Chapters THE BEGINING OF THE END by Nedak1
It was a regular day in Ponyville, nothing out of the ordinary, at least until a huge flash of light was emitting from the nearby forest. For the next hour, it has been changing from three colors: White, Yellow, and Blue. No one noticed this though. They just thought it was the pendant wielders returning for some fun times and something to pass the time. They were half right. The three who stepped from the portal were nothing comparable to the three heroes. For one the three mysterious arrivers had completely different coat colors, as if the negatives were taken from the heroes’ photos were printed on them. The other differences being these ponies were alicorns, which is impossible because of the fact that there are only supposed to be three in existence.
“So this is where that pansy, Nedak, disappears to. Time to crush his dreams.” Said one of the three mysterious figures…
THIRTY MINUTES EARLIER
“So you two can actually go to Equestria, the place where everyone who is anyone wants to go and probably stay?” asked Rena, a close friend of the three heroes, who has an addiction for coffee.
“Nowhere else but Equestria. Be right back with proof…” Nedak said as he was rummaging through his pocket for the pendant. Within that second he found it, he instantly disappeared and reappeared with an animated patch of grass. Without thinking, he immediately ate the grass like . Everyone glared at him for awhile.
“What? OH!! Sorry! I’m too used to it.”
“How long have you been there in one trip Nedak?!” asked Renimcinos.
“Judging by the position of the sun and the moon, about eleven months.”
“…Wow…No wonder we haven’t seen you a lot lately. Anyways let’s just leave this until tomorrow. It’s already 10:00P.M.” Reni stated, starting to walk to his home.
“Whatever. See yah tomorrow guys.” With that, Nedak rode off on his bike for another night. As he was riding home, he felt he was being followed by someone or something. He dismissed it and kept riding home. Five minutes later, he was fast asleep without a care in the world. What he didn’t know was followed by the neighborhood bully, Marcus Malice and his two “friends.” Why they were following him was simple: They hated him and his friends, and wanted to make them suffer for being different. As Marcus was waiting for the perfect moment to strike, he was wondering what to steal off him. When he saw the pendant that he put in a locked safe, he was sure what to take that would ruin him internally. When Nedak fell asleep, Marcus crept through the window, snuck over to the safe, and typed the pass-code: “7669” The Safe opened, and Marcus swiped the pendant and ran out of there.
The three thieves gathered around the pendant wondering what to do with it, when they remember overhearing a conversation the three heroes had regarding voice commands. When they picked up the pendant and before yelling “Portal Open,” One of them noticed an engraving on the back of it saying: “OsterHagen Restart, an explosion equivalent to the original Big Bang. In other words, restart the universe.” Ignoring this at the moment, the three walked into the rainbow colored portal for the magical world of target.
When they arrived in Equestria, they were shocked to find each other as ponies. Marcus was a light gray Allicorn with a green Mane. One of the other two was red with an orange mane. The last guy was blue with an orange mane. Their cutie marks were all the same: a Nuclear Radiation Symbol.
“So this is where that pansy, Nedak, disappears to, time to crush his dreams.” Marcus said as they prepared for the most chaotic invasion of history.
EIGHT HOURS LATER
It was a particularly stormy morning, not usual for southern California. If anywhere but here, it would be Bakers-Field that would be like this. When a bolt of lightning struck within seconds the thunder struck and it scared the hell out of Nedak, who jumped straight into the air and went to hug his Rainbow Dash plushy to death. After this moment passed, he went to his safe and typed in the code: “7669” When he opened the safe, the following was heard throughout the city: “AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRGH!!!!!” This was not only was heard all over the city, it was heard not only in Equestria, but it was heard two days in the future right before a giant explosion that restarted the universe.
Within minutes Renimcinos and Spark K. kicked the door down and when they nothing suspicious, they sighed and asked, “What is it now Nedak?”
“You don’t understand how screwed we are at this exact moment in time, right here, right now!” Nedak hissed, “Those bastards stole the pendant, and are now are in possession of the biggest explosive device on the universe. And if we don’t get it back, we are all dead!”
“Why don’t we go find these bastards right now? Where do you think they went, Nedak?”
Seeming to have calmed down, he pondered where they could have gone. He suddenly exclaimed really fast, “I got it! They hate us because we are different! And if we’re different, they have to think different! And if you think like us, you think My Little Pony! And if you think My Little Pony, you think Equestria! And that’s where they went!”
“Well, let’s get going!” With that, Renimcinos yelled “Portal Open” and the three jumped into the portal to begin the greatest battles Equestria has seen yet…
BEGINNING OF THE END: PART 2
It was dark and cloudy day in Ponyville Centre, and the market was very crowded this time around. Thanks to density of the crowd, you couldn't move two steps without bumping into some-pony and being forced to hastily apologize and do it all again within the same ten seconds.
Above the market, there were three clouds that looked like they had a Pegasus on each of them. On those clouds were the three invaders discussing how to kick off the master plan.
Marcus pointed at the red Allicorn and said, "Vincent, you are going to scout the area and find a good spot to start the chaos." He then pointed at the Green Allicorn, "Tristan, you are going to help find the pony in charge around here. We have a photo of the Mayor, but it's going to be hard to find her in this crowd. That's where their own magic comes into place. We enter where Vincent points out and use a spell that makes anyone it hits fall unconscious. We don't want anyone dead... Yet. When we find the Mayor, we go to that treehouse we found and interrogate her for the location of the ruling power of this girly place. After that, we invade the castle and assume control of said place. After we get bored with this place, we use the pendant's last resort command and resume our lives when we return and laugh at Nedak as he loses grip of humanity and offs himself. Any questions?"
"Yes I have one." Vincent said, "What if she refuses to talk? Or what if we get intercepted by those three losers? Or even better. What if we can't beat that namby pamby pony princess?"
"Great questions. If she refuses to talk, we ditch her and find some one else to spill the beans. If we get delayed by the pansies, we fight them off and when unconscious, we move on with the plan. If we can't defeat the princess, we play dirty and defeat her with combined power. Now let's put this show on the road." With that Marcus sent Vincent and Tristan to their respective tasks and waited for everything to fall into place.
Moments later, another flash of bright lights appeared near Sugarcube Corner. The four that stepped out were none other than Nedak, Renimcinos, Spark K. Lionheart, and Rena, who took the name Latte so no one would think she was helping the three heroes. When they dusted themselves off, they were immediately greeted by the hyper-active Pinkie Pie.
Pinkie Pie suddenly asked very fast, "Hi guys! What are you doing here? You said you'd be back a week after the last time you were here, which was two DAYS ago! Are you some sorta serious spy job? That reminds me of this one time Twilight was freaking out over a message from her future self that turned out to be a fluke. We even snuck in to the royal Canterlot library even they would've just let us in at the start! And..."
"Nedak, what do we do now? Considering the fact that we can even recognize them, how do we find them?"Asked Reni.
"Hang on! I'm thinking!"He yelled, "Hmmmm... My mind is drawing a complete blank right now, perhaps we should get some supplies for a stakeout at the market?"
"Why would we need to hold a stakeout?" Latte asked, "But I agree with Nedak. We need some supplies to hunt them down and send 'em packing. Let's get going."
As the four walked off, Pinkie stopped rambling and went back to helping the Cake family with whatever they needed her for.
TEN MINUTES LATER
"Okay. We have: Tripwires, smoke pouches, food, flint and steel, tents, sleeping bags, binoculars, and a survival knife. Anything else Nedak?"
"Nope. Thats just about it. We won't be gone for-"
Just at that moment, a bloodcurdling scream could be heard from the other end of the market. Then multiple flashes of purple lights were seen and every pony there except the four were running from the now confirmed magic bolts. When the bolts hit some of the runners, the ones hit fell to the ground as if struck unconscious. As more runners were hit, the screaming started to die down. Within seconds everyone except the crowd cutters and the four in pursuit of the crowd cutters.
"Well... If it isn't the little doggies coming back for this necklace." Marcus began, "How does it feel that your precious world is about to be the newest wasteland in our new world? There's no use trying. We already got what we came for."
"Why you little..." Nedak growled. He then lunged at Marcus with his hoof pointing at his face. The Light grey Allicorn barely flinched as he fired a magic bolt at Nedak's chest. As Nedak fell to the floor unconscious, Marcus was distracted by his own laughter as Spark's horn glowed a bright purple and grew into a huge sphere. The purple sphere was then shot at Marcus at speeds that would make a sonic rain-boom look like a paper ball being thrown at a trash can. Before it hit though, Marcus' horn glowed a dark red as he disappeared into nothing. The other two Allicorns did the same as they disappeared to where ever they meant to go with that spell.
TWO MINUTES LATER
"Nedak? Nedak? WILL YOU WAKE UP!! Someone hand me the bucket of water.
He was jolted awake by a stream of water poured on his head. When he was awake, he opened his eyes to meet some other pony's eyes. They were a deep amethyst and had a worried look on them. When he backed up a little bit, he found they belonged to no one else but Rainbow Dash.
"Oh...hi there Dash. You would not believe the weirdest dream I had." Nedak said with a slight blush on his face, noticing how he was surrounded by the entire town.
"It wasn't a dream Nedak. There was a broadcast from somewhere around Appleousa from three unidentified Allicorns saying that these next few days will be the last we will have true meaning. Do you know about these three, because your friends sure do?"
"Yes. Yes I do. But I don't know what we should do now. If they make it to Canterlot, we can't do anything to stop them. They will take over and destroy this dimension piece by piece." Nedak continued, "If we want to stop them now we need to go right now!" With that, Nedak got on his hooves and started walking to the edge of town.
Back in the crowd Renimcinos was sulking at the fact he couldn't do anything for his friend who he now believes is dead. He wasn't facing the center of the crowd, so he couldn't see Nedak was alive and kicking.
"I can't believe he's dead... What's the point of trying to stop them now? They now have the leverage to control the world without raising a finger. There's nothing left..."
"That doesn't mean you can't smile though. What's the point of frowning even if you lost someone dear to you. They wouldn't want you to act like this. It's better to move on with your life even if it's your last day."
"Thanks for those words. Why do I feel I recognize you though?" Reni turned around to see it was again Pinkie Pie.
"I should tell you that Nedak wasn't dead, just passed out. You're so silly sometimes."
"REALLY! Where is he? I have some choice words for him."
"He's at the edge of town. He's going to go find those mean ol' Allicorns himself."
As Renimcinos was about to run off to his friend, Pinkie Pie interrupted him by saying, "Hey Reni! Before you go, I have something for you."
"Yes. What is it?" he turned his head to end up KISSING Pinkie Pie straight on the lips. He blushed heavily as she returned the kiss.
"Ahhhhhhhh...." the crowd said in unison, obviously in awe.
"Good luck Reni!" Pinkie yelled as he flew to the edge of town to confront Nedak.
ONE MINUTE LATER
"Nedak, if you are going to fond these invaders, at least let me come with you."
"Of coarse Dash! I was planning on going alone. In fact, where are the other three I came here with?" Nedak questioned the lack of his friends, when he was suddenly punched in the face by Renimcinos.
"OW!! What was that for Reni?!"
"You had me left thinking you were DEAD!! Don't even think about going alone! Who knows what would have happened if you left alone."
"I wasn't even thinking of doing so. I was waiting for you, Spark, and Rena. Why would I forget to let my friends have some of the fun beating the snot out of these wannabe rulers."
"Speaking of which, where are Spark and Rena?" wondered Renimcinos.
"We're over here!" two voices had yelled over to them. "Sorry about that, we got lost after we heard Nedak was at the edge of town, waiting for us."
"*Ahem* Can we get going?" Asked a very impatient Rainbow Dash.
"Yeah! Let's get MOVING!!!" With that, the five ponies started to fly/run off into the great plains
MEANWHILE! AT APPLELOUSA
"Dammit! That damn mare gave the wrong directions! I told you we should have just casually go to some one asking, 'excuse me! Can I get directions to the royal palace?' That would have worked better than what we actually did! Now we made ourselves known as terrorists!" Vincent yelled.
"Will you shut up Vince! Everything is going according to plan. We can just take the train there." Marcus said, attempting to calm Vincent down.
"But Vince was right. We can't purchase anything without being recognized and arrested!" Tristan said, making great progress getting Vincent's point across.
"Why don't we fly to Royal Palace by following the tracks?" Marcus suggested. His idea made the most sense. No tickets purchased means no going to buy tickets, and that means they can't be recognized as a threat.
"Alright! Let's get going!" With that, the three went outside of the shack they were hiding out in, only to be surrounded by royal guards.
"Put your hooves where I can see 'em! We got an anonymous tip giving us you location to the exact dot! Do you have any last words to humor us with?"
"Yeah. We got a few. Look at the sky for a moment. You'll find the discovery very interesting!" Marcus said with arrogance hidden in his voice.
All of the guards looked up into the starry sky, seeing nothing but stars and a flaming bolt heading right for them.
"HIT THE-" it was too late. The guards were burnt to a crisp by the explosion the bolt left. As the bolt hit, the three convicts had teleported into the local apple orchard, beginning to make their way to the train tracks to rest for the next day.
TWO HOURS LATER
"Nedak! Where do you think are right now, because I think we made enough progress to stop and make camp?" Asked Renimcinos. He was clearly tired from all the flying and running they had been doing for about seven hours.
"We are currently two miles away from Applelousa. We can stop there and rest for a while. We can only stay there for a short time though. If we rest too long, we'll lose track of Marcus and his lackeys.
"Good! I don't think I can run for much longer." Spark panted as he said this, clearly losing energy from all the running.
TWO MINUTES LATER
"Okay guys! We made it to Applelousa! Let's find a motel to stop at for the night so we can Rest for the night.
"Hey! I see a motel right by the saloon! How convenient!" Rena exclaimed
As they were walking towards the motel, they were discussing random things to keep their minds off the tension of what they needed to do if they wanted to stop Marcus. When they got to the motel, the pony at the counter told them, "Sorry fellas. We don't have any rooms available at the moment. They're all filled with injured guard ponies."
"How did they get injured?" Asked Nedak.
"The guards say they were surrounding a shack where three suspicious ponies where holed up in. When the three came out, they attempted to arrest them, when they were suddenly hit by a huge ball of fire! There were some casualties, but most of the guards were left badly injured."
"Thanks for the info. We can sleep in the lobby of you don't mind. We got a huge job tomorrow."
"Oh please do! You can stay as long as you need to! If you need anything, come to me."
"We'll keep that in mind." Nedak said as he and his friends started walking to the lobby, "Is it me, or did that guy act as he knew us from somewhere?"
"Beats me." Replied Rainbow Dash, "Your name was The talk of the country when you defeated that fox thing."
As the night went on, the group starting talking about random topics, considering the fact that the plan was simple: Get to Canterlot, intercept Marcus, defeat Marcus and his lackeys, send them to a horrible place using the pendants teleportation powers. They eventually fell asleep, everyone in a separate sleeping bag, except Nedak and Rainbow Dash, they had to share one since they didn't expect her joining in on the hunt. Like they minded that though. While the two sides of the fence were sleeping, they had been imagining the things they would do as celebration if they succeeded in their plans. Neither side knew the fact that life would change for better or worse if either side succeeded...
The light of the morning sun broke through the cheap blinds in the motel lobby, bouncing off a mirror, going straight into Nedak's dark green eyes. It took only a few minutes for it to bother him. He ignored it at first, but then it got to a point where it-
"BURNS!!!!"He screamed at the top of his lungs. With that scream of pain, everyone around him were forced awake in terror of attackers they thought they heard.
"What the hay was that for Nedak!?" a very annoyed Renimcinos asked.
"YEAH!! What was that for?! We were all tryin' to sleep!! Now thanks to you, I can't hear as good!!" Lectured Spark
"Sorry about that. My eyes were experiencing a searing pain just now."
When those last words came out of his mouth, the other four burst into a long and hysterical laugher. This wasn't only because he sounded like an idiot saying this, but also because he was led to believe that the sun going into his eyes was considered an attack. He immediately retorted by saying that they needed to get going to Canterlot anyway. The other four agreed to this while still snickering and went outside to continue the chase against Marcus and his friends.
MEANWHILE
"Well that was a horrible idea following the tracks to Canterlot." Marcus whined," Who knew they'd be waiting for us at the station." Marcus and his cohorts were now riding on a carriage to Canterlot for crime speculation and court trial against the murder of many royal guards. The only way out was to bash the door open, but that was deemed impossible because they were shackled to the cart.
"Let me get us out of here!" Tristen demanded.
After a few minutes of Tristan explaining the plan. Marcus had shyly asked the guards, "Um... Excuse me... Can I get out of this cart? I need to water the porcelain flower."
"Sigh... Fine. Stop the cart Skippy."
The cart stopped and the guards opened the door. When they did, the three convicts were no where to be seen.
"Sir! In the sky! Look!!"
The guards looked up in the sky to see a flaming bolt heading straight for them.
"HIT THE-" it was too late. The guards were burnt to a crisp.
It was nearing sunset when Nedak and co had made to Canterlot outskirts. At this point, every pony was silent from the tension of what might possibly be their last battle. Nedak tried to break the silence that loomed over all of them by saying:
"So...What are we doing now?"
The silence still held on for a few more seconds until breaking completely.
"Simple, we wait For chaos to break loose, we then go in to stop said chaos and send those idiots to the sun." Explained Reni. With that, the five began to set up for the stakeout.
"Rena! Perhaps you can go inside the city to tell us when all hell breaks loose?"
"That is a great idea Sparky! I'll scout Canterlot for anything suspicious. Let me just get the flare gun ready!" Rena exclaimed cheerfully, trying to make the best out of the dire situation they are trying to stop.
"I think she's had too much coffee." Rainbow Dash pointed out the white pony's clear addiction to caffein as Rena ran off to Canterlot's entrance.
"Tell me about it. It's like someone put twenty nickels in her at once without reading the clear warning." joked Nedak. Everyone had laughed hysterically for awhile. When they had stopped, he had chuckled a little and jokingly followed up that phrase with, "Thank you. Thank you. I'll be here all week."
"Who knew you were such a comedian sometimes! Why is your cutie mark not ponies laughing?"
"Excellent question! It actually stands for all kinds of art. For example: theatre, media, comedy, literature, and image based." Explained Nedak.
"That still doesn't account to the fact that i kissed Pinkie Pie."
"Will you quit mentioning that Reni?! It's just as annoying when Nedak tells bad jokes!"
"HEY! My jokes aren't THAT bad!!!"
As the night went on, the four ponies babbled stories of their life and miscellaneous things. At one point, Nedak began to grieve of the horrible events he had to go through before the one fateful day when he was taken to Equestria and life began to show meaning. Every pony else just listened as he rambled on and on. When he finished his lament, they saw the telltale flare go into the air. For added effect, the flare exploded to make it very clear that it's time to end the chaos once and for all.
"Alright! We got the signal! Let's get going!" Spark blankly said, acting more serious than he has ever been before.
"Aright! You two get going! I need to tell Dash something. Also! Spark! Throw me your pendant!" Nedak had needed to make this quick.
"What ya need to tell me rookie?" questioned Rainbow Dash.
"Okay... How else can I say this? Dash, if we end up failing this, I need you to get out of here as fast as you can. Take this pendant and hide on Earth. You'll be safe there. If we ever do come back to find you, you'll know when we find you. The pendant will be set glow brightly when close to the others. If its not us, the pendant will turn a dark red. Wish me luck..." When he finished talking, he immediately pulled her into a long, deep, kiss. It lasted until a large telescope zoomed up to them and projected a booming voice.
"LUNA! The rumors about those two pegasi are true! Get the camera!!"
"Not now Celestia! Can't you see the three criminals coming right for us?!"
After hearing that conversation Nedak had nervously mutter, "Well... That was awkward... Gotta go...." With that, he began to fly towards Canterlot to help his friends end this chaotic war at the source.
TEN MINUTES LATER
The three heroes had arrived at the palace to find both Luna AND Celestia lying on the hard marble floor unconscious. They were shocked that It was that easy for Marcus, Vincent and Tristan to take them down. It was only a matter of time before they issued control over Equestria.
"Looking for someone?"
The three looked up to see none other than Marcus sitting on the throne with a very flashy crown on his head. To his side were Vincent and Tristan smirking at them with a less flashy version of Marcus' crown sitting on their heads.
"If you wanted to stop us so easily, you should have just took us out at the market and ended all of this suffering. Oh wait! We stopped you before you even could lift a finger."
"Why don't you fight fair then?" Retorted Spark. "If you want a challenge, you're looking it in the eye!"
"Fine... We'll play by your rules. You can still use magic... If you even have it." Marcus laughed as he said that last part.
"I'll have your tongue..." Growled Spark. His horn and eyes glowed a bright red as he levitated into the air. Everyone just watched as he was seemingly going mad with power. After a minute or two, he appeared to have launched something at Marcus and his cronies.
"What did you even do just then?" a concerned Marcus asked.
"Heh... You'll see." Grinned Spark.
Just then, a small red orb appeared in front of Marcus' face. By now, the three just stared at it as the orb started flying around their faces like a fly. At this point, they were laughing at Spark. What they didn't notice was that Spark and his friends were nowhere to be seen; Also the fact that red orb is now the size of the stained glass windows behind them. The orb then went hurtling down to the closest thing that was laughing at said orb, who just happened to be Marcus.
"Bahahahahahaha! Wait a minute where are th-" Marcus was interrupted by the massive explosion behind them. The explosion left the palace intact. It only injured Marcus and his cronies.
"How do you like THAT for a spell?" Boasted Spark. He was clearly proud of what happened to them. What happened next was shocking to him.
"I don't see what was so great about it. I didn't even feel anything."complained Marcus,"In other words, your magic sucks."
"Oh that is IT!" Nedak went to kick Marcus, who stepped to the side and instead ended up causing Vincent to be brutally kicked in the face. Vincent immediately kicked him back. The two then took to the air as they began getting into air combat. Renimcinos took this as a sign and Head-butted Tristan in the neck. Tristan retaliated and threw him to the ceiling. And proceeded to beat the living heck out of him. Spark and Marcus kept to the ground, fighting. The only one who seemed to be unscathed was Nedak, that air combat training with Dash was really helping by now. Who knew that black belt wasn't for showing off. Within mere minutes, Nedak, Renimcinos, and Spark were at the top of their level while the Allicorns had everlasting endurance. This everlasting endurance was only achieved through absolute magical ability. They only have this ability through the pure evil in their hearts. If it weren't for that, they would be week and helpless to their surroundings. Marcus then took the opportunity and knocked Spark out cold with a clean blow to the head. As Nedak looked in disbelief, Vincent wrapped his forelegs around Nedak and threw him to the floor. Tristan did the same to Reni and joined Marcus and Vincent in tying the three to a pole. After that was through, the three returned to their throne... And waited...
Nedak woke up to the sound of bells ringing from the local bell tower. He tried rubbing his eyes but his forelegs were tied to whatever he was up against. His head was still hurting from whatever he was doing the other night. He tried to go to go back to sleep, but he was immediately awoken by a bloodcurdling scream that echoed through the palace as if it traveled dimensions or something. He began to hear three familiar voices. He looked to his sides, and saw the faces of Spark, Renimcinos, and surprisingly enough, Rena.
"How did they find you Rena?" a confused Nedak asked.
"You guys took to long to meet back at the choke-point, so I came to the palace only to get captured."
"Do you know where Dash is?"
"No. Not even her friends know. We can only guess she's around here somewhere."
"Nice to see the pups decided to wake up for Judgement Day. We were wondering if we should just destroy this place while you were still asleep. But we wanted you to see the utter destruction of Equestria, so we struck fear into their hearts while you were asleep. It will be a long time to recover from the pure shock." a mysteriously figure said.
"Marcus!? If I ever get out of this rope, you will regret ever tying me to this pole!"
"Oh please. If you did, my associates would have your head if you did that... Kaden!"
"DON'T YOU DARE CALL ME THAT!!" Nedak hissed as he slowly turned a lighter shade of grey.
"Why do you keep running from your past Kaden? We used to be the best of friends; what ever happened to the days when we would cause trouble and have fun like friends should?"
"I learn from my mistakes! You never knew me for the real me. You just saw me as an acceptable loss that could take anything thrown at me! If you can't handle change. There is no point trying anymore!" By now, Nedak was completely grey. Even his eyes were grey.
"If you learn from your mistakes, why did make the biggest one of all: coming here to run from your problems?" Marcus was very dark when he said that, making it seem as if he had caused all of this himself. "If you didn't come here all the time, we wouldn't have caught on to your little charade. We knew something was wrong with you when you ate that animated grass. We only did what was necessary. We took revenge."
"I did what was right! I have no regrets for turning you in."
"We could have ratted you out for being an accomplice, but we knew revenge was best when plotted out slowly. We had waited for the perfect moment to strike, and it appeared like it should have, like a sore th-" Marcus was interrupted by a swift kick to the face from a dark silhouette that appeared to be a Pegasus.
"I told you I would leave ya hangin!" the silhouette had proudly stated.
"Rainbow Dash?" The four said in unison.
"THE one and only!" She said as she landed by them, "Here. I'll get you guys untied.
"How did you get those two?" Spark asked as he pointed over to the now unconscious Vincent and Tristan.
"Simple, they were too focused making this giant spell bomb in the sky; so I snuck up on 'em and took 'em out." she proudly explained, wings flaring out.
"I think we should tie them up, they won't be passed out for much longer. And we need to punish them for their actions against our proud citizens." a tall figure had said behind them. Everyone had turned around to see-
"Princess Celestia?!" Everyone other than her said in unison. They had immediately bowed to her presence.
"As I had said, they have caused us more distress than anyone ever had, even resorting to murder of royal guard. I don't think banishment is a good enough punishment. Any ideas?"
"I have one." Nedak had blankly said, slowly walking to the unconscious Marcus, taking the pendants off him and his friends. "I can send them to the sun with this pendant I'm holding. If there any objections, speak now..."
Everypony was silent.
"Well... Go on Nedak!" Reni impatiently said.
"Okay..." Nedak had took the pendant in his hoof and recited, "Command input: The Last of Suns. Password: Harmony. targets: Marcus, Vincent, and Tristan, Word inputed into targets head: So long forever... Friends."
The pendant had emitted a bright white light and began to pick up the three unconscious Allicorns spun the three in an elliptical motion.Within seconds, it was impossible to see anything other than a blur of multiple colors and lights. As if on Que, there was a blinding light that obstructed all view from all angles. When the light passed, there was nothing where Marcus laid.
"Well... It's finished...They're gone...forever..."
"You did what you needed to...its all over...I can't believe it..." Reni blankly stated.
"They fought hard, and fell harder..." Spark added.
"Maybe this could have ended better..." Rena complained.
The silence went on for around twenty minutes until Rainbow Dash broke the silence.
"Why don't we head back to Ponyville so we can forget all of this chaos?"
"You can't just forget murdering someone you used to know as a friend? I need to think this all over. Don't expect me at school Reni." Without another word, Nedak flared his wings and flew off.
"Don't worry. I'll get him back." Dash reassured them of that, "If anything, it's just a grieving of that conversation he had with Marcus." She then flew out the same window to go catch up with Nedak.
"He's not coming back is he?" Spark said in a disappointed tone. "What Marcus said showed why he will never come back."
"I'm still trying to get over the fact Nedak was FRIENDS with that jerk!" Scolded Renimcinos. "I never saw that possible until today."
"Either way, we would have lost. I mean, if we failed, we'd probably be on the sun burning to a crisp by now. If we didn't fail, we would lose our dearest friend." Rena admitted.
Not another word was spoken in that castle unless you count the command for the portal to open being yelled. The three stepped in to resume their lives. Nedak on the other hand had ALOT of thinking to do. What did Marcus mean when he implied he had given him the chance to go to Equestria and stay there? Did he create Yami? Too many questions to answer at the moment. He just needed to spend time where he wanted to be most, Equestria with Rainbow Dash. She'd soon figure that out for herself.
