Khaos Aksho Phaos

"This is a dream right?". A griffon soldier asked his fellow griffons beside him.

They turn their head to him and in fear and panic he asked again,"this is a dream right!".

Then a tide of monstrous beasts throwing them self on the griffon legions and the mercenary sellswords with unholy force.

Suddenly from the sky warlord razor storm and his storm talons honor guards along side the rest of his legion landed in the front of the battle line in front the first waves of monsters,the heavy armored imperial royal griffons took a strong shield wall formation while the storm talons honor guards with their enchanted armors and enchanted battle claws where in the air along side their lord. They activated their armor enchantments and suddenly the armor and weapons of all the griffon legions started to glow in lightning,razor storm not even turning around to his soldiers held is weapon high and shouted to all of them,"FOR GRIFFONSTONE!!".

And following him all of them shouted the griffon war cry and in a massive charge from the legions and sellswords from both air and ground on the monster horde.

As they clash with each other the griffons had one plan the ground force must hold and not break and the air force must keep the sky clear from any winged monster that will come to the formation from the sky.

The strange monster seeing the griffon resolve holding he lift is hands up in the sky and starting to chant something in his vile words and then a few seconds later a burst of magic came out from the monster. Suddenly A ghostly razor-edged pendulum materialises in the air above the the lines of griffon and monster alike. And on the monster command , the pendulum started to swing towards the army of griffon and monster, picking up speed as it does so the pendulum while looking like an illusion when it started to hit the griffons and monsters body parts from all of them started to fly in the sky with blood and acid like liquids raining down on the battlefield six seconds later the pendulum disappears from the sky.

As he witness what transpired in just six seconds razor storm knew that even if they will fought to the end no one pony or griffon will be safe as long as that monster still draws breath,not focusing for a second on the battle a manticore landed next to the griffon warlord ready to end his life. But to his luck his best friend and second in command dorgon landed on the head of the manticore then he cut off his tail and speared it in another manticore that was about to charge the formation.

"You know this is not the best time for daydreaming". Dorgon said while he cut off dozen of monsters with his axe.

"I know but we have no chance of winning their is to many of them and that monster that lead them its not a wild beast it can cast magic and it can use tactics when we and his monsters charged each other he knew we be close and he used that to kill us with this magic i never saw before in my life,so how how can we win against that thing". Razor storm said with desperation in his words.

Then dorgon grabbed his friend by the shoulders and with a smile he said to him,"to the bitter end".

Razor storm lift his head and return a smile to his friend,"you still remember when i said that to you in our first battle together,but you are right i am a griffon of house storm and house storm never backs down". Razor storm said to dorgon taking his mace from the ground he then looked at dorgon and said to him something he never said to him before,"i think its time to fight monster with fire,dorgon go wild". When he heard this words dorgon with a huge smile roared to the sky and seconds later 60 dragons with armor and two handed weapons started to cut down monsters and using fire to burn them,then 3 large adult dragons unleash turrets of fire on the monster line burning them all to cinder and last from the griffon war camp came 2 large wingless dragons that their scales were sharp and tough they did not have any fire breathing abilities like normal dragons but they were stronger in form of muscle mass,they charged the monsters destroying any beast in the way.

At the battle was going in favor of the griffons suddenly a flash of magic appeared before them and from the flash two figures came out in the form of a unicorn clad in a sun like armor and a griffon with sharp wings.

"Lord razor storm we have a message for you from lord lone sword". The female griffon said to him.

"And what message the lord of the free city have for me,we are busy in a battle for our life". Razor storm said to her not even looking at them.

"The message is "i know how to destroy that monster" so care to listen to what we have to say?". The griffon asked him.

Razor storm turn his head to them,"i am listening". He said to the griffon female.

"Nice step one is done,ok first my name is Tūval and this unicorn here is pure dawn and our lord and princess celestia found a way to kill that goat monster but in order for that to happened the only demand he have is that we join forces". Tūval said to the griffon warlord in her cheerful way.

"Fine i agree to his terms but tell your lord and to the princess that all of my forces are coming wounded included". Razor storm said to Tūval.

"Very well,now that we are allies its best that you order your troops to retreat to the city we will go to inform lone sword,so pure dawn if you may". As she said that to pure dawn his horn started to glow and they disappear.

"Give the army the order to retreat to silent meadows make sure to bring all the wounded with us,dorgon call your dragons to join us but the five big ones will stay in the battle to provide cover all so i will keep one legion and 500 sellswords to hold the line if somehow the large dragons will fail". Razor storm said to his commanders and to dorgon.

Once the order was given the griffon legions started to grab all the wounded and supplies they could carry with them to the city they once tried to siege. While the legions were on the march one of the legions along side of 500 sellswords where left on the battle to cover the rest of the army and with them the five large dragons from the bronze flame mercenary company plus 10 other dragons that dargon order them to provide heavy support to the legion that was covering the army.

When the griffon army started to arrive to the city gate they waited in silence to see if the lord of the free city will honor his words and will open the gates to razor storm and when doubt started to cloud the mind of the army the gates of silent meadows started to open and the griffon army started to enter,in front of the army razor storm and dorgon met lone sword and princess celestia,they looked at each other and to break the silence lone sword came close to the griffon warlord and said to him,"welcome to silent meadows".

Outside the city near the everfree the large monster was standing watching the griffon army enter the city and his monsters burning from the dragons but what came to his face was not rage or anger but joy,he then lift his arm to the air and a deformed crow landed on it the beast whisper something to the crow and send it to the city once the crow was on the path to silent meadows the monster started to return to the forest but then he heard a voice,"stop!". The voice said to him in demand.

The beast stop and turn around to see a purple dragoness with some green scales on her back she was not one of the dragons from razor storm army for what reason she came to the Bray-Shaman only she knew.

Compared to the Bray-Shaman she was slightly bigger but never saw something like him and that give him the advantage so for now the best thing to do his learn everything about that thing.

"I see you stopped when i said it that mean you can understand me correct,so you won't be bother if i ask you some questions?". The dragoness asked the beast.

The monster just looked at her growling and making crude grunts, roars and gestures,his hooves made a movement like pose as if he was going to charge her but the dragoness did not move from her spot. Then the monster stopped his crude grunts, roars and gestures and stand to his full height and then she saw that he is much larger then what she first saw. The beast then grabbed from is side a body of mutilated griffon and next to the dragoness he started to devour it,every piece of the body started to make sounds of bone cracking and blood pouring out of the mouth of the beast and when he was done eating he looked at the dragoness again doing nothing.

"So now that you done with your food are we going to talk or not". The dragoness said to him with a cold voice.

The beast watch the city gates close and started to smile,looking at the dragoness and opening his mouth,"tell me dragon what good will come from talking to me,talking to me is like for the sheep to talk to the wolf at the end you will die and i will feed on your flesh". The monster said to her stomping on the skull of the griffon he ate.

"But i will amuse you before i will kill you and all of the livestock in that city,so what do you wish to know". The monster said to her with a smile full of razor sharp teeth.

"Well it would be nice to know your name and why you are doing this for start". She asked him.

"My name is no matter for someone that is going to die but the bhakari started to call me The rage of the everfree for some reason and for the why i am doing all of this well because i was born and forge to do it". The monster said to her with a loud laugh and smile.

"Well now that i have my answer i have only one thing to say". The dragoness grabbed a long sword from next to her and her green scales started to glow,"in order to save all of them you must die!". And she unleashed a fire breath so strong and long it lasted for 3 minutes.

As the flames started to fade in the place of the monster was a burning corpse she looked at the charred corpse for a second and said to her self,"not so strong are you". But before she left the charred corpse it started to fade. And before she reacted from behind her the monster grabbed her wings with his arms and with his third arm he grabbed her neck."don't worry i will not kill you yet for i need your flesh and soul for my last creation before this city will fall,but one thing i am sure off i will not need your wings for that". And with that words he tore off her wings along side some of her flesh and bone,and she roared with pain and tears as she was dragged to the forest for his plans.

the walls of silent meadows:

Inside the city the citizens of silent meadows were aiding wounded of both the griffon army and equestrian army while rest of the force was reinforcing the walls and gate the commanders of the new coalition giving orders to the troops and the main commanders of the coalition merc the lone sword,princess celestia and razor storm where talking about a new strategy that will help them bring victory over the forces of the monsters from the everfree.

"So what is this strategy you got that will destroy that monster lone sword?". Razor storm asked the austero pony.

"Yes i am all so wandering what you plan for bringing down this beast". Celestia said to lone sword.

"Well in order to beat this thing first you need to know what we are facing,this thing i don't know its origin i know that the last time it was mentioned was 150 years ago and the name that they give it was The rage of the everfree". Lone sword said to celestia and razor storm.

The two looked at him like they are talking to a mad pony,"are you serious you telling me that what just killed my griffons is a legend from 150 years ago". Razor storm said in disbelief.

"Well believe me or not this is the truth and if the legend is like they say it is then all of the monsters that coming from the forest will not stop till we kill the one that control them or they will kill us". Lone sword said to the griffon warlord.

"So how do we stop this rage of the everfree?". Celestia asked him.

"We hold the city against the tide of monsters till midnight when midnight will come the rest of the austero umbral blades will awake from sleep then we will hold till the one that control them will show himself when he does we will focus our strongest individuals to target only him then celestia will bring the last hit with the elements of harmony. Is that a plan to your liking?". Lone sword asked them.

They both nodded to him in agreement.

"Good now lets talk about...". Before lone sword explain the rest of the plan the door to his office opened in force and his second in command Tūval was standing their with a serious look on her face.

"Lord lone sword we have a problem".

Back on the walls of the city the soldiers where looking at a crow but it was larger then a normal crow and full of deformed body parts like a crooked beak and dead eyes,the crow landed on one of the flag poles and just started to look at the ponies and griffons. The leaders of the coalition came outside to look at what bothering the army,then the crow started to talk in a voice that sounded like the monster from before.

"To all of the cattle in the walls of your stone city hear my words-"your walls will fall...your faith will fail...your flesh will tear!". You stand before the warherd of the ClovenBlight and in the name of the four all of you old,young,male or female will suffer my rage as i will carve a bloody path to your home and burn it for the gods. Now let us begin and with our bodies die in a bloody climax we will become closer to the gods...ALL IS KHAOS". The words from the crow stopped and then he explode.

After some time from the everfree the monster that refer to himself as clovenblight walk with staff in the air,one of the flaying dragons saw him and went to burn him. But when the staff started to emit a sick dark green glow a huge roar came out of the forest and when the dragon turn to see what made the voice then a giant mouth made of wood and stone came from the woods and grabbed the dragon from the neck and with one bite he tore his neck from his body. And as the dragon fell a huge dragon made of wood and stone bigger then the dragons on their side came to the sky. The head was made of stone and green magic came out of his eyes,his body was wood and stone and his wings where made of wood but cover in green dark magic.

When the huge timberWyvern roared large sharp trees started to come from the ground to the air to the direction of the dragons. The dragons evade the trees but one of the trees hit one of the dragons wings forcing him to land.

Clovenblight with a loud bestial roar and then wave after wave of timberwolves,manticores,timberwolf golems,timberdrakes and hydras came out of the forest and were on a rampage in the direction of the city. The 3 dragons on the ground did not mange to hold their line and the horde of beasts killed them like they were nothing,the last large dragon was dueling the massive timberWyvern in the sky and in the ground the legion and sellsword that stayed behind took a shield wall formation to hold the tide while the 15 dragons provide cover from above. When all seems lost they started to hear artillery fire along side magic and rain of arrows coming from the city hitting the monsters with all they got.

Then from the walls razor storm looked at his griffons and then at lone sword and celestia,"how long till midnight". He said to them.

"30 minutes". Lone sword said to him.

"Then i will give you this 30 minutes". Razor storm said to him and he jump from the wall and started to fly and with a tremendous shout he call,"FOR GRIFFONSTONE!!". And following him was all the legions of the griffon army and the dragons of bronze flame.

"Razor storm don't do this you will die!". Celestia cry to him.

"Then i will die a griffon". And with that all of the griffon army with a strong push from the sky turn the tide once more against the monsters horde.

Now in the sky the battle was in favor of the coalition and with all the griffons blocking the path of the monsters clovenblight made is move trying to cast more of his magic of ulgu. But from the sky a dragon clad in bronze landed near him and stopping his casting.

"If you want to do your tricks then you better kill me first,now show me what you made of". Dorgon said with his axe in his hands and with a smile.

In return to his words Ezra ClovenBlight put his staff in his third arm and got his cleaver sword,the sword started to burn in rage and with a roar the Bray-Shaman said,"Akhash Sur Guwu Akhash Tarrh". And they both clash with each other full force.

The battle was long and hard the griffons only had one job to hold the line but the monsters did not care they only saw them as meat for the slaughter. In the sky the dragons did a lot of damage to the timberWyvern but in the same time they lost 20 dragons and 4 large dragons,the ground force mange to thanks to the fire support from the city,razor storm and his honor guard stood as a spear point at the front and then they saw it the mad duel between dorgon and clovenblight. It was like to see two monsters battling each other,sparks from their weapons in the air,the ground became mud and blood came out of both of them but the most terrifying part was that they both smile.

"Yes this is what i wanted,this is the battle i saw in my dreams you beast tell me your name,tell me the name of the one that manage to offer me a challenge!". Dorgon roared with a smile to the beast.

"I am your end". The beast said and he lift his sword up to cut the bronze dragon but the dragon stop the blade with his hand and with his second hand he did the same thing only with his axe and like him the Bray-Shaman stopped the axe with his hand. "Well that battle was fun but this is where you die!!". Dorgon said to the monster and he unleashed a bronze flame so strong the heat started to melt the metal next to him. But what he saw was the skull of the monster looking at him with rage its flesh started to regenerate and with a smile he said to him,"i...am...ETERNAL!!!". And with that in point blank he unleashed a Bray-Scream with such intensity that the eyes of dorgon burst. Dorgon in pain started to swing his axe all around trying to hit his target,razor storm saw his friend but he did not make it in time and the huge cleaver sword pierce the back of the dragon and he lift him in the air with it and then he toss him to the side and unleashed a roar of victory.

His friend dead,his rage taking hold and lightning started to come from his mace and armor he charged the Bray-Shaman,he landed a hit on the head of the monster but nothing the wound just regenerate again,the monster put his sword aside and grabbed his staff and started to battle the griffon warlord.

"You will pay for what you done,you hear me you will pay!!". Razor storm shouted in anger to the beast.

"Foolish mortal look around you,your army is broken and the age of chaos will begin,"splintermaw burn the gate!!!". The Bray-Shaman call to his timberWyvern.

The massive timberWyvern then grabbed the last large dragon by the neck and drag both of them from the sky to the gate of the city and in a burning inferno they hit the gate and the gate was no more.

back at the city:

"Damage report,give me damage report". Lone sword yell to his militia.

"The gate is in ruins,the collision with the fire killed 40 sellswords and 60 wounded". The militia captain reported to lone sword.

"Damn it,celestia how long till midnight?". He asked the princess.

Celestia while she was trying to heal the wounded turn to him and said,"10 minutes".

"Everypony hold the walls we all most ready for the offensive just hold the...". Lone sword stopped talking when a sound of rumbling was heard from outside the ruined gate,"oh what now". Lone sword said to himself.

From outside the gate the upper half of the now burning timberWyvern was holding the walls and roared to the wall defenders.

"Somepony take out that thing before it will destroy the walls". Lone sword yelled to his forces.

And before the massive half timberWyvern did more damage to the walls a long golden sun spear pierce the head of timberWyvern and with a burst of magic the beast was force down from the walls. Lone sword turn his head and saw celestia with a much more serious look on her face,when the spear returned to her she looked back at lone sword,"7 minutes". She informed him.

Outside the city on the battlefield the griffons mange to hold the tide but with heavy losses from 25500 griffons only 9300 left and what left of the bronze flame mercenary company from 65 dragons only 10 left standing but somehow they mange to beat the forces of thousands upon thousands of monsters. Razor storm now was wounded along side the last 10 dragons surrounded the shaman,"for all that you done today we will cast you to the depth of tartarus". Razor storm said to ClovenBlight only to get the sound of mad laughter from the Shaman,"what so funny beast". Razor storm said in anger to the Shaman.

"You think this is all of my herd,you think you can kill khaos this is far from over,all of this battle was for one purpose to invoke the power of all the rage and madness to fuel my last and strongest force,so with that allow me to introduce to you all the "lumbergors". ClovenBlight said to the griffon army.

And like he said somethings started to come out of the forest monsters made of wood,stone and fell magic each the size of minotaurs they all had hooves and horns and look like goats,sheep and cows,they had sharp hands and arms that look like axes and maces last was their eyes not green like the other timber monsters of the everfree but they were red like blood. Along side the monsters were manticore size timberwolves with tusks and poisonous acid dripping their mouth. They all looked at them growling and making crude grunts, roars and gestures and last ClovenBlight lift his staff to the air and said,"Shyish Guar Mll".

On his command thousands upon thousands of lumbergors and chaos timberwolves charged the griffons in full force. When the battle first started the griffons held the line against the monsters but now it was not a battle it was a bloodbath the ClovenBlight warherd overwhelmed the griffon force and in a few minutes every last of the griffon army was dead only razor storm still stand bloody and wounded. Slowly ClovenBlight walk to the all most dead griffon,he then lift him in the air by is head and in a second he tore off his head from his body and he toss the body to the side,he then lift the head to the air and roared in victory. After he finish to show the head of the fallen griffon he pointed with his staff to the city and said to his lumbergor herds,"Qwe Sho Baah, Yuizz Bhakari!". And in a massive roar all of them charged to city.

Back at the city they all saw the death of the griffon army and the now massive charge from the new force of monsters,but then midnight came and the city tombs started to glow in a shadowy dark color and on the walls lord lone sword like the tombs started to glow. He then turn to what left of the army and said in a dark low voice of anger,"now the umbral blades of the austero will show them death".
