"Cayde, wake up!" Luna yelled

Sundance was destroyed and crushed by a Hydra and he was slammed around and trampled before the hydra ran deeper into the everfree

"Hey....I had a good run. I guess its...*cough*...it's just my time....it was gonna....come some day. I'll get to see my family now....Ace...I'll get to see my boy....and maybe Sundance will be there" Cayde chuckled a little on the last part.

"No.....please" Luna's eyes were flowing like rivers

"Luna...I lov-" Cayde's last words were cut short

"NO!" Luna jolted in her bed. She would've shot up but realized she was being held down by something

"H-hey. You ok? Have a bad dream?" The soft glow of Cayde's eye's slightly illuminated

"Oh thank Celestia" Luna wrapped her legs around Cayde

"What?" Cayde looked at Luna who now had tears threatening to flow like a busted dam

"You....h-hydra....couldn't...save you" Luna was sobbing into Cayde's metal shoulder.

"Woah woah, hey I'm here now aren't I?" Cayde was concerned so he tried cheering her up "atleast I hope I am.." he felt his face up "yeah, I'm here"

A small amount of time has passed and Luna fell asleep in Cayde's lap

"Sister are you ok in there? I can feel your sadness from Young Twilight's library so i came as quickly as I could." Celestia said from outside the door of Luna's chambers

"She's fine. Just had a bad dream is all!" Cayde responded for her which irritated Celestia and she teleported in

"That will not do i want to hear it from h-" Celestia stopped, for she was shocked. In the bed sat up was Cayde with no cloak or anything his bare metal skin exposed, with Luna in his lap wrapped around him with her head on his shoulder

"YOU! WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN HER BED!?" Celestia was furious

"Can you not see the state she is in? It is most certainly not the time for this." Cayde was annoyed at Celestia's consistency to be annoyingly overprotective.

"I will comfort her. You have no need to" Celestia charged shot what Cayde assumed was some form of spell at him. He was engulfed in light as he dodged the spell

"Princess with all due respect she was crying. I was just trying to comfort her." Cayde was now standing in the middle of the room

"Put my sister down and leave the castle. Now." Celestia was so furious she was eerily calm

"I'll do half of that request. What half you may ask...lemme show you." Cayde said as he ran out onto the balcony still holding Luna and hopped off of it.

"LUNA!" He heard Celestia scream but he didn't care his only concern was making sure his new friend was happy
He used his double jump to slow down the fall before they hit the ground

"Sundance, sparrow now" Cayde said

"This isn't a good idea Cayde. The royal guard will come after you and that forest is a darkness zone" Sundance said

"I don't...I don't care. Just give me a ride." Cayde said. Sundance gave a slight huff and summoned his sparrow

"Hey.....hey.....Luna wake up" Cayde said as he shook Luna softly

"Hmm? What where are we?" Luna was confused

"Well long story short. You had a bad dream and woke up in a panic. You cried into my shoulder and fell asleep. Your sister came in and got furious i was in your bed and naked. She then proceeded to shoot a spell at me which i dodged. Then i jumped off your balcony with you. And rode into the forest. Now here we are." Cayde explained

"Cayde you realize the royal guard are probably on the way as we speak." Luna said

"Yup....And i just realized im still naked and unarmed. Sunny...can you change that?" Cayde said

"Yup. Would you also like me to make more ammo for Ace?" Sundance asked

"Yeah that'd be great" Cayde, Luna and Sundance heard a loud roar from the distance. "Probably a good time actually" they heard thumping of heavy footsteps

Cayde was engulfed in light as he was suddenly dressed "SUNDANCE, ACE! NOW!" Cayde yelled as he waited for his gun he seen a 4 headed dragon running full speed at them. his gun appeared in his hand as he ran at the dragon at full speed

"LUNA STAND BACK I'VE GOT THIS" Cayde ran towards the hydra as fear engulfed Luna the creature he died to was a hydra. They were in a clearing in the everfree when it happened

Cayde jumped at the hydra and double jumped straight over it. He shot at its back which did nothing but piss it off. Cayde ran around it and shot at it's heads. It recoiled and roared louder.

Celestia sensed Luna's fear "there she is. Guards, come with me." She teleported to her sister and a small group of 6 guards followed "she's around here."

"Princess there's a Hydra here! We must find Luna" a guard yelled

*BANG* *BANG* *BANG* *BANG*

"Over there! Now. if you see a bipedal creature too.....take aim at that. It took Luna" Celestia said with venom in her voice

Cayde realized it will be harder than he thinks to take the Hydra down. He will have to grab Luna and retreat he jumped in the air and casted golden gun.

A beam of energy hit him and sent him flying far into the forest

"CAYDE!!!" Luna was terrified. Sundance is still alive but Cayde just got sent flying.

"Sister come with me to the castle. That creature is no longer a threat to you." Celestia said with pride in her voice

"He never was a threat! He's the first being ti bring a bit of excitement and joy to my life in hundreds of years. NOW TAKE YOUR GOONS AND GO BACK TO THE CASTLE!! I'M FINDING CAYDE!!!" Luna was furious with her sister. So furious she tapped into her royal canterlot voice

"Cayde. You need to stop while you can. You took heavy damage. If you die i cant resurrect you. Your light will fade away." Sundance warned Cayde

"Luna is out there, that bitch of a sister she has is responsible for me flying all the way back here. Time to finish this." Cayde ran back and was filled with worry

"Go back to where you came foul creature!" Luna yelled at the hydra and shot a magic beam at it. Blowing a head clear off, only for her to be swatted out of the air and sent flying

"LUNA!!!" Celestia yelled as her sister was swatted. She was engulfed in fear before a certain exo Caught Luna as she fell. He set her down gently as she was knocked unconscious.

"Hey you! You big lumbering lizard! Come get me! Leave them alone!" He yelled as he ran off into the everfree

"Luna are you ok?" Celestia asked as she woke her sister

"Where's Cayde?" Luna weakly asked

"He ran off into the forest, distracting the hydra so we can get back to the castle" Celestia said

"Let me wait here for him" Luna said still pretty weak

"He told us to go back to the castle" Celestia lied

"Did he promise he will be back?" Luna asked

"Yes" Celestia lied again

"Here we are." Cayde smiled as he seen a small cliff

"What's your plan exactly?" Sundance asked

Cayde came to the cliff and turned around. The hydra was running at him full speed. It was about 20 feet away when he dodged quick left. The hydra ran clear off the cliff and Cayde was safe.

"Phew. Now that just proves the bigger they are the harder they fall" Cayde joked

"Lets get back to the castle while its still day" Sundance suggested

"Sister. I know you heavily dislike Cayde but he's a very down to Equis guy with great qualities. He put himself before me against an enemy more than 30 times his size." Luna stressed

"He has probably fallen to that hydra. It was a category 7. They are threats to even me. Sister. He can resurrect hinself but not without that pet. His pet has probably also been slain. Im sorry sister, but the machine is not coming back." Just as Celestia finished the sentence the throne room doors opened revealing a Handcuffed Cayde with guards on both sides

"Heyo!" Cayde said waving from his hip

"Cayde!" Luna ran towards him

Cayde broke the cuffs and opened his arms for a hug. Luna hopped on her hind legs and embraced Cayde

"Im so glad you made it back." Luna said while still hugging him.

"Don't worry. I wouldn't die easily feom something that small. I would've killed it no problem hadn't someone interrupted my Super. *fake cough*sunbutt*fake cough* but it takes more than that to kill me." Cayde said

"Well. Since your back i was planning on redecorating my chambers. Would you like to join me? There will be Ramen" Luna asked

"Ooo ramen?! Hey since I'm gonna be here for a while can I get a pet?" Cayde asked as they walked out of the throne room

"What kind of pet?" Luna asked with a slight chuckle

"Well i wanted one of Fluttershy's roosters" Cayde stated

"Very well. You just have to take care of it and make sure it doesn't do the number two on my bed" Luna said

"Yaaayyy! The colonel returns, Sundance you excited?" Cayde

"Overjoyed." she said flatly

"Oh cmon dont be like that" Cayde joked

Well. That was rather quick to get another chapter out. Dont get used to it tho. I go back to work soon.

Aaanyway i keep asking but to no answer so im just going with what i want. Im going to be introducing romance to the story. With as u can guess Cayde and Celestia........naaaahhhhh im joking. Cayde x Luna all the way baby. Anywho. Until the next one Guardians
