Author's Note

(February 2 2021: I edited this, just to fix up the mistakes.)

Scene #1

The seven girls were in the middle of the mall, as they saw nothing but the shops before. The fountain that was beside them was squirting out water as the pennies that were thrown in for "wishes" continued to be wet. It was now two-thirty in the afternoon as the mall was continuing to be crowded.

They began to look around the area as they tried to find the couple. As a minute passed, no avail as they saw no one but the crowd going on their way.

Sunset Shimmer sat on the edge of the fountain, she slowly began to thing about the two. Did they forget? She thought. She took a look at her six friends. "Do you see the two? It's been almost two hours since we separated and promised to meet at this spot." The friends nodded in agreement as Rainbow took a sip of her boba tea.

"Yeah, and besides I have to go home soon since I have to help my parents rebuild their shack. They said they wanted to use it for, well, reasons."

Twilight lifted a brow. "Reasons? As in what?" She asked.

"Eh, I don't know. Perhaps for gardening or anything." Rainbow added. Fluttershy sat on the fountain edge, she took out her yellow phone-case phone. She tried to turn it on but no avail as her battery died. Her heart slowly sank to her gut as her pupils lowered. In seconds she started to feel her heart pumping fastly.

"Oh no, my battery died," Fluttershy squeaked out, her lips forming a frown. Rarity looked at her, then gave her a comforting smile.

"Oh darling, don't worry, I'm sure there's a payphone to call your brother." Rarity said, the pink haired girl looked at her, shaking her head before she looked at her phone then at the ground.

"B-but you don't understand, I feel worried for the two. What if they got hurt? Stolen? O-or worse! Eep! Got in trouble!" She squeaked out, shivering at the sudden thought she had, continuing to feel her heart in fast pace. Sunset turned her head to her friend before she put an arm around her friend, giving her a warm yet comforting smile. Rarity too did the same. Fluttershy looked to her two friends, her lips continued to frown.

"Don't worry Fluttershy, I'm sure the two are okay. Perhaps Laura is trying on some clothes by now." Sunset said.

"Yeah, or maybe buying dozen cupcakes for the each of us! That'll be so tasty!" Pinkie squealed out, her smile grew then she licked her lips.

The yellow girl smiled after letting out a sigh. "I hope so. But, I hope they're not-" she was interrupted as the gang heard a sudden scream close by.

"What in tarnation was that scream?" Applejack asked.

"Um, girls? Is that?" Rainbow added, her head turning to the direction, then her finger pointed too.

They all looked towards their right, seeing two people in a shopping cart in quick motion going down the escalator. The two people appeared to be someone they all recognized, as the young white girl was on the front of the cart while the aqua colored boy was in the cart. They looked terrified, customers who were around and on the escalator moved as fast as possible, trying their best not to get hurt.

"I'm sorry guys!" The white girl shouted. The cart flew off the bottom of the stairs, continuing to dash towards the flights of stairs.

"M-m'lady look out!" The aqua boy shrieked out. A scream arose from her as more customers moved out of the way. They felt the cart jiggling up and down as it made it tumble back and forth. Hanging on for dear life, the care made it as it continued to fast pace.

"Z-Zephyr, what do we do?!" The white girl shouted once more.

"I-I don't know, we should-ahh! Look out Laura!" He yelled. She looked up as the cart, the couple seeing they're about to crash into the fountain. The couple once again screamed, but Laura quickly twisted the cart as it span. Zephyr was hanging on tightly before so a final squeak came from the vehicle, making it stopped just an inch away from the cart.

It was now silent, their eyes were shut tightly. Nothing was heard but the sound of the fountain's water continued to spurt out. No sounds of walking were heard or people chatting.

The couple slowly opened their eyes, they saw the customers, including Laura's friends staring at them. Their mouths agape and pupils lowered. The couple's eyes lowered, they glanced at each other, then at the crowd again. Their expressions were the same.

"Zephyr," she whispered. "are you okay?"

He turned his head, shakily letting go of the edges of the cart. He turned his eyes to her then at the crowd once more. "I-I think so," He whispered back. "are you okay m'lady?"

She gave a quick nod. All of a sudden, a security guard went behind them as he tapped on Laura's shoulder.

A slight shriek came from her mouth afterwards she turned around to see a tall green male with dark purple short hair, mustache, shades and a security outfit. Zephyr turned around too as he gave out a small yelp, then bit his lip.

"You two teenagers," he said sternly. "are in big trouble."

The two gulped in unison then their foreheads slowly formed sweat.
