chapter 6: Iris' backstory

Soon they were flying through trees and rivers until they arrived at Cave Alcove and when they did they got on the ground while Iris didn't know how to get off but when she got off she fell but after a few seconds she grabbed her confidence and stood back up

"Okay, what is going on? Who where those people attacking me? Why did my singing do... Whatever it did?" Iris asked all in one turn only to see amaru detransform into a cat "And what is that"

Then Auriana grabbed Amaru and hugged him tightly

"This is Amaru!" Auriana answered

"Well, that's one question answered... Sort of" Iris commented

"We brought you here to answer all your questions. It may be difficult for you to believe this, but you have a very great destiny. You must prepare yourself for…" Talia said but was soon interrupted by Auriana

"Ah, pff! Enough blah, blah, blah!" Then Auriana summons the Ribbon of Volta "Let's just show her!"

Then Auriana touched the floor which made some moons starts and many more things to appear

"Where are we" Iris asked confused

"This is a vision of events that have already happened" Talia answered

"Oh my… was it bad" Fluttershy asked scared

"Yes it was Fluttershy" Talia answered and when she did Fluttershy hid behind Twilight "Fluttershy it's not so bad just a little but not much so you don't have to be scared"

"It's so beautiful" Iris comments after finding the surroundings beautiful

"This is where you were born" Talia said shocking the mane six

"What? You're joking" Iris asked

Then Auriana appeared next to Iris

"Oh, she's not. For one, she never jokes. Plus, you really were born here! It's a land of magic called, Ephedia!" Then she shows the vision of the throne room "That's where the King and Queen of Ephedia sat" Then Auriana leads the mane seven Talia and Iris deeper into the cave "Or they were king and queen. Before Gramorr showed up"

Then the vision showed Gramorr which scared some of the mane seven but mostly Fluttershy who hid behind twilight

"He's that mean-looking guy?" Iris asked

"Yes. He betrayed the rulers and took the throne for himself" Talia answered

"Ugh! What a jerk!" Iris said angrily

"If i see that guy then i will beat him down with my flying skills" Rainbow dash said with a confident smile but then saw her friends glaring at her "Or we will train first hehe"

"So what happened with the king and queen" Spike asked

"No one knows what happened to the king but when Gramorr tried to take the Queen's crown, he found it was magically protected. The Queen's crown was possessed of great magic, stored in oracle gems. It would have been disastrous if Gramorr had been able to use them for his evil purposes. These oracle gems were scattered, and sent to Earth to be kept safe from Gramorr. But they were not the only things sent away to be kept safe" Talia said before there came a vision of baby Iris in the arms of the Queen of ephedia

"Iris... My adorable baby" the vision of the Queen of Ephedia said

"That's me" Iris asked

Then Iris touched her necklace but soon got her hands of it

"Yes, Iris. It is you" Talia said until Auriana interupted her again who was hugging Amaru tightly

"You were so cute!" Auriana said

"It breaks my heart that you'll grow up, and I won't see it but it must be done, for your safety" the Queen of Ephedia said sadly

"Ouch i should've seen that coming" Pinkie said with a sad look on her face

"If that's me, then that means..." Iris said confused and sadly

"You are the princess and heir to the throne of Ephedia. You were sent to Earth to keep you safe from Gramorr, until you were old enough, and strong enough, to use your powers to defeat him" Talia helped

"We were sent to train you!" Auriana continued

"But what about those ponies and baby dragon with Wings" Iris asked

"We'll also help you on the rollercoaster of adventures" Twilight answered

"I'm a princess from a magical land..." Iris said while looking at the ground

"Yes" Auriana said while hugging Iris "We've been looking everywhere for you! And now we've found you!"

"We did too right girls" Spike corrected which made the mane seven nod

"I'm a princess" Iris said before removing Auriana's arms from herself and walks forward a few steps "My parents were a king and a queen. My real parents. I was adopted by my Aunt Ellen, but my real parents were royalty" Then iris turns to her friends "What happened to them?" Iris asked

"Nobody knows. All we know is that now that we have found you, we can concentrate on training you to use your powers to defeat Gramorr" Talia answered

"What powers?" Then Iris puts her hands on her neck "You mean, my voice?" Iris asked

"That's a merely one aspect of your powers, perhaps the first to manifest. You need to learn how to control it properly" Talia said

"Yeah, and we figured out that on Earth, the easiest way to find you was to set up auditions for a band. I thought it would be super fun!" Auriana continued

"The oracle gems that were sent to Earth will allow us to return to Ephedia and defeat Gramorr, when you're ready. You are the key" Talia said until Iris' eyes widened "Your goodness and sense of justice will help us discover them"

"And we will help you across the way" Spike said

"What am I supposed to tell my Aunt Ellen?" Iris asked only for Talia to put an hand on Iris' shoulder

"Nothing. You can't tell anyone about your true identity. It must remain secret" Talia answered

"Nobody? Not even my best friend?" Iris asked

"Nobody you want to keep safe" Talia answered again

Meanwhile in the throne room of Ephedia

"Mephisto! Praxina!" Gramorr shouted only for two large communicate crystals to appear on the ground revealing Mephisto and Praxina to appear in their respective pillar "I'm listening"

"Talia and Auriana have found her" Praxina answered which caused Banes to growl

"how?" Gramorr asked

"By listening to a lot of really bad singers" Mephisto answerd which caused Gramorr to clench his fist tightly and yells loudly which made the room shake

"This is a catastrophic development" Gramorr said angrily "I hardly need to tell you what to do next" Gramorr asked

"Stop the Princesses" Praxina answered

"At any cost" Mephisto continued only for the communicate Crystals to disappear

"No matter what, they must not get the oracle gems" Gramorr answered only for his eyes to flash and glow red
