I woke to the sound of breaking glass as did Cam, she moves up from off of me as I reached from my pistol as I pulled it from the side stand.
"Someone is in the house," Cam whispered as I nodded.
Getting up I behind the couch as the screen was the only thing lighting the room as I held my weapon in my hand moving up I began to look around the living room. Nothing, Getting up with Cam watching my back I began to shuffle my way over to the hallway making sure to check my corners as we walked down the hall. Nothing so far but that glass sounded like it came from the garage downstairs, I went by the door to see it was still closed as I gently opened the door as Cam held my shoulder.
"Careful Rex," She told me as I nodded.
As I opened the door I held my pistol tightly as I could fell the machine spirit ready for action, as I came onto the catwalk I noticed it more than one target was below me. They seemed to be looking for something as they opened everything they could as I narrowed my eyes as they came about. Closing the door again I turned to Cam who looked at me as I turned to her in a whispering voice.
"I count five that I can see there could be more," I told her as she nodded.
"What do we do?" She asked to which I sat there in thought.
"Don't know but I can't go in guns blazing without them overwhelming me," I told her as she nodded. "We need to play this smart I need to get to my gear.
"Right,"
The two of us carefully walked back to the living room and oh boy...
"Huh, who leaves the TV on?" Another target...
I watched as the target turns off the TV as he get upholding the DVD cover, as he spoke.
"The fast and the dash...Eh, not really my thing," He drops it as he didn't notice me walked up behind with my knife out. "Now where are they?"
He turns to me as I he goes wide-eyed going for his weapon but I thrust my knife into his throat as he gasps as blood fills his windpipe as he falls to his knees dying. Before falling to the floor dead, kneeling down I grabbed the bag around his head and pulled it off as the face of a pony appeared before me. Cam walks over to me as I get up and turned to her as I point to the body with my knife.
"Friend of yours?" I asked she shook her head.
"Never seen him in my life," She told me as I turned back to the body.
"Whatever the case is I need to suit up," I told her as she nods.
Going over to my gear I began to suit up quickly, years of training comes out to be useful here was I able to put on my entire suit on within a minute as I flip the switch to my hot-shot las gun It hissed ready for battle. Walking over to the other door I opened it slowly as I noticed they were still in the garage I turned to Cam and spoke.
"Stay behind me or behind cover don't leave my side," I told her as she nods.
"Of course," Nodding I then go down the stairs with her behind me as I pointed to some cover in the form of tool Box, she nods as she ran over to it I raised my weapon as I pointed my las gun at the ponies before firing a wave of laser fire into the their backs turning them into clouds of red mist.
"Holy shit," Cam whispered as I lowered my weapon as I counted Four clouds of red mist.
There was one more...I carefully walked forward ready for anything that was until I heard a pair of footsteps coming right at me as I turned with my rifle out but I didn't have time to do so as the attack came right on me firing one shot. The bullet bounced off my carapace armor as he jumped me. Falling the floor he pulled a knife on me as I grabbed his knife hand as he tried to get me in the throat where my armored lacked. Holding back I kicked him in the balls as he whined like a bitch before I punched in the face as he dropped the knife before I grabbed him back the neck and threw him into a work-beach. He then grabbed a hammer and ran right at ready for another attack he was stoped as something hit him upside the head, falling to his knees he dropped to the ground knocked out as I looked down at him.
"Cam?" the Abyssinian smiled as gave me a peace sign as she held a smile on her face.
"Hey handsome,"
Moving back from that comment I turned to the outside as I saw three black vans outside the garage I turned to Cam who walked over to me as she held a large wrench in her hand.
"More of them?" She asked I nodded as I pop my knee.
"Stay here," I said but before I could leave I felt a hand on my arm as I turned to her to see Cam giving me 'don't say that' look.
"Hey, I can help!" She told me as I looked at her before sighing.
"Of course you do," Reach down I picked up a machine gun from one of the 'bodies' and handed it to her as she smiled. "Cover me from the upstairs window.
I said as she nods before running upstairs as I raised my rifle and opened the door.
"Where are they?" The agent asked as the other one shrugged as they looked at the door.
"It shouldn't take that long and the gunshot," He said as the other agent held out his hand to him.
"No, you know the mission don't interfere," He said as the other agent sighed.
"But," The agent shook his head. "Don't think about it mate,"
"Still wait a second is that-?" Before the agent could finish gunshots came the second floor as the two agents in the van hitting the two in the driver's and passage seat.
The two in the back opened their doors only to be faced with red beams of light turning them into red mist.
"CONTAC-!" The other agent was silent with a red beam of light.
An agent still in the van held his radio out as he spoke into it.
"Command do you read me we are taking heavy losses send bac-" *Tap Tap*
The agent froze as he heard this and turned his head to see the target point a strange-looking rifle at him as he went wide-eyed.
"Buck me,"
*ZAP!*
