chapter 7: the first battle ever

Soon 11 of the heroes arrived at Iris Aunt Ellen and the mane seven's home and when they did Iris waved at Aunt Ellen

"Aunt Ellen!" Iris called before Aunt Ellen stood up and hugged her and then Iris looked behind her "These are Talia and Auriana, they're exchange students, and I figured that since we have plenty of room here they could stay with us!" Iris said before blinking in a cute manner

"Exchange students? Oh, how wonderful!" Aunt Ellen said before talking loudly to Auriana and Talia "What country are you from?" Aunt Ellen asked

"Volta"

"Xeris"

Auriana and Talia answered which caused Aunt Ellen to be shocked

"My geography's pretty good, but I..." Aunt Ellen said before Iris helped

"They're teeny tiny countries. Almost nobody's heard of them" Iris said helping Aunt Ellen

"Welcome! Maybe you can teach Iris your language?" Aunt Ellen said welcoming them

"She will learn quite a lot" Talia said back

That's when Iris chuckled and got the attention of the others and sending them upstairs into Iris' room and sat while Iris locked the door

"So, what do I learn to do first?" Iris aksed Talia and Auriana

"Activate your pendant" Talia answered which didn't ring the bell to Iris

"Do what to my what?" Iris asked confused

"The pendant on your necklace. It's magical Once you activate it, it helps you transform into your magical dress" Auriana answered

"I have a magical dress?" Iris asked with cute eyes

"We all do. We were wearing ours when we came to meet you in the alley. It will help you boost your magic. Now, just call out your name, and your realm" Talia helped

"Okay! Hi, my name is Iris, and I come from a nice place called Ephendria" Iris said trying to transform

"One, make it shorter... Just, "Iris, Princess of Ephedia." Two, say it like you're about to kick someone's butt!" Auriana said but in the end yelled

"uh one a little quieter please and two that's my line!!!" Rainbow dash said madly

"Oops sorry" Auriana apologized before Iris made a dramatic pose

"Iris, Princess of Ephendria!" Iris said wrong

"It's Ephedia."Talia helped

"Oh" Iris said before chuckling and striking another dramatic pose "Iris, Princess of Ephedia" Iris said but nothing happened "Maybe there's something wrong with this thing" Iris asked confused

"There's nothing wrong with it. You need to learn to activate it" Talia answered

"But what if I can't? What if I'm not really the Princess of Epheda?" Iris said wrong again

"Ephedia" Talia helped again

"See? I can't even pronounce it!" iris said walking to the chair "Maybe you made a mistake" Iris said before plopping on the chair

Suddenly a scream was heard in the background

"Oh no was that be" Twilight guessed before the 11 heroes ran outside "Aunt Ellen!!!!

"It's the crystal empire all over again" Rainbow dash said after looking at the poeple in Crystals

"The crystal what" Iris asked

"We'll explain everything after we've don' something about this" Twilight answered "Spike you go and free the poeple while we do something with this" Twilight said but suddenly Mephisto and Praxina arrived from one of the Crystals

"Them again?" Iris asked confused

Suddenly Mephisto and Praxina used their crystal magic on them which caused the Princesses and their friends to jump to the sides only for Iris to fall on the ground and Spike grabbing her and bringing her and Amaru to safety while Praxina and Mephisto laughed evily and Auriana Talia and the others to fight

"You're gonna pay for what you've did to Iris last time!!!!" Rainbow Dash yelled flying towards Praxina only for herself to be stuck on the wall with Crystals "hey you will regret for what you've done!!!! fluttershy now!!!!" Rainbow yelled

"Fly my pretties!!!" Fluttershy yelled only for her to be trapped in the crystal

"If only the pillars were here" Twilight wondered running up to Praxina and Mephisto but then she got a crystal on her horn which caused her to be weak "No!!! not my horn!!!!"

"Alright that's enough" Applejack called kicking some apples but when she was finished she was out of apples "Land sakes i'm out of apples again

"Okay then if they can't do it i will!!!" Pinkie said charging herself off the cannon and onto Mephisto and Praxina only to get trapped in a crystal

"This is war..." Rarity called before charging to Praxina and while she did she dodged some Crystals "Ugh!!! stop it" Rarity said only to be unconcious on the ground "Ugh girls i'll be back soon

"Talia, Princess of Xeris!" Talia said before transforming into her blue version

"Auriana, Princess of Volta!" Auriana said before turning into her orange version

After transforming Auriana and Talia made a wall with crystals when they said

"Crystal Retrocium!"

"Talia of Xeris. I heard you'd escaped but I thought they were joking! And who is your little sidekick?" Praxina asked

"Auriana of Volta!" Auriana answered angrily

Then Praxina puts her hand in a positioned manner near a her mouth and chuckles evily

"Never heard of you" Praxina said mockingly

"You talk too much" Talia said before blasting an magic blast onto Praxina which caused to jump and fly to Talia and stood behind her

"Should I laugh at you instead?" Praxina said before making Talia stuck on the spot with Crystals

"Good one, Prax!" Mephisto commented

"Ateruina!" Praxina said using her crystal magic and Mephisto's magic on Auriana only for Auriana to make it stuck on the shield

"Crystarmum!" Auriana said making an shield

On the other side of the wall

"Come on Iris you can do it" Spike said trying to help Iris " Just believe in yourself

"I'm a Princess" Iris said trying to transform

"Yeah come on come on you got this" Spike said helping Iris

"You are the princess and heir to the throne of Ephedia" Talia said in Iris' mind

"I'm a Princess" Iris said before seeing visions of her friends in trouble and more "I'm a princess! I have a realm to save. Iris, Princess of Ephedia!" Then she started transforming into her pink version "I really am a princess" Iris said while Spike cheered for her and Amaru clapped and when they did Iris was already looking at the car and in a few minutes Iris was ready for the battle and when she was she ran towards Mephisto who saw her running

"That's funny. You haven't been trained in magic, what are you gonna use on me?" Mephisto asked only to be kicked on the leg

"Whatever I've got" Iris answered

"Ow" Mephisto said while crounching on the floor

"You let her distract you, you fool! She doesn't even know any magic yet!" Praxina said angrily

"Ugh, that really hurt!" Mephisto said while crounching

Suddenly Iris gave thumps up at Auriana and Talia who got their magic stronger while Talia saves some of Iris' friends and deletes the wall and while she finished she stood with Auriana and made a stronger shield making Praxina's magic dissapear and when it did Talia wanted Praxina to fly into the air again only for Praxina to escape and flew to the other side of the roof where she used her magic while calling Mephisto

"Mephisto, help me!" Praxina asked and when she did Mephisto grabbed Iris' feet making her fall onto the ground but when he wanted to use his magic again Iris used her crystal needle making it land in the middle of mephisto's butt

"ow!" Mephisto yelled making her magic blast to another place

"Hey! I did magic!" Iris screamed happily

Suddenly Mephisto and Praxina ran to the place where the wall used to be and stood there

"Join us!" Talia called making Iris regroup with her friends "Just follow our lead" Talia called while Mephisto and Praxina prepared their magic while the Princesses and their friends held hooves claws and hands "Xeris!"

"Volta" Auriana called

"For our friends!" Fluttershy and Spike yelled

"For our Families!" Applejack and Rarity yelled

"For our home!" Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie yelled

"For Sunnybay!" Twilight Sparkle yelled

"Ephedia!" Iris yelled Then a gem back in Ephedia glowed bringing an part of the strongest magic to Talia Iris Auriana Twilight Rainbow Pinkie Spike Applejack Fluttershy Rarity making them break from the circle and brought out their weapons and brought the magic blast onto Praxina and Mephisto being blast away

"Crystal Luxtra!" The Princesses and their friends yelled

"High five!" Iris said putting her hand up into the air

Then Auriana did the same

"Yay!" Auriana said

Then Iris giggled and scratched the back of her head

"I guess you don't know that one" Iris said chuckling

Then the girls and spike high fived each other

"Yay!" the 11 heroes yelled only to notice only one more problem and walked up to Aunt Ellen who was still stuck in a crystal

"Is she okay? How do I fix this?" Iris asked sad only to see talia ready to use her magic

"Crystal Solvenda!" Talia said freeing the other crystalized poeple

"Oh! What happened?" Aunt Ellen asked sighing but suddenly Iris hugged her while chuckling "Are you girls all right? I heard loud noises"

"Uh, we were practicing! 'Cause... We're in a band" Iris answered

"A band? How fun! You know, I used to be in a band when I was in high school" Aunt Ellen said excited

"I was too but it didn't go so well" Twilight agreed
