"Hey Rex~" growning I awoke to the voice of my partner as I got up from the couch as arose from my sleep as I turned to see Cam looking at me with a smile.

"Hey big guy...sleep good?" She asked as I nodded.

"Yeah better than good I haven't slept like this in ages," I told her as she smiled.

"Good to hear that now then are you ready for first day of work?" She asked and I nodded.

"Born ready," I told her as I got up as smiled.

"Good here try these on," She said handing me a folded jumpsuit for me to where as I grabbed it. "Also put these over you hands don't want to scare the guests with that metal hand of yours,"

Along with the jumpsuit she handed me a pair of gloves as she nodded.

"I'll let you get dress partner," She told me as she waved to me as she left the guest room, turns out the garage doubled as a house so that was nice to know after all.

Smiling down at what was in my hands I gave a nod as to start my new life in this alien like world before me, so with that I switched my guardsman clothes to the jumpsuit. I then left the room to go down the stair to the main garage as I was meet with Cam talking to a 'pony' about there car acting up on something.

"When I try to turn it out it makes this chchchchchch sound and I'm scared to drive it and-" The pony then notices me as I waved with a smile. "Who is that?"

Cam turned to me with a smile and went back to the pony before pointed to me with her thumb.

"That's Rex he's my new partner," She said to the pony who looked at me confused.

"What is he?" The pony asked to which Cam said:

"He's a human,"

The pony titled her head at the name and turned to me completely confused at what I was before turning to Cam.

"What on Equestira is a human?" She asked.

"That's not important Ms. Stone all you should know that your car is a good hands," She said as Ms. stone seemed worried before turning to Cam.

"Alright Cam I trust you but please be careful around that new partner of yours he seems...off," She said as I crossed my arms as Cam laughed.

"Trust me I can handle myself and besides if he pulls anything I'll kick his ass," Cam said with a smile as I rolled my eyes, Ms. Stone gave a small smile at that as she waved to Cam and began to leave.

"Come back tomorrow I should have her running like new by morning," The Abyssinian said to the customer as she left leaving us to the tan car in the shop as Cam placed a hand on her side.

"Now then how about we see whats wrong with her before we eat huh?" Cam said pointing to the car as I nodded, walking over to the car she popped the hood to see the engine as she looked down at it. "Alright girl whats got you going sick,"

Cam went into the car as I walked over to look under the car to check for any leaking, there was nothing...that was a very good sigh. I knew machines well since I normally hung out with our company's tech priest to do mantance on my bionic arm and wargear, the tech priest taught me a thing or two about machine and how to fix them if they where broken.

"Oh I think I see the problem," Cam stated as I walked over to her as she reach into the engine.

"What is it?" I asked as I looked down into the engine.

"The piping to the engine is blocked this is why its making that sound there is something blocking the fuel line to the engine," She stated as I grabbed her shoulder to see what she was looking at.

"Damn the sucker is stuck on," She moved away as she turned to me. "Think that bionic hand can get it off Rex?"

With a smile I nodded as I went over to the piping that she was pulling and with a gentle tug I pull the piping as I lifted it to the two of us.

"What is that?" I asking looking at the strange piece of metal that was logged into the tube as she looked at it and pull the small gas covered piece and looked at it just as confused as I was.

"I think this is some gas nossle," She said as I blinked.

"A nossle? How did it get in the gas line?" I asked as she shrugged.

"It musta broke off somehow," She said as she handed me the nossle piece as I took it to see it, sure enough it seemed to be some nossle fragment as I placed it down on a table before going back to the engine to reattach the piece back onto it. Cam walked over to the driver seat and I gave her a thumbs up as she lit up the car's engine causing it to sound smoothly as I smiled.

"Sounds a lot better," I said as she nodded.

"Easy job big pay," Cam said as she turned off the engine as I shut the hood.

"What else do we got to do to the car?" I asked as she smiled.

"I guess we can do mantance on it but first I'm starving how about you?" She asked as I nodded.

"I could go for something to eat," I said as Cam smiled as she took off her goggle from her head.

"Come on I know the best place to get pancakes," She told me as she grabbed her keys.

"Whats a pancake?" I asked as she turned to me with a horrified look on her face.

She walked over to me and looked me in my face with that look as I began to worry if I said something wrong as she then grabbed my arm.

"Get in car now!" She said as she dragged me to her muscle car.

Getting into the car she basic jumped into her seat as I watched as she sent us flying into the air before landing on the road at how fast she hit the gas as we then sped us though town. She then hit the brakes, if it wasn't for my seat belt I would have went flying though the windshield as she turned to me while parking the car.

"Get out," She said as I nodded.

Exiting the car I shut the door as she got out and walked over to me grabbed my arm again and dragged me into a building that held the sign a big neon sign that read: 'Sugar cude corner'
