head of your body because you can't wake me up like a normal griffon". Dorgon said to him as he put aside the females that were on him.

"You miss the battle plans...again". Razor storm said to him while he grabbed some griffon ale.

"If you call it a plan every battle is the same me and my dragons are in the back and when the battle is almost over you send us for the kill its no fun". Dorgon said to him and he grabbed a keg of griffon ale and started to drink it.

"Well you can be happy you will have strong commanders to kill like princess celestia and merc the lone sword". The griffon warlord inform his friend.

"Your joking i get to kill merc the lone sword you don't know how happy i am. I met him once and he beat me like i was some whelp that got out from his egg i was looking forward to a day to challenge him again. And celestia if its ok with you i prefer you don't kill her". The dragon said to him.

"Why?". Razor storm asked him.

"Well i think that after we will win in time i can break her and make her my plaything". Dorgon said to him with a smile.

"You know what when we win you can have her,now get your wargear on and meet me outside the troops are waiting". The griffon warlord said as he went outside.

Outside ranks of griffons and sellswords by the thousands were standing waiting for their warlord to give the attack order. Then warlord razor storm along side dorgon the bronze dragon came to the view of the troops, razor storm in his armor and dorgon with a brass scale armor and a two handed axe made of steel and the scales of rival dragons.

Razor storm went in front of all the legions and began his speech,"to all of you in this war you made me proud and today the last battle will take place at this city..."silent meadows" the so call free city but after today it will be a proud griffon city and then all of equestria...but know this i fight not only for conquest or glory but our fallen comrades of the free city of copper waters they will be avenged. Now lets go and finish this for conquest for glory FOR GRIFFONSTONE!!". Razor storm shouted to his legions.

"FOR CONQUEST FOR GLORY FOR GRIFFONSTONE!!!!". The legions shouted in unison.

"CHARGE!!!!!". Razor storm shouted to them.

As the legions started the attack razor storm looked at the city and said to him self out loud,"this ends now!".

the walls of silent meadows:

"Lord lone sword incoming griffon forces". One of the soldiers said report to him.

"Equestrian spell casters on my mark...hold...hold.hold". Lone sword told them,then when the griffons started to get in range of the casters in groups he give the order,"FIRE".

The order was given and thousands of equestrian unicorns started to fire spells in a arch pattern and the sky was full of fire balls like its a rain of fire and one by one the fire balls hit the ground and the griffons and sellswords. They died on the spot and the ones that did not die were burned alive as they shouted in pain.

But that did not stop the griffon charge they mange to get to the position they needed to be and they deploy the portable barricades and started to bring the next wave of griffon forces along side the siege engines.

From silent meadows side lone sword give the command to all artillery,archers and spell casters to fire at will,"if you see anything that is not from the city then kill it!". Lone sword shouted to his troops.

While they fire spells,arrows and ballista harpoons the griffon army all so started to mobilize the sappers and siege engines.

"INCOMING!!!". Pure dawn shouted to the wall defenders.

And like that hundred of artillery barrages fell on the magic shield along side the zebra's magic stones and thousands of arrows. Each strike put more pressure on the shield and after hours of hits the shield shattered.

"Celestia the shield is lost order the order to provide aid". Lone sword said to celestia.

"On it". Celestia said to the austero pony then she took a stand and with her royal canterlot voice she called them,"order of the celestial sunlight to me!". And before the main gate 350 members of the order appear along with 3 grand masters.

"Members of the order aid the wall defenders". Celestia ordered them.

"YES PRINCESS". They said and went to help the defenders.

On the griffon side razor storm saw the shield shattered and smiled,"THE SHIELD IS DOWN ALL OF YOU CHARGE". He shouted to the rest of the forces.

Back on silent meadows side the griffon Tūval went as fast as she can to the mercenary lord,"lone sword i think its time for our little surprise". She said to him with a smile.

"You know what Tūval i think you are right send the signal". Lone sword said back to her with a smile.

She then fired an arrow to the sky and in the sky the arrow exploded.

Back at the griffon side some in the legions of the griffons and sellswords looked at the sky and saw the arrow that explode and on this point they started to kill their own comrades,then the word got to razor storm.

"OUR TROOPS TURN ON US!!!". He shouted to his commanders.

"Yes my lord just started to attack us for no reason". One of the nobles said.

"I know this trick,lone sword used it many times in his younger days. Weeks before a battle he send spies to payoff soldiers and sellswords and when the time comes if they prove they are to be trusted they join him in the middle of the battle and they cause problems in the ranks". Dorgon said while he crush the head of a diamond dog sellsword with his hand.

"SEND THE SIGNAL TO OUR FORCES IN THE EVERFREE,WE WILL STORM THE CITY IN FULL FORCE". Razor storm shouted in anger to his commanders.

One of his griffons took a bow and fire the signal arrow to the sky and after the arrow two more arrows came. But no griffon legions or mercenary sellswords came out of the forest.

"Where are the rest of the forces?". One of the nobles asked.

"Look i see movement from the woods". A griffon captain said to them.

What came out of the forest was not the rest of the griffon army but only dozen of griffon troops and a few sellswords. They where running and limping from the forest full of cuts and wounds all over their bodies,some of them even had missing legs,eyes,wings or the worse missing organs from their open guts.

One of the griffon captains of the legions in the everfree went to razor storm and the rest of the nobles. He had missing eye,wings and smashed beak.

"My cough cough cough lord you need to run forget this siege WE ALL NEED TO RUN!". The griffon captain said while he was coughing blood none stop.

"WHAT HAPPENED SOLDIER TELL ME!". Razor storm cry to his wounded captain but the captain died in his talons from loss of blood.

"Look something else is coming out of the forest!". One of razor storm's captains said.

They all turn to the woods to see one single figure coming out this thing had 8 horns, robes made of skin,3 arms and 3 eyes,black fur with strange words carved on all his body,razor teeth and sharp tongue,under his fur was a scaly skin and a sharp tail,the beast size was large as four adolescent minotaurs,on his head was a symbol of an 8 mark star,it had an armor of black color and red from dried blood,with his two front hands he held a huge cleaver sword that was burning and a staff made of a strange green rooks and dead wood and his hand in the back was long and had a pincer at the end.

"What is this thing what happened in the everfree?". Razor storm asked as he saw this strange monster and started to feel dread and fear.

the everfree forest-40 minutes before the signal arrow was in the sky:

The camp of the griffon legions in the everfree was busy then ever the legionnaires and the sellswords with them started to cut down trees and hunt some animals and a few monsters like manticores. And in the camp some of the legionnaires and sellswords where near the fire and talk to one another.

"I hate this forest its cold,full of monsters,poisonous plants and the trees are way stronger then a normal tree". One of the sellswords said to the group.

"Plus there is some crazy magic in here,they say that this was the stronghold of nightmare moon back a thousand years ago". Another sellsword said to them.

Then one of the griffon captains join the group,"you sellswords stop talking none sense and do what we paying you to do and start clearing the woods before the signal to join the main army". The captain said to the group of sellswords.

"Fine fine we are going". The sellswords said to the griffon captain and they went deeper to the everfree.

As the group of sellswords walked in the deeper woods of the forest they had a strange feeling that something is watching them from a distance.

"Did you hear that?". One of the sellsword said to the group.

"Yes it came from there". Another sellsword said.

They came close to some trees and from the trees came out a small squirrel.

"Its just a squirrel keep it together lets just finish the this task and get back to camp". The sellsword captain said to them and then he took his spear and stab the squirrel.

But when he stab the squirrel something happened the squirrel let out a scream so loud that his head explode.

"What in the name of tartarus was that!". The sellswords shouted.

But before they even knew it from the woods thousands upon thousands of growling voices came out in the form of timberwolves the size of manticores with red eyes and blood coming from their mouths.

The group of sellswords where to afraid to move but then they saw a huge construct of wood,rooks,bones and blood coming to them walking on two legs its look like a timberwolf golem but his head was of a goat. Then the huge monstrosity roared at them with a terrifying voice and the sellswords had on thing to say,"RUN!!!".

As the group of sellswords started to run one by one they got caught in the jaws of the monsters. Only one sellsword mange to flee back to the camp but when he got back he saw only blood and gore.

Thousands of animals and monsters came upon the camp of the griffons killing and eating everyone of them.

The sellsword wanted to move but he was to afraid then a huge monster with a staff came to him and grabbed him and said to him something in a vile way,"Uogu Qwe Baah!". The monster said and then he opened his mouth and tore apart his belly and started to eat him alive while the sellsword was still screaming.

back to the siege of silent meadows:

The huge monster with his staff took and channel to his mouth and he unleashed a scream so strong that all the combatants in the battle stopped fighting. They all were now focusing on this strange monster near the woods.

The monster then with a loud shout said in his strange tongue,"Qwe Phaos Shyish Sur Guwu Tarrh Yuizz Yuizz Yuizz Sur Akhash Sur Shyish Sur Khaos!!!!!!!!".

After the words of the monster a tide of hundred thousands monsters started to come out from the everfree with one thing in mind to kill for their dark master.

From the city wall lone sword saw the tide of monstrous hordes and was started to tremble in fear and he said to him self in his head,"so Doe-khar that is what you meant that my death will come from the rage of the beasts".
